Saving Jay from the Administeration
" How?!" Mia yelled. " How, how, how how?!"
She and the other ninja were standing in front of the door labeled, " Agent Walker".
" Shhh!" The anger hissed. " Be quiet!"
" Are you even authorized to be here?" another agent asked.
Mia whirled around, and they seemed to recognize her.
" Yo... you look familiar."
Mia rolled her eyes. " Obviously, you nitwits. I'm the daughter of Daisy Walker."
They gasped. " Not like that, but now that you say, you do look like the old wind ninja, my cousin." a third agent said.
Mia squinted, then gasped. " Aunt Mary?!"
" Mia!"
The agent and Mia ran towards each other, and embraced one another.
" Oh, my goodness, Mia! How you've grown! You look like Daisy!" Mary said, studying her neice.
Mia giggled. " Everyone says that."
Then, she turned to the door. " Including Jay."
" Jay?!" Mary looked perplexed.
" Yeah, Jay's behind that door." Mia looked confused. " Why?"
Mary turned to the others. " You told me a person named Walker was behind that door!" She accused.
They did not fumble. " Ma'am," one said. " You need to fill out paperwo-"
" I'M DONE WITH YOU AND YOUR STUPID PAPERWORK!" Mia yelled, wind swirling behind her as she walked towards them. " You are GOING to open this door, you are GOING to get him back to me, and you are GOING to let us go."
The agent gulped. " Ma'am, we can not-"
" Your choice." Mia took her katanas out and looked at them, unfazed. " Now, we can do this the easy way or hard way. Easy way is quick and painless. Hard way is long and full of pain. And I've done both."
Mary looked at her niece, nervous. " Uh, Dai- I mean, Mia? Maybe tone it down a notch."
Mia's eyes were blazing. " No. Now, be a dear and do as I say, or I will not hesitate to kill you."
The agents, seeing how dangerous Mia was, gulped and nodded as they fumbled with the doorknob.
Inside, there were loads of lights, and they heard yells. " Ha! Take that, you imbecil!"
Mia marhced to the TV and stood in front of it. Jay yelped, quickly turned the game off, and pretended to be doing work. Mia, though, ripped the papers out of his hands and threw them away, then grabbed Jay by the shirt.
" Jay Elizabeth Walker, listen to me, right now." She said sternly. " Aunt Mary is going to put your hand on your head, and her healing powers might give you your memories."
" That's... just the thing, Mia." Mary said. " I don't have my powers."
Mia's face paled. " WHAT?!" She yelled.
Mary stepped back. " They took it."
" Of course they did," she muttered.
Mia's frustration boiled over as she paced back and forth in the small, dimly lit room. The air was thick with tension, and the other ninja watched her warily, unsure of what she might do next. Jay, still dazed from being yanked from his game, stood there looking bewildered, his usual spark dulled by confusion.
"How could they take your powers?" Mia's voice was a mix of disbelief and simmering rage. She turned back to Mary, her eyes narrowing. "Aunt Mary, who took them? How did this happen?"
Mary, visibly shaken, sighed deeply. "Mia, it's a long story. After your mother—Daisy—died in the crash, there were... incidents. After the merge, they found me. Without my memory. They knew who I was."
Mia's fists clenched, her knuckles turning white. The wind around her began to pick up, swirling faster and faster. The agents, sensing her growing anger, backed away further, their eyes wide with fear.
"They... they had this device," Mary continued, her voice trembling. "It drained my powers. I couldn't stop them. I tried, but I just... couldn't."
Jay, still in Mia's grip, looked at her with concern. "Uh, maybe we should—"
"Shut up, Jay!" Mia snapped, her voice cracking with emotion. She immediately regretted it, her eyes softening as she saw the hurt flash across Jay's face. "I'm sorry, Jay," she whispered, releasing him. "But I can't lose you too. I can't lose anyone else."
She turned to the agents, who were now trembling under her intense gaze. "You," she pointed at the one closest to the door, "tell me everything you know about this device. Where is it? Who has it?"
The agent stammered, "I-I don't know! They don't tell us much. We're just supposed to guard this area. Please, we don't want any trouble."
Mia rolled her eyes, frustrated. "Useless, all of you," she muttered. "Fine. If you're not going to help, then stay out of our way."
She grabbed Jay's hand and marched towards the door, Mary following closely behind. "We're getting out of here," Mia declared. "And then, we're going to find whoever did this to you, Aunt Mary, and we're going to make them pay."
The agents quickly scrambled out of the way, not daring to stop her. As they made their way down the corridor, Mary hesitated. "Mia, are you sure about this? We don't even know where to start looking."
Mia paused and looked back at her aunt, determination etched on her young face. "We start by finding the people who did this. And once we find them, we make them give you your powers back. I'm not letting them get away with this, not after everything they've done."
Kai squeezed her hand, offering silent support. "We'll do this together, Mia. We'll find a way."
Mia smiled at him, a fierce, protective smile. "Yeah, we will. And when we do, they're going to wish they'd never messed with the Walkers."
" Uh, what are we doing?" Jay asked, confused.
Mia yelled. " JAY?!"
" What? Also, that's agent Walker to you."
Mia stopped, and cracked her neck. " What was that?"
Before Jay would mutter out a reply, reinforcement came. They tried to take Jay away, but Lloyd and Zane were ready, Lloyd shooting energy while Zane froze them. Kai and Nya shot their elements at some, and Cole created a barrier.
Now were the ones who managed to stay in. They had their guns pointed at Mia.
" Stand back," One of them said. " We're not afraid to use these."
Mia cacked. " Pathetic."
Mary turned to Mia. " Dear, are you sure this isn't getting to you?"
Mia turned. " No. Why?"
" Because that's how your mother would act."
Mia's laughter echoed through the hallway, sending chills down the spines of everyone present. The wind around her intensified, causing loose papers and debris to swirl around her in a chaotic storm. Even Jay, usually confident and light-hearted, was starting to feel a twinge of fear. He took a cautious step back, his eyes wide with uncertainty.
"Mia, if that's your name," Jay began, his voice trembling slightly, "I... I don't remember much, but this—this isn't right. You're acting... dangerous."
Mia's eyes snapped to him, her gaze sharp and almost predatory. "Dangerous?" she echoed, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "That's Wojira to you, broseph."
Jay blinked, confused and unsettled. He had no memory of Mia or anything about their past together, but something deep inside him knew that this wasn't the Mia he should be seeing. "Look, I don't know what's going on, but you need to calm down. This isn't you, Mia."
Mia's eyes flickered with something unrecognizable—something almost wild. "Calm down? Jay, they took everything from us. They took my childhood from me. They took you, and now they've taken Aunt Mary's powers. And you want me to calm down?" Her voice was rising with every word, the wind around her becoming more violent.
Mary watched her niece with growing concern. "Mia, sweetheart, listen to him. You're scaring us."
But Mia wasn't listening. Her focus was solely on the agents who dared to point their guns at her. "You think you can stop me with those pathetic toys?" she sneered. "You have no idea who you're dealing with."
One of the agents, visibly trembling, tightened his grip on his weapon. "Stand back!" he repeated, though his voice wavered. "I'm warning you!"
Mia's response was a chilling smile. "I'm not the one who should be warned."
Without warning, the wind surged forward, knocking the guns out of the agents' hands and sending them crashing into the walls. The force of the wind was so strong that the agents could barely keep their footing.
The agents stumbled back, and Mia yelled, " YOU TOOK MY BROTHER FROM ME! YOU TOOK MY LOVING, GAME LOVING BROTHER FROM ME!"
LLoyd groaned. " Yeah. The one who kept saying, " ' bro bro goo goo'."
" And, ' You know, you should never swear, it's a sign of weak verbal skills'." Cole added.
Mia rolled her eyes. " My brother was all that."
But then she turned to Jay. " Just a thought. You should know that I, ' Hate to tell you this but objects in the mirror are closer than they appear'."
Jay gasped. " Closer than they appear....."
" You know, I think it's a good thing we're close to the Ninjago museum." Mia commented.
Lloyd groaned, while Kai asked, " And why is that?"
" Because we're about to become HISTORY!" Jay said, feeling a major headache coming.
" Promise me, Jay, that you will always look after your sister. Never, ever, EVER leave one another's side. Do you hear me?"
His flashback pictures
"Mia, stop!" Jay yelled, trying to reach her, but the wind was too strong. "You're going to hurt someone!"
For a moment, Mia hesitated, her eyes flickering between the agents and Jay. There was a brief flicker of doubt, a sliver of the old Mia fighting to resurface. But then the anger took over again, and she turned back to the agents, ready to unleash another wave of power.
But before she could, Jay did something unexpected. He called out to her, not with fear, but with the same firmness he'd used in the past to calm her down. "Mia Walker, you need to stop right now! This isn't who you are!"
Mia froze. The words cut through the storm of anger and pain swirling inside her. She stared at Jay, her breathing heavy, as the wind began to die down. Slowly, the fierce expression on her face softened, replaced by confusion and a hint of vulnerability.
"Jay?" she whispered, as if coming out of a trance.
Jay, still shaken but determined, took a cautious step closer. "Yeah, it's me. And I need you to come back, Mia. The real Mia."
Mia's shoulders slumped as the reality of what she'd almost done sank in. She looked around at the damage, at the frightened faces of her friends and aunt, and then back at Jay, who was watching her with a mix of concern and hope.
"I... I didn't mean to," she stammered, tears welling up in her eyes. "I was just so angry, and..."
Jay stepped forward and gently wrapping her in a hug. "It's okay, Mia. We're here. We'll figure this out together. But you can't let the anger control you. That's not what mom would have wanted."
Mia nodded slowly, the fire in her eyes extinguishing as she allowed herself to be pulled into a hug by Jay. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "I'm so sorry."
"It's okay," Jay murmured, holding her tightly. "We'll get through this, Mia. We'll get your memories back, and we'll find a way to make things right."
As the wind finally settled and the tension in the room eased, the other ninja exchanged relieved glances. Mary stepped forward, placing a comforting hand on Mia's back. "We'll find a way to fix this, Mia. Together."
But deep down, Mia knew that the road ahead would be anything but easy. The anger that had driven her moments ago was still there, lurking beneath the surface, and the loss of her mother and the events that had unfolded were wounds that would take a long time to heal.
But with Jay and the others by her side, she knew she wouldn't have to face it alone.
