Regaining Jay's memory
Since we have no idea what's gonna happen to my baby boy, I'm just gonna go off his theory that Jay isolates himself
One day, Mia and the other ninja were lounging around in the courtyard when they saw a lightning spark come from the forest.
Mia jumped up. " Did everyone see that?"
Cole nodded. " Yeah.
Kai was confused. " Uh, but the sky's clear."
Mia grabbed her binoculars.
One.... Two... Three...?!
Mia gasped, then threw her binoculars to Kai, who fumbled.
" Why the sudden rush, Mia?" Cole asked, watching her.
She pushed the doors open.
" That lightning only belongs to one person besides me." She replied.
Lloyd, who was sipping on lemonade, choked. " Jay?" He sputtered as he ran in with the others.
Mia nodded. " Yep."
She darted into her room, raised her arms, and within seconds was packed.
" Butterscotch, Blackie, with me." She ordered, slapping her leg.
Butterscotch came running to Mia. " Ready!" She barked. ( Sorry, but when I was writing that story, the ' S' button would make a shoe. I don't know why.)
Blackie sauntered and hopped into Mia's bag. " Let's go."
" Woah, woah, hold up! You're not going alone!" Lloyd stated.
Mia looked at him. " You have five minutes."
The ninja hurried to their rooms and packed, while Mia called for her dragon.
" Sapphire, come here!" She called, her hand outstretched.
Sapphire, a magnificent dragon with dark blue scales and golden spots came flying, and settled down in the courtyard.
" Good girl," Mia whispered as she mounted on.
The others came running, and their eyes widened.
" Woah, uh, Mia? Are we really gonna take a dragon?" Kai asked, shrinking behind Cole. " That seems a bit.... dangerous."
Coe turned to face Kai. " Oh, come on! We had dragons when we were little!"
Kai looked at him. " Gee, thanks, bud."
" You're welcome!" Cole said brightly.
As the ninja gathered around Sapphire, Mia patted the dragon's neck. "Alright, everyone, let's get moving. We don't have time to waste."
Cole, trying to keep the mood light, said, "Just remember, if you see any lightning, it's probably Jay. Don't panic!"
Lloyd, looking serious, added, "Stay alert. We don't know what we might encounter in the forest."
Mia gave a quick nod and urged Sapphire into the air. The dragon roared, and with a powerful flap of her wings, they were soaring above the treetops.
As they flew, the forest below grew denser, and the lightning flashes became more frequent. Mia's heart raced, but she remained focused.
"Keep your eyes peeled!" she called out over the roar of Sapphire's wings.
Suddenly, a bright flash illuminated the forest, and they saw a figure standing among the trees. It was Jay, looking more isolated than ever, surrounded by an eerie, crackling energy.
Mia's heart sank. "There he is! Sapphire, lower us down!"
Sapphire landed, and Mia ran to Jay.
But, when she neared Jay, there was a lightning force field separating them.
" Jay!" She yelled.
Jay turned. " Oh, look," he said, lacking his usual spark. " It's the girl and her gang. The ones who humiliated me in front of Lord Ras. because of you, he kicked me off the team!"
Mia growled, but before she could do anything, Kai placed a hand on her shoulder.
" Mia, calm down. One thing at a time. First, regain his memory. Then Ras."
Mia took a deep breath and nodded. " Okay."
But before she could speak, Jay did.
" Ras told me you caused the merge."
Mia's eyes widened in shock. "What?! That's ridiculous!"
Jay, his voice tinged with bitterness, continued, "Lord Ras told me you were responsible for the merge. That you wanted to get rid of me, to send me away."
Mia's face flushed with a mix of anger and hurt. "Jay, that's not true! We've been trying to find you! Lord Ras must have lied to you."
Jay's expression remained cold, but there was a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. "How can I trust you? After everything that's happened?"
Kai stepped forward, his voice calm but firm. "Jay, we know it's hard to believe right now, but we're here to help you. The merge was an accident, and we're doing everything we can to fix it."
Cole added, "We wouldn't leave you behind. You're our friend, and we're not giving up on you."
Mia, her voice shaking but resolute, said, "Jay, you have to remember the truth. We've fought battles together, and we've never abandoned you. Please, just listen to us. Lord Ras is manipulating you."
Jay's eyes flashed with anger. " Lord Ras took me under his wing. He-"
" Didn't you JUST say he abandoned you?" Mia asked.
Jay sighed and nodded. Mia used her lightning to override the bubble, and walked to Jay and touched him. When he didn't flinch, Mia wrapped her arms around him.
" I've missed you, you idiot."
Jay gave her a weird look. " uh.... thanks? I think?"
Cole, clearly exasperated, threw his hands up. "You jerk! We've all missed you! What's with this 'I hate her' nonsense?"
Jay squinted in confusion. "Is that a compliment?"
Mia intervened, her tone firm but understanding. "Easy, guys. This isn't my goofy lightning-wielding brother who loves Nya and me so much. This is Jay without his memory. And when he's like this, he's a bit..."
Jay's eyes widened. "What?! No! That girl defeated me, threw me out of Ras's team! I hate her. Forever."
Mia tisked, shaking her head. "Typical Jay. How naïve. Well, typical Jay when he doesn't have his memory. This has happened five other times."
The others gasped in unison. "Five other times?!" Lloyd exclaimed.
"Yeah," Mia confirmed with a sigh. "Like when we were little. Fortunately, those were short-lived. This... this has been going on for a while."
Kai looked at her with concern. "And how do we fix it?"
Mia shrugged slightly. "We just need to remind him of who he is, and eventually, his memories should come back. But it's not going to be easy. We need to be patient."
Jay, still looking disoriented, glanced at his friends ( so they claimed). "So, you're saying... I'm supposed to remember things I've forgotten?"
Mia nodded, her arms still around him. "Exactly. And we'll help you through it, every step of the way."
Cole, trying to lighten the mood, added, "Just don't go around hating everyone, okay? We've missed you too much for that."
Jay managed a faint smile. "Alright, I'll try. But it's going to take a while to sort all this out."
Mia patted his back reassuringly. "We've got time. Let's get back to the others and start working on fixing everything. You're not alone in this."
As they began to head back, the group's mood lightened. They were united in their mission to restore Jay's memories and return to their normal lives.
Unfortunately, their plan wouldn't go so smooth.
First, when they arrived home, Jay went to his room, where he looked around. He sat on his bed, and found it bouncy.
He began to bounce on it.
Jay sat on his bed, enjoying the bounce. His feet were dirty from their journey, leaving marks on the sheets.
Mia walked in, saw the mess, and yelled in horror, "Jay, get down!"
Jay, bouncing with enthusiasm, responded, "But it's bouncy!"
Mia facepalmed, trying to keep her frustration in check. "You sleep on that, Jay!"
Jay stopped bouncing and looked at her, confused. "Sleep? What's that? Is it this?" He wiggled his bum on the bed, looking even more perplexed.
Mia stared at him, bewildered. "What?! No, Jay, sleeping is when you rest and close your eyes."
Jay tilted his head, still not comprehending. "Rest? Close my eyes?"
Kai, standing at the doorway, couldn't help but chuckle. "Mia, I think we're going to have to start with the basics."
Mia sighed, nodding. "Yeah, seems like it. Jay, just... try to stay still for a moment, okay?"
Jay gave her a playful smile and lay down, attempting to imitate what he thought was sleeping. "Like this?"
Mia shook her head, but a small smile crept onto her face. "Close enough. We'll work on it."
Cole walked in, seeing Jay sprawled awkwardly on the bed. "We need to get him cleaned up first. Jay, let's get those feet washed."
Jay looked at his feet, then back at Cole. "Washed? How do you do that?"
Mia took a deep breath, trying to stay patient. "Come on, Jay. We'll show you."
They led Jay to the bathroom, where Mia started running the water in the tub. "This is how you wash your feet," she explained, demonstrating by splashing water on her own hand.
Jay watched, fascinated. "Wow, that's cool!"
Cole laughed. "It's just water, Jay. Now, give it a try."
Jay hesitantly dipped his feet into the water, a look of surprise on his face. "Hey, it's warm!"
Mia smiled, relieved that he was starting to get it. "Yeah, it is. Now just let them soak for a bit."
As Jay sat there, soaking his feet, the others gathered around, discussing their next steps. Lloyd spoke up, "We need to figure out how to trigger his memories. Maybe we can recreate some significant events from our past."
Kai nodded. "Good idea. It might help jog his memory."
Mia, watching Jay carefully, added, "We'll take it one step at a time. Right now, let's focus on getting him comfortable and reintroducing him to our world."
Jay looked up at them, a mixture of confusion and trust in his eyes. "Are you all really my friends?"
Mia smiled warmly. "Yes, Jay. We are. And we're going to help you remember that."
After washing his feet, Jay wandered back into the living room, where he spotted a stick one of the pets had dragged in. To everyone's horror, he picked it up and tried to eat it.
Cole noticed first and yelled, "Jay, get that out of your mouth!"
Jay, stick still in hand, looked at Cole with wide eyes. "But I'm hungry."
Cole rushed over, snatching the stick away. "You can't eat sticks, Jay! Kai, we need you to check him out!"
Kai, who had been in the kitchen, hurried over at Cole's call. "What's going on?"
Cole pointed at Jay, who now looked a bit bewildered. "He just tried to eat a stick because he's hungry."
Kai sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Alright, Jay, let's sit down and figure this out."
He guided Jay to the couch and began a quick examination, checking his eyes, pulse, and general responsiveness. "Jay, how are you feeling? Any dizziness, headaches?"
Jay shook his head. "No, just hungry."
Kai nodded. "Okay, that's good. Let's get you some real food."
Mia, who had been watching worriedly, jumped into action. "I'll get something from the kitchen."
As Mia hurried off, Lloyd joined Kai and Cole. "What do you think is going on with him?"
Kai shrugged. "It's hard to say. He might be disoriented from everything he's been through. The memory loss and manipulation by Ras could be affecting his behavior."
Mia returned with a sandwich and handed it to Jay. "Here, eat this. It's much better than a stick."
Jay took the sandwich, his expression brightening as he took a bite. "Thanks, Mia. This is good."
Cole, still keeping a close eye on Jay, turned to Kai. "Is there anything else we can do to help him?"
Kai nodded. "We need to keep an eye on him and make sure he's safe. We'll also need to start reintroducing him to familiar things and people to help jog his memory."
Lloyd added, "And we should probably keep any potentially dangerous items out of his reach for now."
Mia, watching Jay eat, nodded in agreement. "We'll do whatever it takes to help him remember who he is and keep him safe."
As they continued to discuss their plan, Jay finished his sandwich, looking a little more at ease. "Thanks, guys. I don't remember everything, but... I feel like I can trust you."
Mia smiled warmly. "You can, Jay. We're your family, and we're here for you."
Jay finished his sandwich and then felt the need for some water. Spotting Mia's talking cat Blackie lounging nearby, he walked over, picked up the cat, and held him up. "Come on, water dispenser. Give me water."
Mia, seeing this, gasped. "Jay?! Put Blackie down!"
Jay looked confused. "What? His name is Beef!"
Blackie, with an indignant look, meowed, "My name is Blackie, not Beef, you dolt! Put me down this instant!"
Jay, startled by the talking cat, almost dropped him. "Whoa, a talking water dispenser?"
Mia rushed over, gently taking Blackie from Jay's grasp. "Jay, this is Blackie, my cat. Not a water dispenser."
Jay blinked, clearly still struggling with his memory. "Oh... Sorry, Blackie."
Blackie huffed, adjusting his fur. "Apology accepted. But please, no more lifting me like that."
Kai sighed, rubbing his temples. "Alright, let's get you some water the proper way, Jay."
He led Jay to the kitchen and poured him a glass of water. Jay took it gratefully and drank it down. "Thanks, Kai."
Mia, petting Blackie to soothe him, joined them in the kitchen. "Jay, you really don't remember anything, do you?"
Jay shook his head, looking a bit lost. "Everything's so fuzzy. I'm trying, but it's hard."
Cole, who had been listening from the doorway, stepped in. "Don't worry, Jay. We'll help you through this. We're not going anywhere."
Lloyd nodded. "Yeah, we've faced tougher challenges together. We'll get your memories back."
Mia added, "And in the meantime, we'll keep you safe and make sure you know you're loved."
Jay smiled weakly, appreciating their support. "Thanks, everyone. I'll do my best."
Blackie, now settled comfortably in Mia's arms, gave a small nod. "You're lucky to have such good friends, Jay."
Jay felt the need to take a bath next. Without much thought, he grabbed some soap and headed to Lloyd's room. Before anyone could stop him, he started lathering up and bathing on Lloyd's bed.
Lloyd walked in, eyes widening in horror. "GUYS?!"
The others rushed in, only to see Jay sitting on Lloyd's bed, covered in soap suds.
Mia gasped. "Jay, what are you doing?!"
Jay looked up, completely unfazed. "Taking a bath. It's comfortable here."
Lloyd, trying to stay calm, said, "Jay, you're supposed to bathe in the bathroom, not on my bed!"
Kai shook his head, chuckling despite the situation. "Alright, Jay. Let's get you to the bathroom."
Cole couldn't help but laugh. "This is going to be a long process."
Mia grabbed a towel and gently led Jay to the bathroom. "Come on, Jay. The bath is supposed to be in here."
Jay, still a bit confused but compliant, followed her. "Oh, right. That makes more sense."
Lloyd started to clean up the mess on his bed, grumbling a bit but understanding the situation. "I'll get this sorted. Just... keep an eye on him."
Kai and Cole helped Jay into the bathtub and started running the water. "Okay, Jay. This is how you take a bath," Kai explained, showing him how to use the soap and water properly.
Jay watched intently, then started to follow along. "Got it. This is much better."
Mia, relieved that the situation was under control, sighed. "We'll get through this. We just have to be patient."
Lloyd, now with a soapy towel in hand, walked in and said, "Let's make sure we keep an eye on him at all times. No more unexpected baths on beds."
Cole laughed, patting Lloyd on the back. "Agreed. Let's make a schedule or something."
As Jay started to relax in the tub, the group discussed their plan to help him regain his memories and stay safe in the meantime. It was clear they had a challenging road ahead, but they were determined to help their friend through it all.
Jay, after finishing his bath, suddenly felt the need to use the restroom. Not knowing where to go, he wandered into the kitchen and, mistaking the sink for the toilet, sat on it.
Mia walked by, saw the scene, and immediately yelled, "Guys? Could you deal with this? I'm too young!"
Kai, Cole, and Lloyd hurried in, and their eyes widened as they saw Jay sitting in the kitchen sink.
Kai sighed deeply, running a hand through his hair. "Right. This is getting out of hand."
Cole tried to keep a straight face but couldn't help chuckling. "Jay, that's not the bathroom."
Lloyd, taking a deep breath, walked over to Jay. "Okay, buddy. Let's get you to the proper place."
Jay looked up, clearly embarrassed. "Sorry. I really don't remember much."
Kai patted Jay on the shoulder. "It's okay, Jay. We're here to help you. Let's get you to the actual restroom."
They gently guided Jay to the bathroom, explaining things along the way. Once there, Kai gave Jay a quick rundown on how to use the toilet properly.
After ensuring Jay was settled, they regrouped in the living room, clearly exasperated but determined.
Mia, still a bit frazzled, said, "We really need to figure out how to help him remember everything quickly. This is exhausting."
Cole nodded. "Yeah, and it's only going to get tougher if we don't come up with a plan."
Lloyd suggested, "Maybe we can try showing him old videos or pictures of us together. It might help trigger his memories."
Kai agreed. "Good idea. And we should keep an eye on him at all times to avoid more incidents like these."
Mia, now feeling a bit more hopeful, smiled. "We'll get through this together. We always do."
As they continued to brainstorm, Jay emerged from the bathroom, looking a bit more composed. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate your help."
Mia walked over and hugged him. "That's what family is for, Jay. We've got your back."
With renewed determination, the group set about their plan to help Jay regain his memories, ready to tackle any challenges that came their way.
Jay, feeling hungry again, wandered into the living room where Kai and Cole were discussing their next steps. Seeing their gis hanging up, he decided they looked like food and started stuffing the fabric into his mouth.
Kai and Cole, who had been mid-conversation, turned to see Jay struggling with the gis. "Guys? Why is this food so hard to chew?" Jay asked, looking genuinely puzzled.
Mia, who had been nearby, rushed over. "Jay! Those aren't food! They're gis!"
Jay looked confused. "Gis? I thought they were snacks."
Just then, Jay's gaze fell on a bar of soap sitting on a nearby shelf. Mistaking it for water, he grabbed it and tried to take a sip, only to find it wasn't what he expected.
Kai and Cole, both exasperated but trying to keep a sense of humor, watched as Jay waved the soap around. "No, Jay! That's soap, not water!" Kai exclaimed.
In the midst of all this, Jay, still confused, noticed the soap and began using it like a toy. He started a tug-of-war with Kai and Cole, pulling at the soap bar as they tried to wrestle it away from him.
"Come on, Jay, let go!" Cole laughed, trying to maintain his grip on the soap.
Kai, struggling to keep the soap from slipping, chimed in, "This is not how you play with soap!"
Jay, still holding onto the soap, was having a great time. "It's fun! Why can't we just play with this?"
Mia, seeing the chaotic scene, shook her head and sighed. "Guys, we really need to get his memory back. He's having too much fun with the wrong things."
With some effort, Kai and Cole managed to pry the soap away from Jay and set it aside. They then guided him back to the kitchen and prepared some actual food for him.
As Jay sat down to eat a proper meal, he looked up at Kai and Cole. "Sorry for the mix-up. I'm still trying to figure things out."
Kai, though exhausted, smiled. "It's alright, Jay. We'll get through this. Just hang in there."
Cole nodded. "Yeah, and maybe next time, we'll keep the soap away from you."
Mia, relieved that Jay was finally getting something to eat properly, added, "And remember, no more eating or playing with clothes. We'll help you get back to normal."
The group continued their efforts to restore Jay's memories, knowing that with patience and support, they'd help him find his way back.
In the midst of their chaotic efforts to help Jay, Garmadon suddenly became very eager to take his pants off. As he started to remove them, Jay, still disoriented and not fully grasping the situation, decided it was the perfect opportunity to assist.
With a mix of confusion and misplaced enthusiasm, Jay grabbed at Garmadon's pants and started pulling them off.
"Jay, no!" Kai shouted, rushing over. "That's not—"
But it was too late. The damage was done. Garmadon's pants were already halfway down, and he was now standing in his underwear, looking both shocked and slightly embarrassed.
"Jay!" Cole exclaimed, hurrying to help. "You can't just do that!"
Mia, flustered and trying to intervene, added, "What are you thinking? You can't—"
Jay, holding up Garmadon's pants and admiring his work, said with a grin, "You shall be called Beef!"
Garmadon, utterly bewildered and red-faced, stared at Jay. "What?!"
The rest of the group, now thoroughly exasperated but trying to contain their laughter, scrambled to restore some order. Kai quickly helped Garmadon pull up his pants and gave Jay a stern look.
"Jay, we need to have a serious talk about personal boundaries and appropriate behavior," Kai said, trying to keep his tone calm.
Garmadon, finally managing to regain his composure, muttered, "Beef? Really?"
Mia, trying to lighten the mood, added, "Well, he's definitely got a unique way of showing affection."
Garmadon sighed, giving Jay a bewildered look. "Let's just focus on getting his memories back before he starts calling everyone new names."
The group nodded in agreement, determined to handle the situation with patience and understanding. Despite the mix-ups and mishaps, they remained committed to helping Jay recover his memories and navigate through this challenging time.
In the midst of trying to manage Jay's confusion, things took another turn when Jay, still disoriented, suddenly reached out and ripped Cole's shirt off.
Cole, taken aback and now shirtless, looked at Jay in shock. "Jay, what the heck?"
Jay, holding up the torn shirt with a proud smile, declared, "You shall be called Goat!"
Cole, now a bit embarrassed and frustrated, tried to cover himself with what remained of his shirt. "Goat? Really? What is going on?"
Mia, exasperated but trying to keep her composure, quickly stepped in. "Jay, you can't just rip people's clothes off and rename them. We need to figure out how to help you remember things properly."
Kai, shaking his head and trying to suppress a laugh, added, "Alright, Jay. Let's calm down. First, we need to get Cole a new shirt, and then we'll focus on getting you back to normal."
Garmadon, who was still dealing with the aftermath of his own wardrobe mishap, chuckled despite himself. "Seems like we've got our hands full."
Mia quickly grabbed a spare shirt from the closet and handed it to Cole. "Here you go, Cole. Put this on while we sort everything out."
Cole, slipping on the shirt and taking a deep breath, managed a wry smile. "Thanks, Mia. Let's just hope Jay doesn't decide to rename me 'Lamb' next."
Jay, looking a bit more confused and less mischievous, watched the interactions with wide eyes. "Sorry, everyone. I'm just trying to understand what's going on."
Kai nodded reassuringly. "We know, Jay. We're here to help you. Let's just try to avoid any more wardrobe changes."
As they continued their efforts to restore Jay's memories and ensure everyone's comfort, they focused on patience and understanding, knowing that their friend needed their support more than ever.
Jay, still grappling with his fragmented memories, wandered off and stumbled upon a cow grazing nearby. With a confused but enthusiastic smile, he said, "Hello, wife! Where is your ring?"
Mia, spotting Jay and the cow from a distance, yelled, "Jay?!"
Jay, oblivious to the confusion he was causing, began dancing with the cow, treating it as if it were his spouse. "Let's dance!"
Nya, who had followed Mia and was watching the scene unfold, looked perplexed. "But I'm his wife...?"
Mia, realizing the misunderstanding, rushed over. "I know, Nya! JAY?! THIS IS A COW, NOT YOUR WIFE!"
Jay stopped dancing and looked at Mia, still convinced. "My wife would never betray me."
Mia sighed in exasperation. "Okay, nice talk. Let's go inside."
With some effort, Mia and Nya guided Jay away from the cow and back towards the house. The group gathered inside, trying to regroup and find a new approach to help Jay regain his memories.
Once inside, Kai took a deep breath. "Alright, let's focus. We need to find a way to help Jay remember who's who. Maybe we can use familiar items or places to jog his memory."
Cole, still chuckling, added, "Yeah, and let's keep the cows and other animals out of the equation for now."
Mia nodded, leading Jay to a quiet corner. "We'll figure this out. For now, let's just focus on getting Jay settled and comfortable."
Jay, looking a bit dazed but calmer, sat down. "Thanks, everyone. I know I'm a bit mixed up right now."
Mia smiled reassuringly. "We're here for you, Jay. We'll get through this together."
Jay's eyes lit up as he spotted a picture of Aspheera on the wall of ' wanted people'. With a burst of recognition, he said, "Bro bro gu gu?"
Mia, eager to see if this was a breakthrough, responded, "Yes, Jay? What do you remember?"
Jay's face brightened as he continued, "There was a pyramid. Nya and I let Aspheera out. She took Kai's powers, and we were locked in. Clutch Powers' book said to do vocal exercises, like 'bro bro gu gu!'"
Mia's eyes widened with understanding. "Yes! You bugged Lloyd a lot about that! Remember?"
Jay nodded vigorously. "I know. I kept saying it, and Lloyd was like, 'Would you stop? It doesn't help.' And I said, 'You haven't even tried it!'"
Mia smiled, relieved to see some memories coming back. "Exactly. Those vocal exercises were supposed to help, and you were really persistent about it."
Kai, who had been listening in, approached with a look of encouragement. "It's great to see you remembering things, Jay. Every bit helps."
Cole, trying to keep the mood light, added, "Well, if it worked back then, maybe it'll help now. Let's keep going with whatever gets us closer to the old Jay."
Jay looked at Mia with a mix of gratitude and concern. "So, I was really annoying with those exercises, huh?"
Mia chuckled. "You were persistent, but that's part of what makes you, you. And it's good to see you remembering things."
As the team worked on helping Jay recover his memories, he continued to repeat "bro bro gu gu" with increasing enthusiasm. Lloyd, who had been trying to focus on finding a solution, was getting more and more annoyed.
"Would you stop that?" Lloyd finally snapped. "It doesn't help!"
Jay, unfazed and still convinced of its efficacy, shot back, "You haven't even tried it!"
Lloyd, rolling his eyes, tried to ignore the chant, but Jay's persistence was hard to ignore. To make matters more chaotic, Jay started singing "bro bro gu gu" in a funny voice while juggling Cole and Zane, who were both struggling to keep their balance.
Cole, looking bewildered, tried to keep his composure. "Jay, seriously? We're in the middle of something here."
Zane, equally perplexed but trying to stay calm, added, "This isn't exactly helping us find a solution."
Despite the circus-like scene, Mia couldn't help but laugh at Jay's antics. "Jay, you're really going all out with this."
Jay, still juggling and singing, grinned. "It's just a little fun! And maybe it'll help!"
Mia, catching her breath from laughing, finally managed to calm Jay down. "Alright, Jay. Let's put the juggling and singing on hold. We need to focus on other methods to help you get back to normal."
Lloyd, still exasperated but relieved to have a break from the constant "bro bro gu gu," nodded. "Yeah, let's try something else. We'll figure this out together."
With a mix of determination and humor, the group refocused on their efforts to restore Jay's memories, knowing that a little patience and creativity would go a long way in helping their friend.
As Jay continued to regain snippets of his memory, he suddenly exclaimed, "Wait... isn't Kai cocky? He loves being cocky."
Kai, taken aback and somewhat amused, responded, "Really? Is that what you remember?"
Jay's face lit up with recognition. "Oh! And Garmadon once wore Rumi's underwear to a restaurant!"
Lloyd, who had been listening nearby, choked on his drink. "What?!"
Mia, trying to keep the situation light, interjected, "Yeah, Jay's memory is coming back in bits and pieces. That's definitely one of the more unusual ones."
Garmadon, overhearing and now looking both embarrassed and annoyed, quickly added, "I'd prefer not to relive that particular memory, thank you very much."
Kai, shaking his head with a mix of amusement and exasperation, said, "Well, if Jay's memories are coming back, we might have to prepare for more interesting stories."
Lloyd, still recovering from the shock, muttered, "Great. Just what we needed."
Jay, oblivious to the commotion he'd caused, grinned. "At least it means I'm remembering more!"
Mia smiled, grateful to see Jay's memories coming back, even if they came with a side of awkward stories. "Exactly. Let's keep going. Every bit of memory helps."
The group, now both entertained and slightly dismayed, continued their efforts to help Jay while trying to manage the unexpected revelations and memories that came their way.
As Jay's memories continued to resurface, he suddenly noticed Nya standing nearby. His eyes widened with recognition. "Hold on... you're the girl!"
Nya, sensing the importance of this moment, smiled warmly and extended her hand. "Yes, Jay. I'm the girl."
Without missing a beat, Jay and Nya began dancing together, their movements full of joy and familiarity. It was clear that Jay was beginning to piece together some of his past feelings.
Mia watched with a mix of amazement and relief. "Wow. He's got that memory back."
Jay, looking into Nya's eyes, said earnestly, "I will always love you."
Nya, touched by Jay's words, embraced him tightly. "Oh, Jay. I love you, too. So much."
