Not the Gong of Shattering.... Oh, Nvm

" That's gonna shatter all his goodness!" Arin pointed out.

" I'm afraid he already has." Lloyd replied.

They watched in horror as Ras struck the gong.

But nothing happened.

" What?!" Ras growled, striking the gong again.

Nothing.

" What is going on?!" Cinder asked, looking at the gong.

Ras growled. " This is gonna be a problem for Jay."

" Maybe," A strong voice said. " But he's MY problem."

Everyone looked up, to see Mia holding a gong that looked like the Gong of Shattering.

All that was different was there were peaceful colors, not red and all those other colors.

Also, the middle had a picture of a tulip.

" What?! Where did you find that?!" Ras yelled.

" Somewhere."

" Yeah, Mia, where DID you get that?!" Lloyd piped up.

Mia turned to him. " A place I cannot tell anyone."

" Which gong is that?" Zane asked, analyzing it. " It does not strike a resemblance in any of my databases."

" The Gong of Peace."

Nya gasped. " Wait a second..... If that's the Gong of Peace, and we have the ' you know what', we just need...."

All eyes turned to Ras's mallet.

" This is gonna be a long day." Lloyd sighed.

" Wait, you've managed to locate the Gong of Creation?!" Ras growled. " But that's impossible!"

" Impossible?! Forgot that Gong! Where did she get this one?!" Cinder squeaked. " It's impossible to locate this one, let alone the others!"

" Not really." Mia landed and threw the Gong to Sora. " It was hidden in the Heart of the Sky."

Ras's eyes widened. " But that's-"

" Only possible if BOTH sky elementals are there?" Her hand lit with lightning. " Did you already forget?"

" Wait, there's ANOTHER heart of an elemental place?!" Cole asked, rubbing his head. " I thought there was only one!"

Mia shook her head. " No, not really. There are for each elemental. Me and Jay were supposed to retrieve this one, but....." She sighed. " Also, I had to deal with the trauma of seeing my parents stuff after all these years."

Nya held her shoulder. " Your mom would have been proud of you."

" And my father? He wouldn't. Not me, but of Jay! He's supposed to use his powers for good, not evil." She pushed Nya's hand off.

" What did you see in there?" Jay asked. He couldn't resist.

" Jay!" Ras yelled. " You don't ask questions from the enemy!"

" But my elemental power is lightning. A sky element. I should at least know what's up there!" Jay protested.

Mia turned away from everyone. " There were mechs and stories and... And... And..."

" And....?" Jay probed.

Mia turned to him. " Pictures of us! Just little kids! You, picking a flower. Me, watering plants with you. Us making a sandcastle at the beach."

She turned away, and tears welled in her eyes. " The stores said if their heroic deeds. If it weren't for that stupid truck, they would have been alive to teach us."

She flew the the air, and above the clouds.

" Hey! She wasn't finished!" Jay said, crossly crossing his arms.

" I think... She wants us to follow!" Nya exclaimed.

" But how are we gonna do that?!" Cole asked.

Sora smiled. " Think no more."

In an instant, a plane materialized.

" You're coming with us, Jay." Nya said, grabbing his arm.

" Hey!" He protested. " I have to ask my master!"

" Your master would want you to do this, Jay." Cole replied, trying to turn it on.

" You know my master?"

Lloyd scoffed. " Know him? He's my uncle! We trained from him! We lived with him!" Then, Lloyd sighed. " Until the merge."

" Oh." Jay nodded. But a nagging suspicion kept coming to his mind. Why did they hate Lord Ras? Did he do something bad to them?

Unfortunately, before he could ask, Cole pressed the turbo speed button, and they were flinged to the sky.

" AHHHHHHHH!" Jay yelled, clinging onto the seat.

The plane rocketed into the sky, the wind howling around them as they ascended rapidly. Jay clung to his seat, his knuckles white from the grip.

"Relax, Jay," Nya said soothingly, though her own eyes were wide with the speed. "We've got you."

As they broke through the clouds, they saw Mia hovering above, waiting for them. She gave a small nod of approval before leading the way higher into the sky.

"Hold on tight, everyone!" Sora called out, adjusting the plane to follow Mia's path.

Jay's mind raced with questions, but he was too overwhelmed by the rapid ascent and the revelations that had just been made. The memory of the pictures Mia mentioned haunted him. Had he really forgotten such important parts of his past?

After what felt like an eternity, they reached a calm, serene area above the clouds. The sun shone brightly, and a floating island with lush greenery and sparkling waterfalls came into view. Mia landed gracefully, motioning for the plane to follow her down.

Sora expertly landed the plane, and everyone disembarked, taking in the breathtaking sight around them. Jay stumbled out, still shaky from the flight, but determined to learn more about his past and these new revelations.

Mia waited for them, her eyes fixed on Jay. "Welcome to the Heart of the Sky," she said softly. "This is where our parents once brought us, Jay. To train, to teach, and to bond."

Jay looked around, feeling a strange sense of familiarity. "I... I remember this place," he said slowly. "But it feels like a dream."

Mia nodded, tears welling in her eyes again. "It was real, Jay. And our parents left a legacy here, one that we need to protect."

Lloyd, Cole, Nya, and Sora stood back, giving the siblings space to process their emotions. The tranquility of the Heart of the Sky seemed to offer a momentary respite from their ongoing battle.

"So, what do we do now?" Cole asked, breaking the silence.

Mia turned to them, her resolve strengthening. "We have the Gong of Peace. Now we need to combine it with the Gong of Creation to stop Ras. But we also need to restore Jay's memory and bring him back to our side."

" Why should I listen to what you say?" Jay suddenly asked. " Ras warned me you might try and trick me."

Mia's eye twitched, and she took a breath.

" Jay Elizabeth Walker," She said in a dangerously low voice. " You wanna do this is easy way or the hard way?"

Jay blinked, then laughed. " A girl.....'s tryna..... threaten me.....!" He managed to choke out.

Mia took her daggers out, and cracked her neck. " Your choice."

She lashed out at him, jumping and electrifying him and soaking him and burning him and tossing him around and around.

" What are you doing to him?!" A gruff voice asked.

Mia turned, to find Ras.

" Not your problem." Mia replied.

" It is. He is my warrior."

Mia's breathing quickened, and she went into the air.

" You forgot something, Ras." She yelled. " This is MY temple. MY rules!"

" But it's also mine!" Jay yelled back.

" NO, IT'S NOT! UNTIL YOUR STUPID MIND IS BACK TO YOUR DORKY SELF, THIS AIN'T YOUR TEMPLE!" she lashed out, and a powerful wind knocked him off his feet.

Jay scrambled to his feet, anger and confusion warring on his face. "You can't just decide that!" he shouted. "This place is just as much mine as it is yours!"

Mia's eyes blazed with fury, her fists clenched at her sides. "You don't remember anything, Jay! This temple, our parents, me... none of it matters to you because Ras twisted your mind!"

Ras stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "That's enough, Mia. You won't harm my warrior any further."

Mia floated higher, the air crackling with her elemental power. "He's not your warrior, Ras. He's my brother, and I'll do whatever it takes to bring him back."

Jay's eyes darted between Mia and Ras, the internal struggle evident in his expression. He felt torn, the loyalty to Ras clashing with the flickers of memories Mia was awakening.

Nya stepped forward, her voice steady. "Jay, you have to trust us. Remember the good times, the bond we all shared. Ras is manipulating you."

Jay's gaze softened for a moment, but then he shook his head, the darkness clouding his thoughts once more. "I can't... I don't know what to believe."

Cole, standing beside Nya, spoke up. "Believe in yourself, Jay. Deep down, you know the truth. We've been through so much together. Don't let Ras take that away."

Ras growled, his patience wearing thin. "Enough of this. Jay, come with me. Now."

But before Jay could move, Mia descended rapidly, landing between him and Ras. "No, Jay stays. And if you want him, you'll have to go through me."

Ras bared his teeth, his elemental power ( I mean, to me, it looks like he does) radiating ominously. "You think you can stop me, little girl?"

Mia smirked, her eyes glinting with determination. "I'm not just a little girl. I'm Mia Walker, and I fight for my family."

With a furious roar, Ras lunged at Mia, but she was ready. She met his attack head-on, their elemental powers clashing in a spectacular display of energy. The ground shook, and the air vibrated with the force of their battle.

As Mia and Ras fought, Nya, Cole, and Lloyd moved to protect Jay, forming a barrier between him and the danger. Sora piloted the plane, ready for a quick escape if needed.

"Mia!" Nya called out. "We need to get Jay out of here! We can't let Ras take him!"

Mia nodded, her face set in grim determination. "Go! I'll hold him off!"

Nya grabbed Jay's arm, pulling him toward the plane. "Come on, Jay. We have to go."

Jay resisted for a moment, his eyes locked on Mia. "But... Mia..."

"Go!" Mia shouted, her voice filled with resolve. "I'll be right behind you!"

Reluctantly, Jay allowed Nya to lead him to the plane. As they boarded, he cast one last glance back at Mia, a flicker of recognition in his eyes.

Sora took off, the plane ascending rapidly into the sky. Inside, Jay slumped into his seat, his mind a whirlwind of confusion and emotions.

"We'll get her back," Nya said firmly, squeezing his hand. "And we'll bring you back too, Jay. Just hold on a little longer."

Jay nodded slowly, his heart heavy. "I hope you're right."

A few minutes later, Mia joined them on the ground, battered and bloody but victorious. She landed softly on the plane's wing before stepping inside. "I'm fine," she said, brushing off their worried looks. "Ras, on the other hand, is gonna go through some serious damage."

Nya looked at her with a mix of exasperation and admiration. "Why am I surprised?" she muttered, shaking her head.

Without missing a beat, Mia struck the Gong of Peace she had brought with her. A soothing, harmonious sound filled the air, and the glow from the gong enveloped her. The cuts and bruises on her body began to fade, disappearing entirely within moments.

Cole stared, his jaw dropping. "How did you do that?!"

Mia smiled, though she still looked tired. "The Gong of Peace has the ability to heal injuries. It's one of its many powers."

Jay, still grappling with his conflicting emotions, watched in awe. "That's... incredible."

Mia turned to him, her expression softening. "It's just one of the things our parents wanted us to have. To protect and heal, not to hurt."

Nya placed a comforting hand on Jay's shoulder. "Do you remember any of this, Jay?"

He shook his head slowly, frustration evident on his face. "I don't... not clearly. But I feel like I should."

Mia stepped closer, her voice gentle. "It's okay, Jay. We're going to help you remember. We're going to get through this together."

Jay looked at her, his eyes searching for the truth in her words. "What if I can't remember? What if Ras did something to me that can't be undone?"

Lloyd stepped forward, his voice firm. "We'll find a way, Jay. No matter what it takes. You're part of our family, and we don't give up on each other."

Jay took a deep breath, nodding. "Alright. Let's do this."

Mia leaned on him and took in his scent.

It was just how she remembered.

It was also strong enough to drift her off into a fitful sleep.

In that fitful sleep, she yelled at Ras.

"What do you mean, 'the administration did it'?! We all know you did it! Why else did you find him, huh?"

Nya stroked her hair gently, trying to calm her down. "She's been through a lot," she said softly.

"I can tell," Jay replied, his eyes filled with concern. Then he turned to Nya. "And sorry about earlier."

"Sorry? What for?" Nya asked, tilting her head in confusion.

"Calling you a bad ninja, clearly not showing you any respect," Jay said, his voice heavy with guilt.

Mia stirred in her sleep, her face contorted with anger. "I hate you so much," she mumbled.

Jay was going to ask if she was talking to him when she muttered, "Ras."

Nya sighed, continuing to stroke Mia's hair. "She's been carrying a lot of anger towards Ras. It's been eating at her."

Jay sighed. " At this point, I don't know what's the truth and what's not."

Cole, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward. "We're with you, Jay. All the way."

Jay looked around at his friends, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "Thank you. I don't know what I'd do without you all."

Mia's breathing evened out as she continued to sleep, still leaning against Jay. He gently wrapped an arm around her, careful not to wake her. "We'll get through this," he whispered, more to himself than anyone else.

When Mia woke up, she felt an urgent need to release the tension that had been building inside her. She decided to go to the courtyard, where wooden training dummies stood waiting. She attacked them with ferocity, her movements a blur of raw power and emotion.

Jay, watching from a distance with the others, asked, "Is she always like that?"

Lloyd shook his head. "No. But since you disappeared in the merge and Nya's brother, Kai, went to Nether Space because of Ras, she's been like this. In truth, she loves you. A lot."

Arin nodded. "It's true. Up until we came here, she was stuck in her room, moping. We had no idea what to do."

Jay watched Mia's intense training, his heart aching for his sister. "Mia!" he called out.

Mia stopped and turned, her eyes wild and unfocused. When she saw Jay, her expression softened, and she ran to him. She threw her arms around him and began to sob, soaking his shirt with tears. But Jay didn't care. He held her tightly, whispering soothing words.

"It's okay, Mia. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."

Mia's sobs gradually subsided, and she pulled back slightly, looking up at him with red, tear-streaked eyes. "I was so scared, Jay. I thought I'd lost you forever."

Jay wiped away her tears. "I'm here now, and we're going to fix everything. I promise."

Nya, Lloyd, and Arin watched the siblings, their hearts warmed by the sight. Despite the chaos and danger that surrounded them, this moment of reunion was a beacon of hope.

"We'll get through this together," Nya said softly, placing a hand on Lloyd's shoulder.

Lloyd nodded. "Yeah, we will."

Then, Mia noticed what he was wearing. " Do you have a change of clothes?"

Jay shook his head, and Mia sighed.

" You're hopeless."

Jay raised his brows. " Says the one who didn't finish a story to take us up to a temple!"

Mia gave him a teasing smile. " Says the one who wields lightning and is a total goofball."

Jay chuckled at Mia's comment, feeling the tension ease a little. "Touché. I guess we all have our quirks."

Nya smiled, watching the sibling banter with a mix of amusement and relief. "It's good to see you both like this again."

Mia looked at Jay, her smile widening. "Yeah, it is. But seriously, you might want to consider borrowing some of Lloyd's clothes or something."

Lloyd laughed, rubbing his neck awkwardly. "I'm sure we can find something. We can't have Jay running around in those clothes forever."

Jay glanced down at his outfit, which was still a bit singed from the recent battle. "Fine, I'll borrow something. But only if I get to return the favor someday."

Mia smirked. "Deal. And in the meantime, let's get some rest and regroup. We've got a lot ahead of us, and we need to be ready."

As they made their way inside to find some new clothes for Jay and settle down, the mood was lighter. For now, the immediate danger had passed, and the bond between them was stronger than ever.

"How about we start by getting some food?" Nya suggested. "Everyone could use a good meal."

"Sounds perfect," Jay agreed, feeling a genuine sense of comfort for the first time in a while.

Mia then noticed his back. " Does Ras really need to advertise the Shadow Dojo logo?"

" Yea- Wait, what's a ' Shadow Dojo'?!"

" The place you find the Gong of Shattering."

" And what logo?"

Mia shook her head. " The Shadow Dojo's logo is a wolf on a moon or something. It's everywhere."

" But wait, I don't get something." Cole spoke up.

Mia turned to him. " Explain."

" For the gong of Shattering, you need a wolf mask for it to work. But for the Peace gong, you didn't need anything."

" Yeah, how did you make that work?" Jay asked

Mia sighed. " Seriously? You two are hopeless."

Jay raised his brow.

" For the Gong, you need special bracelets."

" But you're not wearing any!" Cole noted.

" Would you let me finish?!" Then, Mia continued, " BUT, this Gong was forged from Dragon Energy AND elemental powers. Specifically, SKY elements."

" So, we don't need bracelets to make it work on us?"

Mia shook her head. " No, Jay. We don't. Because this was made from wind and lightning, it will forever aid those two elements without the bracelets."

" But what if someone steals your elements?" Nya asked, cocking her head.

" It won't work. You don't need the element for it to work. You need to be the element's OWNER."

" OH! Because it can feel the connection to your parents! It KNOWS you're their kids!" Sora exclaimed.

"Exactly," Mia said, nodding in approval at Sora. "The Gong of Peace recognizes the bond and the essence of the elements tied to our family. As long as we hold the connection, it responds to us."

Jay looked thoughtful. "So, the Gong of Shattering needs a wolf mask because it must be attuned to a specific user or a specific type of power, but the Gong of Peace is inherently aligned with our elemental legacy."

"Pretty much," Mia confirmed. "The Shadow Dojo and its symbols were important for the Gong of Shattering. It's tied to that specific dojo's history and powers."

Nya, still trying to piece everything together, asked, "And what about the other gongs? Are they tied to specific places or symbols as well?"

Mia nodded. "Yes, each Gong is connected to a different aspect of elemental power or history. Some may need specific items or conditions to function, but others, like the Gong of Peace, are more about the intrinsic connection between the elements and their inheritors."

"Got it," Cole said, looking impressed. "So, we just need to figure out how to use the Gongs we have and find the others."

"Exactly," Mia agreed. "And to do that, we need to be prepared for whatever Ras throws at us next."

Jay gave Mia a grateful look. "Thanks for clarifying all of this. It helps a lot."

Mia gave him a small smile. "No problem. We're in this together."

Then, she saw the front of his shirt. " And why in the world is there a wolf on the front?!"

Jay looked down at his shirt, noticing the wolf logo emblazoned on the front. He frowned, then shot Mia an amused look. "Are you going to criticize all my clothes now?"

Mia tilted her head, her expression playful. "Pretty much. I mean, why a wolf? And dark blue? Blech. Blue is nice on you, but dark blue? Blue's the only color you wear, mostly."

Jay chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, I didn't think much of it. It's comfortable, and it was given to me by someone important."

Mia raised an eyebrow. "Important, huh? So it's not just about the color or the logo?"

Jay nodded. "Yeah, it has a bit of sentimental value. But if you're set on critiquing my wardrobe, I guess I should prepare for more of it."

Nya, joining in on the lighthearted exchange, smirked. "Looks like Mia's not holding back on fashion advice. You might want to brace yourself."

Mia grinned. "You know it. Just trying to help you look less like a walking advertisement for the Shadow Dojo."

Jay laughed, shaking his head. "Alright, alright. I'll try to keep that in mind. But don't expect me to start a fashion overhaul anytime soon."

Mia winked. "Oh, come on. A little change never hurt anyone."
