( I wrote this two years ago so don't judge)
" This goes here.... And that there.... Oh! I still need to clean the mussels." Mia turned to the door, opened it, and there laid two large buckets, filled with water and mussels.
" Time to clean them!" Mia stretched, sat down, and lifted two clothes from the shelf and laid them next to her. She lifted a mussel from the water, dried it, and sent it to a basket on the other side of the courtyard.
" I should really bring that closer to me." Mia mumbled, levitating it in the air and setting it down in front of her. She lifted the mussel, dried it, and set it down in the bucket. That's the way she cleaned her beach treasures.
It was peaceful. Birds chirped from the trees outside the wall, cherry blossoms floated in, giving off a wonderful aroma.
Then, it broke. Steps were pacing. Closer and closer came the pace of feet clinking the ground.
Clinking the ground? Mia looked up from her shells. That sounded like..... Metal.
There were only two people Mia knew that had metal feet- Zane and Pixel.
" Mia, speed up!" A voice called from behind Mia. A voice Mia knew all too well. Zane's.
Mia turned to face his metallic face.
" What's the situation?" She asked.
" It's Jay. We located him."
Mia's body shot up, her eyes gleaming with joy.
" You found him? Where is he? How is he? Where did you find him?"
Zane looked expressionless. He didn't speak.
" Oh, come on!" Mia exclaimed, her arms shooting up in exasperation. "Please tell me your sensors aren't acting up again! I need to know where he is and how he is doing!"
"No, nothing is wrong with my sensors. I'm doing fine. Simply put...... Jay has lost his memories."
Mia stared at Zane, then burst out laughing.
" I think I missed something." Mia said between fits of laughter. " There's no way my brother lost his memory."
Zane stared at Mia's face, and she stopped laughing.
" You're serious?"
Zane nodded.
" What? How? Where? Who did this?"
" Mia, calm down. Jay is being returned to the monastery and seems to be fine."
" Fine? FINE? He's lost his memory and you're telling me he's FINE?" Mia frantically fumbled with the buttons of her jacket and ran past Zane.
" Where are you going?" He asked.
" Finding my brother. If he's lost his memory, he's gonna remember. Even if I have to drill it into his thick brain."
" Please do not do that. Lloyd did that-"
" When you were the ice king, evil. Yes, I know. Jay told me the story. A month ago."
Mia hurried through the monastery, her mind racing with thoughts of her brother. She couldn't shake the image of Jay, confused and disoriented, his memories lost somewhere in the vast expanse of his mind. She had to find him, to bring him back, no matter what it took.
As she rounded a corner, Mia nearly collided with Lloyd, who was heading in the opposite direction. His green eyes widened in surprise as he caught sight of her.
"Mia, what's going on? Why the rush?" Lloyd asked, concern etched on his face.
"It's Jay. Zane found him, but... but he's lost his memories," Mia explained, her voice trembling with emotion.
Lloyd's expression darkened with worry. "Jay? Lost his memories? That's... that's terrible. Where is he?"
"He's being brought back to the monastery, but I can't just wait here while he's in trouble," Mia said determinedly.
Lloyd nodded understandingly. "I'll come with you. We'll find him together."
Mia felt a surge of gratitude toward Lloyd. Despite the gravity of the situation, she couldn't help but feel a sense of reassurance knowing that she wasn't alone in this.
Together, they made their way through the monastery, their footsteps echoing in the empty corridors. Mia's heart pounded with anticipation, each passing moment feeling like an eternity.
Finally, they reached the courtyard where Jay was being escorted by Zane and Pixel. Mia's breath caught in her throat as she saw her brother, his expression vacant and distant.
"Jay!" Mia called out, rushing forward to embrace him.
Jay looked at her with confusion, his eyes searching her face as if trying to grasp onto a memory that remained just out of reach.
"It's me, Mia. Your sister," she said softly, tears welling up in her eyes.
As Jay pushed Mia away and attempted to use his lightning power, Mia's heart sank. She dodged just in time, narrowly avoiding the crackling energy that erupted from Jay's hands. But the lightning struck the roof of the monastery instead, sending debris flying in all directions.
"Mia, look out!" Lloyd shouted, pulling her out of harm's way as chunks of stone rained down around them.
Mia's mind raced as she watched Jay, her brother, lost and confused, unleashing destructive power without restraint. She knew she had to reach him, to break through whatever barrier had formed in his mind and bring him back to himself.
Ignoring the danger, Mia stepped forward, her eyes locked on Jay's.
"Jay, please," she pleaded, her voice trembling with emotion. "It's me, your sister. Remember who you are."
But Jay's expression remained blank, his eyes distant and unfocused. It was as if he was trapped in a nightmare from which he couldn't awaken.
Suddenly, a voice cut through the chaos. It was Master Wu, his wise presence commanding attention even in the midst of turmoil.
"Jay, you must calm your mind," Master Wu said firmly, his voice carrying the weight of authority. "Remember who you are. You are not defined by your powers, but by the strength of your spirit."
" Old man, why are you talking like that to me?" Jay said, his brows furrowing.
"Jay, that is not appropriate," Lloyd interjected firmly, his voice tinged with disappointment.
But Jay simply smirked, seemingly unfazed by Lloyd's reprimand. "Baby, don't act like that," he replied casually, his tone laced with a hint of arrogance.
Mia had to stifle a laugh at Jay's audacity, even in the midst of such a serious situation. She exchanged a bewildered glance with Lloyd, who looked just as perplexed as she felt.
Master Wu remained silent, his gaze still fixed on Jay with an intensity that made Mia shiver. Something about his demeanor felt off, as if he was struggling with something beyond their understanding.
As the awkward silence stretched on, Mia couldn't help but feel a sense of unease settle over the courtyard. Jay's flippant attitude clashed sharply with the gravity of the situation, and Mia couldn't shake the feeling that something was very wrong.
And then it hit her like a bolt of lightning.
"Wait a minute," Mia said slowly, her mind racing with realization. "Jay doesn't remember anything, but he just called Master Wu... an old man?"
" It's a coincidence." Lloyd shrugged.
Jay said, " Your kung fu panda kept hitting me."
Lloyd struggled to hold back his laughter, his eyes watering as he tried to speak. "Jay, that's not appropriate," he managed to say between chuckles.
Mia collapsed into a fit of giggles, barely able to speak. "Oh, I can't!"
Jay, looking genuinely puzzled, asked, "What's so funny? Is it a kung fu panda in his bathing suit?"
This sent Lloyd and Mia into further hysterics, their laughter echoing through the courtyard.
Master Wu, however, remained calm and composed, standing amidst the laughter with an air of serenity. "Jay, we must focus. Your memory loss is serious," he reminded gently.
Jay, attempting to maintain his cool facade, replied, "Yeah, yeah, old man. I got it."
Mia, still giggling, chimed in, "Remember, Jay, Master Wu isn't actually a panda."
Jay waved her off nonchalantly. "Whatever you say, baby."
Lloyd, trying to compose himself, interjected, "Jay, we have more important matters to attend to."
But Jay, seemingly unfazed, glanced around casually. "Like what? Oh, look, there's a fire. Baby, go sleep and drink a bottle."
This absurd remark sent Lloyd and Mia bursting into laughter once again, unable to contain themselves.
Master Wu, though amused by the antics of his students, maintained his composure. "Jay, we need to focus on finding a solution to your memory loss," he reminded, his voice calm but firm.
Jay nodded in acknowledgment. "Yeah, yeah, I got it, old man. But first, let's have some fun."
As Mia watched Jay's antics with a mix of confusion and concern, she couldn't help but voice her thoughts. "Why is he doing this?" she asked, her laughter subsiding slightly.
Lloyd, still trying to stifle his chuckles, shrugged in response. "I guess because he lost his memory. He doesn't know how to control his... um... humor," he managed to explain between breaths.
Just then, Jay piped up with another unexpected question, "Where's my wife?"
At that moment, Cole and Kai emerged from the training hall, catching sight of the peculiar scene unfolding before them. Jay's eyes lit up as he spotted Cole, and he exclaimed, "Babe!"
Cole, looking utterly confused, raised an eyebrow in disbelief. Kai, equally puzzled, chimed in, "What?"
Mia, seizing the opportunity to clarify the situation, explained, "He lost his memory and thinks you are his wife, Cole."
Cole shook his head, a bemused smile playing on his lips. "It shows," he remarked dryly, his tone tinged with amusement as he found himself waltzing around the courtyard.
" We should let him sleep. Maybe he'll be his normal self in the morning." Mia said hopefully. They all nodded and helped Jay back to his room, then retreated to their own and slept peacefully, praying the Jay they knew and loved would be back to his normal character in the morning.

As soon as she woke up, Mia sat at the edge of Jay's bed, a pile of photographs scattered in front of her. Jay, reclining against the pillows, regarded her with a bemused expression.
"What's with all the pictures, little girl?" Jay asked, his tone playful yet tinged with confusion.
Mia sighed, frustration bubbling up within her. "Jay, these aren't just pictures. They're memories," she explained, her voice tinged with exasperation.
Jay furrowed his brow, his gaze shifting to the photographs scattered across the bedspread. "Memories?" he echoed, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
Mia nodded, picking up a photograph and holding it out to him. "Look," she urged, her heart pounding with anticipation. "This is us, Jay. Remember?"
Jay took the photograph from her outstretched hand, his eyes scanning the image. "Hmm," he murmured, his expression unreadable.
But as Mia watched him, she saw no flicker of recognition in his eyes. Her heart sank, a sense of helplessness washing over her.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" Jay asked, breaking the silence. His tone was light, but there was a hint of confusion in his voice.
Mia swallowed back her disappointment, forcing a smile. "I just want you to remember, Jay. Remember who we are, who you are," she said softly.
Before Jay could respond, the door swung open, and Lloyd entered the room, his expression a mix of concern and curiosity.
"Really?" Lloyd exclaimed, his gaze shifting between Mia and Jay. "Still no luck?"
Mia shook her head, her frustration evident. "No, he still doesn't remember anything," she admitted, her voice tinged with disappointment.
Lloyd stepped closer, his brow furrowed with concern. "Jay, come on," he urged, his tone pleading. "You have to remember. We're your friends, your family."
Jay looked between Mia and Lloyd, his expression a mixture of confusion and frustration. "I'm sorry," he said finally, his voice tinged with regret. "I just... I don't remember."
Mia felt a pang of sadness at Jay's words, the weight of their situation pressing down on her shoulders. But despite the uncertainty and the frustration, she refused to give up hope.
"We'll figure this out, Jay," she said firmly, her voice tinged with determination. "Together."
Lloyd nodded in agreement, his expression resolute. "That's right," he said, his voice firm. "We won't rest until we find a way to bring back your memories."
Just then, they heard the unmistakable sound of a baby crying echoing through the monastery. Without hesitation, Lloyd and Mia dashed out of Jay's room and hurried down the corridor, following the sound to its source.
As they reached the room from which the cries emanated, they pushed open the door to find a surprising sight: a baby lying in Cole's bed, tears streaming down his tiny face.
Lloyd's eyes widened in astonishment as he took in the scene before him. "What in the world..." he trailed off, his voice filled with disbelief.
Mia rushed forward, her maternal instincts kicking in as she scooped up the crying infant. "It's Cole," she exclaimed, her voice tinged with disbelief. "But how?"
Lloyd shook his head, his expression a mixture of confusion and wonder. "I have no idea," he admitted, his voice tinged with awe.
As Mia rocked the baby in her arms, trying to soothe his cries, Lloyd stepped closer, his gaze fixed on the tiny bundle before them. "This is... unexpected," he remarked, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
Mia nodded in agreement, her mind racing with questions. "But how did Cole turn into a baby?" she wondered aloud, her voice tinged with bewilderment.
Lloyd shrugged, his brow furrowed with concern. "I have no idea," he admitted, his tone tinged with uncertainty.
Then, they heard another wail. And another! Soon, Cole, Kai, Nya, and Zane, were all wailing and crying as Lloyd and Mia rocked them.
Mia and Lloyd exchanged worried glances. The situation had gone from strange to downright chaotic in a matter of moments.
"We need to calm them down," Lloyd said, his voice tinged with concern as he rocked Kai and Nya in his arms.
Mia nodded in agreement, her mind racing with thoughts of what to do next. "First things first, we need to feed them," she replied, her voice determined. "We have to find baby milk somehow."
With determination fueling their actions, Mia and Lloyd began to search the room frantically, scouring every nook and cranny in search of the essential supplies they needed.
But as they rummaged through drawers and cabinets, Mia couldn't help but feel a pang of frustration. "I told you all not to throw away the baby powder," she grumbled, her voice tinged with annoyance. "Now we're in this mess."
Lloyd glanced over at Mia, a sheepish expression on his face. "I'm sorry, Mia," he said, his voice apologetic. "We should have listened to you."
But Mia shook her head, her frustration melting away as she focused on the task at hand. "It's okay," she replied, her voice softening. "We'll figure this out together."
Suddenly, Lloyd spotted a small container tucked away in the corner of the room. With a triumphant shout, he exclaimed, "Look! Milk!"
Mia's eyes widened in relief as she rushed over to inspect the container. "We have milk!" she echoed, her voice filled with joy as she reached for the container.
Unable to contain his excitement, Lloyd let out a happy noise and cheered, "WE HAVE MILK!"
In the midst of their jubilation, Mia found herself overcome with gratitude and impulsively kissed Lloyd on the cheek. But as soon as the kiss left her lips, she blushed furiously and stammered, "Um, forget I just did that."
Lloyd's eyes widened in surprise, a faint blush coloring his cheeks as he processed Mia's unexpected gesture. But before he could respond, they were interrupted by the sound of their friends' cries growing louder, reminding them of the task at hand.
With a sheepish smile, Mia quickly turned her attention back to the task of preparing the milk for their friends, her cheeks still flushed with embarrassment. And as they worked together to care for their friends, Mia couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and gratitude for the bond they shared, even in the midst of chaos.
As Mia and Lloyd fed their friends with the milk, the cries began to subside, replaced by contented sighs and soft coos. However, Mia's relief was short-lived as she realized the next challenge they faced.
"Diaper time!" Mia exclaimed, her voice tinged with urgency as she scanned the room. "Where are the diapers? Do we even have diapers?"
Lloyd's expression mirrored Mia's concern as he shook his head. "No, of course not! We're ninja!" he replied, a note of frustration in his voice. "But I guess we'll have to improvise."
With a determined look in his eyes, Lloyd reached for the masks that their friends had been wearing before their transformation. "We'll just have to use their masks," he declared, his voice resolute.
Mia hesitated for a moment, unsure about the unconventional solution. But as she watched Lloyd carefully wrap a mask around one of their friends, she realized that they had no other choice.
"Okay," Mia agreed reluctantly, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "Let's get to work."
As Mia and Lloyd finished attending to their friends, the door creaked open, and Master Wu entered the room, his wise eyes surveying the scene before him with a mixture of curiosity and concern.
"What is the meaning of this?" Master Wu asked, his voice calm but firm as he took in the sight of the transformed ninja and the makeshift diapers made from their masks.
Mia and Lloyd exchanged nervous glances, unsure of how to explain the situation to their wise mentor.
"Master Wu, it's... it's a long story," Mia began, her voice tinged with uncertainty as she struggled to find the right words.
But before she could continue, Master Wu held up a hand, his expression unreadable. "There is no need to explain," he said calmly. "I can see that something unusual has occurred."
Mia and Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for Master Wu's understanding.
"However," Master Wu continued, his tone serious, "we must find a way to reverse this transformation and restore our friends to their true selves."
Mia nodded in agreement, her determination renewed by Master Wu's words. "Yes, Master Wu," she replied, her voice tinged with determination. "We will do whatever it takes to bring our friends back."
Master Wu nodded approvingly. " You should look for clues. Try to figure out why things are like this." He said.
Lloyd and Mia nodded, and sat down to rethink.
Master Wu helped out.
" Mia, Lloyd, did you see anything out of the ordinary? Did anywhere go out somewhere?"
" As a matter of fact, yes, Master. Late at night, Jay went to the market to get juice." Mia said.
Then she got a sinking feeling. She ran to the kitchen, burst the fridge open, and took out the juice bottle and read the ingredients.
" Oh, no." She whispered.
" What? What happened?" Lloyd asked, walking into the kitchen.
" Jay forgot to check the label! This contains the juice of wild Elderberry!"
" Wait, you mean Elderberry? As in ELDERBERRY? As in-"
" Elderberry. Yes, Lloyd."
" Did the others drink it, Lloyd?" Master Wu asked calmly, setting foot into the kitchen.
Lloyd nodded, and Mia banged her head along the wall.
" The others drank it, not knowing it had elderberries, and now they're young!" Mia mumbled.
Master Wu listened attentively as Mia explained their discovery, his expression grave as he processed the information.
"Elderberry," he murmured, his voice filled with concern. "A powerful herb with transformative properties."
Mia nodded, her heart sinking as she realized the gravity of their situation. "Yes, Master Wu. And it seems that Jay inadvertently bought juice containing wild elderberry."
Lloyd's eyes widened in realization as he connected the dots. "So the juice caused this transformation?" he asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
Master Wu nodded solemnly. "It would seem so," he replied. "But now that we know the source of the problem, we must find a way to reverse its effects."
Mia's mind raced with possibilities as she considered their next steps. "But how do we reverse the effects of elderberry?" she wondered aloud, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Master Wu placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We will find a way, Mia," he said firmly. "But first, we must gather more information. Were there any other ingredients in the juice that may have contributed to this transformation?"
Mia's brow furrowed as she racked her brain, trying to remember the details of the juice bottle's label. "I... I'm not sure," she admitted, her voice tinged with frustration. "But I'll go check."
With renewed determination, Mia hurried back to the kitchen, searching through the cabinets and drawers in search of the juice bottle. Finally, she found it tucked away in the corner of the fridge, its label still intact.
Carefully, Mia examined the label, her heart sinking as she read the list of ingredients. "There are no other unusual ingredients," she reported, her voice tinged with disappointment. "Just elderberry juice."
Master Wu nodded thoughtfully, his wise eyes scanning the label. "Very well," he said calmly. "Then our next step is clear. We must find a way to counteract the effects of the elderberry and restore our friends to their true selves."
As Mia, Lloyd, and Master Wu delved into the scrolls, their brows furrowed in concentration as they muttered ancient words and phrases, seeking clues to counteract the effects of the elderberry.
But their focus was shattered by the sound of the television blaring from the living room, where the transformed ninja babies were watching cartoons.
"I can't concentrate with all this noise!" Mia exclaimed, her frustration evident as she pushed away from the scrolls and stood up.
With determined strides, Mia marched back to the living room, where the noise was coming from. "Keep it down!" she called out, her voice firm.
The ninja babies looked up at Mia with wide eyes, momentarily stunned by her sudden appearance and stern tone.
Mia's expression softened as she realized they were just innocent babies caught in an unusual situation. "Sorry, babies," she said more gently, her voice tinged with apology. "But we need to focus if we're going to fix this."
With a determined look, Mia turned down the volume of the television, silencing the noise that had been disrupting their efforts to find a solution.
Mia's heart sank as she approached Lloyd and Master Wu, their expressions serious as they held the scroll between them.
"What did you find?" she asked, her voice tinged with anticipation as she joined them.
Lloyd's brow furrowed as he read aloud from the scroll. "It says here that the effects of the elderberry may take a few days to wear off," he explained, his voice tinged with disappointment.
Mia's shoulders slumped in defeat as she processed the information. "A few days?" she echoed, her voice filled with frustration. "But we can't wait that long! Our friends are depending on us."
Master Wu placed a reassuring hand on Mia's shoulder, his wise eyes meeting hers. "Patience, Mia," he said calmly. "We must trust that time will resolve this situation."
Mia nodded, her determination reignited by Master Wu's words. "You're right," she replied, her voice filled with resolve. "We won't give up hope. We'll do everything we can to make sure our friends are okay in the meantime."
" In the meantime, we should go to bed." Lloyd announced, turning to walk out.
" This might be awkward, but I think you two should sleep together with the babies." Master Wu said, his voice calm.
Mia and Lloyd exchanged surprised glances at Master Wu's suggestion, but they quickly realized the wisdom in his words. With the babies in their transformed state, they would need constant care and attention throughout the night.
"Of course, Master Wu," Mia replied, her voice tinged with gratitude for his guidance. "We'll make sure the babies are taken care of."
Lloyd nodded in agreement, his expression serious as he processed the responsibility that lay before them. "We'll do whatever it takes to ensure their safety," he vowed, his voice filled with determination.
With that, Mia and Lloyd followed Master Wu's lead, gathering the transformed ninja babies and preparing to spend the night together. Despite the unusual circumstances, they knew that they would face the challenges ahead as a team, united in their determination to care for their friends and bring them back to their true selves.

Mia's eyes snapped open as she heard a faint cough coming from beside her. Instantly alert, she turned to see Kai, his tiny form curled up and trembling, his forehead burning with fever.
Panic surged through Mia as she reached out to touch Kai's forehead, confirming her worst fears. "Lloyd," she whispered urgently, shaking him awake. "It's Kai. He's burning up."
Lloyd's eyes flew open at Mia's words, his expression mirroring her concern as he took in the sight of Kai's feverish state. "We need to cool him down," he said, his voice tinged with urgency.
Mia nodded in agreement, her heart pounding with fear for their friend. "Let's go to Master Wu," she urged, already moving towards the door.
Together, they rushed through the monastery, their footsteps echoing through the quiet corridors until they reached Master Wu's study.
Without pausing to knock, Lloyd pushed open the door and entered the room, where Master Wu sat in deep meditation.
"Master Wu," Lloyd called out urgently, his voice breaking the silence of the room.
Master Wu's eyes fluttered open, his serene expression giving way to concern as he sensed the urgency in Lloyd's voice.
"Mia, Lloyd, what is it?" Master Wu asked calmly, rising from his meditation mat.
Mia stepped forward, her voice trembling with fear. "Kai's feverish," she blurted out, her words hanging heavy in the air.
Master Wu's brow furrowed with concern as he processed the information. "Take me to him," he said firmly, his voice steady with resolve.
With Master Wu leading the way, Mia and Lloyd hurried back to Kai's side, their hearts heavy with worry for their friend.
As they reached Kai's bedside, Master Wu's wise eyes assessed the situation, his mind already calculating the best course of action.
"We must act quickly," he said, his voice firm. "But first, we must lower his temperature."
Minutes passed, and Kai still remained feverish.
"Just cool down! Would you please!" Mia exclaimed, her voice tinged with anger as she directed her words at Kai's fever.
With a determined flick of her wrist, Mia summoned a gentle gust of wind, directing it towards Kai in an effort to lower his temperature. The breeze caressed his feverish skin, offering a momentary respite from the heat.
But despite her efforts, Kai's condition remained unchanged, his fever stubbornly persistent.
"We should get him to a doctor," Lloyd suggested, his voice calm but firm as he assessed the situation.
Mia nodded in agreement, her frustration giving way to a sense of urgency. "You're right," she replied, her voice tinged with concern. "We can't help him here. He needs medical attention."
Then, Mia looked down at Kai's current outfit, realizing it was damp with sweat from his fever.
"Does anyone know how to change a baby's outfit?" Mia asked, her voice tinged with concern. "Or do we have any other outfits?"
Lloyd glanced around the room, his eyes scanning the shelves and drawers for any sign of spare clothing. After a moment of searching, his eyes lit up as he found a small dress tucked away in a corner.
"I found this," Lloyd said, holding up the dress for Mia to see.
Mia hesitated for a moment, her mind racing with worry for Kai. But as she looked at the dress in Lloyd's hands, she realized that they needed to prioritize Kai's comfort above all else.
"It'll have to do," Mia replied, her voice determined as she reached for the dress. "We can't leave him in wet clothes while we take him to the doctor."
Together, Mia and Lloyd carefully changed Kai into the dress, their movements gentle and precise as they ensured his comfort.
As they finished dressing him, Mia brushed Kai's hair and placed a clip in it, a small gesture of care and affection.
Lloyd couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. "Kai would be so angry if he knew you made him into a girl," he remarked teasingly.
Mia smiled weakly at Lloyd's comment, her heart heavy with worry for their friend. "I know," she replied softly. "But right now, all that matters is getting him the help he needs."
As Mia and Lloyd carefully placed Kai in the stroller, ready to take him to the doctor's office, they pushed him through the monastery towards the gate. However, their path was soon obstructed by a daunting sight - a long flight of stairs leading down from the monastery.
Mia's brows furrowed in confusion as she glanced at the stairs, her heart sinking at the thought of navigating such a treacherous descent with Kai in tow.
"Why are we so high up?" Mia wondered aloud, her voice tinged with frustration as she surveyed the steep steps before them.
Lloyd shook his head, equally perplexed by their predicament. "I don't know," he admitted, his voice filled with uncertainty. "But we need to get Kai to the doctor as quickly as possible."
With a determined look in her eyes, Mia took a deep breath, summoning her elemental powers to create a gust of wind beneath them.
"Hold on tight," Mia instructed, her voice filled with determination as she directed the wind to lift the stroller and carry them down the stairs.
As the wind swept beneath them, lifting the stroller off the ground, Mia and Lloyd clung to the handles tightly, their hearts racing with adrenaline as they descended the stairs with ease.
With each step they took, Mia felt a sense of relief wash over her, grateful for her elemental abilities that allowed them to navigate the stairs safely.
And as they reached the bottom of the stairs, Mia slowed the gust of wind, gently setting the stroller back on solid ground.
As Mia and Lloyd burst into the doctor's office, they were met with the familiar sight of Misako, Lloyd's mother, who was already attending to another patient.
"Hi, mom," Lloyd greeted, his voice laced with urgency. "Kai's sick."
Misako turned to face them, her expression shifting from surprise to concern as she took in Kai's feverish state. "Why is he wearing a dress?" she asked, her voice tinged with confusion.
Before Lloyd could respond, Kai looked up at Misako and began to wail, his cries filling the room with a sense of urgency.
"He's loud!" Lloyd exclaimed, his voice rising above Kai's cries as he attempted to soothe his friend.
Misako's brow furrowed with concern as she gestured for them to bring Kai to the examination room. "Bring him in here," she instructed, her voice calm but firm.
As they moved to follow Misako's orders, Mia felt a wave of dizziness wash over her, her head spinning with the intensity of the situation. Unable to keep up with the chaos unfolding around her, she sank to the ground, her vision blurring as she struggled to stay upright.
Seeing Mia's distress, Lloyd hurried to her side, his concern evident as he sat down beside her.
"Mia, are you okay?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.
Misako, noticing Mia's condition, quickly intervened, instructing Lloyd to fetch her some juice.
But Mia shook her head, her voice filled with determination. "No," she protested weakly, her focus fixed on Kai. "Focus on Kai."
As Misako meticulously examined Kai, Mia watched with bated breath, her heart pounding with anxiety as she awaited the results of the examination.
Kai's smile when he saw Mia brought a glimmer of relief to her worried heart, and she couldn't help but return the smile, feeling a sense of warmth wash over her.
"Looks like we're his mom and dad," Mia remarked softly, her voice tinged with affection as she gazed down at Kai.
Lloyd nodded in agreement, his expression thoughtful. "Like Cole and Jay were when Master Wu became a baby," he added, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.
Mia raised her brows at Lloyd's comment, a flicker of amusement crossing her features at the comparison.
Before they could dwell on the moment further, Misako's voice cut them off.
" He needs surgery."
" SURGERY?!" Mia exclaimed, grabbing the counter.
"Just a small one," Misako reassured, her voice calm but firm as she attempted to allay Mia's fears.
"A small one is still one," Mia replied, her voice trembling with anxiety as she struggled to come to terms with the news.
Lloyd nodded sympathetically as Mia expressed her fear of surgeries. "She's scared of surgeries," he confirmed, his voice soft with understanding.
"I think everyone knows that," Mia admitted, her tone filled with vulnerability. "But still, Mommy needs to be there. And so does Daddy."
Lloyd's gaze softened as he looked at Mia, a sense of reassurance in his eyes. "We'll be there for Kai," he promised, his voice steady despite the late hour. "No matter what."
Mia offered him a grateful smile, her heart swelling with appreciation for his unwavering support. "Thank you, Lloyd," she said softly, her voice filled with emotion.
Lloyd chuckled softly, a hint of disbelief in his tone. "Great. It's twelve in the night and I'm already a dad," he remarked, a touch of humor in his words.
As Misako ushered them into the room, Mia's anxiety intensified, her heart pounding with worry for Kai. Lloyd gently guided her to a chair, his reassuring words offering a momentary sense of comfort.
"Don't worry," Lloyd said softly, his voice filled with empathy. "We'll get through this together."
But before Mia could respond, Kai's cries pierced the air once again, filling the room with urgency. Without hesitation, Mia rushed to his side, determined to comfort him in any way she could.
"Here I am, buddy," Mia said soothingly, her voice filled with tenderness as she tried to calm Kai's distress. "Look at me! I'm not sad! I'm not crying!"
But despite her efforts, Kai's cries continued unabated, his distress palpable as he struggled to find solace.
Mia's heart ached at the sight of her friend in pain, her own emotions threatening to overwhelm her. With a deep breath, she resolved to stay strong for Kai, determined to offer him the comfort and support he needed in his time of need.
"Fine," Mia whispered, her voice barely audible over Kai's cries. "This is only between us."
"Shine little glow-worm, glimmer glimmer,
Hey there, don't get dimmer dimmer.
Glow little glow-worm, glow and glimmer,
Swim through the sea of night, little swimmer.
Shine! Glow little glow-worm, glow and glimmer,
Swim through the sea of night, little swimmer.
Shine! Light up you little 'ol bug of lightning,
When you gotta glow you glimmer glimmer."
" You sound awful." Lloyd announced when Mia finished.
" Of course I do! Cole was the one who sang it to me!" Mia said, turning to Lloyd matter-of-fact.
Lloyd chuckled softly at Mia's response, a fond smile playing on his lips. "Fair point," he conceded, his voice tinged with amusement. "But I think Kai appreciated the effort nonetheless."
" Mia, I would suggest you close your eyes for the next part." Misako interrupted gently.
Mia's curiosity piqued at Misako's cryptic warning. "Why?" she inquired, her brow furrowing with confusion.
But before Misako could respond, Mia's eyes fell upon what was in Misako's hands, and her expression shifted from confusion to understanding. Small. Sharp. Some type of liquid.
" You know, I think I'll walk out right now while you do this, and we'll go from there." Mia didn't wait for a reply as she barged out of the room and ran into the next empty room.
Alone in the room, Mia's thoughts turned to the absurdity of the situation. She couldn't help but laugh at the mental image of Master Wu being surrounded by babies, the stoic ninja master reduced to the role of a caretaker.
But her moment of levity was interrupted by the buzzing of her phone. With a puzzled expression, Mia glanced at the caller ID and saw that it was Master Wu.
With a mix of amusement and trepidation, Mia answered the call. "Hello?"
"Mia," Master Wu's voice came through the phone, filled with urgency. "You need to come back. It's chaos here."
Mia couldn't help but chuckle at the irony of the situation. "What's wrong, Master Wu?"
"Cole! Cut it out! I did not raise you to bite!" Master Wu's voice sounded exasperated, punctuated by the sounds of commotion in the background.
Mia couldn't contain her laughter at the thought of Master Wu reprimanding Cole like a misbehaving child. "I'll be right there, Master Wu," she promised between giggles, already making her way back to the monastery.
When she arrived, it was utter chaos! Nya and Zane were freezing water in the yard, Jay was diving into the mussel water. Worst of all, when Mia had finally found her way inside, Cole and Master Wu were having a fight.
" Cole, release your teeth from my hand right at once!" Master Wu commanded.
Mia couldn't believe her eyes as she watched the chaotic scene unfolding before her. Nya and Zane freezing water, Jay diving into mussel water, and Cole and Master Wu engaged in an absurd struggle.
"Cole, release your teeth from my hand right at once!" Master Wu's command echoed through the room, his voice filled with exasperation.
Mia approached the scene, and she couldn't help but shake her head in disbelief. "What in the world is going on here?" she exclaimed, her voice laced with incredulity.
Master Wu shot Mia a grateful glance, clearly relieved to see her. "Mia, please help me with Cole," he implored, his voice strained with frustration.
Mia nodded in understanding, her mind racing as she tried to figure out how to defuse the situation. With a determined look, she turned to Cole, who was still clinging stubbornly to Master Wu's hand.
"Cole, let go," Mia commanded firmly, her voice brooking no argument.
Cole hesitated for a moment, his gaze flickering between Mia and Master Wu. And then, with a resigned sigh, he released his grip, allowing Master Wu to pull his hand free.
"Thank you, Mia," Master Wu said gratefully, rubbing his hand where Cole's teeth had left their mark.
Mia gathered all the babies, careful to handle them with gentle hands, and led them to the tub. With practiced ease, she began to strip their clothes off, humming a soothing melody to keep them calm.
As she worked, Mia couldn't help but marvel at the sight of her friends transformed into infants. It was a surreal experience, seeing them in such a vulnerable state, but Mia was determined to care for them with the same love and dedication they had always shown her.
Once the babies were undressed, Mia carefully lowered them into the warm water, making sure to support their heads and bodies as they splashed and giggled in delight.
Mia gently lifted each baby out of the warm water, wrapping them snugly in fluffy towels to dry them off. With practiced hands, she carefully dried their tiny bodies, making sure to pay extra attention to their delicate skin.
Once they were dry, Mia selected soft, comfortable clothes for each baby, humming softly as she dressed them one by one. "There we go, all nice and cozy," she murmured, smiling as she admired her handiwork.
With the babies dressed and comfortable, Mia carried them to the kitchen, where she had prepared bowls of applesauce for them. "Alright, little ones, time for some yummy applesauce," she announced cheerfully, her voice filled with warmth and affection.
She carefully spooned the applesauce into small bowls, making sure to blow on each spoonful to cool it down before offering it to the babies. "Here you go, open wide," she cooed, gently feeding each baby as they eagerly gobbled up the sweet treat.
Master Wu's voice cut through the bustling kitchen, drawing everyone's attention. "It's Lloyd," he announced, a hint of relief evident in his tone. "The surgery was a success."
Mia's eyes widened with relief, a smile spreading across her face. "Good," she exclaimed, her voice filled with genuine happiness. "Tell him to bring Kai home."
Master Wu nodded in acknowledgment before turning to relay the message to Lloyd. Within minutes, Lloyd returned, cradling Kai in his arms as they made their way home.
"Kai!" Mia exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she scooped him up into a warm hug.
"Someone missed Kai, didn't they?" Lloyd remarked with a smile, his gaze softening as he watched Mia embrace their friend.
Then, cries filled the air.
"Bedtime, everyone!" Mia declared, her voice filled with warmth and affection. "Time for Mama and Dada to tuck you all in."
With gentle hands and loving words, Mia and Lloyd tucked each of their friends into bed, ensuring they were comfortable and safe. As they whispered words of reassurance and kissed them goodnight, the room was filled with a sense of peace and contentment.
Once the babies were finally asleep, Mia and Lloyd retreated to Mia's room to discuss their next steps. Sitting side by side on the bed, they exchanged tired but determined glances, ready to tackle whatever challenges lay ahead.
"We should take the rest to your mom tomorrow," Mia suggested, her voice filled with concern. "We need to make sure they're okay."
Lloyd nodded in agreement, his expression reflecting the same sense of urgency. "You're right," he replied, his voice tinged with determination. "Mom will know what to do."
Just as Mia and Lloyd began to drift off to sleep, they were startled awake by a gentle knock on the door. With a groan, Mia rubbed her eyes, her sleep-addled mind struggling to comprehend the interruption.
"Who could that be at this hour?" Lloyd mumbled, his voice thick with exhaustion as he sat up in bed.
Mia shrugged, pushing back the covers and swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. With a weary sigh, she padded over to the door and opened it, revealing Master Wu standing in the dimly lit hallway.
"Master Wu? What's wrong?" Mia asked, her voice laced with concern as she took in the solemn expression on his face.
Master Wu's eyes held a hint of urgency as he spoke. "I apologize for the disturbance, but there is something you need to see," he said cryptically.
With a sense of trepidation, Mia and Lloyd followed Master Wu down the quiet corridors of the monastery, their footsteps echoing in the silence of the night. Their minds raced with questions, but Master Wu remained silent, his demeanor grave as he led them to their destination.
As they reached the end of the hallway, Master Wu paused before a door, his hand resting on the handle. With a solemn nod, he pushed the door open, revealing a scene that left Mia and Lloyd speechless.
Before them stood a figure, cloaked in darkness, their features obscured by shadows. Mia's heart pounded in her chest as she struggled to make sense of what she was seeing.
And then, as if sensing their presence, the figure turned to face them, and Mia's blood ran cold as she came face to face with the unmistakable gaze of their enemy.
As Garmadon stood before them, cloaked in darkness, Mia's initial fear gave way to surprise and confusion. It wasn't the menacing villain they had expected, but rather Lloyd's father, Garmadon, wearing a cloak to shield himself from the cold night air.
"It's cold outside," Garmadon explained simply, his voice low and gravelly.
Lloyd's eyes widened in disbelief as he took in the sight of his father. Without hesitation, he rushed forward and enveloped Garmadon in a tight hug, his emotions swirling as he reunited with the man who had once been his greatest adversary.
Mia stepped forward, offering a polite greeting. "Hi, Mr. Garmadon," she said, her tone polite but guarded.
Garmadon acknowledged her with a nod, his gaze lingering on Mia for a moment longer than necessary. "You have good taste in girls, Lloyd," he remarked with a faint hint of amusement.
Then, as if to dispel the tension, Garmadon reached into the folds of his cloak and produced a small object. It was a leaf, simple yet strangely significant.
"I came to give you this," Garmadon explained, holding out the leaf to Lloyd. "It reminded me of you."
Lloyd accepted the leaf with a puzzled expression, turning it over in his hands as he tried to comprehend its significance.
Master Wu, ever observant, interjected with a question. "Brother, what happened?" he inquired, his tone tinged with curiosity.
Garmadon's expression remained inscrutable as he responded, "Nothing, brother," he replied cryptically, a hint of his former self shining through in his enigmatic smile.
Mia couldn't help but interject with a playful jab. "You really need to figure out another smile," she quipped, a small smile playing on her lips as she teased Garmadon.
As cries erupted from the babies, disrupting the lighthearted atmosphere, Garmadon couldn't help but comment on the unexpected situation. "Wow, aren't you guys a bit too young to be married and have kids?" he remarked, his tone playful but pointed.
Lloyd and Mia exchanged a knowing look, their expressions a mix of amusement and exasperation at Garmadon's teasing. Master Wu joined in the laughter, finding humor in the situation as well.
But Garmadon wasn't finished yet. "Oh, I know!" he exclaimed suddenly, his eyes lighting up with mischief. "Let's plan a wedding! I'll get cake and gifts and all the other good stuff."
Master Wu chimed in, his own sense of humor evident in his suggestion. "And I'll get a stroller," he added with a chuckle.
Mia shot Lloyd a look that clearly conveyed her thoughts on the matter: "Your dad and uncle are very annoying." Lloyd couldn't help but suppress a laugh at her expression, knowing all too well the truth behind her silent communication.
Exhausted from the events of the evening, Garmadon bid his farewells and departed, leaving Mia, Lloyd, and Master Wu to collapse onto the couch in the quiet of the monastery. The weight of the night's events pressed heavily upon them as they sought solace in the embrace of sleep.
As they drifted into a fitful slumber, the monastery seemed to rock with the weight of their combined exhaustion, the silence broken only by the occasional creaking of the wooden beams and the gentle rustle of leaves outside.
Suddenly, Lloyd's eyes shot open, a jolt of panic coursing through him as he realized something crucial. "The kids!" he exclaimed, sitting up abruptly.
Mia stirred beside him, her own eyes fluttering open as she registered Lloyd's alarm. "What about them?" she asked groggily, still half-asleep.
"We need to dress them," Lloyd replied urgently, his mind racing with the realization that their friends still needed their care and attention.
Mia nodded in understanding, her fatigue momentarily forgotten as she sprang into action. "You dress Jay and Cole," she instructed, her voice filled with determination. "I'll take care of Nya."
With a sense of urgency, Mia and Lloyd gathered the babies and placed them gently into a stroller, ensuring they were secure and comfortable for the journey ahead. Jay clung onto Mia, seeking comfort in her familiar embrace as they made their way to Misako's doctor's office.
As they arrived, Mia couldn't help but notice Jay's reluctance to let go. She smiled warmly at him, her heart swelling with affection. "You never did change, did you?" she remarked softly, her tone filled with fondness as she stroked his hair soothingly.
Misako took one look at the babies and immediately sprang into action. "Bring them into the back," she instructed, her tone brisk yet reassuring as she gestured toward the examination rooms.
Mia and Lloyd exchanged a glance before following Misako's lead, the urgency of the situation heightening their senses. As they entered the examination room, Misako handed them gowns to put on the babies, her movements swift and efficient.
Mia carefully dressed Nya in the gown, her hands gentle yet firm as she ensured her friend was comfortable. "There you go, Nya," she murmured softly, offering a reassuring smile as she adjusted the gown.
Lloyd, meanwhile, took charge of dressing Jay and Cole, his movements purposeful as he worked to soothe their nerves. "It's okay, guys," he said soothingly, his voice filled with reassurance as he gently fastened the gown around them.
As Misako meticulously examined each baby, Cole, Nya, and then Jay, Mia couldn't help but feel a rush of emotion as Jay waddled over to her and wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. His small gesture of affection warmed her heart, and she returned the embrace with a gentle kiss on his forehead.
First, Misako focused on Cole, carefully checking his vitals and ensuring he was healthy despite his unusual predicament. She then moved on to Nya, her skilled hands working with precision as she conducted her examination. Nya, ever resilient, remained calm and cooperative throughout the process.
Finally, it was Jay's turn. But as Misako approached him, Jay refused to leave Mia's side, clinging to her as if afraid to let go. Mia smiled down at him, her heart swelling with love for the little boy who had captured her heart.
"It's okay, Jay," Mia reassured him, her voice soft and soothing. "Misako just wants to make sure you're feeling okay."
With a gentle nudge from Mia, Jay reluctantly allowed Misako to examine him, albeit with a wary gaze fixed on the doctor. Misako worked quickly and efficiently, her experienced hands guiding her through the examination with ease.
Once the examination was complete, Misako stepped back with a satisfied nod. "They seem to be in good health," she announced, her voice calm and reassuring. "But we'll keep monitoring them closely, just to be safe."
As they returned home from Misako's office, exhaustion weighed heavily upon Mia, Lloyd, and the babies. Yet, their hearts were lifted by the familiar surroundings of the monastery and the comfort of each other's presence.
Just as they began to settle in, Master Wu's voice cut through the quiet of the room, drawing their attention. "Look!" he exclaimed, excitement evident in his tone as he held up a small vial. "I found a way to reverse the effect!"
Mia's eyes widened with hope as she gazed at the vial, her exhaustion momentarily forgotten. "Are you serious, Master Wu?" she asked eagerly, her voice tinged with anticipation.
Master Wu nodded solemnly, his expression serious yet determined. "Yes, Mia. With this potion, we may be able to restore our friends to their rightful ages."
A sense of relief washed over Mia as she realized the potential of Master Wu's discovery. With renewed determination, she turned to Lloyd, her eyes shining with hope. "We have to try it," she said firmly, her voice filled with conviction.
Lloyd nodded in agreement, his own resolve mirrored in his expression. "Agreed," he replied, determination burning in his eyes.
They spent the next few hours reading, getting the ingredients, brewing, and preparing it.
" Okay, we put 4 tomatoes, 1 potato, 3 carrots, a sprinkle of salt, some herbs, and..... A chili pepper?!" Mia shouted, bizarre.
" Yeah, well, it was asked for, so...." Lloyd trailed off.
" You do know, NONE of them can handle chillies, right?"
" Okay, so we could add some more tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, and maybe some sugar." Lloyd threw in the ingredients as he spoke, and Mia shook her head.
" Fine. You feed Cole, Kai and Zane. I'll do my brother and Nya." Mia took charge, bringing the pot and five spoons to the dining table, where five wiggly babies awaited. Lloyd dipped a spoon in the pot, and fed it to Kai. He took another for Cole, and a third for Zane. Meanwhile, Mia fed Jay and Nya.
" Open up, brother." She cooed, trying to get the liquid in his mouth.
" He doesn't seem to want it." Lloyd observed, moving towards them.
" I know. He never did enjoy trying new stuff."
Then, Mia got an idea. She quickly got a glass of orange juice and gave it to Jay. He gulped it fast.
" How was that supposed to help us?" Lloyd inquired.
" I put the stew in it. So, it was a mix of both."
" Ah."
Lloyd paused.
" How long 'till they become normal?"
" About an hour."
" Oh."
" We should give them a bath in the meantime. It shouldn't be that fast for them to become normal." Mia suggested, rounding up the babies and taking them to the bathtub. Lloyd followed, helping Mia warm the bath and undress the babies. They plopped them into the water and washed them.
" This is fun." Lloyd said, washing Zane's metallic body.
" Yes. It is very fun. And peaceful." Mia agreed, carefully rinsing Jay's hair.
Suddenly, a glowing substance flowed out of all the babies mouths and into the air.
" What's happening?" Mia asked nervously.
" No idea." Lloyd replied.
Then, a burst emitted into the bathroom. It was so bright it blinded Mia and Lloyd. When it disappeared, five ninjas sat in the paces of the babies.
" Jay"! Mia yelled, jumping in and hugging her brother tight.
" Hi, guys." Lloyd said, more calmly.
" Hi, everyone, what are we doing in the bathtub?" Kai asked, starting to get out of the water.
" NO!" Lloyd shouted, while Mia pounced on him.
" Huh?" Kai looked confused.
" It'll be easier to explain once you're dressed." Mia said, moaning for five blankets. She gave one to each of the ninja, and told them to wrap it around their bodies and run to their rooms.
