Memories
Yeah, you guessed it. Sorry. I'm just really shocked. For those who haven't seen it, don't read the next part. I promise I'll send out another story I wrote to help you pass time.
For those who have read, I'm as shocked as you! I mean, they could have given Jay a bit more value!
Anyway, enjoy this!
" Giddy up, Snowflake!" Mia said, clicking her tounge. Snowflake huffed and broke out into a trot.
" Yahoo!" She yelled, her hair waving in the wind.
Then, she heard someone calling. She strained to hear over the sound of chatter and hoofs.
" Mia!" The voice yelled. " We need you!"
Mia sighed and turned Snowflake into the direction.
" Duty calls, girl." She said, urging her into a trot to the direction of the arena.
When Snowflake stopped, Mia's eyes widened.
It was him.
Fighting his.... Yang?!
What was going on?!
" Am I seeing thing?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.
Snowflake shook her head, her mane whacking Mia on the face.
" Ow! Easy, girl!" She muttered, soothing the place of impact.
" Hey, Mia." Lloyd said, approaching her.
Mia turned. " Lemme get this straight. My brother is fighting Nya?!"
Lloyd sighed. " Unfortunately."
Mia looked at him. " At least he'll let Nya win. She's the most important thing to him. Besides me and the team, of course."
Lloyd rubbed his head. " That's the thing. He doesn't have any memory of us. And he's on Lord Ras's side."
Mia looked at him. " I'm hearing things."
She smacked her head. " Mind saying that again?"
" Mia, your brother doesn't have any memory of his past life."
Mia's breath hitched.
" What?!" She whispered.
Snowflake, sensing her sadness and confusion, nuzzled her.
" But how?" Mia asked, stroking Snowflake's nose.
" We don't know." Cole said, walking over with the others.
Then, they heard Nya yell, " no, Jay. Don't!"
They turned, and found Jay putting on a wolf mask.
Now Mia knew she wasn't dreaming.
She saw the gong, and gasped.
" Snowflake, tell Blackie I love him. I love you, too."
Then, she took off running to the gong and shielded its sound waves from Jay.
" What?!" He yelled, infuriated. " Get out of my way!"
" No can do, Brother. But, I can do this."
She directed her wind and lightning to the gong, and a blinding light enveloped her.
When it evaporated, the gong was nowhere in sight.
Unfortunately, neither was Mia.
" What did she do?!" Ras growled, running to Jay. " Why did you let her do that?!"
" I.. I didn't know she'd do that!"
" You should've." Ras pushed Jay aside.
" Hey!" Nya said, her face stone like. " Don't you dare do that to him again!"
" Or?" Ras smirked.
" Or I'll end your life." A strong voice said.
The wind.
Mia was one with the wind.
" Mia?!" Lloyd gasped. " Why does this keep happening?!"
" Um... What did she do?" Wyldfyre asked, confused.
" She merged with the wind." Zane replied. " Forutenely, we can bring her back."
" Yeah, and get prisoned again." Lloyd replied.
" Maybe not." A voice said.
They turned, and found Blackie, looking quite pleased.
" There's a gong. The gong of Peace. Mia's parents made it with their elemental powers."
" But, Jay is also their son." Cole reminded him.
Blackie sighed. " I know, I know. But with the gong, we could bring her back."
" Okay. So... Where is it?" Sora looked around.
" It's in your sight." Blackie yawned.
Sora looked at him, confused. " But the only thing.... Oh." She trailed off when she saw Blackie's collar.
" Yeah. You need to strike it with the elemental power of lightning."
" But only Jay has that power." Lloyd reminded him.
" Maybe not." Sora looked at Lloyd. " Didn't you say you could once control all their powers?"
Lloyd nodded.
" Then channel your element to the gong!"
" I can't do that! Not anymore!"
" Why?" Wyldfyre huffed.
" Because I had my golden powers at the time! I used them all defeating the Overlord."
" The who?"
Lloyd sighed. " Never mind."
Cole turned to Blackie. " There HAS to be another way!"
Blackie sighed. " Use the mallet."
" What mallet?" Cole looked around.
" The mallet of Pea.... Oh, right. We don't have it here."
Blackie shook his head. " Okay, I'm gonna try and use Mia's wind to bring it here."
Blackie stood on his hind legs and brought his front paws up.
It came.
" Wow, you're getting good at that!" Lloyd nodded.
" Of course." He looked at Cole expectedly.
" What are you waiting for? Strike the gong."
"Right," Cole said, taking a deep breath. He grasped the mallet of Peace, feeling its weight and the potential power it held.
"Come on, Cole. You've got this," Lloyd encouraged, his eyes filled with determination and hope.
With a firm grip, Cole swung the mallet towards Blackie's collar. As the mallet connected, a powerful resonance filled the air, vibrating with an ethereal hum. The ground seemed to tremble, and a radiant light erupted from the point of impact.
The air around them shimmered, and suddenly, the figure of Mia began to materialize from the swirling winds. The light faded, and there she was, standing tall and proud, her hair tousled by the remaining breezes.
"Mia!" Lloyd shouted, rushing to her side. "Are you okay?"
Mia smiled, though she looked slightly dazed. "Yeah, I'm okay. Just a bit...winded," she joked, causing a few chuckles despite the tense situation.
Ras, seeing Mia's return, snarled in frustration. "This isn't over!" he yelled, trying to charge at the group.
But Nya, fueled by determination and anger, stood firm. "Oh, it's over for you," she said, using her water powers to create a barrier that stopped Ras in his tracks.
"Nice work, Nya," Cole said, giving her a nod of approval.
Jay, however, was not standing with them. Instead, he was on the opposite side, his eyes cold and unrecognizing. He was Mia's enemy now, and the sight of her only made his anger grow.
"Mia," Lloyd said, his voice filled with concern, "Jay doesn't remember us. He's fighting for Ras now."
Mia's face fell, her eyes filling with tears. "No," she whispered. "Not Jay."
Jay smirked, his eyes fixed on Mia. "You think you can stop me, little girl who claims to be my sister?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "You're nothing without your precious team."
Mia's sadness quickly turned to rage. "I'm not your little sister anymore," she snapped, her eyes blazing with determination. "And I'll do whatever it takes to bring you back."
" Mia, no!" Lloyd yelled, but it was too late.
Mia was in battle mode.
" What are you trying to do, hit a squirrel?" Jay taunted, shooting lightning at Mia.
Mia dodged. " No. I'm trying to shoot a person who means nothing to me."
Wyldfyre looked confused. " But didn't she love Jay?"
Lloyd sighed. " That's just her way of showing she's not really the person we know her as."
Nya winced as she saw Mia electrocute Jay's body. " If she keeps this up, we might need a doctor or two."
Lloyd shrugged. " Oh, look. Ras is calling him in."
They all ran to Mia, and heard her say, " I love you, Jay. So does Nya."
They also heard him say, " and I will always hate you."
* Rest happen as shown.*
Nya drove. The others tracked Jay. And Mia... Well, she daydreamed about the time her parents were still alive.
Jay and Mia would always to out, everyday, and watch the clouds with their parents, and make stories.
She smiled. Those were good times.
Then, she felt shaking. Oh, no. Not an earthquake! Not now, anyway! If only...
" ... Mia?! Are you okay?" A red hand with black glove waved their hand in front of her face, breaking her transe.
" Huh?" Mia turned back, and looked at Kai.
" I asked, are you okay?"
" Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?"
" Because you keep looking at the sky and arnt answering anything we ask you." Cole replied.
Mia raised her brows. " Thank you for noticing that about me when I'm zoned out."
Lloyd, who was with Sora and Wyldfyre, looked down the aisle. " Are you thinking about your life with your parents."
" Wow, what a breakthrough!" Mia said sarcastically.
Lloyd rolled his eyes. " Were you?"
" Obviously." Mia turned back to the window and looked out.
Nya, who was driving, looked briefly at her and asked, " do you miss them?"
Mia nodded. " Yeah, but I was too young when they left. Jay loved them, too. He always said I was the most affected. But it was him. I knew he struggled, trying to balance my life and his. So I didn't really give him much trouble." She zipped her bag open, and took out a picture of them. She passed it around.
Frak, who was with the ninja, look the picture and said, " wow. Looks like one of the elemental masters at the tournament."
Mia sighed. " Yeah. Lord Ras recruited him. And turned him evil."
Frak gasped. " The elemental master of lightning? Turned evil?!"
Mia nodded. " Yeah, but you can see it happen."
Sora shrugged. " Either way, we have to get him back."
" Ras is... Well, with Arin. Cinder is in jail, Jordana is good now, and Jay... Well, who knows where he is!" Mia threw her hands up in exasperation.
" Well, we're gonna find your brother and get his memory back." Nya looked at her with hopeful eyes.
As they sped towards their destination, a group of masked figures suddenly appeared in the road, forcing Nya to slam on the brakes. The van skidded to a halt, and the ninja quickly realized they were surrounded by members of Ras's gang, all wearing wolf masks.
"Great, just what we needed," Lloyd muttered, drawing his weapon.
Mia, however, was already out of the van, her eyes blazing with fury. "Get out of our way!" she shouted, her voice echoing with the power of her wind element.
The masked figures didn't budge, and the confrontation quickly escalated. The air crackled with tension as Mia unleashed her rage, her movements a blur as she tore through their ranks. The rest of the team followed her lead, but Mia was in a frenzy, her strikes brutal and unrelenting.
"Mia, calm down!" Lloyd called out, but his words fell on deaf ears.
In her fury, Mia didn't hold back, and the fight turned deadly. By the time the dust settled, ten of the masked figures lay motionless on the ground. The rest of the team stood in stunned silence, the weight of what had just happened sinking in.
Mia wiped the blood from her hands, her expression cold and unfeeling. "Good. I hated them," she said, her voice devoid of any remorse.
Kai approached her cautiously. "Better than going to jail, I guess," he said, though his tone was uncertain.
Lloyd shook his head, looking at the fallen bodies. "This isn't who we are, Mia."
Mia glared at him. "They were in our way. They were going to hurt us. I did what I had to do."
Cole stepped forward, trying to calm the situation. "We need to keep moving. Standing here isn't going to help anyone."
Nya nodded, her eyes still wide with shock. "He's right. We have to find Jay."
As they piled back into the van, the atmosphere was tense. Mia stared out the window, her mind a whirlwind of emotions. She knew she had crossed a line, but she also knew that they were in a fight for their lives.
"Let's go," she said quietly, and Nya started the van again.
The journey continued in silence, each of them lost in their thoughts. The mission to save Jay had taken a dark turn, and they all knew that things would never be the same.
After a few minutes, all was forgotten.
Unfortunately, Frak had witnessed it first hand.
"Does... Does that always happen?" he asked, his voice trembling.
Cole nodded. "Yeah. You get used to it."
Kai, whose eye was still twitching, cautiously asked, "Just to confirm... You didn't really... kill them... did you?"
Mia shook her head. "Nah. There were poison bottles on the floor. I accidentally squeezed it on them."
"Oh, good," Kai sighed in relief.
"But what about the blood?" Lloyd asked, still skeptical.
Mia smirked. "Cranberry juice."
Wyldfyre chuckled. "You seriously had me going there, Mia."
Nya gave her a stern look. "We need to be careful, though. We can't afford to make any mistakes."
As they continued their journey, the tension in the van eased slightly. Frak, still shaken, leaned closer to Cole. "Is it always this intense?"
Cole shrugged. "Sometimes. But we always find a way through."
Sora, sitting next to Lloyd, asked, "What's the plan once we find Jay?"
Lloyd glanced at Mia. "We need to restore his memory. If we can break Ras's control, we might be able to bring him back to our side."
"How are we going to do that?" Frak asked.
Lloyd's expression hardened. "By any means necessary."
They drove in silence for a while, each of them preparing mentally for the confrontation ahead. They knew it wouldn't be easy, but they were determined to save their friend.
As they approached their destination, the landscape grew darker, the air thick with tension. Nya parked the van a safe distance away, and they quietly exited, readying their weapons.
"Stay close and stay quiet," Lloyd instructed. "We don't want to alert them before we're ready."
They moved stealthily through the shadows, the fortress of Lord Ras looming in the distance. Mia's heart pounded in her chest, her mind focused on one thing: bringing her brother back.
As they neared the entrance, they spotted several guards patrolling the perimeter. Lloyd signaled for everyone to take positions, and they quickly dispatched the guards, leaving them unconscious and hidden from sight.
"Good work," Lloyd whispered. "Now, let's find Jay."
They slipped inside the fortress, moving through the dark corridors with practiced ease. The air was heavy with the scent of damp stone and old wood. The silence was broken only by the distant sounds of guards and the occasional drip of water.
Finally, they reached a large chamber where Jay stood, his eyes cold and unrecognizing. He wore a mask that covered his face, the symbol of Ras etched into the metal.
"Jay!" Nya called out, her voice filled with emotion.
Jay turned, his expression hardening. "Who are you?"
Mia stepped forward, her voice trembling. "We're your friends, Jay. Your family."
Jay's eyes narrowed. "I have no family."
Mia clenched her fists, her determination unwavering. "Yes, you do. And we're here to bring you back."
As the tension in the room mounted, the team prepared for the battle of their lives, hoping against hope that they could break through the darkness and bring their friend back into the light.
Mia stepped forward, her voice steady. "Jay, it's me."
Jay's eyes blazed with anger and confusion. "I have never seen you before!" he argued, lightning crackling at his fingertips.
Mia mirrored his stance, wind swirling around her. "Oh, you're on."
They charged at one another, the air around them crackling with elemental energy. Jay performed a triple jump and whack in the air, but Mia dodged it with a double slide, sending a gust of wind his way. Jay countered with a slide and kick, but Mia jumped over him, landing a swift kick to his bottom.
"How do you know all these tricks?!" Jay asked, sending a bolt of lightning at her.
"Because we both have the same parents," Mia replied, shielding herself with a vortex of wind.
The battle raged on, each sibling matching the other's moves with precision and skill. Mia's heart ached with every strike, knowing she was fighting her brother but determined to break through the control Ras had over him.
"Jay, listen to me!" Mia shouted between blows. "This isn't you! You're stronger than this!"
Jay's expression flickered with doubt for a moment, but it quickly vanished as he renewed his assault. "Lies! You're trying to deceive me!"
Mia gritted her teeth, channeling all her strength into her next attack. She conjured a powerful gust of wind, lifting Jay off his feet and slamming him into the wall. "Wake up, Jay! Remember who you are!"
" This is who I am!" Jay yelled.
" No, it's not!" Mia yelled back, smashing the ground. A geyser erupted where Jay was standing.
The others could only watch. " This is a Mia battle, isn't it?" Cole asked.
Lloyd nodded. " I guess so."
Meanwhile, Jay and Mia were still arguing.
" That trick was my moms!" Jay reported. Then, an idea struck his head. " You didn't steal it, did you?"
" What?! No! Mom taught it to me!"
" Lies! I'm an only child now! My sister died with my parents!"
Mia gave him a weird look. " What? No. I'm alive."
" Lies!"
Mia's nose twitched. " You can't just make up whatever you want!"
" Well, you can't just say you're my sister!"
" I'm saying that because it's true!"
" And I'm saying it bec I know it's a lie."
Mia gritted her teeth. " Oh, you're on. You wanna bet? Let's bet."
" I don't wanna-"
" Oh, you don't wanna bet? Poor Jay. Should we just call it off? No. We are not gonna call it off."
Jay sighed. " Fine. What do you bet?"
Mia smirked. " I bet your name is Jay Elizabeth Walker. You like video games. Your element is lightning. And your Yang is Nya."
Jay sputtered. " Most of that is true. Except the Yang part."
Mia lifted her hand, and his piece came flying to her.
" Does this strike a memory?" She asked, handing it to him.
He took it, and felt it. It felt... Familiar. But where....?
Mia, seeing this wasn't helpfulo, sighed. " Does THIS strike a memory?"
She took out their mom's necklace she wore, and held it to her brother.
Jay took it, and his mind buzzed.
" Mia, are parents... They're gone."
" What?! No! That's impossible!"
Jay sighed. " No, Mia. It's not."
-----
" Will you be my Yang?"
" Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!"
-----
" You're making jokes?! They have Nya and you're making jokes?!"
" It was a poor choice of words!"
-----
" It's like ripping off an old bandage! The sooner you do it, the better!"
" Uh... Did you just compare Nya to an old bandage?!"
" Way to go, Cole. Way to take the romance out of it."
-----
" I wouldn't even trust you with a... A...."
" A pillow!"
" ......"
" It was the most harmless thing I could think of?"
-------
" May I have this dance?"
" Sure."
" I will always love you, Nya."
Jay sighed, clutching his head.
" Jay? Are you okay?!" Mia and Nya ran to his side and hugged him.
" Guys....? Is that you?"
Mia drew back. " Jay, who am I?"
Jay smiled. " My sister."

" Mia, your brother doesn't have any memory of his past life."
Mia's breath hitched.
" What?!" She whispered.
Without another word, she took off, running to the training arena.
Meanwhile, as Nya and Jay were fighting, they suddenly heard a loud, " Hi- Ya!" And thunder.
Nya turned to the training arena.
Smoke.
Rain.
Thunder.
Wind.
Oh, great.
" Mia's having a meltdown!" Nya yelled to the others.
Lloyd sighed.
" We need to go to her."
Nya nodded, and ran to the direction with the others. Jay and Ras followed, along with Roby, Cinder and Jordana ( or should I say, Wox?).
Anyway, when they arrived, they saw many things.
A picture of Jay on the wooden dummies.
An angry Mia.
Water droplets.
A fire pit that was estinguished.
And wind howling everywhere.
Mia, right now, was electrocuting the dummy.
" I HATE YOU, WALKER!" she yelled. " EVEN THAT NAME IS NOW CURSED! AND THAT'S MY LAST NAME!"
Nya covered her ears. " She's loud."
" Wasn't she always?" Lloyd replied.
Cole stepped back. " Yeesh. You'd think she'd calm down already."
Mia, oblivious to the chatter, punched the dummy, then kicked it, then broke off a perch.
" YOU TAKE MY PARENTS FROM ME, AND THEN BOTH BROTHERS. NOW ONE BROTHER IS EVIL?! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU, WORLD?!"
Lloyd winced. " We should calm her down.
" No, I'm quite enjoying seeing her make a fool of herself." Ras said, smiling.
Mia heard this and saw everyone. Her eyes settled on Jay.
" You." She said, before launching herself on him and kicking him and punching him.
" I have some anger issues to work out." She declared, slapping his head.
" Listen, Mia, we get it. But maybe not so.... Violent?" Cole suggested.
" He almost killed me. Why don't I almost kill him?"
Wyldfyre cheered, " get him!"
Then, she saw Coles disapproving face and quickly added, " but don't kill him!"
Mia wasn't listening. She did Rising Dragon on him, nearly knocking his heart out.
He, in return, resisted.
Soon, though, things got out of control.
Jay, who was losing sorely, decided it was time to unleash some trucks he had never shown anyone.
He jumped in the air, lept to Mia, and shot lightning at her.
Mia stepped away and channeled wind to him.
He used lightning to make a dragon.
Mia used wind to make a dragon.
The dragons fought hard, mirroring their owners.
Now Mia and Jay were wrestling.
" How do you know all my moves?!" Jay asked.
" Because they were Father's. I learned Mother's."
Jay growled. " They aren't your parents!"
" Yes they are! We are siblings! We come from the same family!" Mia yelled.
" Lies! I'm an only child!"
Mia gritted her teeth, and pulled her katana out.
Just before she could strike, though, a voice stopped her.
" Mia, Jay. Stop fighting." It said in it's familiar voice.
Mia and Jay turned to find their mother, in the form of wind.
" Mom?!" They both yelled, running to her and hugging her.
" Yes, my baby girl and boy. How you've grown." She replied, her voice trembling.
Mia looked at her. "Mom, could you help me with jays memory? He's lost it. All because of Ras." Mia looked at the lion in disgust.
Daisy, her mother, shook her head. " No, Mia. It was because of the administration."
Mia gasped. " WHAT?!"
then, she turned. " Oh, they are gonna pay. Hard."
Daisy reached for her daughter. " No, Mia. Not now. You're too weak."
Mia looked at her. " But they did this to us! Split me and my brother up!"
Daisy nodded. " Yes, but you are together now."
Jay, who was quiet, spoke up. " Mom, why does she keep calling you mom?"
" Because she is your sister."
Jay tilted his head. " Did you adopt her?"
Daisy gave him a weird look. " No....?"
Mia sighed. " Mother, it's time I show you a fighting technique you know all too well." She spinjitzued, and achieved Rising Dragon. She soared through the sky, and landed smack on Jay's body.
Jay, in return, was quick on his feet, and they fought again. Mia spun on a pole; Jay jumped on her; they threw each other into trees. It was tough.
" Mia, stop being so stiff! Let your body move!" Daisy called.
" But I need to mirror your actions! Your moves helped you win!" Mia called back, her focus never leaving Jay and winning back his memory.
" I won because I let my body move the way it wanted!"
Mia sighed, and nodded. She jumped into the air, and whisled. Sapphire came.
Roby tried to intervene, " B.. but the rules say no dragons!"
Daisy gave him a look. " You will let it slide. Is that understood?"
Roby gulped. " Yes, ma'am."
Daisy nodded. " Good."
Meanwhile, Mia jumped onto Sapphire, standing. Sapphire charged at Jay, who shot lightning.
" Elizabeth, what do you think you're doing?!" Mia yelled.
Cinder Snickered. " Elizabeth? That sounds like a name from the Middle ages."
Jordana ( Wox) rolled her eyes.
Cinder continued, " Where are you from, the Middle ages?"
Mia couldn't stand anyone bullying her brother.
So she did the one thing she did best.
Electrocute him.
" You're the enemy, but you saved me. Why?" Jay asked.
Mia sighed. " Stubborn as always. Because, brother, I am your brother."
Jay scoffed, but before he could say anything, Daisy cut in.
" Jay, she's telling the truth."
Jay looked at her. " Now YOU'RE on her side?!"
Mia sighed. " Come on, brother. I-"
" I AM NOT YOUR BROTHER!"
Mia turned away, and fumbled with something. When she turned back, she was holding a scrapbook.
" Look, Jay," she said softly. " It's our scrapbook."
Jay took it and hesitantly opened it.
Memories came flooding back.
I will always love you, Nya
You're the best thing that happened to me, Mia.
Wow, that's a weird way of saying thanks!
No, we don't. We still have Lloyd.
They took everyone, Lloyd! Even Jay!
Jay took a sharp. The glint Mia hasn't't seen in so long returned.
Before she knew what she was doing, she ran and hugged him tight.
" Jay!" She exclaimed. " Oh, Jay!"
She turned to her mother, feeling young again.
" Mommy, look!" She exclaimed. " Jay has his memory."
" Yes, Mia." Daisy whispered with emotion as she and Nya ran to Jay. " Yes."
--------------
" Don't worry. Whoever it is I can take them."
The man turned, and Mia gasped.
It was Jay.
Before she knew what she was doing, Mia ran to Jay and hugged him.
" Jay! You're here!"
" What are you talking about. I've never seen you in my life!"
" Haha, you still have a bad sense of humor."
Jay pushed her away. " Stop acting like you know me!"
Ras spoke up. " Get away from my warrior."
Mia turned to him. " Oh, it's you." She said in a flat voice.
" Yes, it's me. Get away from him."
" First of all, this is my brother. Jay Elizabeth Walker. Second, my brother is not a warrior. He's a ninja."
" Same thing!"
" Stop with your games. If you will excuse me, I have a brother to unite with the others." She pulled Jay's hand, but he yanked it away.
" Don't touch me!" He said in a disgusted tone.
That's when Mia realized he really didn't have his memory.
So she did the one thing she knew best.
Fight.
" So.... you have no memory?" She asked in a fake sweet tone. " Let's see if we can jog it."
She took her katanas out and went into battle stance.
Lloyd saw this and gulped.
" This is bad." He whispered, covering his eyes and cowering behind Cole.
Mia's eyes hardened as she watched Jay's unfamiliar, hostile stance. She took a deep breath, her resolve solidifying. "Alright, Jay. If fighting is what it takes to get you back, then so be it."
Jay's expression was a mixture of confusion and irritation. "You're insane."
Mia smiled coldly. "We'll see about that."
She lunged at Jay with her katanas, their blades clashing with a sharp metallic sound. Jay blocked her strikes, his movements swift and precise, but there was a noticeable lack of recognition in his eyes. Each swing and parry was filled with Mia's determination to bring her brother back.
The onlookers watched in tense silence, the only sounds being the clang of metal and the heavy breathing of the fighters. Lloyd, peeking from behind Cole, whispered, "She's not going to stop, is she?"
Cole shook his head. "No, she's not. She'll fight until she can't anymore."
Mia pushed Jay back, her strikes growing more intense. "You used to beat me at this all the time, Jay! Remember! You have to remember!"
Jay's face twisted in frustration. "I don't know you!"
Mia's eyes welled with tears, but she didn't let them fall. "You do know me, Jay! You know all of us! We're your family!"
Jay laughed. " Ras is my family."
Mia's anger boiled over, and she snapped. "Ras is not your family! We are! We've been through everything together! How can you forget that?"
Jay's laughter only fueled her rage. "Ras is the one who saved me, who trained me. You're just a stranger."
Mia's grip tightened on her katanas. "You don't get to rewrite history, Jay! You don't get to erase all the memories we made, all the battles we fought side by side!"
Ras stepped forward, a smug smile on his face. "He's mine now, Mia. Accept it."
Mia's eyes narrowed, and without warning, she lunged at Ras. Her katanas flashed in the light as she attacked with a fury fueled by heartbreak and betrayal. Ras barely managed to block her strikes, stumbling back under the onslaught.
Jay moved to help Ras, but Lloyd and Cole intervened, holding him back. "Stay out of this, Jay," Cole said firmly. "This is between Mia and Ras."
Mia's attacks were relentless, each strike aimed to hurt, to make Ras pay for what he had done. "You think you can just take my brother away from me? You think you can brainwash him and make him forget everything? You're wrong!"
Ras's smug demeanor faltered as he struggled to keep up with Mia's speed and strength. "He's better off without you," he spat.
Mia's eyes blazed with fury. "No, Ras. He's better off without you."
With a final, powerful swing, Mia disarmed Ras and knocked him to the ground. She stood over him, her katanas at his throat. "You will undo whatever you've done to Jay, or I swear, you'll regret ever crossing us."
Ras looked up at her, fear finally showing in his eyes. "You can't force me to do anything."
Mia leaned closer, her voice a dangerous whisper. "Watch me."
Behind her, Jay struggled against Cole and Lloyd's grip, confusion and anger warring in his eyes. "Let me go! I need to help Ras!"
Lloyd shook his head. "No, Jay. You need to remember who you really are."
Nya, meanwhile, was gripping onto Zane. "Please tell me when this is over."
Mia turned her fury back to Jay. "You are so stupid, Jay! How could you forget us? How could you let yourself be brainwashed like that?"
Jay flinched at her harsh words. "Mia, I didn't—"
"Save it!" Mia interrupted, her voice full of venom. "You're not my brother! My brother would never forget us, never forget me!"
Lloyd stepped forward, stunned. "Mia, you just said that to your brother."
Mia's eyes blazed with anger. "He's not my brother!" She reached into her pocket and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper, throwing it on the ground. "This is my registration letter! I was supposed to be part of this family, part of this team. But now, I don't even know who any of you are anymore!"
Everyone watched in silence as Mia's rage poured out. The letter lay on the ground, a stark reminder of the bond they were supposed to share.
Lloyd bent down and picked up the letter, reading it silently before looking back at Mia. "Mia, we are your family. We can get through this together."
Mia shook her head, tears streaming down her face. "No, Lloyd. This isn't the family I signed up for. I can't keep fighting for people who forget who they are."
Jay stepped forward, his voice soft. "Mia, I'm so sorry. I never wanted to hurt you."
Mia looked at him, her eyes filled with pain. "It's too late for sorry, Jay. You let me down."
The weight of her words hung in the air, heavy and suffocating. Jay looked devastated, but Mia couldn't bring herself to comfort him. The betrayal was too deep.
Cole stepped forward, putting a hand on Mia's shoulder. "We can fix this, Mia. We can help Jay remember everything."
Mia pulled away, her voice cold. "I'm done trying. If he wants to be with Ras, then let him. I'm not fighting for someone who won't fight for me."
With that, she turned and walked away, leaving the others in stunned silence. The family they had once been seemed fractured beyond repair.
Ras stepped forward, his patience wearing thin. "Enough of this! We came here for the fight, not for a family reunion."
Jay nodded in agreement. "He's right. Let's get this over with."
Mia's eyes widened in disbelief and anger. "You're an idiot, Jay. A big, fat idiot!"
Cole, sensing the situation escalating further, stepped forward cautiously. "I'll try to calm her down... I hope."
Lloyd nodded, giving Cole a supportive pat on the back. "Good luck."
Cole approached Mia, who was fuming, her fists clenched tightly. "Mia, listen. We can work through this. We need to stick together."
Mia shook her head, tears of frustration and hurt streaming down her face. "How, Cole? How can we stick together when he doesn't even remember us? When he's siding with Ras?"
Cole took a deep breath. "We'll figure it out, Mia. We always do. But yelling at him won't help."
Mia wiped her tears angrily. "I just can't believe this is happening."
Cole put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I know. It's hard. But we need to stay strong, for all of us."
Meanwhile, Jay and Ras moved to the center of the arena, ready to continue the fight. Ras looked at Jay with a smirk. "Don't let them get to you. They're just trying to mess with your head."
Jay nodded, trying to steel himself. "Right. Let's do this."
Mia, her emotions boiling over, marched right up to Jay and slapped him hard across the face. "You're an idiot, you know that? And you're a jerk!"
Jay staggered back, holding his cheek, shock and confusion written across his face.
Lloyd stepped forward quickly. "Easy on the insults, Mia."
Mia rounded on Lloyd, her eyes blazing. "Oh yeah? He's my brother. I'm allowed to tell and say anything to him."
Jay, still reeling from the slap, looked at Mia with a mix of anger and bewilderment. "Why are you doing this? I don't even know you!"
Mia's voice cracked with emotion. "Because you're my brother, Jay! And because I love you. And it hurts to see you like this."
Ras, growing impatient, stepped between them. "Enough! We're here to fight, not for your emotional outbursts."
Mia glared at Ras. "Stay out of this. This is between me and my brother."
Cole, sensing the situation was about to spiral out of control, moved to stand by Mia's side. "Mia, let's take a step back. We need to regroup and think this through."
Mia shook her head, her determination unwavering. "No, Cole. I need to make him understand. Jay, you have to remember us. You have to remember who you are."
Jay's expression hardened, his eyes cold. "I told you, I don't remember any of you. And I don't care."
Mia's face hardened. " Don't care, huh. Well, I don't care if I kill you. If I do, I wouldn't even care. I would much rather find someone else."
Lloyd blinked. " Did she just say that?"
Nya shrugged. " Could be a threat."
But when Mia pulled out her daggers, they knew this wasn't a joke.
" Mia, stop!" Zane called.
Mia turned to him. " I don't care about his life."
Cole's eyes widened, and he took a few steps back. " Let's think this through."
" My decision is final, Cole."
Lloyd took a sharp breath. " Mia, please. Don't do it."
Mia turned to him. " No one but my brother was allowed to tell me what to do. Now, not even him."
Cinder gulped. " Uh, Lord Ras, maybe let's think this through."
Ras's face twisted into a smirk as he observed the escalating situation. "No, Mia. This is not the time for hesitation. The fight must proceed, regardless of your personal vendettas."
Mia's eyes blazed with fury. She gripped her daggers tightly, her entire demeanor shifting into something dangerously intense. "Fine. If you want to play that way, I'll show you what happens when you push me too far."
With a swift, fluid motion, Mia lunged towards Jay, her daggers gleaming menacingly in the light. Her movements were precise and ruthless, driven by a mix of desperation and raw anger.
Lloyd watched in shock, unable to fully grasp the scene unfolding before him. "I can't believe this is happening," he muttered, his voice tinged with disbelief and fear.
Cole, trying to process the chaos, moved to intervene. "Mia, this isn't the way. We need to think clearly and act strategically, not let our emotions dictate our actions."
But Mia was beyond reasoning, her focus solely on Jay. "You want a fight? You've got it. I'm not going to let you or anyone else stand in my way."
Jay, taken aback by Mia's aggression, stepped back defensively. "This is insane. You're not making any sense!"
Cinder, seeing the situation spiral further, glanced nervously at Ras. "Lord Ras, maybe we should reconsider our approach."
Ras's expression remained unmoved. "No. This is exactly what we need. Let Mia unleash her rage. It will only serve to make our victory more complete."
Mia, now fully consumed by her violent resolve, swung her daggers with deadly intent. The arena was filled with the sound of clashing metal and Mia's fierce cries. The air crackled with tension, and the group was forced to confront the harsh reality that Mia's anger and desperation had turned her into an incredibly dangerous adversary.
As the battle raged on, Lloyd could only watch helplessly, his heart heavy with the knowledge that their efforts to bring Jay back were now intertwined with an all-out fight that threatened to tear them apart even further.
Mia, her rage now reaching its peak, drew her bow with a fierce determination. She notched an arrow and whistled sharply. Within moments, her dragon, Sapphire, descended from the sky, her scales shimmering with a dazzling blue hue.
Sapphire landed gracefully beside Mia, who then did something unexpected. She placed her hand on Sapphire's snout and began to channel a portion of her own powers into the dragon. The air around them crackled with energy as Mia's elemental force infused Sapphire, making the dragon glow with a potent blue light.
Lloyd's eyes widened in horror and realization. "Stand back, everyone! We officially have a ninja who's angry—and armed with a dragon!"
Zane looked on in panic. "This is spiraling out of control! We need to stop this before someone gets seriously hurt."
Mia, now with Sapphire's enhanced power backing her, aimed her bow directly at Jay. "You think you're tough? Let's see you handle this!"
Jay, overwhelmed and bewildered, tried to shield himself, but the intensity of Mia's attack was unlike anything he had faced before. The arrow, empowered by Mia's fury and Sapphire's magic, flew with an almost unstoppable force.
Cole stepped forward, attempting to calm the situation. "Mia, please! This isn't you! We can find another way—"
But Mia's focus was unyielding. Her eyes were locked onto Jay, and her determination was implacable. Sapphire roared, her own power amplifying the energy of the arrow.
Lloyd's voice was filled with desperation. "Mia, think about what you're doing! This will only make things worse!"
As the arrow raced toward Jay, the situation seemed to teeter on the brink of disaster. The others could only watch in stunned silence, hoping against hope that Mia would reconsider before the damage became irreparable.
Within minutes, the arena was now a battlefield of chaos and destruction. Mia, her anger fueling her every move, unleashed a relentless assault. Each attack was more devastating than the last, and her focus was solely on Jay.
Jay, despite his formidable skills, struggled to keep up. He dodged and weaved, but Mia's relentless barrage of arrows, coupled with Sapphire's powerful support, was overwhelming.
Jay stumbled back, his clothes torn and his body bruised. He glanced around, but Mia's relentless attacks made it clear that there was no respite.
Meanwhile, Cinder and Jordana had been thrown aside with considerable force, and Ras was securely locked away, his attempts to break free proving futile.
Lloyd watched in disbelief, his earlier hope dwindling as Mia's fury showed no signs of abating. "This is a nightmare," he muttered. "I can't believe this is happening."
Nya clutched Zane tightly, her eyes wide with fear. "We need to stop her before she does something irreversible!"
Cole, his expression a mixture of concern and determination, stepped forward, trying to get through to Mia. "Mia! Listen to me! You're losing yourself in this anger! You're hurting the people you care about!"
Mia didn't respond, her face set in a mask of grim determination. Her attacks only grew more intense. Each arrow that flew from her bow seemed to carry a piece of her anguish and frustration.
As Jay stumbled once more, his face showing the effects of Mia's relentless onslaught, a look of sorrow crossed his features. "Mia, stop this! I don't want to fight you!"
But Mia's eyes were cold and unyielding. "You wanted to forget everything, Jay? Well, I'm showing you exactly what you're missing."
Despite the chaos around her, Mia didn't feel any pain or remorse. Her focus was singular, and her heart, once filled with love and concern, was now consumed by her fury.
The tension in the arena was palpable, and the outcome remained uncertain. The only hope was that somehow, someone would find a way to break through Mia's anger before it was too late.
In the midst of the chaos, a soft, ethereal glow began to manifest in the arena. Slowly, the ghostly figure of their mother materialized, her presence bringing an unexpected calm to the frenzied scene. ( Well, she was one with the wind, so.....)
Mia and Jay, both exhausted and emotionally drained, froze as the familiar, comforting figure appeared before them. Their mother's ghost floated gracefully, her serene expression a stark contrast to the turmoil surrounding them.
"Mom?" Jay's voice cracked as he took in the sight, his eyes widening with a mixture of awe and longing.
Without a second thought, Mia and Jay rushed towards their mother's ghost. Mia's anger dissipated in an instant as she reached out, tears streaming down her face. "Mom! I've missed you so much!"
Their mother's ghost embraced them both, her translucent form wrapping around them with a comforting warmth. "My children," she whispered softly, her voice filled with a soothing calm. "I've been watching over you."
Jay, too, found solace in her embrace. His hardened expression softened, and he clung to her, the weight of their troubles momentarily lifted. "Mom, I—"
"Shhh," she said gently, her ghostly hands stroking their hair. "I'm here now. Everything will be okay."
The ghost's presence seemed to have a calming effect on the entire arena. Mia's weapons dropped to the ground, and Jay's defensive stance relaxed. The others watched in awe and relief as the siblings found comfort in their mother's ghostly embrace.
Lloyd, seeing the change, breathed a sigh of relief. "Wow, I never thought I'd see something like this."
Nya, her eyes filled with tears of relief, looked at Zane. "This is... I don't know what to say."
Cole nodded, still watching the siblings. "This is exactly what they needed."
As the emotional reunion continued, the moment of peace was abruptly shattered. Mia pulled away from her mother's embrace, her eyes blazing with frustration. "Mom, Jay decided to lose his memory and went to fight Ras. He's been hurting everyone, including me!"
Jay, still reeling from the shock of seeing his mother, shoved Mia away. "I don't even know you, let alone why you're hugging MY mother!"
The siblings' arguments reignited with fierce intensity. Jay and Mia clashed again, their moves becoming more aggressive. Lightning crackled around them as they unleashed their powers, the arena becoming a battleground of anger and desperation.
Meanwhile, Daisy, their mother's ghost, floated over to the rest of the group. Her expression was one of concern and empathy. "How long has this been going on?" she asked, her voice tinged with sadness.
Lloyd sighed heavily. "It's been a while. Jay's memory was affected, and Mia has been struggling to bring him back to himself. It's been chaotic."
Daisy's eyes softened with understanding. "Oh, Mia. She's exactly like me. This happened to thier father once. I was so angry, just like she is now."
Lloyd's eyes widened. "And how did he get his memory back?"
Daisy pointed towards the siblings, still locked in combat. "Fighting," she said simply. "I was so furious that I lost control, but it was through that intense emotional struggle that he finally remembered who he was."
Lloyd looked at the scene with a mix of disbelief and realization. "Fighting...?"
"Yes," Daisy replied solemnly. "Sometimes, it's through confronting our deepest emotions and conflicts that we find our way back. It won't be easy, but it's a path they have to take."
The group looked back at the intense battle between Mia and Jay, their faces reflecting a mix of hope and concern. It was clear that the path to resolution would be fraught with challenges, but Daisy's words provided a glimmer of hope that the siblings might find their way back to each other through this tumultuous struggle.
In the midst of their fierce battle, Mia's anger reached a breaking point. With a cry of frustration, she threw her necklace to the ground, the delicate locket clattering on the floor. "I hate you!" she shouted, her voice cracking with the weight of her emotions.
Jay, momentarily stunned, watched as the necklace fell. His gaze softened as he picked it up, turning it over in his hands. The locket's surface glinted in the light, revealing a small, familiar photo inside.
"Mia...?" Jay's voice wavered, a flicker of recognition crossing his face.
Mia, breathing heavily, paused her attacks. The sound of her name coming from Jay's lips was like a balm to her wounded heart. She looked at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of hope and desperation. "Jay, do you remember? It's me... Mia."
Jay's expression was torn between confusion and dawning realization. He looked at the necklace, then back at Mia, his mind struggling to piece together fragments of memories. "This necklace... it's... familiar."
Mia took a tentative step towards him, her heart pounding. "It's ours. It belonged to us. We've been through so much together. Please, Jay, remember."
Jay's eyes welled with emotion as he stared at the locket, a slow but unmistakable recognition beginning to form. "Mia... I... I'm trying."
Daisy, observing from the sidelines, offered a supportive nod. "This is the first step. Sometimes, the smallest things can trigger the most powerful memories."
" Stop!" Ras cried.
Mia, fueled by a mix of fury and desperation, threw him aside with a powerful shove. He crashed against the wall, momentarily stunned, but Mia's attention was solely focused on Jay.
With the necklace in his hand, Jay's eyes cleared as he began to remember fragments of their shared past. The memories came flooding back—moments of laughter, of struggle, and of love. The realization hit him like a tidal wave, and he felt the weight of his actions and the distance he had placed between himself and his family.
"Mia..." Jay's voice was filled with emotion. He reached out, and Mia rushed into his arms.
In an unrestrained burst of joy, Jay spun Mia around, her laughter ringing out like a sweet melody. The tension that had gripped them seemed to dissolve as they embraced, the bond between them reaffirmed.
"I'm so sorry," Jay whispered, holding her close. "I didn't remember... I didn't know."
Mia giggled through her tears, clutching him tightly. "It's okay. You're back now."
Daisy watched from the side, her heart full of relief and pride. "This is what I hoped for. They needed each other."
Nya ran to Jay, and he hugged her too.
" I've missed you, Jay." She whispered.
Jay kissed her. " Me too."
