Kai

Jay was gone.

Dead, perhaps.

What had he done to himself?

Those were questions Mia asked herself everyday, in her room, moping.

She had no family left.

Jay was who knows where.

Kai was sucked into that spell.

Lloyd and the others were out on missions.

So there was no one to check on her.

She missed the days when she could cuddle up with Jay and do whatever she pleased.

Or hear stories from Kai and him feeding her because she was too depressed to do anything.

Or the way they both motivated her.

And how she and Kai made the club, ' Forgotten siblings'.

Well, they weren't really FORGOTTEN. It was just fun to make new clubs for no apparent reason.

She sighed, marking yet another day without her dear brother.

She could have gone to her parents.

But they were dead. Long gone.

When Mia was a toddler, they were in an accident. Jay and Mia were unharmed.

But their parents.... They were a different story.

Anyway, now Mia just laid in her room, depressed.

Just then, a shimmering light came from in front of her. Intrigued, she touched it.

As soon as her finger met the light, it became an orb.

There was a skeleton, wearing a jacket with no sleeves and a cross bag.

Next to that skeleton was a familiar figure.

" Kai?!" She exclaimed in her now weak voice.

Kai grinned and nodded.

" But how?!"

Kai shrugged. The skeleton, though, smiled.

" I thought you'd remember me." She said, tilting her head.

Mia thought for a second, then widened her eyes.

" Wait... you're the spell! The... the one who hugged me!"

" Is that all you remember of me?!"

Mia laughed. " No, Bonzle. No. I remember much more. But that's my favorite memory."

" Wait, you two know each other?" Kai asked.

Mia nodded.

" Yep. A long time ago, when I was a toddler, a wandering spell came to Master Wu. They spoke and all, and Wu told her about loneliness. Then, I wandered in. I watched her transformation and all, and then I hugged her."

Bonzle picked up. " I gave her a little magic, because, why not?"

Mia nodded.

" Wait... how did you manage to call me, anyway?"

" Bonzle here had a little bit of magic left, so she decided to call the one person who she gave magic to." Kai replied.

A striking idea came to Mia's mind.

" Hold on..." she said, grabbing the orb and walking to her crystal ball.

" Maybe... no, that wouldn't work... but what if...." Mia pondered, comparing the orb and magic ball.

" What? What are you thinking?" Kai asked.

Mia smiled. " If I have a bit of the spell's magic, I can use it, and the spell will come to me. Then, with both of us, we might have enough magic to bring you back!"

Kai shrugged. " It's worth a try."

Mia's heart raced as she studied the orb and crystal ball in her hands. Her room, filled with the cold air from the big fan, seemed to hold its breath along with her. She glanced at the pictures of kittens and her family on the walls, feeling a flicker of hope.

She set the crystal ball on her desk and carefully placed the orb beside it. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on the faint magic she remembered feeling from Bonzle years ago. She whispered an incantation Master Wu had once taught her, hoping it would amplify the connection.

The orb began to glow brighter, and the light from it started to merge with the crystal ball. Mia felt a warmth spreading through her fingers, up her arms, and into her heart. The room seemed to shimmer, and she opened her eyes to see Bonzle and Kai smiling at her, their forms becoming more solid.

"Keep going, Mia," Bonzle encouraged, her voice gentle yet firm.

Mia nodded, focusing all her energy on the spell. She imagined the bond she had with Kai and Bonzle, the times they shared, and the love they had for each other. The crystal ball pulsed with light, and Mia felt a surge of power flow through her.

With a final burst of energy, she shouted, "Return!"

A blinding light filled the room, and Mia felt herself being pushed back. When the light faded, she saw Kai standing in front of her, no longer a ghostly figure but real and alive. Bonzle stood beside him, her skeletal form now radiating a soft, magical glow.

"Mia, you did it!" Kai exclaimed, rushing to hug her.

Mia felt tears of joy streaming down her face as she embraced her brother in law.

Then, Mia beamed at Kai. "Let's surprise Nya!" she exclaimed. Kai nodded enthusiastically, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

They quickly formulated a plan. Mia found an old, large box and Kai crouched inside, ready for the big reveal. Mia called Nya, asking her to come over with the others, hinting that she had something special to show them.

When Nya arrived with Lloyd, Zane, and Cole, Mia greeted them at the door, her excitement barely contained. "I have a surprise for you," she said, leading them to the living room where the box was waiting.

Nya raised an eyebrow, curious. "What is it, Mia?"

Mia grinned and handed Nya the box. "Open it."

Nya hesitated for a moment, then lifted the lid. For a few seconds, she just stared, her brain processing what she was seeing. Then, as Kai popped out, her eyes widened in shock.

"Kai!" she screamed, her voice filled with joy and disbelief. She threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly, as if afraid he might disappear again.

The others stood in stunned silence for a moment before breaking into cheers and laughter. Lloyd clapped Kai on the back, while Zane and Cole exchanged grins of relief and happiness.

"It's good to have you back, brother," Nya said, her voice choked with emotion.

Kai hugged her back, his smile mirroring her own. "It's good to be back."

Then, without warning, Cole ran to him and hugged him tight.

"Hello, buddy. I missed you too!" Kai replied, hugging him back.

"You know, Mr. Hothead, you really gotta stop disappearing like that," Cole said playfully, crossing his arms.

"Well, Mr. Earthquake, it wasn't my fault," Kai replied, nudging Cole.

After the laughter and excitement began to settle, Kai turned to Mia, a serious look crossing his face. "Is Jay found? I really want to show that blockhead my tricks."

Mia's smile faded, and she shook her head. "No, Kai. We haven't found him yet."

Kai's shoulders slumped, and he looked at the ground. "I was hoping he'd be here," he murmured.

"We all miss him," Lloyd said, placing a comforting hand on Kai's shoulder. "But now that you're back, we'll have a better chance of finding him."

"Yeah," Nya added, determination in her eyes. "We'll keep looking until we bring him home."

Mia nodded, feeling a renewed sense of hope. With Kai back, she believed they could overcome anything, even finding Mia's missing brother. "We'll find him, Kai. I promise."
