GARMADON, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??
" It's a.... uh.... very.... personalized outfit, Garmadon?" Cole offered, trying to smile.
Jay nodded. " Yeah, what Cole said." Jay squeaked.
Lloyd groaned. " Dad, for the sake of my sanity, get out of Rumi's underwear!"
Garmadon struck a pose. " It's great for the camera!"
Lloyd blinked. " Uh, what camera?"
Jay and Cole looked around. " Yeah, there's nothing!"
Garmadon looked around with a confused expression. "No camera? But I was sure I had one for this photo shoot!"
Lloyd sighed deeply. "Dad, this isn't a photo shoot. This is just... well, our living room."
Garmadon scratched his head, looking slightly embarrassed but still holding the pose. "Oh. Well, at least I'm getting a workout in."
Cole chuckled nervously. "Maybe we should just... move on to something else?"
Jay nodded vigorously. "Yeah, let's just... uh, keep the fashion show to a minimum."
Garmadon finally relaxed and grinned. "Alright, alright. I'll change. But only because you asked so nicely."
As Garmadon exited to change, Lloyd and the others exchanged relieved glances. "Well," Lloyd said, "at least we got a good story out of it."
Garmadon emerged from his room, confidently strutting in a bright, floral bathing suit adorned with tropical patterns. His face was heavily coated in a vibrant shade of pink lipstick that could be seen from miles away. He looked around with satisfaction, clearly proud of his new outfit.
"Alright, everyone! Time to hit the mall!" Garmadon announced with flair, his hands on his hips as he posed dramatically.
Jay and Cole stood there, frozen in shock, their mouths slightly agape. The sight of Garmadon, their usually stoic and serious father, dressed like this was too much to process.
"What... what's happening?" Cole whispered, his eyes wide as he tried to make sense of the situation.
Jay shook his head vigorously, trying to snap out of the stupor. "I-I can't believe this!" He looked around in a panic, but Lloyd was nowhere to be found. "Where's Lloyd? He was just here!"
Cole tried to focus, looking back at Garmadon. "Maybe... maybe he's just having a moment? Like, a really extravagant moment."
Just then, Lloyd burst through the door, panting and looking flustered. "Guys! What's going on?" He stopped short, noticing his father's attire. "Dad? What are you wearing?"
Garmadon beamed with pride. "Oh, just my latest look! I thought it was time to try something new and fabulous."
Lloyd's face flushed with embarrassment and frustration. "Dad, you're wearing a bathing suit and lipstick to the mall! This is not a fashion show!"
Jay, finally regaining his composure, shouted with exasperation, "Your dad is wearing lipstick and a bathing suit to the mall! How do we even-"
Before Jay could finish, Lloyd snapped his fingers, trying to refocus the group. "Alright, everyone, let's just-"
"Wait!" Garmadon interjected, his hands raised. "I forgot something important. My shopping list!" He dramatically pulled out a crumpled piece of paper from his pocket, which only added to the absurdity of the situation.
Jay and Cole exchanged glances, both trying to stifle their laughter at the absurdity of the scene. Cole finally broke the silence. "Well, at least he's committed to the look."
Lloyd sighed heavily. "Fine. Let's just get this over with. We'll go to the mall and hope nobody notices."
Unfortunately, while walking, Garmadon spotted a salon with a big, bold sign that read "Hair Transformations!" and declared, "This is it! A new look to match my fabulous outfit!"
Jay and Cole followed, trying to keep their composure. "This day just keeps getting weirder," Cole muttered under his breath.
Lloyd sighed. "Dad, please don't-"
But Garmadon was already striding into the salon with a determined look. "Hello! I'd like a new hairdo, please. Something... dazzling!"
The stylist, a young woman with a friendly smile, looked at Garmadon and then glanced at Lloyd and the others, seeking a bit of confirmation. "Uh, sure! What kind of style are you looking for?"
Garmadon grinned widely. "Something bold and exciting! I trust you."
The stylist nodded, setting to work. After a while, Garmadon emerged with a new hairdo: a bright, almost fluorescent blonde, styled in an extravagant, spiky fashion. The color was so striking it was hard not to notice, and the spikes added a dramatic flair that didn't quite blend with the rest of his look.
Jay, Cole, and Lloyd watched in stunned silence as Garmadon turned to face them. His new hairstyle, while certainly eye-catching, didn't quite match the rest of his ensemble. The combination of the blonde spikes and the already eccentric bathing suit and lipstick created a look that was both bewildering and, to be honest, rather hideous.
Lloyd's face flushed with a mix of embarrassment and frustration. "Dad... that hairstyle... it's-"
"It's fantastic, right?" Garmadon said with a proud smile, completely oblivious to the reactions of his family.
Jay finally found his voice. "It's... uh... very... bright."
Cole added, struggling to keep a straight face, "Yeah, definitely... memorable."
Lloyd, trying to hold back a groan, said, "Let's just get through this and hope nobody we know sees us."
The group continued their mall adventure with Garmadon leading the way, his new hairdo adding an extra layer of absurdity to the already outrageous outfit. As they walked, Jay and Cole exchanged glances, trying hard not to burst into laughter at the sight of Garmadon's extravagant appearance.
Lloyd, meanwhile, focused on keeping his cool and navigating the mall, hoping that this surreal outing would come to an end soon.
As the group continued their journey through the mall, Jay, Cole, and Lloyd followed Garmadon with a mix of apprehension and curiosity. Their path soon led them to a cozy tea shop where Master Wu was seated at a table, enjoying a cup of tea and perusing a book.
Lloyd sighed in relief. "Hey, at least we found Wu. Maybe he can help us with this... situation."
Garmadon, spotting Wu through the glass, brightened up. "Oh, there he is! Perfect timing!" He strode over with a newfound swagger, his spiky blonde hair bouncing with each step.
Jay and Cole hurried to keep up, their eyes still wide with disbelief. "This is going to be interesting," Cole muttered, eyeing Garmadon's flamboyant appearance.
As Garmadon approached, Master Wu looked up from his tea, his eyes widening in surprise. Just as he was about to take a sip, he froze and nearly spilled his tea. "Garmadon?! What in the world...?"
"Hello, Wu!" Garmadon said, his voice filled with exaggerated cheerfulness. He struck a dramatic pose, showcasing his new hairstyle and ensemble.
Master Wu's eyes darted between Garmadon's new hairdo and the rest of his outfit. "Garmadon, what's with your hair? And... the bathing suit? And the lipstick?"
Garmadon waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, it's just a new look I'm trying out. Thought I'd mix things up a bit. What do you think?"
Wu looked momentarily flabbergasted, struggling to maintain his composure. "Well, it's certainly... unique. I must say, I wasn't expecting this when I came for a peaceful cup of tea."
Lloyd, catching his breath, added, "Yeah, we weren't expecting it either. We've been trying to keep up with... all this."
Wu tried to regain his composure, carefully placing his teacup back on the table. "Garmadon, as always, you have a way of making an impression."
Garmadon beamed with pride. "That's the idea! Now, what's been going on? I've missed so much."
Wu took a deep breath, trying to redirect the conversation. "Well, apart from your striking new look, we've had a lot to discuss. But first, maybe we should address the... fashion statement you're making."
Jay and Cole exchanged amused glances while Lloyd shook his head, muttering, "This is going to be a long day."
Despite the awkwardness, the group sat down with Wu, trying to make the best of the situation. Garmadon continued to chat animatedly, clearly enjoying the attention his new appearance was garnering, while Wu, with an occasional bemused glance, tried to navigate the conversation as best as he could.
As the conversation with Master Wu continued, Garmadon's eyes suddenly caught sight of a nearby store display featuring an array of elegant new dresses. His eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh, look at those! They're absolutely fabulous! I'm going to get some!"
Before anyone could react, Garmadon made a beeline for the store, his flamboyant outfit drawing attention from curious shoppers.
Lloyd's eyes widened in panic. "Dad! Wait!"
Turning to Jay and Cole, Lloyd quickly took charge. "You three stay here. I'm going after my dad." He sprinted after Garmadon, dodging through the crowd and calling out, "Dad, wait up!"
Jay and Cole exchanged looks of concern and disbelief. "This is getting out of hand," Jay said, shaking his head.
Cole nodded in agreement. "We should probably keep an eye on things here in case Garmadon needs any more... uh, assistance."
Meanwhile, Lloyd reached the dress store just in time to see Garmadon examining a particularly extravagant dress adorned with sequins and feathers. Garmadon was already holding it up to his reflection in a mirror, admiring himself with a satisfied grin.
"Dad!" Lloyd called out, catching his breath. "You don't need to buy more dresses!"
Garmadon looked up, slightly taken aback but still beaming. "Oh, come on, Lloyd! These are simply stunning. I have to add them to my collection!"
Lloyd ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "Dad, this is not the time for a shopping spree! We need to get back to Wu and-"
Garmadon waved his hand dismissively. "Relax! Just a few more minutes. You know how much I love fashion."
Lloyd sighed deeply, trying to maintain his patience. "Alright, fine. But let's hurry. We've got other things to do today."
As Garmadon continued to browse the dresses, Lloyd glanced back at Jay and Cole, who were now making their way over to the store, looking both concerned and amused.
"I hope this doesn't turn into a full-blown fashion show," Lloyd muttered under his breath, shaking his head as he tried to manage the increasingly chaotic situation.
**Story:**
As Lloyd tried to shepherd his father away from the dress store, Garmadon's enthusiasm only grew. He eagerly grabbed a shimmering blue dress from a rack and held it up, clearly excited. "Lloyd, I need your opinion on this one! Do you think it's too... bright?"
Lloyd, trying to stay patient, glanced at the dress. "Dad, we really should-"
But Garmadon was already in the dressing room, and a few moments later, he emerged in the blue dress and towering pink heels, which were a shocking 10 inches tall. He posed dramatically, twirling around. "What do you think? Fabulous, right?"
Lloyd blinked, taken aback by the sheer audacity of the look. "Uh, yeah, it's... quite something."
Garmadon, still beaming, didn't wait for a detailed response. "I'm going to try on a few more outfits!"
Before Lloyd could protest, Garmadon disappeared back into the fitting rooms. This time, he emerged in an even more striking outfit: a bright pink dress paired with heels that seemed to be an exaggerated 472,902 inches high. The heels were so tall they seemed to defy gravity and looked more like platforms from a sci-fi movie.
"Wow, look at these!" Garmadon said with a twirl, nearly toppling over as he tried to balance on the impossibly high heels. "What do you think of this look?"
Lloyd, trying hard not to laugh or cry, managed to say, "Dad, those heels are... uh, not very practical."
Garmadon seemed undeterred. "Just one more outfit!" he declared, and off he went again.
When he emerged for the third time, Garmadon was wearing a brown shirt with a large, glaringly inappropriate toilet emoji emblazoned on the front. He seemed particularly proud of this choice, as if he was showcasing a hidden gem.
Lloyd's eyes widened in disbelief. "Dad, seriously?"
Garmadon struck another pose, hands on his hips. "It's quirky! Don't you think it's a statement piece?"
Lloyd rubbed his temples, trying to keep his composure. "Alright, Dad. Let's wrap this up. We've been here long enough, and we still have things to do."
With a sigh of resignation, Lloyd led Garmadon back out of the store, the unusual outfits and towering heels causing quite a stir among onlookers. Jay and Cole, who had finally caught up, tried to suppress their laughter while offering sympathetic looks to Lloyd.
" Let's just go and do something else...." Jay whispered.
" For once, good idea." Lloyd sighed, and they slowly backed away.
Garmadon, though, noticed.
" Come on, the fun hasn't even started yet!"
