Friends Forever

Just so you know, I've incorporated Dumbasswriter17 in here

Her name is gonna be Annie

So... Lol yeah.

Mia paced outside the garage door and checked her watch.

Ann was supposed to be there an hour ago.

" Oi, where is that girl?" Mia muttered. " If I'm caught awake at three in the morning I'm gonna be dead."

Then, Annie's mom's car came. She rolled down the window.

" Hey, girl." Annie said.

Mia huffed and loaded her things. " Where were you?" She asked as she sat.

" Sorry. I had... Things."

" Oh." She watched Annie turn the engine on and roll away. " Do you have to fake ID's?"

Mia grinned and held two cards. " Got em."

" And passport?"

" Yup."

Annie smiled. " You really did think of everything."

Mia grinned. " Yeah. Heartlake, here we come!"

Annie raised her brows. " You sure about this?"

Mia nodded. " It's a five hour drive. We'll arrive after dawn."

Annie smiled. " Yep. That's my girl."

---------------

" A...are you s....sure th....is H...he...hea...rt l...ak...e?" Annic chattered, wrapping a blanket around her.

Mia made a small fire with her hands. " Yep."

She walked out, leaving Annie with the fire. She looked around, and saw a familiar blacked haired girl with purple dress.

" Em!" Mia waved, drawing the girl's attention. She dropped her sketchbook and pen and ran to Mia.

" Oh, you're here!" She cheered.

Then, she saw Annie. " Hey, Annie!" She waved.

Annie managed to smile. " Why's... It...co...old?"

Emma laughed. " Because it's winter, silly."

" It is?"

Emma shook her head. " No. More like someone planting air conditions everywhere. It's making a big mess of the place."

Mia nodded. " Where are the others?"

" The lighthouse. Come on!" Emma grabbed their hands and ran to the lighthouse, where Andrea was singing, Olivia was tweaking Zobo, and Mia and Stephanie were on lookout duty.

Emma led the way, pushing open the creaky door of the lighthouse. "Hey, guys! Look who I found!" she announced, pulling Mia and Annie inside.

Andrea stopped singing and looked up with a grin. "Mia! Annie! You made it!" she exclaimed, hopping off her makeshift stage and rushing over to give them both a warm hug.

"Of course we did," Mia said, smiling as she returned the hug. "We wouldn't miss this for the world."

Stephanie turned from her lookout post and waved. "Hey, you two! Glad you could join us."

Olivia looked up from Zobo, her face lighting up with a smile. "We've been waiting for you! What took so long?"

Annie, still shivering despite the fire Mia had made earlier, pulled her blanket tighter around her. "Long drive. And it's freezing out there!" she complained.

Mia laughed. "Yeah, it's colder than I expected. But we're here now, and that's what matters."

Stephanie nodded, her expression serious. "We've been keeping an eye out, but so far, nothing unusual. Just the cold. But it's definitely not natural."

Olivia's brows furrowed as she glanced at the instruments she'd set up around the lighthouse. "I've been picking up some strange readings. It's almost like the cold is being controlled, but I can't figure out how or why."

Emma sighed, her breath visible in the chilly air. "Whatever it is, it's messing with Heartlake, and we need to stop it."

Mia, always one to take action, stepped forward. "Well, we didn't come all this way just to stand around freezing our butts off. Let's figure out what's going on and put an end to it."

Andrea nodded in agreement. "I'm with Mia. We need to get to the bottom of this. It's not just about the cold—it's about saving Heartlake."

Annie, despite her shivering, mustered a determined look. "I'm in too. Let's do this."

Olivia quickly packed up her tools and stood, her face set with determination. "Alright, let's split up and investigate. We can cover more ground that way."

Stephanie pointed to the map of Heartlake that was spread out on a table. "We'll need to check the usual places—Emma, you and Mia should head to the forest. Annie, Andrea, you take the beach. Olivia and I will stay here and monitor things from the lighthouse."

Mia nodded, already feeling the familiar rush of excitement. "Sounds like a plan. Let's move out."

As they prepared to leave, Andrea placed a hand on Mia's shoulder. "Be careful, okay? We don't know what's causing this, and it could be dangerous."

Mia flashed a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Andrea. We'll be fine. We've got each other's backs."

With that, the group split up, each pair heading in a different direction. Mia and Emma made their way toward the forest, the trees looming ahead like dark sentinels. The air grew colder the deeper they went, but Mia kept her flames low, not wanting to attract unwanted attention.

As they walked, Emma looked over at Mia, her expression curious. "So, how have you been? We haven't had much time to catch up lately."

Mia shrugged, her breath puffing out in the cold. "Busy, as usual. But I've missed this—missed hanging out with you guys. It's nice to get away from everything, even if just for a little while."

Emma nodded, a small smile on her face. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Life's been crazy lately, but it's moments like these that remind me why we do what we do."

They continued walking in companionable silence, the crunch of snow underfoot the only sound. But as they neared the heart of the forest, Mia noticed something strange. The cold seemed to intensify with each step, but there was no wind, no snow falling from the sky.

"Emma, do you feel that?" Mia asked, her voice hushed.

Emma nodded, her eyes wide with concern. "Yeah, it's like the cold is coming from... there." She pointed to a clearing up ahead, where the trees seemed to bend unnaturally.

Mia's instincts kicked in, and she motioned for Emma to stay behind her. "Stay close. We don't know what we're dealing with."

As they approached the clearing, the cold became almost unbearable. Mia could see her breath freezing in mid-air, and even her flames seemed to flicker weakly. But she pressed on, determined to find out what was causing this unnatural chill.

When they finally stepped into the clearing, they saw the source of the cold—a strange, glowing crystal embedded in the ground, pulsating with an eerie blue light. The air around it was so cold that it felt like needles against their skin.

"What is that?" Emma whispered, her voice trembling.

Mia shook her head, her eyes fixed on the crystal. "I don't know, but it's not good. We need to find a way to stop it."

Before they could take another step, the ground beneath them began to shake. The crystal's glow intensified, and the cold became so intense that it felt like it was cutting through their very bones.

"Mia, we need to get out of here!" Emma shouted, grabbing Mia's arm.

But Mia stood her ground, her eyes blazing with determination. "No. We're ending this. Now."

With a fierce yell, Mia summoned all her strength, channeling her wind powers toward the crystal. The gusts of wind howled through the clearing, battling against the intense cold. Emma, seeing Mia's resolve, joined in, using her agility to help direct the wind.

The crystal's glow flickered and pulsed as the wind battered it, but it wasn't enough. The cold was too strong, too deeply rooted in the ground.

"We need more power!" Mia shouted, her voice barely audible over the howling wind.

Emma gritted her teeth, pushing herself to the limit. "Come on, Mia, we can do this!"

But just as it seemed the crystal might win, a new wave of warmth flooded the clearing. Mia looked up in surprise to see the others—Annie, Andrea, Mia ( other), Olivia, Stephanie, and even Zobo—rushing into the clearing, each using their own skills to weaken the crystal's power- Zobo and Olivia were holding a ginormous device, and the others were throwing rocks.

" Come on!" Mia yelled as she threw another rock.

Together, they focused all their energy on the crystal, and with one final, collective push, the crystal shattered, sending shards of ice flying in every direction. The cold dissipated instantly, replaced by a warmth that felt like a long-lost friend.

As the shards of the crystal melted away, Mia and her friends stood in the clearing, panting and exhausted but victorious.

"We did it," Emma whispered, a smile of relief spreading across her face.

Mia nodded, her chest heaving as she caught her breath. "Yeah... we did."

Andrea walked over, clapping Mia on the back. "That was amazing, Mia. You really saved the day."

Mia smiled, feeling a warmth that had nothing to do with the fire in her hands. "I couldn't have done it without all of you."

Olivia nodded, looking around at their group. "We're a team. And that's how we'll always win."

Later that day, after everyone had had some time to rest and recover from their earlier adventure, the group gathered back at the lighthouse. The warmth of the afternoon sun now filled the air, melting away the last traces of the cold that had gripped Heartlake.

As they sat around, sharing stories and laughter, Olivia suddenly looked thoughtful. She glanced at her friends and said, "You know, some people sometimes ask how we're friends. I mean, we're all so different. I'm all about science and tech, Emma loves art, Andrea's into music, Stephanie's the athlete, and Mia loves animals, Annie's all about safety and Mia, you, well... you're our fearless adventurer."

Mia leaned back, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yeah, we're different. But that's what makes it work, right? Friends aren't supposed to be exactly the same. They're supposed to back each other up, no matter what."

Andrea nodded in agreement. "Exactly. We're stronger because of our differences. We bring out the best in each other." She suddenly sat up straighter, her eyes widening in realization. "Speaking of which... I just got a message! Two baby seals are drifting out to open sea!"

Everyone perked up at the news, concern flashing across their faces.

"We can take Mom's boat," Andrea suggested, already on her feet and ready to go.

Olivia immediately turned to Zobo, who was perched on a table nearby. "Zobo, time to fly!"

Zobo's eyes lit up, and he chirped in his usual cheerful voice, "Happy birthday!" He then started to lift off, his small propellers whirring as he took to the air.

Mia chuckled, shaking her head. "It's not anyone's birthday, Zobo, but let's go save those seals."

Without wasting another second, the girls sprang into action. They hurried down to the dock where Andrea's mom's boat was moored. The sleek vessel was perfect for the rescue mission, and they quickly boarded, with Olivia navigating and Mia helping Andrea prepare the boat for launch.

As the boat sped out onto the open sea, the wind whipped through their hair, but the girls were focused. Olivia kept Zobo in the air, using him to scout ahead and locate the baby seals. It wasn't long before they spotted the two small, white creatures floating on a piece of ice, dangerously close to drifting out into the vast ocean.

"There they are!" Emma shouted, pointing toward the seals.

Andrea steered the boat carefully alongside the drifting ice, and Mia reached out, her hand steady as she helped guide the seals onto the boat. The little animals were frightened but unharmed, their big eyes looking up at the girls with what seemed like gratitude.

"We got them!" Mia announced, as the seals safely made it onto the boat.

Stephanie, who had been keeping an eye out for any other dangers, smiled with relief. "Great job, everyone. Let's get these little guys back to their mom."

With the seals safely on board, the girls headed back to shore. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm orange glow over the sea, and as they docked, they were greeted by the sight of the mother seal anxiously waiting for her babies on the beach.

The reunion was heartwarming. The mother seal nuzzled her babies, and the girls watched with smiles on their faces, knowing they had once again made a difference.

As they walked back toward the lighthouse, Mia looked at her friends, feeling a deep sense of gratitude. "We may be different, but when it comes to what matters, we're the same. We're always there for each other, and that's what counts."

Andrea grinned, nodding in agreement. "And that's why we'll always be friends, no matter what."

After the successful rescue of the baby seals, the girls were buzzing with excitement as they steered Andrea's mom's boat back to the dock. The warmth of the sun and the gentle rocking of the boat made the moment feel serene and peaceful. The seals were safely reunited with their mother, and the girls couldn't help but feel proud of their quick teamwork.

As they disembarked and made their way back to the lighthouse, laughter filled the air. The shared experience had brought them even closer together. Mia, who was walking alongside Emma and Andrea, looked up at the lighthouse with a contented smile.

"Ahhhh, that was nice," she sighed, stretching her arms above her head as they approached the cozy, welcoming building. The sense of accomplishment after a good deed and the companionship of her friends made her feel at ease.

"That was nice," the Wind Ninja echoed, walking up to the group with a knowing grin. "You all did great back there. It's not every day you get to save some seals and make a difference."

Mia turned to the Wind Ninja with a smile. "I couldn't agree more. It's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do—whether it's saving the world or just helping out where we can."

Andrea laughed. "And sometimes, it's both!"

As they all gathered at the entrance of the lighthouse, the two Mias shared a look—a mutual understanding between two brave, adventurous souls who, despite their different lives, understood the importance of friendship and teamwork.

The group headed inside, where the warmth of the lighthouse greeted them, and they settled down for some well-deserved relaxation.

The relaxation in the lighthouse was short-lived. Just as the girls were settling in, the Wind Ninja  peered out the window and frowned.

"Is it normal for a fish to want to be on land?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.

Mia looked at her quizzically. "No... Why?"

The Mia from Ninjago pointed out the window, where a fish was flopping frantically on the shore, clearly trying to escape the water. The sight was enough to get everyone on their feet in an instant.

They dashed outside and hurried down to the water's edge. Emma knelt down and touched the surface, her eyes widening in alarm. "It's warm. Too warm."

Olivia quickly followed suit, confirming Emma's observation. "Something's not right."

Without wasting a moment, they all turned to Andrea's mom's boat. Annie took the helm, her face serious as she started the engine. The Wind Ninja stepped to the back of the boat, summoning her elemental power. With a flick of her hand, she used her wind and water abilities to create a powerful current, propelling the boat forward at incredible speed.

As they sped across the unnaturally warm water, the air was filled with tension. The usual light-hearted chatter was replaced by focused determination. The water rippled and splashed around them, but the Wind Ninja kept them steady, ensuring they made swift progress.

"What could be causing this?"  Mia asked, her mind racing.

"We'll find out soon enough," the Wind Ninja replied, her eyes fixed on the horizon. "But whatever it is, it's not natural. We need to stop it before it gets worse."

As they approached the area where the water was most disturbed, the heat became more intense. The boat was moving swiftly, cutting through the waves, but the warmth of the water was unmistakable. Steam began to rise from the surface, creating an eerie fog around them.

"This isn't good," Annie muttered, her hands gripping the wheel tighter. "Whatever's causing this, it's close."

The Wind Ninja nodded. "Stay focused. We might be dealing with something bigger than we expected."

With the boat surging forward, they braced themselves for whatever awaited them. The once calm sea had turned into a mystery, and they were about to uncover its secrets.

As the boat neared the source of the disturbance, Wind Ninja Mia took a deep breath and announced, "I'll go down. I have wind powers. I can handle whatever's down there."

But other Mia shook her head firmly. "No way. We all go, element or not. We're in this together."

Andrea, standing at the helm, quickly added, "I'll stay on board. We don't want a repeat of last time." She shot a knowing look at  Mia, who nodded in agreement.

"Good point," the redhead, said with a wry smile. The memory of a past incident where things had gone awry when they all left the boat unattended was still fresh in their minds.

Brown haired Mia gave a brief nod. "Alright, but stay close. We don't know what we're up against."

With that, the group prepared to dive into the warm waters, each girl steeling herself for what lay beneath the surface. Mia made sure her friends were ready, while Miss Wind Ninja focused on the task ahead, feeling the currents around her, ready to control them at a moment's notice.

Andrea stayed on board, her eyes scanning the water as her friends disappeared beneath the surface. The boat rocked gently, but the tension in the air was palpable.

Underwater, the girls were met with a swirling mass of warm currents, making it hard to see clearly. The temperature was unnervingly high, and the deeper they swam, the more they could feel the unnatural heat.

"Stay together!" Mia yelled, her voice echoing in their minds as they pushed forward, deeper into the unknown.

They were about to uncover the source of the disturbance, but what they found would challenge their courage and test their bond as a team.

As they swam deeper, the tension was thick enough to cut with a knife. Suddenly, Emma piped up, "Think this would be a good time for some cheese?"

The redheaded Mia whipped her head around, her eyes wide with disbelief. "No!"

Olivia, shaking her head in exasperation, added, "Really, Emma? Now?"

Before Emma could respond, Mia with brown hair suddenly shouted, "I found something!"

All attention snapped to her as she pointed towards a shadowy figure half-buried in the sand below. The object appeared to be some sort of ancient, rusted machinery, covered in algae and barnacles. The water around it seemed to be the source of the unnatural warmth.

"What is that?" Mia asked, narrowing her eyes as she cautiously approached the object.

"It looks like some kind of old generator or...heater?" Olivia guessed, swimming closer to inspect it.

"Why would something like this be down here, of all places?" Redheaded Mia wondered aloud, still feeling uneasy.

As the group gathered around the object, it began to emit a low hum, vibrating slightly. The warmth intensified, and the water around them started to bubble ominously.

"Whatever it is, it's still active," Wind Ninja Mia said, her voice tense. "We need to figure out how to shut it down before it overheats and causes more damage."

Emma, who had been quiet for once, reached out to touch the object but quickly pulled back as it grew hotter. "Definitely not cheese-friendly," she muttered.

"Focus, Emma," Olivia said, though a small smile tugged at the corner of her mouth. "We need to work together to disable this thing."

Redheaded Mia nodded. "Everyone, get ready. We'll need all the help we can get to stop this."

With determination in their eyes, the girls began working together, using their unique skills and powers to try and disable the mysterious device before it could cause more harm to their world.

Wind Ninja Mia, the brown-haired one, took a deep breath and focused her energy. She extended her hand towards the mysterious machine, summoning her lightning powers. A bolt of electricity shot from her palm, crackling through the water as it made contact with the device. But instead of short-circuiting or powering down, the machine absorbed the lightning, glowing brighter and emitting even more heat.

"It's not working!" Wind Ninja Mia shouted, frustration evident in her voice.

Redheaded Mia, who was looking at the walls, swam up beside her. "If lightning won't stop it, maybe we need to shut it down the old-fashioned way."

"We need to push it out of here!" Olivia agreed, motioning for everyone to get into position. "If we can move it away from the sea life, we might be able to prevent further damage."

The group exchanged determined glances and swam into position around the object. With a collective effort, they all pressed their hands and shoulders against the heated metal, gritting their teeth against the searing pain. The warmth radiating from the machine was almost unbearable, but they knew they had no other choice.

"On three," Redheaded Mia said, glancing around at her friends. "One...two...three!"

With a synchronized push, they heaved against the machine, feeling it give way just slightly. The water bubbled and churned around them as they strained to move it. The device was heavy and rooted deep in the sand, but with every ounce of strength they could muster, they slowly began to shift it.

"Keep going!" Stephanie encouraged. "We're almost there!"

With a final, collective effort, they managed to dislodge the machine from the sand and push it several meters away. The water immediately began to cool, and the bubbling subsided.

They all paused, catching their breath and feeling the relief of the cooler water around them.

"We did it!" Emma gasped, her hands still tingling from the effort.

"But we need to make sure it's completely out of commission," Olivia said, still cautious. "We can't let it start up again."

Stephanie nodded, her determination renewed. "Let's get it out of the water completely. We can figure out how to destroy it once it's on land."

With that, the group rallied their strength once more, preparing to push the device up to the surface and out of the ocean, where they could deal with it once and for all.

* When they surfaced*

As Andrea gave one final, powerful heave, the machine broke the surface of the water, splashing onto the deck of the boat. She untired it and moved it to the table. Everyone else climbed aboard, dripping wet and panting from the effort. Stephanie, still catching her breath, turned to Olivia, who was examining the strange device closely.

"So... Olivia," Stephanie said, still a bit winded. "What exactly is this thing?"

Olivia crouched down next to the device, wiping away some of the grime and seawater to get a better look. The machine was covered in various gears, wires, and glowing panels that pulsed with a dim light. She adjusted her glasses and carefully studied the mechanism.

"It looks like some kind of environmental control device," Olivia explained, her voice thoughtful as she traced her fingers along the outer casing. "It seems to be designed to manipulate the temperature of the water, but I've never seen anything quite like this before."

The Wind Ninja, standing nearby with her arms crossed, added, "So someone put this here intentionally to heat the water? But why?"

"I'm not sure," Olivia replied, shaking her head. "But whatever the reason, it was causing serious damage to the ocean life. We're lucky we found it when we did."

Mia looked concerned. "We need to figure out who's behind this. If they're trying to warm the water, it could be a part of something bigger. We can't let them succeed."

Andrea nodded in agreement. "Right. We need to get this thing back to Heartlake City and see if we can learn more about who made it and why."

Emma, always thinking about food, hesitated before adding, "So... no cheese break yet?"
