Chapter 2- E
As Nya bolted from the room, her mind raced with questions. What was in those photographs? What significance did the wooden figures hold? And, most importantly, what had driven Mia to such desperation and anger? Nya knew she had to uncover the truth, but first, she needed help. Mia's outburst was beyond anything she had ever seen before, and the power of the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu was clearly corrupting her friend.
Nya hurried to the living room, her thoughts focused on who could assist her. She needed someone who understood the power of the Forbidden Spinjitzu and could help reach Mia. Lloyd and the other ninja would be perfect, but they were away on a mission. Her options were limited.
Then, she remembered Master Wu. His wisdom and experience with Spinjitzu and the Forbidden Spinjitzu could be crucial. Without wasting any more time, she grabbed her phone and called him.
"Master Wu, it's Nya. We have a serious problem with Mia. She has the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, and it's making her act dangerously. Can you come quickly?" Nya's voice was filled with urgency.
"Nya, stay calm. I'm on my way. Do not confront Mia again until I arrive," Master Wu replied, his voice steady and reassuring.
Nya paced the hallway, anxiously waiting for Master Wu. Every minute felt like an eternity. Finally, she heard the front door open, and Master Wu stepped inside, his expression serious.
"Nya, show me to Mia's room," he instructed.
Nya led Master Wu to the hallway outside Mia's room, her heart pounding with worry. "She's inside, Master Wu. I think the scroll has taken control of her."
Master Wu nodded, his face stern. "Stay back, Nya. Let me handle this."
He approached Mia's door and knocked gently. "Mia, it's Master Wu. I need to speak with you."
There was a tense silence, and then the door creaked open slightly. Mia's face appeared, her eyes filled with a mixture of fear and defiance. "Master Wu, I don't need your help. Leave me alone."
"Mia, I understand you're struggling, but this power you're wielding is dangerous. Let me help you," Master Wu said calmly.
Mia's grip on the scroll tightened. "No! You don't understand! This is the only way I can protect them!"
"Protect who, Mia?" Master Wu asked softly, his eyes full of compassion.
" Me! This is the only way I can protect myself! I wish I wasn't living in this cursed Monestary." As soon as those words left her mouth, she got an idea. With a satisfied smile, she smashed the door shut.
" That was interesting." Nya said, watching from a distance.
Wu adjusted his hat.
" Yes. It was. We should let her calm down, then try again."
Nya nodded, her mind still racing with the chaotic events that had just unfolded. She trusted Master Wu's judgment but couldn't shake the uneasy feeling in her chest. What had Mia meant about protecting herself? And why did she suddenly mention the monastery being cursed?
Master Wu placed a comforting hand on Nya's shoulder. "We will give Mia some space for now. However, we must remain vigilant. The Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu can corrupt even the strongest of wills."
Nya sighed, trying to push aside her worry. "I understand, Master Wu. But I can't just sit around and do nothing. There has to be something we can do to help her."
Master Wu nodded thoughtfully. "Indeed. Let us gather the others and formulate a plan. Mia is our friend, and we must do everything in our power to bring her back from the brink."
Nya followed Master Wu as he moved towards the living room, where she made another series of calls to the rest of the team. Soon, Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane arrived, their faces etched with concern after hearing Nya's urgent message.
"Nya, what happened? Is Mia really using the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu?" Kai asked, his voice filled with disbelief.
Nya recounted the events in detail, her words quick and filled with emotion. "I don't know what drove her to this, but she's definitely being influenced by the scroll. We need to find a way to get through to her before it's too late."
Jay frowned. "This doesn't sound like Mia at all. She must be really scared or desperate to resort to such measures."
Cole nodded in agreement. "The scroll can amplify negative emotions. We need to approach this carefully."
Zane, ever the logical one, added, "Master Wu, do you have any insights into how we might counteract the scroll's influence?"
Master Wu stroked his beard thoughtfully. "The Forbidden Spinjitzu is a powerful force, but it is not invincible. Mia's connection to the scroll is fueled by her emotions. If we can reach her heart, remind her of who she truly is, we may be able to break its hold."
Nya looked determined. "Then let's remind her. We can't lose Mia to this darkness."

Meanwhile, in her room, Mia was packing the necessary items. Food, water, clothes, small toys, and a picture of the ninja.
" I'm sorry, Jay." She whispered. " I have to go."
Then, she took off the tracking device on her watch and smashed it to bits.
This was it. Her time for escape.
As Mia continued packing her belongings, her mind raced with the gravity of her decision. She had to leave. She was learning nothing over here, and she learned long before that she wasn't welcome.
With a deep breath, Mia finished packing her bag and took one last look around her room. Memories flooded her mind, but she pushed them aside, focusing on the task at hand. She opened the window quietly, peering outside to ensure no one was around. The night was dark, and the monastery grounds were silent. It was now or never.
Mia climbed out of the window and carefully lowered herself to the ground. She took a moment to orient herself, then began making her way towards the forest surrounding the monastery. The shadows provided her with the cover she needed, and she moved quickly, her heart pounding with each step. She conquered a cloud and hopped on. With a weary kiss, she lifted the cloud into the sky.
It was time for her journey.
Back in the living room, the rest of the team was deep in discussion. "We need to find a way to reach her emotionally," Nya insisted. "Maybe if we remind her of all the good times we've shared, she'll snap out of it."
Kai nodded. "Mia's strong, but even the strongest of us can fall under the influence of something like the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu. We just need to show her she's not alone."
Jay looked worried. "What if she leaves? What if she decides she can't stay here and runs away?"
Nya's eyes widened with realization. "She might already be planning to do that. We need to check on her now."
Master Wu raised a hand to calm them. "Patience, everyone. We must approach this with care. Nya, Jay, come with me. The rest of you stay here in case Mia returns or if we need backup."
As they made their way to Mia's room, Nya's anxiety grew. When they reached her door, they found it slightly ajar. Nya pushed it open slowly, revealing the room in disarray. The open window immediately caught her eye. "She's gone," she whispered, dread filling her heart.
Master Wu surveyed the room. "She couldn't have gone far. We must find her before the scroll's influence leads her to do something drastic."
Nya, Jay, and Master Wu quickly exited the room, heading towards the monastery's perimeter. They spread out, each taking a different path in the hope of spotting Mia. The forest was dark and dense, making it difficult to see far ahead.
Nya's heart pounded as she moved through the trees, calling out softly, "Mia! Please, come back! We just want to help you!"
" Mimi! Where are you?!" Jay called, hoping to find her sister.
As Mia soared higher on the cloud, the monastery and its surrounding forest quickly shrank beneath her. The cool night air whipped around her, but she barely noticed. Her mind was consumed with conflicting emotions-fear, guilt, and a sense of liberation. She loved it.
Back at the monastery, Nya, Jay, and Master Wu continued their search, their voices growing more desperate as they called out for Mia. Jay's heart ached with worry. "Mia! Where are you?!" he shouted, his voice cracking with emotion.
Master Wu, always the calm presence, urged them to stay focused. "She can't have gone far. Keep looking. She needs us now more than ever."
Nya's anxiety grew with each passing moment. "We can't lose her, Jay. We have to find her before it's too late."
Jay nodded, his eyes scanning the dark forest. "I know. I can't believe she felt she had to do this alone."
Nya and Jay both felt the pang of guilt and confusion, unaware of the true reason behind Mia's departure. Mia had felt neglected and unseen, especially as Jay's bond with Nya deepened. Mia thought Jay no longer needed her, and that realization had driven her to take such drastic measures.
High above, Mia looked down at the world below, her heart heavy with the decision she had made. She loved her brother and her friends, but she couldn't shake the feeling that she was an outsider, that her presence was more of a burden than a blessing. Oh, if only her parents were alive! This would have been way better.
The moonlit landscape stretched out before her, a mixture of shadows and faint glimmers of light. Mia took a deep breath, trying to steady her thoughts. She had to stay strong, had to resist the pull of the scroll. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew she needed to be far from the monastery, far from the danger she posed.
Back on the ground, Master Wu sensed the urgency of the situation. "We need to broaden our search. Nya, Jay, gather the others and spread out. We can't let her get too far."
Nya nodded, determined. "We'll find her, Master Wu. We won't let her face this alone."
As they regrouped and planned their next move, the gravity of Mia's disappearance weighed heavily on them all. Each of them felt a deep sense of responsibility and a fierce determination to bring her back safely.
Mia, high above on her cloud, glanced back towards the monastery one last time. "I'm sorry, Jay," she whispered to the wind. "But I have to do this."
