Zane

It was a chilly day in the city of Ninjago, not that you or Zane could feel the cold.

The others had a whine to Sensei Wu, pleading to him about cancelling todays training session and moving it to another day.

Sensei had agreed, saying something along the lines of, "As long as you leave me alone to have some peace and quiet around here."

After having a small celebration, the ninja had then asked Zane if he could make his famous but rare hot porridge.

Your brother didn't see any harm in that so he had easily agreed and took you by the hand into the kitchen to help.

You, unlike your brother, weren't much of a cook. Your food was delicious, it was just the fact that you preferred going out and looking after gardens and reading in the soft grass than boiling over a stove.

If you weren't busy helping the ninja with their training, you would be in your room reading silently.

In fact, reading was what you were doing at the dinning table while Zane stirred at the porridge.

Flipping the page of your book, your (E/C) eyes scanned at the words, soaking in the details.

Zane looked away from his cooking and turned his attention towards you. "Would you like a drink, (Y/N)?"

Without looking up from your book, you gave him a nod, "Just water, please."

Zane gave your frame a smile before walking towards the cupboards and pulling out a glass.

He shuts the cupboard door and moves to the sink, filling the cup with cold water from the tap.

He then moves over towards you and places down the glass in front of you, "Here is your water."

Finally, you tore your gaze away from the book and looked up to your brothers eyes. "Thank you, brother."

As you take the water, Zane went back to stirring the porridge.

You watched him for a while, simply take in his presence and what a blessing he was in your life.

Although, after a few moments in your thoughts, your eye sight turned black but your (E/C) eyes glowed a bright aqua.

In a split second that the darkness took over your sight, it disappeared and was instead replaced with what looked like a memory, but what was shown, had never happened.

You watched what was happening, even through your confusion. Maybe this was hidden in my hard drive?

You silently watched the actions play. It showed Kai, Jay, Lloyd and Cole run quickly into the kitchen, breathing heavily.

"Zane! (Y/N)!" Jay cried as he took your brother by the shoulder, shaking him roughly.

"What is it, Jay?" Zane asks in confusion while prying Jay's hands off him.

"You can forget about the porridge!" Kai grinned and leaned on one of the wooden chairs.

"Sensei allowed us to go to Monster Amusement Park! Can you believe that?!" Lloyd stared wide eyed at the two of you, a smile on his face.

"He only agreed to it if we brought him along for the cotton candy..." Cole grumbles and crosses his arms.

After that scene, you were thrown back into reality. You head stung a little but was easily forgotten as Zane was gently shaking your shoulder.

"Sister? Are you okay?" He asks softly, concern in his eyes.

You furrow your eyebrows and rub your forehead. "I am, why? Was I acting out of character?"

Zane frowns and removes his hand from your shoulder, "You did not return to your book and your eyes were an unnatural colour."

You tilt your head slightly, "Were they? Maybe it had something to do with my vision..."

"Vision?" Zane questions with an eyebrow raised. "What did you see?"

You sigh as he goes back to stirring the porridge, his gaze still on you though.

"I don't know. It was not a memory as it has never happened." You started as you looked dowm at your hands.

"Jay, Kai, Cole and Lloyd had abruptly ran into this kitchen and explained that Sensei Wu had allowed us to visit the Amusement Park as long as he had got the sugar treat, formally known as cotton candy."

Zane nodded after your story, his brows furrowed im thought. "How peculiar." He mumbles.

Suddenly, both you and Zane had picked up on the loud footsteps of no one other than the four famous boys.

Jay had entered first, screaming out a "Zane! (Y/N)!" and, shockingly, grabbing onto Zane's shoulders, giving the ice ninja a shake.

"What is it, Jay?" Your brother asks and takes Jay's hands off his shoulders while you stared with an open mouth.

"You can forget about the porridge!" Kai grins, leaning on a chair close to you.

"Sensei allowed us to go to Monster Amusement Park! Can you believe that?!" Lloyd stared excitedly at the two of you.

"He only agreed to it if we brought him along for the-" Cole had started but was cut off by you.

"Cotton candy." You replied mpre to yourself then the others.

Cole looked towards you, almost shocked. "Yeah..."

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Lets go get ready! Woo!" Jay cheers and quickly runs back out of the room, the other boys following his steps until it was just you and Zane left in the room.

Zane had been staring at you for a few seconds before voicing his thoughts. "Was that your vision?"

You nodded softly amd looked up to him, "That was my exact vision."

"It seems my smoke was correct."

You let out a gasp of shock and turned around in your chair to stare at Sensei Wu. "Sensei?"

He smiles softly and limps over to the chair next to you. You watch as he takes a seat and places his staff on the table. "You, my dear (Y/N), have a very rare gift."

Zane, very intrigued in what was being said, turned off the stove and took a seat beside the old man.

"What gift Sensei Wu?" You ask him almost desperately.

He cracks a smile, it was hard to see behind the long beard. "You possess the element of vision. It can assist you during battle, as you can see into the future when needed. Not only that, but if you try hard enough and get the right training, you will be able to take away the sight of the enemy and make them see what you want them to."

"Like illusion, sensei?" Zane pipes in, awe in his eyes.

"Exactly, my student." Wu grins at Zane then back to you, "Training begins tomorrow. I will see you then."

Wu then stands up, grabs his staff and slowly walks out of the kitchen, leaving both you and Zane flabbergasted.
