"NIKKO!" I ran over and caught her as she fell, I can't believe I let this happen, I should have had her by my side the entire time....this is my fault....I remember exactly what happened.

~before this~
.:.Nikko's POV.:.

I was fighting my uncle, Chen, while Lloyd fought Clouse, I wasn't paying attention to what was happening except my uncle, then I got hit in the face and I fell, then I got up but heard Lloyd get hit in the face by Clouse, I turned around and saw, then I turned back around to punch Chen and run to help Lloyd, but when I turned, he was replaced by Pythor, then I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and yelped, I looked at Pythor's beady red eyes as he smiled and chuckled darkly, I looked down at my stomach to see a Vengestone dagger was pushed into my stomach, I looked back up at Pythor as he pushed me off the dagger, I saw the broken handle in his hand and he dropped it, then slithered backwards so he could watch.

I heard Lloyd yell my name and I felt someone catch me, coughed, I felt the dagger in my blood stream, I was bleeding a lot. What did I do?

~flashback over~

.:.Lloyd's POV.:.

I looked at the wound and saw what Pythor had done, I looked at Zane for help.

Everyone ran over and Zane looked at it, we didn't care about the villains getting away, Nikko was the main priority right now.

"The dagger is too deep, and we can not  move her or we will cause more damage" Zane said.

I looked at Nikko.

"I.....I'll be ok....go save the world" Nikko said then coughed.

I looked at the guys "go, I'll watch over her"

"No, you should go with them" Nikko said to me.

"Please, I can take care of her" I said.

They nodded and ran after the villains.

"Lloyd.....why-why did you d-do that?" Nikko coughed.

"Because I love you, and I won't let you die here" I said holding her close.

"L-Lloyd...."

"Yes Nikko?"

"Do......Do you remember when my dad first attacked you?"

I smiled "how could I forget the first time I met you"

~Morro's possession~

.:.Nikko's POV.:.

"So Wu chose you to be the green ninja? How pathetic!"

I watched my dad attack Lloyd, I was behind the serpentine statue, I didn't really care about Lloyd since he banished my uncle Chen to the cursed realm, when my dad possessed him, I came out and smirked.

"Where to now Father?"

"Now we go for the staff."

~in the cloud kingdom~

I had started to grow feelings for Lloyd, I saw what my father was doing to him and it was the same thing as me....my father was beating Lloyd, and I wasn't going to stand for it.

~that night~

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GAVE HIM THE SWORD!" My dad bellowed with anger

"I....I didn't do it....for....for y-your approval......I di-did it....to save the.....the 16 realms" Lloyd managed to get out

Morro slapped Lloyd

I gasped

Morro got ready to slap him again and I ran into the way of My father's hand, slapping me instead and me falling over

Lloyd looked at me shocked and Morro growled

"YOU BRAT!"

I said nothing as he stormed out

"Why did you do that?" Lloyd asked after a few minutes of silence

I smiled at him "because I care"

~the the tomb~

"HAND OVER THE REALM CRYSTAL! OR SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR FRIEND!"

I watched this go down, I couldn't stop him, soon Kai threw him the crystal and he dropped it, then Lloyd and I attacked my father and he blew us off, making us fall in the water, Kai jumped in and got Lloyd, he looked at me and swam to the edge, then I fell down the waterfall and Lloyd was safe.

~the war of the Preeminent~

I looked around the cursed realm for Lloyd, then my dad opened a portal and pushed me in, I was trapped, I wanted out, I would never see Lloyd again.

~3 years later (before Nadakan attacks)~

I got back somehow, when I woke up I was in the bounty....in the infirmary, I sat up quickly and winced.

"Whoa, it's ok Nikko, you're ok now" I heard a familiar voice say

I looked to see Lloyd smiling at me, I hugged him and we were finally together again.

~end of flashback~

.:.Lloyd's POV.:.

I smiled as she told me her perspective on the encounter, then I teared up as she started to fade "no, please don't leave me here alone Nikko"

She teared up and hugged me the best she could and started crying, telling me she loved me as she started to drift off into death, I tried to keep her there but soon she fell limp, the others ran over from defeating the villains and all of them except for Kai hugged me, Kai never cared about Nikko.....

And now he has his way.
