She and Lloyd go out to to the deck to see a storm forming. They go to the edge of the deck sitting on the edge. They both were silent until harumi spoke up. She sighed. Before she spoke up. "Hey lloyd, do you remember back when you didn't know who I truly was and we were over dead man's squall?" She asked. Lloyd smiled. As he recalled that moment since his father told him about it. "of course I do.." he started to say. As he tried to remember what his father told him then he remembered.

"Yeah it was when you asked me if I remembered my father when I was a child." .Harumi nodded. "Yeah." As the storm clouds started to form more, harumi started laughing. Having Lloyd confused. He raised a eyebrow. "Why are you laughing?" He asked her. "Oh sorry. I was thinking about how when we were above dead man squall and I tried to kiss you." she explained. Lloyd's face went bright red. 'W-What?' He thought, his father didn't tell him about that.

Harumi noticed him going quiet. "You okay? you seem sad." Lloyd sighed. "I'm fine. i'm just sad thinking about my father after what he did." Harumi sighed as she hugged the blonde boy. "I'll be here lloyd." When she said that it triggered a memory to lloyd.

Lloyd and harumi walked to the deck as a storm was happening. "My father told me they call this the Dead Man's Squall." Lloyd told harumi looking at the storm. There was silence until harumi spoke up. "Do you remember much about your father before he left you as a child? When he was...bad?" She questioned him.

Lloyd spoke his head. "No, not really. I was too young. What about your parents?" He asked. "Sometimes in my dreams, they're right next to me. It's like they're still here, but then I...—I...I..wake up." she said sadly. "You're not alone, Rumi." He told her, smiling putting a hand on her shoulder. Harumi smiled returning the gesture. "Either are you. I know it must be difficult to think they're trying to bring your father back."

"I can't imagine what must be going through your head. Whatever happens, I'll be here." she told him as she leans in to kiss him but he backs away. Lloyd freaked out and backed away. "Uh. I better go see what the—Um. I have to go, uh, that way." he stuttered as he leaves.

"Lloyd? Lloyd? Lloyd! Lloyd?!" Harumi shouted at the blonde hair boy. "Huh?" He asked as he looked around and saw harumi starting at him. He blinked. "Are you okay?" She asked. "You blanked out and were frozen and I was starting to get worried." Lloyd blinked before replying. "I'm fine I promise. I'm just tired, I promise." he told her. She smiled as she looked at Lloyd. "So Lloyd what's up? you seem like you have been so distant lately what's up? Is something wrong?"She asked.

Lloyd felt like he was being interrogated. Lloyd went quiet, harumi was getting suspicious. She looked at Lloyd who was staring off into space. Harumi remembered the talk nya was saying. But she didn't want to believe it. Lloyd couldn't be evil there was no way. Lloyd was the nicest guy ever! He would never.

Besides he hates garmadon so why in the name of his grandfather would he turn? it made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Pushing that thought aside she continued to look at the blonde boy in question who seemed to be lost in his thoughts. Harumi signed. As she gently rubbed his shoulder, "Lloyd?" She asked.

The boy looked at her his eyes blinking. "Sorry about that. I've just been so caught up in my mind lately." he apologized. Harumi smiled, "hey it's fine." she told him placing a hand on his shoulder. "We all have off days some more then others but there will always be people to help you through it." She said giving him a smile. He smiled back. "Thanks rumi." he told her. She smiled back. "it's really no problem, Lloyd." she told him as she looked around. Lloyd looked at her in confusion since it looked like she was looking for something. "Hey harumi you okay?" He asked her.

"Yeah I'm fine she told him. I was just thinking about how I started all of this and how I broke your heart." she mentioned. Lloyd sighed, even if he wasn't supposed to feel emotions, Lloyd felt sympathy for the girl and placed a hand on her shoulder. She gasped at this sudden interaction and looked at Lloyd with wide eyes. "Harumi as I told you before, it's fine you've changed and became a much better person. But even if you changed, i still love you either way. You're the best and I can't express how much you mean to me." he told her lovingly. She smiled as she looked at the ninja tears almost filling her eyes. "Thank you lloyd." she said as she hugged him.

"You're the best friend I could ever have." she said smiling. Lloyd smiled back. "No  problem rumi. And I mean everything I say because you're awesome!" He said punching her shoulder as a joke. She laughed as she looked at Lloyd. "Thank you for everything lloyd." she told him. "Rumi I promise, I will protect you from garmadon if it's the last thing I do." Harumi smiled. "Oh Lloyd." she hugged him again. "I hope skylor's alright.." she suddenly brought up. Lloyd sighed. 'Oh right the idiot who tried to take my father's powers.' he thought bitterly.

But knowing he still had to act good, he made it look like he had a sad expression. He sighed as his eyes dropped to the ground. "I know, I can't believe I let her get hurt on my watch. I must be the most terrible leader ever!" He complained to Harumi. Harumi sighed placing a hand on the blonde's shoulder. "Lloyd it isn't your fault. We  didn't know what was gonna happen so we couldn't know If skylor was gonna be poisoned like that it isn't your fault."

Lloyd looked at harumi his eyes coming up from the floor. "Thanks harumi." he said with a forced smile. He hated smiling. He didn't know why but he just did. "So how do you think we can get skylor back?" Harumi asked. Lloyd shrugged. "I don't know we tried everything! A certain someone even brought up hitting." he brought up in a stern tone. Harumi's face went red. "I said I was sorry about that!" She told the blonde boy, who smiled. "Rumi it was a joke." he told her. Harumi bit her lip. "Oh sorry." she said, rubbing the back of her head. "I have a tendency to overreact." she told him. Lloyd nodded in understanding. "I know you kicked me in the shoulder to wake me up when I was back in the dungeons." he told her. Harumi nodded. "yeah I'm sorry about that." she apologized once again.

"Harumi like everything, I promise it's fine you were a different person back then. But you've changed for the better." He told her. "Yes because you helped me change Lloyd. You believed in me. It's  because of you that I am who I am right now on this day and I couldn't be happier being away from garmadon and his stressful orders! 'Get the green ninja!' ' Where's the green ninja!?' 'Why haven't you captured the green ninja!?' ' Are still in love with him and that's why your not getting him?!" She imitated in a rant. Lloyd laughed slightly.

And soon harumi laughed as well. They were both hysterical on the floor. Soon when it calmed down, Lloyd asked her if she had any plans later that day. Harumi shook her head. "No." she started. "I don't but if you want we can do something again later."  she told him with a smile. He smiled back, "of course I love spending time with you." he said with a smile. Harumi smiled again and it felt like she smiled more in this day then any other day in the world she smiled.

So that was actually a record for her. She looked at Lloyd, then at the sky. It was gonna storm soon. Harumi wasn't a fan of storms. As a child it freaked her out to no end but she couldn't help it, it  wasn't her fault. Looking at the sky she knew they would need to head in soon or else they might be caught within the lighting. She didn't want that to happen. She cared about Lloyd so much she couldn't begin to explain how much. She looked at the blonde boy and for what felt like the millionth time he was in his thoughts,

Harumi saw the storm clouds getting closer knowing that was a sign she decided it was time to go in. She shook Lloyd's shoulder and as she came back, he looked around, "w-what?" he asked her. Harumi pointed to the storm clouds that were coming closer, Lloyd knew what it meant and he headed towards below deck, harumi followed behind. Not before looking at the clouds one more time as it triggered a memory from her childhood.

Harumi was in her room reading. Her room was quite messy. Books were scattered on the floor along with some of her toys. Her favourite teddy bear was face down on the ground while some of her other toys were all around her room. She made a mental note to clean her room tomorrow. The problem was she was a procrastinator and she hated doing things. As much as she wanted to clean it, she also wanted to keep reading. This book was one of her favorite stories it was about how the ninjas were battling these skeletons dudes but also about this Lord Garmadon Character. She didn't know who it was but from the drawings, he was a tall four armed man with a bone helmet. Dark scarlet eyes, you  could see his rib cage and his skin was like a snake's.

If she could be honest, this man freaked her out. She didn't know why but maybe it was because he looked terrifying. She gulped looked around wanting to get her mind off that subject and focus on happier things like her teddy bear. Speaking of which, she went over and grabbed Strawberry from the floor and cuddled with it. She had strawberry since forever and she was never gonna let it go. Setting her bear down she continued to read her book when suddenly the lights went out.

She was confused, gaining over to her lamp and tried to turn it on but to no avail. 'Huh?' she thought. Do cities usually have power outs? She wouldn't know due to just moving here last week. She sighed as she went to go grab a flashlight when a big boom was heard across the city. Tears filled harumi's eyes. "W-what was that?" She asked. She didn't like that sound, it sounded scary to a six year old. As she was caught up in her thoughts, another boom was heard and harumi jumped under her blankets. Was this it?

Was it Lord Garmadon coming to kill her? Was a nuclear war happening? What was going on? Harumi got more and more frightened as the booms continued and not being able to hold it in any longer, she started to cry out of fear. Soon doors were heard opening and footsteps coming closer to her room. As the door was opening, "Harumi?" A voice asked. She tensed up thinking it was garmadon coming to take her away, she curled into a ball. As she whimpered and cried harder. It was then her blanket was removed and when harumi looked up there standing by her bed wasn't Lord Garmadon.

It was her parents who looked concerned. Harumi sniffled. "Harumi are you okay?" Her father asked in a gentle tone. Harumi still in fear shook her head. "N-no what is that outside is a war happening? Are we being attacked?" She asked. The two parents looked at each other. As her mother lifted her into her arms and headed towards the window. Harumi was confused at first when the big boom happened again and in the Sky was a bright light. In harumi's opinion, it was actually kinda pretty, she liked it, forgetting about her fears she turned towards her mom.

"What's that?" She asked as she looked at the sky. "It's lighting. Not a war." she corrected her daughter. "Can it hurt us?" harumi asked looking at the sky. "Only if you're outside but we are safe being inside I promise." she told her daughter. As harumi watched the lighting, she looked at her mother. "You promise?" she asked reaching her hand towards her. Her mom smiled. "yes harumi I promise."

"Harumi?" A voice asked, snapping the former quiet one out of her thoughts to be faced with Nya. Who looked concerned about her. "You okay?" She asked her. Harumi nodded. "Yeah sorry I'm fine. I was just having a memory about when I was younger with my parents." she said the last sentence making her sad. Nya places a hand on the girl's shoulder.

"Hey harumi it's okay. You have all of us now. We will never betray you." she told her. Harumi smiled. "Thank you nya." she told her as she looked at the sky that was getting darker. "We better head inside it's about to storm." she told nya. Who looked at sky then back at the quiet one. "You're right, come on let's go to my work shop and talk there." she told harumi heading there. Harumi wanting to talk to nya, gladly followed behind her. Passing by people in the way. "Hey Harumi, hey nya."  Violet greeted as they walked past. Harumi smiled at them and waved back. "So what are you up to?" Nya inquired.

"Oh just hanging around."  killow said as violet  twirled her sai around. "What have you two been doing all day?" Harumi asked. "Honestly she's been doing that for hours." killow admitted to the two. Harumi let out a small giggle. As Nya spoke. "If you guys want you can come with me and harumi, we are gonna go hang in the workshop on the bounty." She offered. Killow was about to answer when violet spoke up. "yes! please! it's something to do! We can't do anything with all the rain going on."  Harumi giggled. "Come on then!" She said as the four started walking to the workshop. When they were there, they all looked at each other and  sat on the floor. "So what now?" Harumi asked.

Nya shrugged. As she looked around at the workshop, she started to laugh. "What's funny?" Harumi asked. "Sorry I was just thinking about the time I was trying to teach Lloyd how to fix something and as he did, he accidentally bumped into the wall causing a bucket to fall on his head." She explained a short summary. Killow laughed. "Wait what?" He asked. "Yeah. Oh man, I remember when Lloyd was younger and before he was declared the green ninja, We hung out a lot. I remember when I tried teaching him how to use make up and I left for five minutes and I come back to see Lloyd's face is red. Meaning he colored his face with the lipstick it was so funny I looked at him, and he was like: 'um Nya I don't think I did this right.' he told me."

"I laughed as I wiped it off. It took nearly a hour to get it off but still then his face was red!" She finished. The three former generals laughed as Nya told them. "Lloyd was such a sweet kid. He really was I feel bad he had to suffer at a boarding school for bad boys." Harumi raised a eyebrow. "What do you mean?". "Lloyd he was left at a boarding school for bad boys where they taught the kids to become evil masterminds." The water ninja said. " How come lloyd never told me about that?" Harumi asked. The raven haired girl stuck her tongue out. "Maybe he just doesn't love you enough." She joked. Turning Harumi's cheeks to a light shade of pink. Nya sighed. "He doesn't like talking about it." giving out the real reason.

"For some reason he never speaks a word about it as if he's afraid I think something happened at that boarding school and the staff threatened Lloyd to stay quiet about it or else. I mean if you even bring up the school name lloyd will freeze for ten seconds then run out of the room in tears." Nya mentioned. The three former generals' eyes widened. "Are you joking?" Killow asked. Nya shook her head. "I wish I was but I'm not." she said as she sees Lloyd walking out in the hallway. "Watch this." she told them. "Hey Lloyd can I tell you something?" She asked.

Lloyd smiled as he walked into the room. "What's up?" He asked. Nya sighed, hating herself for doing this. "Nya?" He asked. She sighed. "Darkleys school for bad boys." Just like nya said, Lloyd froze then he ran out crying. She turned towards the generals. "See I told you! Something happened at that school and...... and.." she started to stutter. "I know but how are we gonna get lloyd to spill the beans when he locks up each time  you say the school's name?" Harumi asked concerned.  "We will find a way there is always a way." she told them. The three former generals smiled. "So have any theories of what might of happened?" Killow asked.  "Hmm I do have some." she admitted. "One of them being child abuse."

"It seems likely since lloyd gets so afraid hearing the name but there could be others he said to them." Harumi thought as she came up with one. "How about bullies? I mean I know I've dealt with some back in my school days but what do you think?" She asked. "That is another likely thing bullying can do anything to the victim. And threaten the victim not to tell anyone." Killow nodded. "that seems like a likely option again." he told harumi. "I know! I don't understand why they would do this lloyd? I mean imagine how old he was it could've been traumatizing." violet said to them.

"I agree. Lloyd's been through a lot. Having his father be a victim of the great devour, a snake pushing your father into the ocean to kill him.." nya told them.  "A snake did that?" Harumi asked. Nya nodded, "yeah Pythor did it when he was working with the overlord." she was explained.  "Wait so Pythor is good?" Harumi asked. "Well I'd refer to him as chaotic good for now. But Yes, he turned good all the serpentine did. In fact All the serpentine, after the devour was released, believed Pythor was crazy! Because he thought he could control that giant snake!"  Nya explains. "He thought he could control it?" Killow asked. Nya nodded. "Or that's what lloyd told me after we got him back when he was captured by the serpentine."  Harumi raised a eyebrow. "could you tell us what he said?" She asked. Nya nodded. As she started, the generals were surprised. "Woah they did that?" Violet asked.

Nya nodded. As she smiled but even through that Lloyd stayed positive like he always does. Harumi was about to ask something when, "can everyone come to the meeting room to discuss?" Mistake intervened. The people in the room headed there straight away.  When there, they all managed to squeeze into the room. Everyone was talking and the others were still coming into the room, Finally, once everyone was in the room, lloyd coughed, gaining everyone's attention. Everyone looked at the blonde haired boy who stood in the front of the room.

Once everyone went quiet, lloyd smiled. As he turned to face everyone. "Alright, hello everyone he started to say." Everything was quiet until lloyd started to speak again. "as you all  know, despite some mishaps and some complications... We have managed to free the rest of  the resistance out of  prison. But unfortunately our attempt to control the giant failed and sklor is positioned. Does anyone have idea ideas on how we can save Skylor or try to take down garmadon?"  he requested. Everyone was silent, not moving until harumi was brave enough to raise her hand. "Yes harumi?" He asked. "Well back when I was who I was, i hid the oni masks somewhere in my old room. So maybe if we get the masks we would be stronger than him. But i don't know what would happen if you put on the mask. It could change you." Lloyd thought about it as he looked at the wall.

"Hmmm.." he thought. "I'll keep that idea in mind, anyone else?" he asked. "I don't know lloyd. But he's gotten more and more powerful each day i think we need to focus on what would be his weakness." The police commissioner told him. Lloyd turned towards harumi. "Hey rumi? do you know what would be garmadon's weakness?" He asked her. The blonde haired girl shook her head. "I'm very sorry but I have no idea. The only weakness i can think off  is when you were younger. You were his weakness."

Lloyd sighed. "There has to be something that weakens him!" He told them. "Would vengestone work?" Tox asked him. Lloyd shook his head, "he may be a elemental master but i don't think chains could hold him. Unless..." lloyd started. "Unless what?" Dareth asked. "Unless we were able to take him down and get him alone. If we do, while someone distracts him, a group of people could tie the vengstone around his  arms and all around him. Then maybe harumi, using the mask of hatred, could maybe knock him out and we could bring him to the old sog lair and put him in the cell you put cole in after his failed mission to infiltrate you. Then we could interrogate him and ask him questions to try and figure it out. But knowing him he's stubborn so he wouldn't give it up so easily. But hey at least we have a plan!" Skaidlor said. Lloyd nodded. "So what about the giant?" Nya asked.

"Um we are gonna hold off on doing anything with that. You saw what happened to skylor, I don't want anyone else getting hurt." Someone replied. Nya huffed and headed out of the room. "What was that about?" Tox asked. Lloyd sighed. " I'm guessing she wants to go after the giant. Meetings adjourned. " he told everyone as they all headed outside. Harumi smiled seeing lloyd in the deck looking at the stars.

She headed over and tapped him on the shoulder causing him to jump. "Oh rumi I didn't know it was you..." he said as he looked at the white haired girl. Who smiled in return. Harumi was gonna say something else when Lloyd looked down at the streets and saw nya headed towards the giant. "NYA!" He exclaimed. Harumi wondering what he was talking about, looked down and saw she was planning to attack the giant. "We have to go tell everyone!" She told lloyd who nodded. 'Oh nya why?'
