The sun started to rise, but as everyone was asleep, in their bed tucked under their covers, the sun rose higher as the flowers started to bloom and many colors were blooming around them. Rumi however wasn't asleep, since she was reading a book, as she was sitting in a chair. She saw the cloud was still asleep. With the time for herself she thought about zephyr. " it doesn't make sense" she started to think. "One moment he's nice and sweet but then I catch him staring at me", and it's almost like he's glaring at her.

Everything was so frustrating. She wanted everything to make more sense, she didn't know why she was here in the first place, she felt like she didn't belong there at all, she control her powers, the little miss emotion and she could probably kill someone, and she never wanted that to happen.

As she was in the middle of her dialogue she didn't hear the door opening, and footsteps approaching. She was looking out the window, when suddenly felt hands on her shoulder she gasps as she jumped out of her chair a beam of destruction cam out of her hand, only to see Lloyd standing there hands up in a surrender motion. "Sorry Rumi"

Harumi started to calm down. She looked around and saw her room for the torment now had a ripped up wallpaper from the destruction beam. Her face went red, and she looked away. "H-Hey"

The blonde chuckled at her behavior, and kissed her on the forehead, he then pulled her to the cafeteria where the delicious smells were everywhere, hmm she smelled many good breakfast foods like: cinnamon rolls, pancakes, waffles, and so much more. She smiled, after she got her food, and sat down along with Lloyd and the ninja minus Jay.

As they began to eat, the breakfast was oh so rudely interrupted by Matis as he came into the room, and everyone turned to look at the man. He seemed to have a slim figure, he was leaning against a wall, hair was covering the half of his face, and his eyes he wore a jacket with a tee-shirt underneath, along with some blue jeans, and white sneakers.

He blew some hair out of his face. At first glance many would say he didn't look like a soon to be adult he looks like one of the cool popular kids who hung out behind the dumpster with sunglasses on, and chewing bubble gum.

"It's time for the next event, or whatever" he announces Harumi takes note that his voice did sound like a teenager. it sounded almost slow, and moody. She decided to investigate him later to find out more about the boy, for he could be an enemy as well.

Outside in the arena, all the competitors all gathered around, as Zephyr announces the competitors for the next match. Zephyr greeted them the usually way, with a smile, as he waved them all inside. "Good morning, fighters!" Who's ready for the next event!" He called, as everyone was cheering in response.

"Before I explain the event, can the elemental master of Amber, and Mental come forward?" The two looked at each other, before they went and headed to the place where zephyr was above them. They were then handed roller skates, they looked at each other confused.

"we will be going to an event similar to Master Chen's event called: thunder blade! Same rules, but there are no teams, and three people will be eliminated! Now everyone go get your skates and then we will begin!

Rumi got a little nervous she had never skated before, so she was probably going to be the last one and get out, she sighed, she was in trouble. They all headed to a little stand that was the place they were to get their skates from and everyone was getting their respective color, she had white skates with a purple outline with sparkles.

Harumi sat up from the bench as eveyone started going out to the arena. She took a deep breath, and attempted to get up without falling, and it worked!...... for the first few seconds. She lost her balance and started to fall when, suddenly she felt herself getting caught, she looked up and there was Lloyd helping her up.

"Lloyd?" The blonde chuckled and slung her arm over his shoulder. "Looks like you could use a hand" he said as he gave her a wink. Rumi's face went bright red, as he began to lead her out into the arena where the others were waiting.

As they were nearly there harumi groaned, "I don't like the look of this Lloyd". She sighs as looks as the lights are all around them. "I can't skate!" She looked down as Lloyd pulled her into an embrace. "Don't worry, Harumi I'll help you out" he promised

Harumi shook her head. "B-but, what about the event! It's a competition!" She practically screamed. The blonde shook his head, "competition or no competition, I'm helping you and that's final" he said leaving no room for argument.

The girl blushed as she smiled, and kissed his cheek, "I don't deserve you" the blonde smiled and held her close. "Of course you do" he kissed her cheek as he helped her get to the starting line.

Zephyr smiled " Most laps before the time runs out wins. Loser is out. Thunderbladers on your mark, get set, good luck to everyone!" The timer started to count down and harumi is breathing heavily, as she sees everyone looks so confident, while she feels so nervous inside. She took a deep breath "I can do this"

As soon as the timer reaches zero everyone took off and harumi was failing her arms, as she went to try and hold onto the wall she accidentally made the wheels go forward and she took off not of her own will. Rumi started to scream as she was going past people, and accidentally knocking people over, she went red in embarrassment. "I'm sorry!" She yelled as she continued going down the track.

Harumi was screaming as she was moving she thought she was gonna fall over, and when she unknowingly finished her second lap, since she was covering her eyes. Nya accidentally got really close to her and knocked her down on her butt as she groaned in pain. "Ouch"

As she tried standing up she couldn't, and was about to give up when a certain blonde, and raven haired girl came over and helped her up. "Here harumi we'll help you!l Nya said as they helped her up and began skating again.

Harumi looks away, "I'm such a bad skater". Lloyd turned and looked at her, "Hey not everyone is good, their first time doing something" encouraged her, with one of his bright smiles, that made her blush oh so hard.

The two helped her, and soon enough harumi was getting the hang of it, and soon she was skating to a beat she sung in her head, unfortunately she wasn't prepared for what was gonna happen next. Lloyd and Nya nodded at each other before, Lloyd grabbed her hand and flung her towards the starting line as she was screaming:

"LLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYD!" she screamed as eveything was starting to get blurry and dizzy she groaned and held her head. "Ugh I don't feel so good" she held her head as Lloyd came over and helped her up as she gave a sheepish grin as Harumi glared at him.

He chuckled nervously, as he rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry, I guess I just got caught up in the moment he apologized. Harumi sighed there was no way she couldn't stay mad at him, he was so adorable, when he had that nervous face.

"It's fin—" she started to say when suddenly Lloyd pushed her out of the way. "Look out!" He yelled. As a vehicle then sped past them, rumi gasped. "Oh my goodness, this a dangerous game" she muttered, as she was helped up and the competition continued.

The competition was getting very heated, and Harumi saw many people were using their powers in the event but she didn't trust herself and just did without them, when Harumi looked up she saw the timer had about a minute and thirty seconds left she gasped ans picked up the pase.

When suddenly Lloyd drove over to her, he had taken the buggy that almost looked like a racing car with all the stuff on it. He smiled: "Need a lift?" He asked Rumi to smile as she started to climb on nearly falling but luckily Lloyd caught her and pulled her aboard, as the timer went down to six seconds it didn't seem like they were gonna make it but as the time reached zero Harumi, and Lloyd reached the finish line.

Everyone watched as Zephyr and his lackeys were counting up the score after a few minutes, he looked at everyone, the three who were not going to the next round were........ there was a moment of silence, until he smiled and looked at everyone:

"Camille master of form" a groan was heard from the crowds, and harumi was on pins and needles waiting. "Tox master of Poison" Harumi looked at Lloyd, who looked back at her as they went and held hands as the final name was announced to everyone:

"Neuro master of the mind" Harumi released a breath she was holding in as She and Lloyd were hugging each other tightly happily. "Now if you three would you and get your stuff the boat will be at the docks to take you home" the three walked away, and Harumi watched.

She felt bad that they had to go but something inside her told her there was a reason she had to stay in the tournament, and soon she believed she'd figure that out.

Hello everyone! Jdizzle, I hope you enjoyed that chapter, man that was the longest one I made in this arc so far, I mean man it took me a couple of days but hey what matters is I finished it! I would've finished it sooner but ugh school work.
