Sensei wu's P.O.V.

Cole was a strong leader. Part of being a good leader is to listen to others and to take everyone's opinion to an account.

He did that and so much more. He was calm cool and collective. He saw things that others didn't, he also brought the best out of whoever was with him.

He thought of nothing but to complete a mission that was set before him, there was very few things that distracted him.

There was one thing that stopped him from completing a mission and that was to stop to see if his fellow ninja were alright and safe.

He would never enter a battle without setting up a gameplay strategy. He assessed the enemy lines and found the weaker areas in the defenses. Bringing out a flawless victory every time.

I wouldn't call this as a weakness but it took its heavy toll on him. Cole cared too much, and with unbalanced emotions this made him dangerous.

His disliked to feel emotion, thinking it made him weak. 

So he kept all emotion inside, where it festered and he didn't know what to do with  it all

so he locked it away in the small corner of his mind. And kept his eyes on training and spending time with his brothers.

When I found Cole on the summit of Wisdom's Peak, he was a free-spirited young man. With many worries and regrets, none of which I know about.

After I took Cole in to teach him the way of the ninja, I later recruited a young man named Jay Walker. After a few days they were best friends, joking around and being regular teenagers.

With Jay's colorful personality and Cole's relentless determination, they brought out the best in one another. They trained together and played video games.

When I recruited Zane Julien. he wanted to know more about his past which I could not give him the answers he wanted  but he accepted my invitation of becoming a ninja.

Cole took Zane under his wing a taught him a lot of stuff, he also took a task to help Zane find his sense of humor. A difficult task indeed.

Soon after two weeks of training, Jay Zane and Cole had bonded and fought flawlessly with each other and I gave them their final test,

Of fighting my final ninja in training, Kai Smith. I told them if they could draw the fight to a stand-still they would be ready to fight the skulkin army.

They fought well, there was still room for improvement. There is always room for it. I told them to be at peace and they relaxed,

Kai Jay and Zane broke sweats and there breaths were heavy. Cole had maintained his blood pressure to a calming state.

I had showed them the art of spinjiztu and gave them a ninja garb, Zane in white embellishing his power of ice.

Jay in blue embellishing his power of lightning.

Kai in red embellishing his power of fire.

Cole in black embellishing his power of earth.

Soon they became a great team of brothers, after assisting in saving Nya, Kai's little sister, they were in hot pursuit of Samukai and his skeleton army.

and little by little, Cole let his emotions show from time to time.

After failing to catch my brother as he escaped through a portal that led to who knows where Ninjago was at peace. For now.

Still for now cole Kai Zane and Jay play  video games. I guess this could be a use for a team building exercise. This Cole said.

He made a good negotiation. One of the key parts of being a leader is to be able to interrogate without losing cool.

He soon learned how to let his brothers take the lead at times. He knew their strengths and weaknesses. And with a strong leader makes a strong team.

When a new threat came to Ninjago, in the form of my nephew. Lloyd Garmadon I feared my ninja would neglect their duty of peace keepers and be immature boys.

I was proven wrong when they learned from the mistake. As I have said, "a lesson learned the hard way is a lesson learned none the less."

But in the ninja's happiness and joy of defeating the hypnobrai and the stealing of their staff. They dropped their guard letting one of their own get entranced.

Well, half hypnotized as Cole fought off Slitherarah, the leader of the Hypnobrai for the staff. Slitherarah retreated when Cole retrieved the staff. Out of nowhere Skales, Slitherarah's commanding officer stepped in and hypnotized Cole.

If it hadn't been for Nya's quick thinking Cole would've been able to be in Skales full control.

This all I didn't notice until I heard about Lloyd's tree house. Nya and I flew on Flame to see and what I saw was enamoring.

Three battered, bruised ninja standing on top of a hazardous tree house. For awhile I couldn't see Cole.

But I saw him as he was about to cut the last tether that held the broken remains of the tree house up.

I did the only thing that came to my mind. I played the sacred flute of my father. Awakening Cole from his trance.

He let the feeling of fear.... The fear of what if. What if he had seriously harmed his brothers... The people who trusted him

Saying that he thought he could fight the urge, I kept telling him that no one could break from the trance

So not only did he then push himself physically, but mentally as well. Sometimes to far but I hope he will find his balance soon
