Chapter 7: Stone Warriors (part 2) POV: Jason
Aaaand I really have no clue why this chapter is titled the same as the last one.
Story TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ran back and forth across the battlefield.
Lavinia shot an arrow from her manubalista. The arrow struck, but shattered as it struck the stone warrior.
Julius, a son of Mars, was struck by a stone warrior's sword, and he fell backward, bleeding.
I summoned the wind and flew to him.
I picked it up and flew to Pranjal, son of Asclepios. He took the bleeding body of Julius and bandaged the bleeding legionnaire.
I took off again to see if there were more problems, but no one seemed to be in danger.
I landed next to Lityerses, and the swordsman raised a hand in greeting."Hey." The son of Midas growled at me. "This is very new to me."
"What?" I asked. "Fight side by side with friends?"
"No." He rolled his eyes. 'Defense. Normally my opponent always had to defend, but now I have to."
I looked at him. "Is that REALLY all."
"Okay." He admitted. "Since Apollo and Meg led me on the right path, I must confess that it's strange to have real friends."
"Well." I said. 'Good luck. We all need that."
I suddenly felt a wave of strength go through me. Reyna! Was my only thought.
"Hey little brother!" Thalia yelled.
She shot an arrow, which flew over my head and landed somewhere in the middle of the battle.
Reyna flew over me on the back of her pegasus Scipio."Jason!" she yelled.
"Hey, Reyna!!" I yelled back.
A huntress, Hunter, ran past firing arrows. Behind her belt, for some reason, was a hammer and a screwdriver.
A stone warrior flew at me, but before I was hit it slammed into a ball of fire and a bronze dragon landed, crushing some enemies.
Hazel galloped up on top of Arion. "Leo, Calypso, Piper, you could come."
"Yes." Piper replied. "Let's just stop this now."
I grabbed Piper's hand and took off.
Piper shouted, "Stone warriors! Give your weapons to the Romans, and surrender! Swear on the river Styx that you will vanish and never come again!"
Her charmspeak echoed across the valley, and the stone warriors turned one by one."We swear on the river Styx that we will go away and never come back." The stone warriors muttered, empty-eyed, after giving away their weapons.
"Yes!" I yelled, and Piper and I flew back down.
