Chapter 6: Stone Warriors POV: Kai
Today we had a problem. There were stone warriors in the school.
We found out halfway through English.
I raised my finger. "Can we go to the bathroom?" I asked.
"WE?" asked the teacher.
"Um, we all have to." Cole supported me.
"Yes, we all have to." Zane came to us.
Jay squirmed uneasily in his chair.
"Okay then." The teacher said and let us go.
In the toilet we took our things out of our bags and put on our masks.
Nya poked her head around the door. "Anyone got any weapons? Not me.'
'Me neither. We can't walk into a school armed, can we?" Zane thought.
"Argh!" I yelled. "Then without weapons."
"Jay? Are you coming?" Nya asked
"Yes, I'm coming, I'm still sitting on the toilet being busy!"
We rolled our eyes and waited for Jay to finish.
We walked out without anyone noticing us.
-back in class-
Percy: *whispering* They do take a long time.
Annabeth: *also whispering* and they all had to leave at the same time.
Will: *everyone whispers* what are our new friends hiding?
Nico: *stands up* come on. We're going to look.
Nico: *shadows the demigods away*
Teacher: Hey, where are di Angelo, Jackson, Chase and Solace? And those new ones aren't back yet either.
-Outside again, Kai's POV-
We ran outside. There the stone warriors with swords drawn were waiting for us.
"We knew you were coming ninjassss" Pythor grinned.
"And now we're going to take you out," growled a stone warrior.
We sprang forward and I summoned fire into my hands. I threw a ball of fire at the stone warrior's head, and the warrior threw his sword down at me.
I dodged and saw the fight out of the corner of my eye.
Pythor and Lloyd were in a fight. Lloyd threw a green ball of energy at Pythor's head, but the annacondrai went invisible. Lloyd now had to fight on completely by feel, but he apparently didn't need help, because when Pythor jumped at him he got a kick on the head.
Jay had a few stone warriors, including Kozu, standing around him and the master of lightning easily electrocuted them, though more and more kept coming.
Zane fought with a fat warrior and his battalion, and the warriors tried to hit him with their sword. But when the nindroid was whacked nothing happened because it didn't hit him straight, just his titanium exoskeleton.
Cole dodged the stone archers and the and when the shooting stones came at him, he jumped on their heads.
Nya held off the rest, and the warriors received heavy blows from her feet and fists.
I turned, eyes closed, and kicked the warrior around me, and from the sound I had hit him in the face.
I grinned. This went well.
Then I felt a blow between my ribs. Oof. Maybe I shouldn't have thought "this is going well".
I opened my eyes. It didn't look good at all.
The archers had Cole pinned down, and he tried to relax, but the archers still had a firm grip on him.
The fat ones had discovered that if they couldn't hit Zane, they still had their screwdrivers. The titanium ninja now had a small problem.
Jay sat on the floor, nothing to do. I assumed the stone warriors had stunned him with their blows.
Nya stood with her back against the wall, her eyes darting back and forth looking for a way out. The stone warrior around her grinned.
Lloyd probably had the biggest problem. Pythor had his tail pinned, and no matter how wildly he struggled, Pythor wouldn't let go. Pythor opened his mouth and I turned my eyes away, not wanting to see what the anacondrai was going to do to the green ninja.
Then I realized: I have a problem myself.
The stone warriors circled around me, grinning, and Kozu opened his mouth and snarled, "It's over ninjas. No one can save you here."
