The ninjas were in a battle, Kai and Jay were dealing with one part of the fight, whiel Nya and Lloyd were fighting another, and Cole and Zane were leading people out of the building

Once the ninjas thought it was over, they began to leave when a bad guy stabbed Zane in the stomach

The ninjas gasped in horror, the bad guy took the sword out and Zane fell

"ZANE!!" The ninjas yelled as they ran over to Zane, Cole held Zane close

"Frosty, wake up!" Cole said, tears we in his eyes, trying not fall down his face

Cole picked him up and carried him, the ninjas went back to the bounty as fast as they could

Nya and Cole went to the Jay's work area so Nya could fix him up

A few days later

Cole was by Zane's side the whole time, Zane still haven't woken up yet, Cole had a hand on his head

He wished he told Zane how he felt, he had a crush on the little nindrod for since the snakes were released

Just then, Cole saw Zane move, Zane's eyes opened as he slowly sat up

"Zane!" Cole said as he hugged him lightly, Zane blushed and hugged Cole back

"I'm sorry I've kept you guys waiting on me" Zane said

"It's not your fault" Cole said

"But...if I didn't get stabbed, you guys didn't have to worry about me..." Zane said as he placed his head down

Cole lifted his head, Zane blushed a bit, Cole couldn't help but have to kiss him, so he did

He expected Zane to pull away, but he didn't, Zane wrapped his arms around Cole's neck, they both broke the kiss, panting a bit

"Zane, I love you, I have been for a while, I haven't told you this because I was afraid you might reject me" Cole said

"I love you too Cole, I liked you since we were finding the fang blades" Zane said, they both smiled at each other

"Um, can we....kiss again..." Zane said nervously, Cole smiled and lifted his again

"No need to tell me Zane" Cole said as he placed his lips on Zane's again

The two kissed for some time, not knowing that Jay saw it all
