Welcome to Ninjago Shortshots AKA I don't have time to write a proper chapter so I'm writing a really short one with tons of fluff! I know this isn't exactly what you expected, and let's just say I won't be able to make a Christmas special this year, even though my Secret Santa technically counts!

Anyways, enjoy this super short oneshot :3.

It had been a week since the incident at the Mega Monster amusement park, and Jay and Nya were closer than ever.

Even though they'd usually ignore Kai's rules, they didn't get too touchy with each other. Things like holding hands, hugs, and maybe a few kisses on the cheek were enough for them. Not that they could do anything else without the others teasing them, or chickening out of it.

But what they could do was cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. Sure, the movie wasn't that great, just another cheap Christmas romance, but there wasn't anything else to watch.

It was well past midnight, so they were both tired. Nya, untangling herself from the mess they were, stood up and stretched. Smiling, she covered a sleeping Jay with a blanket, planting a small kiss on his forehead. She couldn't help but laugh once he smiled too, even if he was still asleep.

She yawned, heading to her room and covering herself under the covers. The others were asleep, so she'd finally get some peace. She took one final look at the door and closed her eyes. But this time, she wasn't alone.

Jay was standing in front of the door, his body limping and his eyes still closed. She called out his name, but he didn't respond. He only yawned, slowly dragging himself and sitting on the side of her bed. He was probably still asleep, or maybe sleepwalking.

Nya tapped his face and laughed, but eventually gave up and scooted over to the other side, making room for him to lay.

Nya closed her eyes again, only to be pulled into a hug by none other than the lightning ninja himself. She blushed a little, holding back a laugh. She felt like the teddy bear she always noticed next to his pillow.

She sighed in defeat, cuddling closer to him as well. He mumbled something but she couldn't make out what it was, either 'I love you' or 'I love blue'. Both could be possible, really.

She knew Kai would not let them off free for this, he was already strict with PDA, but really, it didn't matter. And after all, it wasn't really Jay's fault for sleepwalking. But either way, they didn't really care. They'd finally get a good night's sleep and that's all that mattered to them.
