The forest was scary. Mysterious creatures, waiting for their prey to come out.

Being in a forest is scary, but at night? You better pray that you don't get lost. Unfortunately, one girl was not lucky. Seliel. That's her name.

"Ugh! Why, out of all the options, did I decide to wander off to the forest?! Oh, wait! It's because my dad was driving me crazy!"

A pink-haired girl, with a blue streak, was walking alone in the forest. Her dad was driving her crazy, and so, and had no choice but to run away for a while.

But now, she was lost. Alone. ...At least she thought so...

She soon heard a movement in a bush.

She quickly whipped her head around. As she was about to attack whatever that was hiding in the bush, a boy came out.

He had black hair, and brown eyes. He looked at her shyly.

"Who are you?" Seliel demanded.

"I-uh...sorry about scaring you," the boy said, he looked to be around Seliel's age, possibly older by 2-3 years. "My name is Cole. You?"

Seliel was hesitant about giving out her name to a random stranger she had just met, but then again, she had no one else to talk to, so she might as well just give him her name. "I'm Seliel."

"Well, uh-what are you doing out here in the forest?" Cole asked.

"I can ask you the same thing," Seliel said back, not in a nice manner that is.

"Well-I uh...y-you see- um..I-I..." Cole stuttered.

"You know what? Forget about it!" Seliel snapped as she began to walk away from the black-haired boy.

Although, she did felt like she was being followed, so she turned around to see the boy, Cole, again.

"What now?!" Seliel snapped.

"I-I just wanted to say that...I-I'm s-sorry..." Cole said.

"Well you know what? Apology accepted. Great! Now leave me alone!" Seliel said.

As Seliel was about to leave she heard Cole say, "You know, the farther you go, the more you're gonna get lost."

Seliel turned to him.

"Well, where am I suppose to go? I'm running away from all the craziness my father is driving me! You showing up out of nowhere makes things more worse!" Seliel yelled.

"You know, i-if you like, I-I can take you somewhere not far from here. I-It's a cave, but i-it's quite comfortable," Cole said.

Seliel thought for a moment, before choosing her decision.

"Fine!"

Seliel walked over to Cole, who brought her to a small cave, albeit, cozy.

Seliel's P.O.V

~a few hours later~

Cole isn't bad company. He's actually quite nice and cute...wait what?

I smile to Cole as he smiles back. But his smile suddenly turns into a frown.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, concerned.

"Well, I-I've been meaning to tell you something," Cole said, almost sounding, worried?

"Well, what is it?" I asked.

"Um...d-do you belive in werewolves?" Cole asked.

"Of course," I said but then paused. "Why?"

Before Cole could respond, he groaned in pain. I looked at him worried.

"Cole! What's wrong?!" I asked.

I started to panic as I saw him sprout wolf ears, and a wolf tail. I looked at him in shock as he turned to face me. He had sharp teeth and claws. He had some grey/black fur growing, but not completely covering his whole body. His eyes no longer the warm brown color I knew, but now a dark crimson red color.

"Cole..." I barely whispered, as I covered my mouth with one of my hands, some tears running down my face.

Now, I understood why he told me that question. He was a werewolf...

"I-I know! I-I'm a monster!!" Cole yelled, having some tears of his own running down.

He still looked like himself, except for all the wolf things he just sprouted.

"Cole..." I said softly walking close to him. "You're not a monster..."

"I am! I have every reason to be called a monster!!" Cole said. "Even you know I'm a monster."

"You are not," I protest.

"And why do you think so?" He asked.

"Because Cole..." I said getting closer to him. "...No matter what..." I looked up at him, straight in the eyes. "...I'll always love you..." I kissed his cheek.

He looked at me bewildered.

"Y-You love me?" He asked, shocked.

I nodded.

"Yeah, and I don't care if you're a werewolf or not, you are being yourself, and I can't blame you for that," I said.

"I...I love you too," he said, pressing his lips against mine.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as we kissed.

We parted away for air.

"So," I said, catching my breath. "We're an official couple now, right?"

Cole smiled. "Of course."

"Then you wouldn't mind if I introduced you to my dad? I can't stay away from him forever," I said.

"I wouldn't mind. Although, we're gonna have to see him tomorrow. My transformation stays all night," he says.

"Alright," I said as I snuggled next to him in the cave and fell asleep.
