Kai sat in his office, going over the written statements from Nya's friends when he got a call on his cell from Cole and picked up. "Any useful news or should I start deciding on what gun I should use?" Kai said when he picked up.

"Hello to you to." Cole replied on the other cell. "Get to the point Hence." Kai responded with a growl as he glared at a picture of him and Nya from back in their hometown.

"Well, I talked to my guys and Jacob Jones was supposed to watch Nya that night." Cole said and Kai seemed to think. "Wait, isn't Jacob Jones the one that like never needs backup because he's like a mini bull elephant?" Kai asked.

"Yeah, he is, but Marley found him dead in an ally on West Street. Right across from the bus station." Cole told him and Kai rubbed a hand over his face. "Fuck! Whoever took Nya must have killed him." Kai said then froze. "Wait, you know what this means, don't you?" He asked as he sat up straight in his chair.

"No, but I also have a bit of a hangover right now." Cole said with a slight groan of pain on his side. "Dude, whoever did this must be in your ranks Cole. Either that or you have a leak. Only me, you, and your guys should have known he was even there to protect her." Kai said as he threw his pen which pierced the wall and stayed there.

Cole groaned on his side and Kai could hear him punching something that sounded like it broke. "FUCK!" Cole shouted on his end. "I'm gonna have to do a complete purge for the leak!" Shouted the club owner.

"Don't worry Kai, I'll figure out who did this and call you for his execution. I figure you should have the honor." Cole said after calming down. "Don't worry, I trust ya man, but if this takes to long I'm taking you out." Kai replied and Cole gulped. "I won't let you down." Cole replied before hanging up.

Kai then looked to his photos of Nya and frowned just as a knock sounded on his office door and he looked up to see Lloyd.  "Kai? Are you okay? I came to drop off some fried chicken from that place you like so much and overheard some of the other officers talking. They said something about your sister missing?" Lloyd said in concern as he set the fast food bag on Kai's desk.

"I... I'll be alright. My little sister, Nya... She was staying with me while attending NU and.... And..." Kai paused to run his hand through his hair and grip it. "She's been abducted and we can't figure out by who." He finished and Lloyd gasped. Lloyd came around the desk and threw himself into Kai's lap to hug the elder male. "I am so sorry Kai." He said while Kai sat there in shock before hugging back. "Thanks Lloyd, but you need to get up and out of my lap before one of my coworkers takes this the wrong way." Kai said and Lloyd stood up. "Can I stay at your apartment tonight?" Lloyd asked as he took a seat on the couch in the room. "Why?" Kai asked as he got up to retrieve his pen from the wall.

"Because you shouldn't be alone right now Kai. I want to be there with you." Lloyd answered and Kai gave him a look. "Hey, I know, I know. You're a big boy and all that, but Kai... Your sister was just kidnapped and it hasn't been long since someone took mom. I know close you are with my folks. You really shouldn't be alone right now. I would ask you to stay at the mansion, but I know how you are about all the white walls." Lloyd went on and Kai sighed. "Fine, you can stay with me as long as you want, your always welcome at my place. You know that." Kai said with a greatful smile.

"Besides, it wouldn't be the wrong idea." Lloyd said as he leaned forward and gave Kai a suggestive look. Kai simply gave Lloyd a warning look. "Lloyd, you aren't even eighteen." He said in a stern tone and Lloyd smirked. "So, my age is only problem? My birthday is next year, I'm seventeen now, the law says that at sixteen all you'd need is at least one of my parents blessing, and my folks love you, I'd say it's all in the bag. All you need is to say yes Kai." Lloyd said and Kai rolled his eyes. "Remind me to lock my bedroom door tonight." Kai said as he pulled some paperwork out of his desk drawer.

"Come on Kai, we both know you want me. Especially after my seventeen..." Lloyd said with a wiggle of his brows. "Hey, that doesn't count. I should have never taken you to my place that night. Plus, you got me drunk." Kai countered and Lloyd rolled his eyes. "You were not drunk Kai, you only had one beer, besides I seduced you, not the other way around Kai." Lloyd said and Kai sighed. "Look, just don't bring it up again. I have no intention of fooling around with a minor Lloyd. I don't care what loop holes the law gives me. You really want me like that? You can wait until you turn eighteen." Kai said and Lloyd sighed. "Fine, can we at least cuddle tonight? I'm sure we could both use a good snuggle tonight after everything that's happened." Lloyd suggested and Kai sighed in defeat. "Fine, we can cuddle. Now get out of here. I have work to do and you're distracting me. Wait in the lobby. I can't clock out till I finish these and it should take about an hour give or take." Kai said and Lloyd nodded. "Alright. I'll wait." Lloyd said before leaving and waiting just outside the office.

When Kai finished up he walked out and tapped Lloyd's shoulder, for the blond had fallen asleep. "Wake up and get going. It's time to head out." Kai said as Lloyd woke up. "And hey, where is your bodyguard?" Kai asked him and Lloyd groaned. "Told him I wouldn't need him when we reached the station."

Kai sighed. "Well come on, let's go. Seriously, you can't keep dismissing your bodyguard like that Lloyd. It's bad enough your mom is gone. I seriously don't think your dad could handle it of he lost you two." Kai scolded as they headed out. "Alright, alright. I get it." Lloyd said as they walked out.

Once they were in Kai's truck, Kai pulled out and drove down the road. "So, I'm guessing there is no lead on your sister two?" Lloyd asked and Kai glanced at him. "What makes you so sure?" Kai asked. "The level of annoyance on your face when I walked in your office. You looked seriously pissed." Lloyd answered and Kai sighed. "Am I that readable?" He asked and Lloyd shook his head. "I just know you that well." He said as he leaned over and pecked Kai's cheek. "Seriously?" Kai said as he shot Lloyd a glare, causing the blond to grin.

"Come on Kai, don't be so stiff." Lloyd said and Kai just focused on the road. When they hit a red light Lloyd looked to Kai. "Can I kiss you? Just once?" Lloyd asked and Kai shot him a look before letting go of a breath he didn't realize he was holding back. "Fine." He said and Lloyd smiled. "Great!" Lloyd said before pressing his lips against Kai's. They shared a short but emotion filled kiss before Lloyd pulled back right as the light turned green. Kai had to be honked at by the car behind him to realize what happened and get the truck in gear to take off for his apartment.

Once they arrived at the complex Kai parked in his spot and Lloyd kissed him again, this time with more passion. Kai found himself kissing back as Lloyd's tung slipped in his mouth and things heated up.

"Lloyd..." Kai whispered into the kiss as Lloyd pulled him in by his uniform collar. "What?" Lloyd asked in a small moan, not parting his lips from Kai's. "We need to stop." Kai said as he tried to pull back, but let Lloyd pull him back in. "Why is that?" Lloyd replied as he ran a hand through Kai's hair. "Because we should get inside." Kai answered and Lloyd rolled his eyes into the kiss. "Will we be taking this further?" Lloyd asked as he pulled back. "No, we agreed on cuddling Lloyd. Now let's get inside and you can take a cold shower." Kai said and Lloyd sighed. "Fine."

The two then went into the apartment where Kai went to the kitchen. "I think I have some left over chicken. I can heat it up for dinner." He said as Lloyd walked into the living room. "Sounds good." Lloyd called back as he looked through Kai's movies.

Kai heated up the chicken and came out to the living room with plates for himself and Lloyd just as said blond put a dvd in the player. "What movie did you go with?" Kai asked as he placed the food on the coffee table and started pushing the couch to the side. "Oh, I picked that super hero movie that came out last year." Lloyd answered and looked back to see what Kai was doing. "Um... Kai, what are you doing?" Lloyd asked as he watched.

"I'm moving the couch to the side and putting the day bed in it's place so we can more comfortably cuddle while watching the movie since the day bed had been set up as a reading place." Kai explained and Lloyd smiled.

"Oh?~" Lloyd said and Kai gave him a look when he went to start moving the day bed. "It's just to be more comfortable since the couch is so small. Don't get any ideas." Kai warned and Lloyd rolled his eyes before helping Kai push the day bed into place.

Once everything was set up they sat on the bed with their food and Kai played the movie.

When they finished the food they cuddled up and Kai wrapped his arms around Lloyd, causing the younger male to cuddle in closer to him. "Hey, Kai?" Lloyd said and Kai hummed in reply. "I really do love you. Romantically." Lloyd said and looked up to him. "You've told me this a thousand times Lloyd. Speaking of, you seriously need to stop texting me about that. Phone records aren't that private and you could get me in trouble." Kai replied as he pulled Lloyd slightly closer. "Oh, please. They can only check if they have a warrant which they can only get if you're under investigation." Lloyd countered. "Besides, not my fault you keep giving mixed signals." Lloyd said and Kai raised a brow.

"Mixed signals?" Kai asked. "Let's see, pushing me away and saying you don't want to get involved with me even though you made love to me, we kiss whenever we can get away with it and even do stuff like this." Lloyd said while turning himself to face Kai. "I just want to hear you speak the truth Kai. You say one thing, but your actions say something else entirely. It's confusing Kai. I need to know. Do you love me back or what?" Lloyd said and Kai sighed. "Fine, I..." Kai started.

"I do love you, but... I just..." Kai continued. "I know. You don't want to get in trouble." Lloyd said with a smile. "But I know my dad would give us permission Kai. All we need for this to be legal is my dad's blessing Kai." Lloyd pleaded. "You and I both know that. I want to be something real with you." He said while looking Kai in the eye.

Kai seemed to think. "Fine, I'll talk to him, okay?" Kai said as he caved and Lloyd grinned before kissing him.

The two quickly fell into a make out session as the movie was forgotten completely. Kai pulled Lloyd closer as they grew passionate and rolled them over so he had Lloyd between him and the bed. Lloyd let his hands travel under Kai's shirt after getting it untucked and Kai moaned a bit at the touch. "Are we gonna have a bit of fun?" Lloyd asked into the kiss as he started unbuttoning Kai's top. "Shut up." Kai growled out as he started lifting Lloyd's tee shirt, causing Lloyd to shiver in delight as a response.

Lloyd then slid Kai's shirt off and Kai tugged his top off in return, the two only parting their lips long enough to get Lloyd's shirt. Lloyd immediately went to undoing Kai's belt buckle while Kai gripped his waists and groaned into the kiss as they grinded into each other.

"Oh, Kai~ " Lloyd moaned out as Kai's lips traveled to his neck. Once Lloyd got Kai's belt off, he started undoing Kai's pants while Kai used one hand to undo his and the other kept a tight hold of Lloyd's waist.

Moans filled the air as the two males got each other down to their underwear and started tugging at their own underwear, becoming inpatient at the prospect of what was to come. "Kai~ take me~" Lloyd moaned into Kai's ear while gliding his nails down Kai's back, causing the brunette to growl out as his back arched. "Oh, fuck yes~" Kai moaned into Lloyd's ear before suddenly pulling back.

"What is it?" Lloyd asked in surprise. "We cannot do this again. Not while it's still illegal." Kai said as he started crawling off of Lloyd. "Kai!" Lloyd cried out while wrapping himself around Kai. "Please don't do this. Besides, we've gotten this far already. We're both hard and obviously very turned on. Why not just have some fun tonight and we can call my dad in the morning, or heck you can grab the lube while I call him now." Lloyd said with pleading eyes.

Kai seemed to think it over and sighed. "You have a point... We... I'll grab the lube and you grab my PC from the dinning room table. We can throw on some robes and call Garmadon." He said and Lloyd raised a brow. "Robes? Isn't that suspicious?" He asked and Kai hummed. "You're right. We'll throw our shirts on and not let the camera go lower then our chests." Kai said before going to his bedroom to grab the bottle and a loose sweatshirt while Lloyd did as he asked and threw his tee shirt back on.

When Kai came out he put the lube on the coffee table and logged into his PC while Lloyd settled in beside him.

When they called Garmadon, he picked up looking tired. "Do you realize what time it is? I was just about to go to bed. Oh, hey Lloyd." Garmadon said and Lloyd rolled his eyes. "You don't seem worried about my wear abouts at all." Lloyd said and Garmadon pinched his nose. "Because Charlie told me he dropped you off at the station and I know for a fact that the safest place for you at all times is Kai's side. That is a man who would give his life for anyone in this family. I trust him with you completely." Garmadon said while looking straight at Lloyd.

"Good, then what would you say to me and Kai being romantic with each other?" Lloyd asked, causing Garmadon to wake right up. "What?" He said and Kai bit his lip. "Lloyd, um... Confessed to me." He said and Garmadon sat back in his desk chair while just staring at the two males. "Are you sure about this Lloyd?" He asked and Lloyd nodded. "Completely." Lloyd responded and Garmadon looked to Kai. "And you? How do you feel about all this?" He asked and Kai gave a small smile. "Honestly? I actually love Lloyd. I was gonna wait for his eighteenth to confess." Kai answered, hoping Garmadon didn't react negatively.

"I'll give my blessing for now. I'm sure you boys want to at least be all cuddly for the night so have fun, but Kai..." Garmadon said, getting stern at the end, causing Kai to gulp. "Yes Garmadon Sir?" He said and Garmadon narrowed his gaze. "You and I are having a discussion about this tomorrow, alright?" Garmadon said and Kai nodded. "Yes Sir. Thank you Sir." Kai responded and Garmadon nodded. "Remember, you have my blessing for the night, but we will discuss this further tomorrow. Goodnight boys." Garmadon said before hanging up.

Lloyd put the PC on the table and handed Kai the lube. "Aside from my dad being the super scary man he is... We do have blessings now, so can we please get back to work before either one or both of us develops blue ball?" Lloyd said while Kai looked to him. "Y-yeah. Uh..." Kai let out and Lloyd grinned. "Looks like I need to remind you where we were at.~" Lloyd said before pulling Kai into a kiss.

Kai drove to the Garmadon mansion after dropping Lloyd off at school and walked up to the main doors where the staff opened up for him and a main lead him to Garmadon's office.

Kai sat across from the elder male, who was on his computer. "Kai, nice to see you again." Garmadon said emotionlessly as Kai shifted in his seat. "You know, I noticed something last night.... Lloyd's hair was more messed up then usual during that feed and you... Your hair. It was a mess. You never let your hair get messed up Kai. You seemed nervous as well. What happened before that call? Huh?" Garmadon said and Kai's eyes widened a bit more.

"We might have kissed a bit before the call. It was very... spontaneous. We started making out a bit before my senses came to me. Alright? We just got to excited and Lloyd wanted to share the bed so we could cuddle in our sleep, but I didn't want to do more then the kiss until we had your blessing so he suggested calling you then and there." Kai explained and Garmadon sighed. "Fine, I trust you Kai, but that doesn't mean I approve of you being with my son. I know your dirty little secrets Kai. I know your crooked cop. Hell, the only reason I haven't gotten you locked up for the shit you've done is because I see you as my own and I know damn well how loyal you are, Kai... I don't want Lloyd dragged down with you." Garmadon said and Kai looked down.

"I know sir, but I promise you that he won't be dragged down. I will do anything protect him. I would do anything for him. There is no way he'll be dragged down by me sir. I intend to not let that happen. I really do love Lloyd. I didn't realize it until his confession, but I do. I am wholey dedicated to him. I promise you this." Kai pleaded, his accent comming out in his plea as he looked Garmadon dead in the eye.

Garmadon seemed to think it all over as he sat back in his chair. "Alright." He said after a bit. "But I swear Kai, if anything happens to my son because of your other life I will not hesitate to end you. Surrogate son or not. My child comes first." He stressed and Kai grinned. "I will not let you down." Kai said in excitement.

"Good, now get to work lover boy. You need to find my wife and your sister and bring them home." Garmadon said and Kai nodded before leaving.

Jay sat in a cafe at a table in the back with a coffee when Cole walked up. "Should you really be drinking coffee?" Cole asked as he slid into the booth next to him. "Oh, hush. I'm a university student, plus my close friend disappeared." Jay said as he looked to Cole, revealing the bags under his eyes.

"Whoa, okay. Who's your friend?" Cole asked and Jay sighed. "Her name is Nya Smith.... She's such a kind girl. I can't believe she's gone missing." Jay answered and Cole grabbed his hand. "By any chance is she a country bumbkin?" He asked and Jay nodded. "Did you know her?" He asked and Cole shrugged. "I know her elder brother. Detective Kai Smith. We met back when he was attending NU. Old friends. I have a lot of connections that he doesn't in this city so he asked me to help keep her safe. One of my... Associates... that was keeping an eye on her the day she disappeared was found dead." Cole explained and Jay brought his free hand up in front of his mouth. "Oh god." He said in surprise.

"Yeah... I feel responsible for this. The only people who knew he was watching her that night were me and my cirle. There's a leak somewhere in my circle of friends. Someone I trust isn't who they say they are or is actually working for a very bad person." Cole said and Jay started rubbing his back. "This isn't your fault Cole, you had no way of knowing." Jay said softly. "Okay? Just find the leak and have him lead you to the source. Find the guy your leak reports to and find the kidnapper." He added.

Cole smiled at him. "Thanks." He said and Jay hugged him. "I... I'm working on finding the leak right now. I just hope we find her in time.." He added and Jay gave him a reassuring smile.

Lloyd snuck out of school during lunch and went to the city library where he went up to the desk. "I need to see the owner." He said and the workers nodded before leading him upstairs to the top floor where Lloyd knocked on the door and Wu opened up. "Lloyd, nice to see you again." He said a and Lloyd smiled. "Same here Uncle Wu."
