Jay sat in his collage class while nervously tapping his pencil. He felt uneasy as he thought about what was going to happen that day. He had this feeling in the pit of his stomach that something wasn't right.

Nya's girl friends all called out of school to watch the news, hopping to receive news that Nya was alright.

They all felt responsible for her kidnapping. If only they hadn't let her go home alone. Perhaps they could have dropped her off themselves. All they could think about was blaming themselves for her disappearance even though none of them could have known what was going to happen that night.

Lloyd and Nelson couldn't sit still in their lessons at school. Both were worried. Today was the day Kai and a swat team would check out the building. As such, they both feared for Kai's safety. On top of that, if their respective mother & sister were in there, then in what state?

For Lloyd, was his mom even alive? His dad hadn't received any random calls so what could they want with her? Why take her and Nya? Where they even taken by the same guys? What if it was just Nya and his mom was still missing?

For Nelson, what state could Nya be in? Their family didn't have any money to ransom her with. Herhaps human trafficking? To force themselves on her? She was a young collage freshman and left behind plenty of broken hearts in their hometown for a reason. She was also feisty and a fighter, a trait he was proud of because she always kept him safe, but it was also a trait that could get you killed. Was she even there?

Even during lunch, Brad & Harumi couldn't get them to even eat.

Cole sat in his office. Everything was quiet, for he'd shut down the club that day. He was to worried about Kai to do any work. Kai and Morrow that was. They were his two best friends and both were like brothers to him.

Kai, especially.

That cowboy helped him out of a lot of sticky situations and, like him, knew what it was like to be a big brother.

Cole knew what he would do if someone messed with one of his sisters, and as such, he had a feeling Kai would do something similar. He hopped for Kai's sake, that Nya was at least alive.

He also hopped his friends would make it back in piece.

Zane sat in his home.

He'd called out of work that day and had the news playing on his TV while he went over logs and paper work.

He seemed cool and calculated on the outside, but on the inside he was worried sick.

What would come of his dear friend that day?

Garmadon had the news playing on the radio in his office while he went over paperwork. The staff knew better then to disturb him and rightfully so.

His adopted son was going to throw himself into the line of fire to bring home his wife that day. At least, that was the intention.

All he could do was wait and see what happened and it killed him inside.

Ray drove his truck to a nice looking apartment home and knocked on the door. A woman answered it. Maya's mother and Nya's grandmother.

"Ray? What are you doing here?" She asked while straightening her business suit. The woman was a well respected lawyer and her husband owned a bank. Both were wealthy and high class as such.

"I trust that y'all know Kai is a law man?" Ray asked and she nodded as her husband came up beside her. "Well, did he tell you 'bout what happened to Nya?" Ray asked and they nodded. "What of it?" She asked and Ray removed his cap. "Kai and a swat team are going into what's believed to be the location her and Mrs. Garmadon's capters. I want to make sure both my kids are alright, but I ain't got no TV to do it with." Ray explained and they both shared a look, but let him in and sat in front of the television with him.

Wu sat in his hidden apartment. He was meditating while listening to the radio. He had the news station on and was hoping to hear good news, though he had a bad feeling.

All of the country of Ninjago held their breaths that day in anticipation of Kai hopefully saving Miskao. Some teachers in various schools had their radios playing in class in their wait to find out what would happen.

It was the day Ninjago stood still.

After all, no one had dared attack a member of the royal family for centuries.

Kai and Ronin stood outside the building that Morrow and the girls were in. Kai looked to Ronin, who nodded, and the two barged inside the building while clad in cavalier vests and a swat team behind them.

Kai made a couple hand signs and they made there way down stairs to the basement while the main team went up to the higher floors.

When they made their way into the room with the cells, Kai immediately started picking the lock to Nya's cell while Ronin went to free Miskao. Both females hugged Kai just before there was the clearing of a throat and Kai turned to see Morrow. "What am I? Chopped liver?" Morrow asked and Kai rolled his eyes before freeing him. "What now?" Ronin asked Kai.

"Now, we get out of here and get these three to medical professionals for safetys sake." Kai said and Ronin nodded, but as Kai went to the basement door to check and make sure it was still clear, a bomb was thrown in and detinated.
