Kai leaned against his truck as Lloyd and his friends came out of the school. When Lloyd spotted his boyfriend he grinned. Brad recognized the look on Lloyd's face and rolled his eyes with a knowing grin. Nelson had noticed all this and chuckled before waving at his big brother, getting a wave back. Harumi, who actually managed to stay out of trouble that day, looked to where the boys were looking and scrunched up her nose when she saw Kai.

Lloyd and Nelson both bolted for the truck with Brad walking behind them at a slow pace, just taking his sweet time. Harumi walked beside Brad and looked to the Catholic kid. "What does Lloyd see in him? He seems like a jerk, and why is Nelson so excited?" Harumi asked and Brad looked to her. "First off, the pot can't call the kettle black miss bad girl trying to say the bad boy cop is bad news, and secondly, Nelson idolizes Kai. The two are half brothers that only share a father. Nelson's birth mom was abusive to both of them, but Kai always did whatever he could to protect Nelson until he was adopted by Prince Garmadon after his father disowned him that is. Now, Nelson's mom is in jail for child abuse from what I understand and their dad divorced the chick, now having sole custody." Brad explained and Harumi seemed to listen.

"I still don't get it." Harumi said and Brad chuckled. "You're just mad that Lloyd likes him." Brad teased and she rolled her eyes. "Not true! Lloyd isn't even my type! I just worry. I don't want Lloyd to get screwed over." Harumi voiced her concerns.

"Well, trust me. Kai and Lloyd are just fine. Lloyd is the aggressor here anyway. From what I've been told, it was Lloyd that pushed for the relationship." Brad said and she shrugged.

"Either way, try getting to know Kai a bit more. He may be the bad boy type, but he's also a damn good detective and a really cool guy." Brad tried and Harumi agreed to give Kai a chance a bit before they made it to the truck.

By time they got their, Lloyd had wrapped his arms around Kai's neck and was passionately kissing him as the cop held him by the waist. Nelson was just patiently waiting for Lloyd and his brother to stop making out.

"Hey." Nelson said to Brad & Harumi when he spotted them. "Does this happen a lot?" Harumi asked and Nelson nodded. "Lloyd can't keep his hands to himself when it comes to my brother." He said, earning himself the middle finger from Lloyd as the two didn't part lips quite yet.

Harumi chuckled a bit. She knew Lloyd could be a wild child himself, but Lloyd was usually well behaved on school grounds, so this was new.

"Break it up, now! Who the hell do you think you are?" Screeched a teacher as she stomped over. "I just called the cops now get out of here! I won't deal with some hick coming around seducing my students!" She was calling out and Lloyd looked a little scared, but Kai didn't let him go and looked board as the woman came storming up.

"Uh, Kai?" Lloyd let out nervously as the others all watched with wide eyes. "Just ride it out. I have my blessings license on me, how about you?" Kai said and Lloyd nodded. "Y-yeah." Lloyd replied and Kai gave a quick, firm, nod.

The lady got there and froze. "Smith?" She said with a snear while glaring at Kai. "Howdy Mrs. Butt-face." Kai said, purposely drudging up his old accent with a smirk. "I thought I had you expelled a restraining order!" The teacher yelled. "No mam, I got moved to a different homeroom teacher and that restraining order never went through because they don't hand out such things over a teenagers simple prank." Kai said, still smirking.

That was when the cops showed up and walked over. They recognized Kai and looked confused. "Kai? What's the issue here?" One cop asked. "Easy, this hick thinks it's a good idea to seduce an underage boy! And the prince no less." Complained the teacher and the cops looked to Kai, who dug into his pocket, still not letting Lloyd go, pulled out his wallet & handed them his blessings license.

The cops looked it over and used a scanner to make sure it was real. They trusted Kai, but they also wanted to keep their jobs. The license was then handed back to Kai and one cop looked to the teacher. "Sorry mam, but he has a blessings license and every right to seduce prince Lloyd should he so desire. It's level three." The cop said and she looked to Kai with a glare as he just smirked at her. Nelson then chickled and hugged his brother. "You are amazing." He said, referring to Kai's ability to stay calm.

"And hugging that one?" The teacher tried and Nelson stuck his tung out at her. "I'm allowed to hug my big brother, bitch!" He argued and Kai's eyes widened as he held back a laugh and the teacher looked horrified. The two cops just laughed and left after highfiveing Kai. The teacher stormed away and Kai planted a kiss on Lloyd's cheek.

"Now then, I'll be dropping you off then meeting with Cole." Kai said and Lloyd glared. "I'm going too." Lloyd demanded. "Lloyd, what's with the glare? Do you not trust me?" Kai asked and Lloyd shook his head. "I trust you. I don't trust him." Lloyd siad and Kai sighed. "Babe, he already has a boyfriend." Kai said and Lloyd tilted his head to the side. "Some foreign college student thats studying abroad at NCU. That tech guy, Jay. " Kai explained and Lloyd perked up a bit. "Really? Neat, but I still want to be there." Lloyd said and Kai chuckled. "Fine, you can come." Kai said then Nelson smiled. "Can I come?"

"NO."

Kai and Lloyd walked into Cole's office where the club owner was on his computer, doing some business with Jay sitting in his lap. Jay was on a tablet to do homework while Cole held him by the waist with one hand and typed away on the computer with his other.

Kai snorted a bit at the sight and claimed a spot on the couch where Lloyd attempted to take his lap, but Kai just grinned before pinning Lloyd to the sofa and began to start kissing along his neck, renewing all the hickeys before letting the blond up as he got back into a seated position.

Lloyd stayed on his back, staring at the ceiling, and just blushed as Kai smirked like he won some big reward. That was when Cole and Jay looked over, finally noticing them.

"Do I even want to know?" Jay asked and Kai just chuckled as Cole grinned and rolled his eyes, knowing damn well how Kai was. "Just making sure the world knows Lloyd is mine."

It was after that, that the four started discussing what was going on and any leads that were picked up. Once this meeting was over, Kai dropped Lloyd off at his apartment, it was a Friday night, and went to work at the RIU building where he'd meet his new partner, one Ronin Recks.

Kai didn't know what to make of the man. He seemed decently buff, had noticeable stubble, long hair that reached just past his ears, and was overly friendly for Kai's liking.

The two went to investigate the disappearance of a child and the ride in their squad car was silent. Kai was obviously annoyed and Ronin wasn't sure how Kai would react if he tried to ease the tension. After a bit, however, Ronin was tired of the silence.

"So, what has you in a bad mood?" Ronin asked and Kai glanced at him. "I come in to meet my new partner, expecting some quick desk work that I can take home, then get sent on a job." Kai said in an annoyed tone and Ronin nodded. "I see, did you have plans for tonight?" Ronin asked and Kai nodded. "My boyfriend is at my apartment waiting for me if you get the hint." Kai said and Ronin closed his mouth. Kai was gonna be late to getting lucky. That's what had the man so mad.

When they got there, the mom streered them in the direction of the father. Kai and Ronin got in the vehicle and took off. "You sure stopped the questions quick when she mentioned the divorce." Ronin said and Kai looked to him. "Because nine times out of ten in cases like this it's the estranged spouse." Kai said and Ronin nodded along.

When they got to the house, Kai had Ronin talk to the neighbors while he talked to the dad. Not only did the neighbors admit to Ronin that they'd seen the dad come home with the daughter, but while Kai was questioning the dad, she came to the door and Kai just smirked. Busted.

Kai was rather happy to have the case solved so quick and happily made his way home. Lloyd was still awake and pounced on Kai the second he closed the front door.

Morrow was walking down an alley in a part of town where every building was abandoned or condemned. He stopped when he heard a noise from a building with basement windows. At this, he got down on his stomach and looked through. When he saw Nya & Misako chained up in the cells.

"Kai is gonna love this." Morrow whispered under his breath and took off, texting Kai that he had some information the cop gonna love, but right as he took a photo of the building, some men came out of hiding. Morrow quickly saved the photo to his online account and hit the reset button on his phone right before the men ganged up on him.
