(Nobody's POV)

"Another Fang Blade is ours!" Pythor triumphantly waved around the Fang Blade from the Blade Cup on top of the Great Devourer statue, all of the Serpentine below him cheered as he placed the new Fang Blade into one of the teeth of the statue

"Excellent, two down and two more to go" Skales applauded Pythor as the Anacondria slithered his way back to the ground of Ouroboros 

"Yeah yeah you got the Fang Blade whatever" Lord Garmadon sulked with his four arms crossed 

"What'ssssss gotten hisssss armsssss in a twissssst?" Fangtom's left head asked Pythor in it's usual vampire voice  

"Oh he's just upset that we never recorded the talent show for him" Pythor told Fangtom 

"I have never felt so betrayed" Lord Garmadon pouted, turning his back to the snickering Serpentine Generals 

"Well we did have sssssssomething more important to deal with" Skalidor reminded Lord Garmadon of the Ninja's appearance at the talent show, which almost caused them the Fang Blade 

"Yes yes you've told me about that before" Garmadon continued to sulk "You could have at least recorded my son's part of the performance! Maybe if I gave it to Koko she would accept me again....."

"Ugh, we have more important thingsssss than your relationshipssssss to deal with" Acidicus spat at Garmadon. Literally 

"Acidicus is right, finding the last two Fang Blades is our only priority" Pythor informed everyone as he revealed the map to the Fang Blades, with two x's over the already obtained Fang Blades 

"Sssssssso where isssss the next Fang Blade?" Skales asked Pythor while he looked at the map 

"Well for once I'm not exactly sure" Pythor answered Skales a bit puzzled as he looked closer at the map "It says the Fang Blade is off the main Ninjago island, and the only clue is a Fang Blade marking in the middle of the ocean!"

The Serpentine Generals all gathered around to look at the Fang Blade marking Pythor was referring to, their reptilian eyes showed confusion as none of them had any idea where the Fang Blade was

"Oh I know where that is!" Garmadon suddenly spoke out, the Serpentine Generals all looked at him surprised 

"You do?" Skalidor asked the four armed Warlord 

"From what I can remember, that marking seems to be on the location of where my father placed the Sword of Fire" Garmadon told the Generals  

"Didn't the Ninja go there?" Fangtom's right head asked "That red Ninja issssss alwaysssss fighting with that Ssssssword of fire"

"Do you think the Ninja already took the Fang Blade!?" Skalidor asked slamming his Serpentine staff onto the ground 

"I doubt it, those Ninja didn't even know of the Fang Blade's existence back then" Pythor said to Skalidor "Those brats would have waved it in our faces by now"

"And from what I can recall from my father's stories, the Fang Blade was not located anywhere near the Sword of Fire" Garmadon told the Generals 

"Then where on that island would the Fang Blade be?" Skales asked Garmadon, intrigued that the Warlord was actually being useful 

"If my memory serves me correct the Fang Blade should be hidden underneath the Fire Temple" Garmadon replied to Skales 

"Chokun! Get some mining equipment ready!" Pythor shouted at the nearby Constrictai 

Pythor rolled the map back up and the Serpentine Generals made their way towards the Rattlecopters

"Aren't you coming Garmadon?" Skales asked the Warlord who was now putting on some shades and opening up a beach chair 

"Oh no you snakes go ahead" Garmadon motioned for them to fly away "That place would be way too hot for me"

"Didn't you used to live in a volcano?" Pythor looked at Garmadon confused

"The volcano I could handle, but the Fire Temple? No way!" Garmadon replied as he began to relax on his beach chair 

"Ugh whatever, we're better off without that four arm pest" Pythor whispered to the other Serpentine Generals as they took flight in the Rattlecopters

Leaving Lord Garmadon to suck up some sun on his favourite beach chair

(Sensei Wu's POV)

"Ugh Sensei are you sure we have to do this?" Kai asked me with a groan, broom in his right hand 

"Yes Kai, Ninja must be responsible and keep their headquarters clean and tidy" I told Kai who let out another groan in response 

I watched with my staff in hand as my students were hard at work cleaning the Warehouse, Cole was busy stacking some cardboard boxes filled with Ninja gear while Skylor filled some empty boxes with said Ninja gear. Zane and Jay were occupied with dusting and removing all cobwebs on the ceiling of the Warehouse, as well as repainting the ceiling  

Looking to the outside of the Warehouse my eyes watched Lloyd and Nya as they scrubbed the Destiny's Bounty, ensuring that there was not a single piece of dirt on the wooden ship. Harumi and Kai reluctantly swept the deck outside of the Warehouse, they made sure to let me know they didn't enjoy it with all of their groans

"Why do we even have to brush out here? It's not a part of the Warehouse!" Harumi complained 

"It would be a shame if the Serpentine were attacking and on your way to stop them you happened to trip over an empty soda can" I told Harumi with a chuckle, which she and Kai did not appreciate 

"Speaking of the Serpentine" Zane stepped off his ladder and joined us outside the Warehouse 

"What is it Zane?" My nephew asked as he and Nya both stepped off the Destiny's Bounty 

"I believe those are not birds" Zane said to us while he extended his Nindroid arm to point at something in the sky 

Turning my attention to what Zane was pointing at, my eyes could faintly see four lime copters flying above the sea. Cole came out with a pair of binoculars and looked towards the four mysterious flying copters

"Zane is right, those are no birds" Cole told us as he took the binoculars down from his face "Those are definitely four Rattlecopters"

"Did you see anyone on them?" Skylor asked the man bun having Ninja

"I'm fairly certain I saw Pythor and the other Serpentine Generals on the Rattlecopters" Cole answered Skylor "It looked like Pythor was holding the map to the Fang Blades"

"Then those snakes must be after the next Fang Blade!" Harumi yelled out, getting excited for a fight 

"Well then, good thing I made you clean the deck today" I spoke whilst stroking my long white beard "Now there is no chance of tripping over an empty soda can while getting on board the Bounty"

"Alright everyone let's gear up!" Lloyd told the others as they all rushed into the Warehouse to throw on their Ninja gear 

They may have rushed into the Warehouse a little too quickly as Kai was definitely not looking where he was going, Kai seemed to have bumped into one of the ladders as he carelessly ran into the Warehouse. I looked towards the ladder to see Jay on top, the ladder started to wobble and Jay clung on for his life until he lost his grip and began falling to the ground 

Seeing my pupil in trouble I abandoned my spot on the deck and quickly rushed towards the rapidly falling screaming Jay, just as I was about to spin into my Spinjitzu to save him I stopped in my tracks as I saw Nya walking across the Warehouse floor, I was about to warn her about the fact that Jay was going to squash her but I watched as Jay perfectly fell into Nya's arms 

The two Ninja looked at each other with surprised expressions, both completely confused on what just happened 

"So uhhhhhh y-y-you come here o-often?" Jay quipped, breaking the awkward silence

Nya let out a giggle and let the blushing Jay onto his feet, Jay quickly apologised and thanked Nya for catching him before he sped off to gear himself up

I smiled as I watched the exchange, it is good to know that my students will always have each other's backs, I believe I have trained them well. Perhaps well enough that if something were to happen to me, they would all be alright.....

"Uh Sensei?" A hand waving in front of my face snapped me out of my thoughts "Are you okay? You were kind of just standing there"

"Oh yes, I am perfectly fine Skylor, thank you for asking" I said to the red haired Ninja who smiled at me before joining the other Ninja in rushing out of the Warehouse 

It is best for me to not think like that, my students still have a long way to go until they are truly Masters of Spinjitzu. Clutching my staff in my right hand I rushed out to the deck to join my pupils as they all began to board the brand new Destiny's Bounty 

"Sensei? Wouldn't it be best to use our Elemental Dragons to catch up to the Serpentine?" Nya asked me "Surely they'll be faster than the Bounty"

"That may be true Nya" I said to Jay's saviour "But it would be best for the Serpentine to not hear us following them, after all you and Lloyd did just spend a while cleaning this ship. I would hate for it to be become dirty again because of a fight"

"And we haven't taken this thing for a spin yet, so now is the perfect time to see if this Bounty is better than the last Bounty" Kai spoke up, untying the Destiny's Bounty from the deck 

Walking across the wooden deck of the new Destiny's Bounty I made my way up to the Bounty's wheel and began to depart the ship from the deck, a sudden yell caught my attention and I stopped the ship 

"WAIT F-FOR ME!" Jay yelled out, running out of the Warehouse while hastily throwing on his Ninja gi

Almost tripping over himself Jay made it to the end of the deck and barely managed to jump off and grab onto the side of the Bounty, the other Ninja quickly rushed over to pull him onto the ship 

"T-Thanks g-guys" The messy auburn haired Ninja thanked his fellow Ninja 

"Now that everyone is on board let us set sail!" My voice cheerfully called out to the Ninja on board as the Destiny's Bounty finally left the dock 

It felt nice to be back on the Destiny's Bounty, the wind was blowing through my long white beard as I could faintly hear my students talking amongst themselves 

My old ears picked up Kai's faint voice "Heh, sorry for almost killing your boyfriend" He teased his sister who of course elbowed him in response while telling him to shut up before she tossed him off the ship

"I guess you could say you really fell for her huh?" Another chuckling voice was picked up by my ears, looking towards the voice I could see Lloyd teasing a completely red faced Jay 

Letting out a chuckle of my own, I smiled knowing that my students were very close and got along nicely. A Ninja team is completely pointless unless the said Ninja get along, with or without their Sensei 

I hope you all enjoyed the first July chapter of Ninja Life, not as action packed as the last chapter but I'm sure things will be heating up for our favourite Secret Ninja Force soon.
