(Jay's POV)

"S-s-so what's Spinjitzu l-like?" I asked Lloyd excitedly

"Well it's really cool! You spin around into this tornado and it's super strong!" Lloyd replied to me

"It'll really help us defeat Lord Garmadon" Nya spoke up, making my heart skip a beat

"I am very much looking forward to learning this martial art" Zane smiled brightly

"I bet with this new martial art no one will mess with us back in school!" Skylor said pumped up

"We can't do it at school Skylor!" Nya said to Skylor "Everyone will know our secret identities!"

"Haven't you ever thought of revealing your identities? So you can actually get some credit for all your ninja stuff?" Harumi asked us

"Absolutely not! If we do that everyone we love would be a goner!" Cole shouted

"And besides it doesn't matter if we don't get the credit, all that matters is that this city is protected" Lloyd said to us all

"Well I'm sure if you revealed yourself to be the green ninja, people will stop fearing you Lloyd" Harumi said to Lloyd

"You're probably right Rumi, but I don't wanna risk my mom's life" Lloyd replied with a frown

Just as Lloyd finished his sentence, Sensei Wu left the sleeping quarters and joined us

"How's Kai Sensei?!" Nya asked Sensei Wu worriedly

"He is doing fine Nya, I just gave some Recover-Tea. He should be back to his normal self in a day or two" Sensei Wu explained to Nya, calming her down

"So Sensei, shall we get this Spinjitzu training started?" Zane asked Sensei Wu who nodded

"Yes, yes we shall Zane" Sensei Wu smiled

I sat back and watched as Lloyd helped train Zane, Sensei told us that unlocking Spinjitzu was all about momentum. Skylor, Harumi and I watched as Zane jumped over Lloyd, dodged his sword and spun into an icy tornado knocking Lloyd back! It was so cool!

"Oh my, I am sorry about that Lloyd" Zane apologised as he helped Lloyd back onto his feet

"It's fine Zane" Lloyd chuckled

"Oh oh can I try next?" Harumi asked jumping up and down excitedly, we all couldn't help but let out a chuckle

"Alright get up here Rumi!" Lloyd chuckled at his girlfriend

Harumi walked on up to Lloyd and he started teaching her the ways of Spinjitzu, he instructed her just like he did with Zane, after a few fails she finally managed to leap over Lloyd, dodge his sword and she spun around into a jade green Spinjitzu vortex knocking Lloyd right into the stone wall!

"I did it! I actually did it!" Harumi celebrated as Lloyd picked himself up

"Well done Rumi!" Lloyd congratulated Harumi as he pulled her in for a hug

"Okay I wanna go next!" Skylor said standing up, eager to try

"Alright then Sky, let's see what you got!" Lloyd said to Skylor as he pulled out his sword

Skylor smirked as she pulled on her own homemade ninja mask and charged towards Lloyd, she easily jumped over Lloyd and quickly slid under his sword and got behind him, she then spun around into an orange tornado and flung Lloyd right into the ground!

"Huh, maybe I should be the green ninja" Skylor smirked

"Ha ha very funny" Lloyd replied sarcastically as he picked himself back up

"It would appear as if it is your turn now Jay" Zane turned to me

"O-Okay" I replied nervously, I stood up from the bench and approached Lloyd

"Try not to be too rough with me Jay" Lloyd chuckled, I nervously chuckled back, afraid I wasn't going to be able to do it

I gulped as I pulled on my ninja mask, I ran towards Lloyd and tried to jump over him, I managed to do so but when it came to landing I failed miserably, falling flat on my face. I groaned as I picked myself up, Lloyd looked at me with a reassuring glance. I backed up and decided to try again, I charged towards Lloyd and jumped over him, barely sticking the landing, but when it came to the next step I failed, I forgot all about his sword and was sent right onto my back, I grunted as I picked myself back up again. I ran towards Lloyd once more, leaping over him and landing on my feet, this time dodging his sword, but I just couldn't do Spinjitzu! I spun around but I only ended up falling back onto the ground!

"UGH T-T-THAT'S IT!" I yelled as I jumped up and marched away into the supplies room, sitting down on one of the crates with my arms crossed, ugh I'm so upset!

Why can't I do it?! Everyone else can! I guess I'm just not a good ninja, maybe I should just hand in my Golden Weapon and quit! I was snapped out of my thoughts by Lloyd stepping into the supply room and sitting across from me, with a concerned look on his face

"What's wrong Jay?" Lloyd asked me concerned

"I-I-I can't do it L-L-Lloyd! I shouldn't e-even be a n-ninja!" I cried out to Lloyd, with tears forming in my eyes

"That's completely untrue Jay! You're as much as a ninja as the rest of us!" Lloyd tried to tell me

"Oh y-y-you're just saying t-t-that because y-you're my b-best friend, you don't a-actually think I'm a good n-ninja!" I cried with tears falling down my cheeks

"No I'm not Jay, I really do think you're a good ninja, and I know I'm not the only one" Lloyd said to me as he looked behind me, I was confused and looked behind me. Standing behind me was everyone else

"You're a great ninja Jay, I know I wouldn't have been able to get the Nunchucks of Lightning!" Cole told me

"And you're an even better friend" Lloyd smiled at me, making me smile a little

"T-t-thanks guys, I'm j-just worried that I'm n-not enough to p-protect my parents, I'm j-j-just so worried about t-them" I choked wiping away tears

"We're all worried about our loved ones Jay, but if we work together we can protect them!" Nya told me confidently, making me feel a little more confident

"Y-y-you're right!" I said standing up, wiping away my tears "I-I'm ready to try S-S-Spinjitzu again!"

"That's the spirit Jay!" Skylor said to me

I calmly breathed in and out with my eyes closed, trying to concentrate on only doing Spinjtzu. I opened my eyes and looked across the room, I saw Lloyd ready with his sword in hand. I pulled on my ninja mask and took one last deep breath

I shot forward as fast as lightning, I quickly flipped over Lloyd's head and landed steady on my two feet. Lloyd wasted no time and sliced his sword right at me, but once again I was as fast as lightning and slid right under his sword, and then I finally did it. I spun around quickly and summoned my Spinjitzu tornado! It was blue with lightning crackling around it, I spun right into Lloyd and knocked him off his feet and into the wall! I suddenly spun out of my Spinjitzu and was left a bit dizzy but managed to steady myself as to not fall over

"You did it Jay!" Nya said as she rushed over to me and embraced me in one of her tight hugs, even lifting me off my feet, I was blushing like made

"Oh uhhhh t-t-thanks N-N-Nya" I barely managed to stutter out, Nya put me back on the ground and let go off me embarrassed

"Sorry about that Jay" She apologised to me with a blush, I just smiled and felt like I had butterflies in my stomach

"Way to go zap trap!" Cole congratulated me, kind of ruining Nya and I's little moment

"Yeah, that was great!" Lloyd groaned as he got up from the ground

"Oh L-L-Lloyd I'm so sorry d-did I hurt y-you?!" I frantically asked Lloyd worried

"I'm fine Jay don't worry" Lloyd chuckled, I let out a sigh of relief

"Well done Jay, now that you have all learned Spinjtzu I believe it is time to end my brother's reign" Sensei Wu told us

"But what's our plan Sensei?" Harumi asked Sensei Wu

"First we must interrogate the Venomari we have imprisoned, we shall learn vital information which will help us dethrone my brother" Sensei Wu explained to us

"Sounds like a plan to me!" Lloyd exclaimed
