Happy 10 Years of Ninjago everyone! I would have loved to release this chapter on the actual day but unfortunately I was just too busy and stressed to write the chapter, I do apologise for the late chapter but I do hope you all enjoy it now that its here

(Cole's Pov)

My eyes slowly opened as I woke up, ugh my back hurts like hell. These beds aren't really the best, but hey at least we have beds right? Ugh my back probably has more lumps than the mattress! I looked around the room and noticed everyone else was already up, I groaned and left the sleeping quarters

"Hey look who's finally awake!" I heard Kai snicker as I entered the main part of Harumi and Skylor's secret base

"How could you even sleep on that mattress Cole? The mattresses are like solid rock! Uh no offence guys" Lloyd apologised to Harumi and Skylor who chuckled

"Oh it's fine Lloyd, we feel the same way" Harumi replied to Lloyd, followed by a quick peck on the cheek

"Heh, well I am the elemental master of Earth after all" I joked, making the others all chuckle

"Beds should not be our main priority" Sensei Wu spoke up "Our main priority should be teaching you all Spinjitzu"

"How will we learn Spinjitzu Sensei?" Nya asked Sensei Wu

"First we must retrieve a scroll, unfortunately the scroll was last being hidden in the Warehouse" Sensei Wu explained to us "So we must make a daring attempt to sneak to the Warehouse and bring it back here"

"I suggest some of us stay back here, just in case the Serpentine and Lord Garmadon find out about this place" Zane suggested "They are most likely on high alert after seeing our dragons land in the city"

"I-I-I volunteer t-to stay b-behind!" Jay shouted out

"Jay, Zane, Skylor and Harumi will stay here and protect the base while Nya, Kai, Lloyd, Cole and myself go to retrieve the scroll of Spinjitzu" Sensei Wu told us all

Nya, Kai and myself grabbed our Golden Weapons and got ready to leave the secret base, Lloyd grabbed his sword while Sensei Wu took his old trust wooden bo staff with him, and of course some tea

"Good luck you guys" Skylor said wishing us luck, as she pecked Kai on the lips making Kai worthy of the title "The Red Ninja"

Skylor's little sign of affection really made me miss Seliel, I really hope she's doing okay, I should really call her after this mission. We all said our goodbyes and sneakily exited the secret base, making sure no Serpentine saw us exit

We all made sure to be very stealthy on our way to the Warehouse, it was a bit of a far walk so we took our time just to be sure we wouldn't be seen. As we passed several Serpentine I noticed how different they all were, some were blue and grey and had weird hypnotic like eyes. While others were a venomous green and some were red and had two heads! The last Serpentine we saw looked black and orange and looked very strong, but I bet they still didn't stand a chance against my strength!

After hiding in plain sight for awhile we finally reached the Warehouse, glad it was untouched. We made sure not to make much noise getting in, only opening up the doors enough so we could barely squeeze inside. Inside we were relieved to see our mechs were untouched, these will definitely help us in the fight to reclaim Ninjago City!

"Alright Sensei where is this scroll? We have to be quick" Nya asked Sensei Wu who began wandering around the Warehouse

"I do believe it is over there" Sensei Wu said pointing over to his mediation room at the back of the Warehouse

Lloyd wandered over into the mediation room and looked around for the scroll, after a minute or two he came out of the room successful, holding the scroll in his hand

"Excellent work Lloyd! Now we must be getting back to the others before it is too late" Sensei Wu told us

We did the same thing we did getting in and only opened the doors enough to squeeze out, being as quiet and ninja like as we could. Soon we were back to ducking behind cars and blending in to get back to the others

Everything was going according to plan, we were sneaking across the city just fine. But it all went downhill when Lloyd's sword accidentally fell off his back and fell onto the ground with a loud metallic clang, suddenly a bunch of those green Serpentine came right around the corner and raised their weapons at us, must have been a patrol group making their rounds

"I've been itching to get back into action!" Nya quipped as she pulled out her Trident of Water

"Attack!" One of the green Serpentine yelled at the others, making them all run towards us with their weapons ready to strike

I pulled out my Scythe of Quakes and swung at one of the Serpentine sending them right onto their scaly back! I turned around and swung at a Serpentine who was trying to attack me from behind, I looked over to my left and saw Lloyd slash down a few Serpentine. Kai pulled out his Sword of Fire and shot a few fireballs sending multiple Serpentine flying into nearby buildings, Nya slammed her Trident of Water onto the ground sending a wave of water towards the Serpentine washing them down the streets

But the Serpentine just kept coming, every time we knocked down one another five turned the corner and joined the fight, and we were all getting pretty tired so the Serpentine managed to overpower us a little, just as things looked to be ending for us Sensei Wu spun around into his Spinjitzu tornado and flung the Serpentine away

"Wow! Now I really want to learn Spinjitzu!" Kai shouted over the sounds of swords clashing

"You all must try to learn Spinjitzu now! If not I fear these Serpentine will overpower us and we will fall right into my brother's hands!" Sensei Wu shouted at us as he blocked an attack with his bo staff

Lloyd quickly took the scroll of Spinjitzu off his back and began studying it, I watched as he attempted to spin around but nothing happened

"Spinjitzu is all about momentum Lloyd!" Sensei Wu shouted over at Lloyd who took his advice

We all watched on as Lloyd rushed towards some Serpentine, jumping over them and avoiding their swords. Suddenly he spun into a green Spinjitzu tornado! Lloyd tossed the scroll over to Kai who did the exact same thing and burst into a fiery red Spinjitzu vortex! Kai threw the scroll over to his sister and she too spun around into a watery blue Spinjitzu tornado!

"Catch Cole!" Nya shouted at me, I jumped into the air and grabbed the scroll, I looked at it for a split second before following the other's actions

I charged at a couple Serpentine and leaped over their heads, I then dodged their swords and spun into my own rocky black Spinjitzu tornado!

"Retreat!" One of the snakes yelled, the Serpentine all turned around and started running away

"That was awesome!" I exclaimed, pumped to use Spinjitzu some more

As we were celebrating our victory, a lone Serpentine snuck up on us unbeknownst to us, but Kai must have seen him as he lunged forwards to protect his sister who the Serpentine was aiming at

"Nya!" Kai shouted at his sister pushing her out of the way, and before he could protect himself the green Serpentine shot out a venom like substance hitting Kai right in the face! We all rushed to see if Kai was okay

"Kai?! Kai are you okay?!" Nya asked frantically, worried about her brother. Kai didn't say anything, he just groaned in pain as his eyes slowly turned a venomous green, soon Nya was consumed by anger and grabbed the Serpentine right by it's scales

"I'm gonna have your head on my wall!" Nya yelled at the Serpentine with her trident raised and ready to behead him, but before Nya could do it Sensei Wu stepped in

"Stop Nya! Your brother will be fine, it is only a bit of Venomari venom, he will recover" Sensei Wu told Nya started to calm down

"Wait we could really use this Serpentine, we could use him to tell us all about my father's plans" Lloyd suggested

"That was a great idea Lloyd, since Nya is so fond of him she can carry him to our secret base. Just make sure to knock him out first" Sensei Wu said to Nya who smirked and cracked her knuckles

"Nighty nighty scaly!" Nya said to the Serpentine before she punched him right in the face knocking him unconscious, she then slung him over her back and joined us in getting back to our secret base

Lloyd walked up to the brick wall where the secret base was hidden and knocked five times, a little system he and Harumi came up with before we left. The brick wall opened up and we hurried in, I quickly placed Kai down on a nearby bench

"What happened?!" Skylor asked rushing up to us worried

"Nothing to be very worried about, he just took a bit of Venomari venom to the eyes. It will naturally leave his body after awhile" Sensei Wu told Skylor with a reassuring smile

"I-I-Is there anything w-w-we can do to h-help him?" Jay asked Sensei Wu

"The only thing we can do is let him rest" Sensei Wu told us all

"Was the mission a success Sensei?" Zane asked Sensei Wu who nodded

"We got the scroll right here!" Lloyd said whipping out the scroll to show everyone

"Me, Kai, Lloyd and Nya already learned it back in the city when we were attacked by some Serpentine" I explained to the others

"So that just leaves Jay and Zane to learn it" Nya said to us

"You seem to be forgetting Skylor and Harumi Nya" Sensei Wu said to Nya "Even non Elemental Masters can learn Spinjitzu"

"Oh this is going to be fun!" Harumi said jumping up and down excited

"Well then, let us get this Spinjitzu training started!" Sensei Wu said to us
