"Alright....and done!" Kai shouted triumphantly as he dropped his pen onto the table, finally having finished his part of the group project hours after everybody else had already finished theirs 

"Huh?" Cole was suddenly awoken by the noise, ending his nap on the couch with Seliel lying beside him waking up as well "Oh, hooray" He tiredly said, wiping a bit of drool from his mouth before standing up and helping Seliel to her feet as she rubbed her tired eyes 

Nya strolled over to her brother and gave him a playful punch on his right arm "Finally bro! I never thought you would be able to do it!" She chuckled while looking at his final work, it certainly wasn't as good as her part but as long as they passed the assignment that's really all that counts 

"Since we're now finally done with this group project, I'm gonna head home" Seliel said with a yawn followed by a stretch "See you all tomorrow for the presentation" She waved to her group members, making sure to give Cole the extra special goodbye of a kiss on the cheek before leaving the Smith residence

Right as Seliel closed the door behind her, everyone in the room got a sudden notification from the Secret Ninja Force group chat "It's from Lloyd, he says to meet up at the warehouse" Harumi told the other Ninja 

"Alright sounds good to me" Cole said, slinging his black backpack over his shoulder "Ugh speak for yourself" Kai groaned as he stood up from his seat, grabbing his crutches and making his way over to the other three Ninja "You don't have to walk everywhere with these things" He gestured to the two crutches 

"Well you could always just ditch them, your ankle isn't that bad" Harumi told Kai with crossed arms, not very pleased with the Fire Ninja's attempt at gaining attention "Hey I don't mind carrying you there" Cole offered his services to the injured teen who immediately got flashbacks to earlier that day, being carried to his classes over his teammate's shoulder as everyone laughed at him "Absolutely not!" Kai instantly shot down Cole's offer

Nya chuckled as she remembered the photo she took of her brother being helplessly slung over Cole's shoulder "Hey I've got it!" Nya snapped her fingers as her mind came up with an idea "I'll give you a ride there on my motorcycle! It's been awhile since I've last ridden it so I'm dying to feel the wind against my face after so long" She told Kai who looked hesitant about the idea 

"Eh I don't know sis, I'd be better off taking the subway" Kai backed away from his grinning sister but Nya wasn't about to back down "Oh nonsense bro, we'll be there way faster with my motorcycle, and we'll be doing it in style" Nya began to drag Kai towards the front door before turning her head to Cole and Harumi "Sorry guys, but two is the limit"

"Don't sweat it, we'll just Ninja our way there" Cole replied as the four of them exited the Smith home, Nya quickly dusted off her Lady Iron Dragon paint job before throwing Kai onto the back and getting on herself, instructing Kai to hold on incredibly tight as she revved the engine of the silver motorbike, suddenly shooting down the city road swerving in and out of multiple cars, Kai screaming for his life 

Cole and Harumi dropped down from a stack of shipping containers resting beside their warehouse base, the two of them slipped through the small opening in the large doors with Cole making sure to press the button to fully close them before they both unmasked themselves, seeing the rest of the Ninja casually sitting down, well except for Kai, he was still pretty shaken up about riding with Nya 

"Hey there you two" Lloyd stood up from his spot on the red sofa to happily greet the two Ninja, giving Harumi a more happier greeting than Cole who just walked past the Green Ninja to grab a soda from the fridge "So how did your group project go?" Lloyd asked Harumi as they walked over to the sofa hand in hand 

"It was fine I guess" She replied to the blonde as the two sat down on the couch "Kai sure took his time though" The white haired teen glanced over at Kai on the other end of the couch, visibly shaking as Skylor comforted him "S-S-S-So f-f-fast" Was the only thing he could say, his wide eyes locked forward 

The others couldn't help but slightly chuckle at Kai's terrified state, it wasn't everyday they got to see the Red Ninja look as pale as Jay "Oh come on bro, I wasn't even going full speed" Nya came up behind her brother and lightly shook him, breaking him out of his trance "Even if you're driving on the lowest speed I will never ride that motorcycle ever again!" Kai shouted out 

"Ah hello students" Master Wu greeted the Ninja as the old man suddenly appeared behind his pupils, making most of them yelp and turn pale like Kai had before "Greetings Master" Zane respectfully bowed in front of Wu, not fazed at all from the sudden appearance of their wise mentor 

"Geez Master Wu, you came out nowhere! How did you do that?!" Skylor asked Wu who chuckled "Only a true Ninja Master can know of such a secret" Master Wu told the Orange Ninja as he stroked his well groomed beard "What brings you all here to the warehouse? There is no current threat so shouldn't you all be out doing teenage things such as catching bugs?" Wu questioned the Ninja who just looked at him strangely 

"Um no offence Master Wu but teenage things you did are a lot different to teenage things nowadays" Cole said before chugging down his soda and expertly throwing the empty can into the nearby trash "We just wanted to hang out here and relax after doing some school work that's all" Lloyd answered his teachers question 

Master Wu nodded his head "Hmm I see, well I shall leave you all to relax and do teenage things as I enjoy some tea" He told his students before beginning to slowly walk away "Uh wait Master Wu, we had a question for you if that's ok?" Lloyd asked his uncle 

"Of course, what is it?" Wu curiously replied to his nephew "Jay, Zane, Skylor and I were working on a group project about Captain Soto and we found this picture in one of the books we used for research" Lloyd explained to the old man as he showed him a photo of the picture on his phone, Master Wu stroked his beard as he examined it 

"Captain Soto's ship looks exactly like the Destiny's Bounty, you told us that your friends at L.E.G.O gave you the ship but here it is in this book, how is that possible?" The green eyed teen asked "Well I do believe they told me that they had salvaged the remains of a famous pirate ship they came across in the Sea of Sands and rebuilt it into the Destiny's Bounty we now fly" Master Wu explained to the Ninja "Speaking of the Destiny's Bounty, where is it? It is not docked outside like it usually is, please do not tell me that my brother stole it" Wu asked with a groan 

The Ninja all shared a few glances between each other, wondering who was going to break the unfortunate news to their Master "Ummm w-w-well you uhh s-s-see the G-Great Devourer umm k-k-kind of a-ate it" Jay finally stepped forward and told Wu "What?! You're telling me that the Great Devourer ate the Destiny's Bounty?!" The old man asked in disbelief, with his students merely nodding 

"So many precious memories and artefacts were being held on that ship..." Wu rubbed his wrinkled forehead in frustration "I lived on that ship...." The old man sombrely said, looking down at the warehouse floor "Uhhh s-s-sorry about t-that" Jay awkwardly spoke as he rubbed the side of his right arm, not really sure how to respond 

Master Wu hung his head low and with a groan began walking away from his students who just went back to what they were doing before the old man appeared, deciding to give their mentor some time to himself after learning of his beloved ship being destroyed. Lloyd watched his uncle walk away and removed himself from the Ninja group, following after the old man

"Um Master Wu? I have another question" Lloyd told his uncle as he followed behind him, Master Wu stopped in his tracks and turned to face his nephew "What is it this time Lloyd? Do not tell me something else has been destroyed" The old man asked with a slight groan "No no everything else is fine, it's about my powers Master, I think I'm starting to unlock them" 

Master Wu's eyes lit up after hearing his nephew say this "This calls for mentor talk!" Wu declared before the bearded man leaped into action and sat the two of them down on a set of wooden chairs, pouring both of them large cups of tea that Lloyd just placed down on a nearby crate "Now please do tell me how you unlocked your powers" Wu eagerly asked while he took a sip of his tea 

"Well it was during our battle against the Great Devourer, it had me cornered and I thought I was done for, but when I opened my eyes I could see a green force field protecting me from the Devourer's bite, it didn't last long but surely this means I'm unlocking my powers right? That I'm close to unlocking my True Potential?" Lloyd asked his uncle sitting across from him, the bearded man was in deep thought as he continued to drink his tea 

"It seems that when you were placed in incredible danger you managed to connect to the energy within you, creating a force field just strong enough to save yourself" Wu explained to his nephew who listened intently "So when do you think I'll be able to control my powers? Or when will I unlock my True Potential like the other Ninja?" Lloyd keenly asked 

Wu stroked his beard before responding "If you follow the correct training I believe that you will be able to control your powers soon, but your True Potential may take some time to unlock, your power is very different from the other Ninja" Master Wu informed his blonde student 

"How different Master? Is it because my power doesn't have a Golden Weapon like the others?" The Green Ninja questioned "You are the elemental master of Energy, your power is almost limitless in what it can accomplish, but with this great power comes great patience, it will take quite some time to fully control the power you hold within you nephew" Wu spoke to the green eyed blonde 

"Well I don't care how long it takes I'll do it!" Lloyd jumped up from his seat, pumping his fist into the air, Wu chuckled at his nephews response before standing up himself "And I look forward to helping you do whatever it takes" He gave the Green Ninja a smile "Now if you excuse me I am going to try and see if my friends at L.E.G.O have a spare ship I can have" The old man said before spinning around and disappearing right in front of Lloyd's eyes

Lloyd confusingly looked at where his uncle was just a mere second ago before choosing to just shrug it off and go back to the other Ninja, that trick truly is only for Ninja Masters as not even the writer can describe what Wu just did 

"Okay thank you for that very interesting presentation about the history of cheerleading" Mr. Saunders ushered Maggie and the other cheerleaders apart of her group back to their seats "But unfortunately the group project was actually about Captain Soto and not cheerleading, this will be reflected in your grades" He told the girls before returning to his wooden desk 

He wrote down a few notes about the presentation and looked at his record book to see which group will be presenting next "Can Kai Smith, Cole Brookstone, Harumi Jade, Seliel Violet and Nya Smith please go to the top of the class to present their group project" The grey haired teacher called out the names of the next group 

The four Ninja and Seliel all quietly made their way to top of the class, or as quietly as they could with Kai's crutches knocking into almost every desk on the way up. Once at the top of the class the five of them began whispering amongst each other to decide who would go first, with Nya deciding to volunteer herself 

Nya stood in front of the black chalk board and cleared her throat before beginning her part of the project "Hello, my name is Nya Smith, and for our group project I was tasked with researching the other pirate crews that Captain Soto encountered" She confidently stood in front of the entire class and went through every piece of information she had, not even needing the research in front of her 

"And that leads me to The Pirates of Barracuda Bay who stood no chance against the crew of the Destiny's Bounty, with the crew along with their ship sinking into the Endless Sea. Thank you for listening to my part of the project" Nya bowed to the class as she finished her section of the group project, moving to the left so that Cole could go next 

Cole took his spot in front of the chalk board and pulled out numerous pieces of paper from his pockets, slowly reading through them all before stuffing them back into his pockets and joining Nya, giving Harumi her time in the spotlight. The white haired teen strolled to the front of the class and just like Nya, presented her part of the project very confidently, only needing to look at her notes a few times 

Seliel went next and just like Cole read through some loose pieces of paper, stepping to the side for the final member of the group to finish the presentation. Kai used his crutches to make his way to the front of the class, the spiky haired teen reached into his red pants to retrieve many crumpled up pieces of paper 

Seeing that Kai was having trouble with this, Cole being the good bro he is took the paper out of Kai's pocket and held them out in front of him, allowing him to read the poorly written notes while holding onto his crutches. It took the Fire Ninja awhile but he eventually understood his own hand writing and finished presenting his research, ending the group presentation 

"Very nice presentation, you may now all return to your seats" Mr. Saunders told the group, with the four Ninja and Seliel quietly sitting back down, Kai of course knocking into every desk he could "It looks like that leaves one last group, may Lloyd Garmadon, Chad Parks, Skylor Chen, Zane Julien and Jay Walker please come to the front of the class to present the final presentation of the day" Saunders called out the final group 

The four Ninja along with Chad made their way to the top of the classroom, Jay almost bumping into a snake themed armour set on his way up, it would be an understatement to say that he was  losing his mind over this presentation. Zane stepped out from the group to begin the presentation 

"Greetings fellow teenagers, my name is Zane Julien and I shall be to the one to begin our group presentation about Captain Soto. I was tasked with researching Captain Soto's later life and here are my findings" Zane spoke to the class before going into incredible detail about Captain Soto's later life, perfectly going through every piece of information he had stored in his memory bank, being a Nindroid sure does have its perks 

After almost an hour of Zane standing still and speaking to the class, he finally reached the end of his part of the project "That shall be all from me, thank you for listening, I will now pass you onto Chad Parks who shall cover Captain Soto's early life" Zane thanked the class with a stiff bow before stepping to the side and gesturing for Chad to step in front of the chalk board 

Chad begrudgingly stepped to where Zane motioned and took out a red notebook covered in Green Ninja stickers, the brown haired cheerleader captain began to slowly read out to the class what he had written, Zane occasionally needing to help him read a word or two. Chad eventually  figured out the last word by himself and finished his part of the project with a mic drop, or a notebook drop in this case "Boom! Now that is how you do a presentation!" Chad fist bumped the air, earning a round of applause from the class

Skylor followed after Chad and did a good job of presenting her research on Captain Soto's crew before handing things over to Lloyd, the blonde teen took his time and explained the many different parts of Soto's version of the Destiny's Bounty, showing off a few pictures of the pirate ship 

With Zane, Chad, Harumi, Skylor and Lloyd finished their parts of the presentation, that only left one last member, Jay. Lloyd gave the nervous Jay a small smile of encouragement as he stepped away from the chalk board, leaving the spot empty for Jay to finish the presentation

On the inside Jay was totally freaking out, while on the outside he was also totally freaking out. He fiddled with his orange scarf as he slowly stepped in front of the chalk board, looking down at the classroom floor not daring to look at any of his classmates. The auburn haired teen calmed his racing mind with a few deep breaths, slowly lifting his head to look at the class who stared right back at him 

"Umm.....m-m-my.....uhhh....p-p-part of t-the ummm....g-g-group project.....was.....to uhhhh" Jay managed to stutter out through his nervousness, rubbing his arm as he avoided making eye contact with any of his classmates "R-R-Research......uhhh...o-other pirate c-c-crews.....that ummmm C-Captain S-S-Soto......f-fought" He nervously spoke before slipping a hand into his dark tan trousers to pull out a set of colourful cue cards, only to have them all fall out of his sweaty hands and scatter across the classroom floor 

"Ahh! I-I-I'm so s-sorry!" Jay yelped as he dropped to the floor to pick up all of his cards, much to  the amusement of his classmates who laughed at the poor teen frantically gathering his cards before standing back up "O-O-One of t-the........uhh p-pirate crews......t-t-that Captain S-S-Soto uhhhh f-fought......was umm the c-crew of M-Misfortune's K-K-Keep" 

With each word leaving his mouth Jay grew more and more nervous, what if he said the wrong thing? Everyone would surely make fun of him, what if he dropped his cards again? The laughter would be much louder this time. It was as if Jay could hear everything in the room, all of the comments his classmates were saying about him and all the judging looks he was getting made him sweat even more  

But there was one pair of eyes that weren't judging, instead they looked encouraging and were the most beautiful ocean blue colour Jay had ever seen. Of course those eyes belonged to the Water Ninja who gave the freckled teen a reassuring smile that was able to calm his nerves down just enough for him to continue with the presentation, clutching his cards as to not drop them and look like a fool in front of her, for the second time 

"C-C-Captain S-Soto's ummm m-m-main rival was the uhhhh crew of M-Misfortune's K-K-Keep, their captain was umm the D-Djin Prince N-N-Nadakhan who uhhh h-had the umm ability to grant w-w-wishes, Captain S-Soto was ummm able to t-trap the D-Djin in the T-T-Teapot of uhhh T-Tyrahn before separating t-the crew of M-Misfortune's K-K-Keep across d-different realms" Jay stuttered out the remaining information on his cue cards, awkwardly shuffling over to the other members of his group as he had finally finished his part of the presentation, letting out a huge sigh of relief as Lloyd gave him a pat on the back 

"Very good presentation, you all may return to your seats now" Mr. Saunders said to the group as he wrote down some notes about the presentation, with the five members of the group quickly sitting themselves down "I will allow you all to have some chatty chat chat while I grade your presentations" Saunders told his students who wasted no time in moving around the classroom until they were all in their friend groups, Chad finally reuniting with his fellow cheerleaders 

The Ninja and Seliel gathered together at Kai's graffiti covered desk "Thank the First Spinjitzu Master the presentations are finally over" Seliel yawned while sitting down on a wooden desk beside Kai's "T-T-That was w-w-worse than fighting t-t-the Great D-Devourer!" Jay stuttered as he ran a shaking hand through his untamed locks "I-I-I'm totally gonna f-fail this p-project" He mumbled, nervously rubbing his arm

"What? You failing something? That doesn't sound like you" Cole chuckled from across the Blue Ninja "Yeah, what makes you say that Jay?" Lloyd asked his fidgeting best friend "I-I was a t-total wreck up t-t-there! M-Mr. Saunders is t-totally gonna t-t-take away points f-for that!" Jay hid his face within his hands 

"Oh don't worry about it Jay, I think you did great" Nya smiled at the nervous teen "O-Oh, ummm t-thanks N-Nya" He sheepishly accepted the compliment, hiding a slight blush with his orange scarf "So you guys got any plans for the weekend?" Seliel asked the group with most members shaking their heads

Cole was about to say something but before the sleeveless teen could the final bell of the day loudly ran, ending the History class and the school day, with all the students racing to leave the building "You will receive your grades in the next class!" Mr. Saunders shouted after the swarm of students exiting his classroom, multiple ancient relics almost being destroyed in the process 

After the swarm of students had finally dispersed, the Ninja and Seliel were conveniently left right at the entrance to the school "Cya guys, see you all on Monday" Seliel waved goodbye to the Ninja before walking down the hallway towards her locker "To the warehouse?" Lloyd asked the rest of the Ninja who all nodded in agreement, except for one 

"You guys go on ahead, I uh have to speak to Seliel for a second" Cole told the other Ninja as they walked through the large red doors of the school with Cole quickly following after Seliel who was busy stuffing her orange locker with the many books of the day 

Seliel finished sorting out her locker and upon closing the metal door she came face to face with a somewhat nervous Cole "Oh hey Cole, you going to your locker too?" She asked the shaggy haired teen "Um no, I'm actually here to uh ask you something" Cole told Seliel, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head 

"What is it?" The now curious Seliel asked her boyfriend, tilting her head a little "Well uh you see, my dad was able to get me two tickets to um that rock concert this weekend and I was just wondering uh, if you maybe wanted to go with me?" Cole asked the purple and blue haired girl in front of him, Cole may come off as the coolest and most laid back member of the team, but even he can get nervous asking his own girlfriend out on a date 

"Like a date?" Seliel asked with a coy smile "Um yes? If that's okay with you" Cole replied in a nervous tone "Of course Cole, I would love to go on this rock concert date with you" Seliel happily accepted Cole's date offer before leaning in and giving the Earth Ninja a peck on the cheek "Sorry but my father really wants me to be home on time today, just text me the rest of the details!" She said to her boyfriend as she hurried out of the school, a blush and a happy smile on her face 

Cole stood there for a moment somewhat dazed from the sudden kiss before smirking to himself, shaking his head as he chased after the other Ninja, eagerly awaiting the next day when he and Seliel could finally share some time together 

And so with Cole asking Seliel out on a rock and roll date this chapter of Ninja Life comes to an end, what band are they going to see? Will Wu find a new place to sleep? And will we ever find out Wu's secret Ninja Master trick?!
