(Nya's POV)

"Take that!" Harumi loudly shouted as she kicked Skales right in the face and onto the ground!

Lloyd's sword clashed with Acidicus' staff whilst Skylor's arrows were knocked out of the air by Fangtom, Cole's Scythe knocked down a large piece of timber from the ceiling trapping Skalidor under it

I decided to join in on the fight with a quick swing of my Trident directed towards Fangtom who barely blocked my attack, Harumi charged towards me and knocked down Fangtom from behind. As we were fighting with the generals the other Serpentine began tearing down parts of the wooden building and making their way inside to fight us 

Zane wielded his Shurikens and tried to freeze all the entrances but the Venomari just spat their venom and melted away the ice, soon we were swarmed from every side by several Serpentine. The generals laughed as they picked themselves up and ordered the Serpentine to deal with us while they slithered away, ugh we can't let them get away!

"Now would be a really good time for Kai and Jay to come back!" Lloyd spoke out as he kicked away a Hypnobrai 

"We don't need them to get out of this!" I shouted out knocking back a few Constrictai with a small wave of water from my Trident 

"We'll try spinning, that's a good trick!" Harumi suggested, getting into a Spinjitzu stance 

Looking at each other we all nodded in agreement and joined Harumi in our Spinjitzu stances. One by one we spun into Spinjitzu and spun all around the destroyed ghost ride knocking out the nearby Serpentine, they began flooding out of the rundown ride with their tails tucked between their legs, literally

"Now let's go after Kai and Jay!" Cole told us, we all ran out of the old ghost ride and towards where Kai and Jay chased after Pythor and the Fang Blade 

"Where are they?!" Skylor groaned in frustration as we searched for my brother and Jay. We searched all over Mega Monster Amusement Park and couldn't find them! We were about to give up until we heard a loud yelp coming from a nearby alleyway outside of the park

"That is definitely my brother!" I said to the others before I shot off in the direction of the yelp, with the others following behind me closely 

Arriving at the location of the yelp I looked around for my brother, just as we were about to look in the alleyway a red blur came flying out of it and slammed into the brick wall nearby. Rushing over I found Kai lying against the brick wall groaning in pain

"Are you okay?!" I asked frantically as I helped him onto his feet

"Yeah I'm fine" Kai grunted as he rubbed his head "But Jay isn't"

"What happened to him?!" I asked with worry, ugh I swear if Pythor touched a single hair on his head! 

"I don't really know, it all just kind of happened" Kai said to us as he got his Sword of Fire ready

"What just kind of happened?" Zane asked Kai as he scanned him for injuries

But before Kai could explain to us what happened to them a sudden hiss could be heard behind us, we all slowly turned our heads to see what was staring at us and I almost fainted at what we saw

There stood a hissing and angered Serpentine, but not any Serpentine. Jay's Ninja suit was worn by the Serpentine, torn all over. His hair was turned green and his beautiful blue eyes were now replaced by intimating reptilian eyes. Fangs stuck out of his mouth along with a Serpentine tongue, Jay hissed at us as he started to move towards us slowly with his clawed hands ready to attack 

"What happened to him?!" I asked Kai who was just as confused as me 

"I don't know!" Kai replied panicked "We cornered Pythor and then he just transformed into a Serpentine!"

"The only way for that to have happened is if Jay had been bitten by a Fangpyre" Zane informed us 

"That must have been why he was acting so weird after the Junkyard!" I yelled out in realisation 

Jay suddenly lunged towards us, Cole stepped forward and stopped him with his Scythe 

"Stop it Jay! This isn't you!" Cole shouted at Jay, trying to get through to him

But it didn't work, Jay just hissed at Cole as he grabbed onto his Scythe and threw Cole into a dumpster nearby

"I guess we'll just have to knock some sense into him!" Skylor said as she readied her bow for attack 

"We mustn't hit him too hard" Zane started to tell us "Even though he has been transformed he is still our fellow Ninja" 

All of us nodded in agreement, putting away our weapons and deciding to only use them in severe situations, which hopefully won't happen. Skylor was the first to go after Jay, she swung her fist at Jay who easily ducked under the attack and slammed Skylor into the cracked brick wall, becoming a Serpentine must have given him extra strength! Lloyd leaped into the air and tried to kick Jay down, but Jay quickly grabbed Lloyd's foot and swung him in the air until throwing him into Cole. Zane decided it was time to use his Golden Weapon, he pulled out his Shurikens and froze Jay's feet, but it proved pointless as Jay's tail cracked the ice letting his feet free and allowing him to kick Zane down onto the ground with a clang

Harumi, Skylor and I looked at each other and nodded, knowing we would need to talk him on at the same time to overpower him. Harumi ran at him first, Jay swung a clawed hand at her but instead of getting hit she slid under Jay's legs and grabbed his tail from behind making Jay let out another hiss. Skylor and I ran at Jay together whilst he was being held back by Harumi, Skylor landed a quick attack on Jay's scaly chest before ducking an attack from Jay's fist, it was my turn to attack as I charged towards him and kicked him onto his back. The others were all helped back onto their feet as Jay picked himself back up and hissed at us in anger 

"Looks like we just made him angrier!" Kai pointed out as we all backed up

Jay suddenly pulled out his Nunchucks of Lightning and shot a lightning bolt right at us! Luckily all of us managed to dodge the attack just in the nick of time, taking away his Golden Weapon probably should have been our first move 

"Well if he's gonna use his weapon we're gonna use ours!" Cole said as he took his Scythe of Quakes off his back 

Another bit of lightning came at us but Cole used his Scythe to rise up a portion of the ground to block the lightning, I jumped into the air and slammed my Trident onto the ground sending a wave of water towards Jay who struck the wave of water with lightning making the water explode into the air! Kai swung his Sword of Fire in a circle, trapping Jay in a ring of fire. We thought it was over, but Jay spun into his Spinjitzu and just went right through the fire! He spun into Lloyd and Zane knocking them over, before he could knock the rest of us over Skylor spun into her own Spinjitzu and their tornados clashed and the both of them were flung back onto the ground

"That's my girl!" Kai grinned as he helped Skylor up, thank The First Spinjitzu Master they have their masks on

Jay shot up madder than ever, but instead of fighting us he put his Nunchucks back onto his back and started running away! 

"I'm going after him!" I told the others before I chased after Jay, I can't let him get away! 

Jay was running down the streets of the City destroying every market stand in his way, civilians were being knocked out of the way and onto the ground as he ran wild. I was hot on his Serpentine tail, avoiding all the stuff he was throwing back at me and saving all the civilians I could. I threw my Trident at Jay but he managed to jump onto a nearby tuk tuk dodging my Trident, I grabbed my Golden Weapon and followed after Jay on the tops of the cars riding down the busy streets

After hopping across several car rooftops Jay jumped onto a rooftop and continued to run away, but I wasn't gonna let him get away that easily! I joined him on the rooftops and continued the chase, eventually I caught up to him and tackled him! 

"Please Jay fight it!" I cried out at him as he struggled under me

I was no match for his Serpentine strength as he finally managed to get me off of him, he hissed at me with his fangs ready to bite. His claws swiped at me and I was knocked back with a grunt, charging at him I tried to knock him off the rooftop with my Trident but he avoided the Trident and lunged at me, almost knocking me off the building! Luckily my right hand barely grabbed on to the ledge saving myself, I tried to pull myself back onto the rooftop but Jay made his way over and his scaly foot stomped onto my hand! My grip started to loosen but I held on with all my strength! 

"Jay you have to snap out of this!" I cried at him as I started to struggle under his foot 

Jay just continued to hiss at me as he raised his claw hand and got ready to swipe at me, I closed my eyes shut as I got ready for the pain but it never happened. I looked up confused to see Jay just standing there with his clawed hand in the air, looking almost as confused as me

I looked into his reptilian eyes and no longer saw anger, the anger looked to be replaced by fear as his eyes started to turn back to their regular blue. It only lasted a moment as Jay shook his head and anger consumed his eyes once more, hissing at me once more he lifted his foot off my hand and bolted away quickly. I pulled myself back onto the rooftop and met back up with the others and told them the bad news 

"Now what are we supposed to do?!" Kai asked as he entered the Warehouse 

"Welcome back Ninja" Sensei greeted us, he stood still when he couldn't see Jay "Where is Jay?"

"You wouldn't believe it Sensei!" Cole started to tell Sensei "He turned into a Serpentine!"

"So that explains his odd behaviour" Sensei stroked his beard wisely as always 

"What are gonna do Sensei?" Harumi asked Sensei 

"We must cure him of this transformation!" Sensei told us as he smacked his staff against the ground 

"But how?" I asked Sensei

"Each Serpentine staff holds an anti-venom which counteracts whatever powers that a Serpentine has used on someone" Sensei explained to us "If we can obtain the Fangpyre staff we can extract the anti-venom and cure Jay"

"So how are we supposed to get the Fangpyre staff?" Skylor asked us all 

"If we hurry we might be able to catch them before they make it back to Lord Garmadon's Volcano" Zane told us as he looked at the cameras all around the City, watching the Serpentine vehicles race across the City 

"Then that's our plan! Kai, Zane and Cole will go after the staff while the rest of us stay here and think of a way to find Jay" Lloyd told us

Kai, Cole and Zane quickly threw on their Ninja masks and ran out of the Warehouse and summoned their vehicles, they sped off in the direction of the Serpentine leaving us to think of a way to find Jay 

(Cole's POV)

"Look! There they are!" Kai pointed at the large Serpentine vehicles which were tearing up the road 

"We must separate Fangtom from the rest of the Serpentine, that way it will be much easier for us to grab the staff" Zane told us as he raced beside me and Kai on his small Snowmobile 

"I'll drive up to them and try split them apart!" I said the others as I raced up ahead so I was just behind the Serpentine 

"Ninja!" A Serpentine yelled out as they saw me behind their Serpentine truck 

One of the Serpentine's Bite Cycles spun around and quickly shot a missile right at me, but thanks to the toughness of my vehicle it didn't leave a single scratch! 

"Now it's my turn!" I grinned whilst my hand slammed down on one of the buttons on the control panel shooting a large missile at the Bite Cycle wiping it out! 

A Fangpyre Truck whipped around and it's mouth began snapping away at me, ramming the front of my Tread Assault into the face of the Fangpyre Truck it spun out of control and crashed into another Serpentine vehicle. Now onto the splitting them apart part of the plan! 

I drove right into the middle of the fleet of Serpentine and moved left and right banging into the vehicles, they tried to ram me off the road but my Tread Assault was too heavy and armoured for them to do anything. Looking around I tried to spot which vehicle Fangtom was riding on and spotted him riding on the back of a Serpentine Truck, bingo! 

I aimed another missile at an old building which was being torn down and decided to save them some time, shooting the missile it blew up a large portion of the building which fell down and blocked the road, making the Serpentine quickly turn onto a different road. Zane was waiting for them just around the corner, he waited for all the Serpentine except Fangtom to ride past him, once Fangtom's truck rode past he fired some ice right in front of the truck making it crash into a large block of ice! Fangtom fell from the truck and got ready to attack Zane and I 

As Fangtom was focused on defending himself from me and Zane he didn't notice Kai speeding towards him from behind, a trail of fire behind his Blade Cycle! He extended one of his arms as he got closer to Fangtom and swiped the staff right out of Fangtom's hand!

"Hey! That'sssss my ssssstaff!" Fangtom shouted at Kai enraged as he rode away with Fangtom's staff on his back 

"Alright we got the staff" I told the others at the Warehouse over coms 

"Great work guys!" Lloyd congratulated us "Now hurry back here so we can cure Jay!"

(Nya's POV)

"Excellent work!" Sensei said to Kai, Zane and Cole as they ran inside the Warehouse with Fangtom's staff in Kai's right hand 

"So now what?" Kai asked Sensei as he handed him the staff 

"First we must extract the anti-venom" Sensei told us as he carefully removed the bright red orb from the staff "Now all we will need is Jay"

"How are we supposed to get him though? He could be anywhere!" Cole groaned 

"Our plan actually includes you Cole" I started to tell Cole who looked surprised 

"Me? Why?" Cole asked me with a brow raised 

"Well we're gonna need someone to lure him out with" I told Cole making his eyes widen in shock

"Me!? Why not someone expendable like Kai!" Cole yelled at Kai who shot Cole glare 

"I mean you and Jay weren't always the friendliest with each other" Lloyd said to Cole

"Ugh fine! I'll do it!" Cole crossed his arms in defeat

"So we're just gonna throw Cole onto the streets and expect Jay to suddenly show up?" Kai asked confused 

"Jay will most likely be looking for us around the City" Lloyd began to explain "He already knows what Cole smells like so if we do throw him onto the streets like you said he will pick up his scent  and go after him" 

"But what about me!? Jay will tear me into pieces!" Cole frantically shouted 

"Oh you'll be fine Cole" I giggled "We'll be watching over you and we will jump out once things get dicy"

"Perhaps we should stuff his pockets with a rat or two to make it easier for Jay to find him" Zane chuckled earning him a cold glare from Cole 

Cole looked around anxiously as he stepped into the middle of the area, stumbling back at the sight of a spider crawling across the cracked ground 

"Geez Cole, I've never seen you like this" Kai laughed over the coms 

"Well if you were being sacrificed to one of your friends who is now a Serpentine you wouldn't be too happy about it!" Cole yelled back at Kai as he waited for Jay to show up 

We all hid and waited patiently for Jay to show up, and when he did Cole started to sweat 

"H-Hey buddy" Cole nervously smiled at Jay who growled as he hopped off the dumpster he was on 

Jay slowly walked towards Cole with his tongue and fangs out ready to do some damage, Cole stayed as still as he could until Jay got right up and personal with him. Jay leaned forward slightly with his fangs ready to bite into Cole's skin

"NOW!" Lloyd shouted just before Jay bit Cole's neck

Jay looked up confused as Cole ducked for cover while Lloyd suddenly lunged out from his hiding place and tackled Jay to the ground! Lloyd pulled the anti-venom out of his pocket and fumbled with the container, just before Lloyd could open it up Jay whipped him across the face with his tail knocking Lloyd onto his back and making him drop the anti-venom. It rolled across the ground until it stopped at Harumi's foot

"Sorry Jay, but it looks like I'll have to use my weapons" Harumi pulled out her sai and put a few drops of the anti-venom on the tips of them and charged towards him 

Harumi swung one of her sai right at Jay's chest but he quickly moved to the side to avoid the weapon, Harumi swung at him again but his clawed hands knocked her sai out of her grasp and kicked her into a wall. Skylor followed Harumi's strategy and covered a few of her arrows in the anti-venom, she fired her arrows right at Jay but he quickly avoided all the arrows and slashed Skylor down, Zane jumped out of nowhere and onto Jay's back trying to stop him from doing any more harm. Jay grabbed Zane off his back and chugged him right into a dumpster! 

Kai's fiery Spinjitzu knocked Jay back a bit long enough for Kai to grab the anti-venom off the ground, he ran towards Jay and tried to splash him with it but Jay's tail suddenly slapped him in the chest making him fall to the ground dropping the anti-venom. Jay slowly walked towards the anti-venom but before he could grab it the terrain the anti-venom was resting on was raised up by Cole's Scythe out of Jay's grasp, Jay charged towards Cole who managed to whack him back with his Scythe, Jay reached for his Nunchucks but before he could use them I came into the battle and knocked them out of his hands. He instantly went to slice his attacker but stopped once his reptilian eyes realised it was me 

"Jay I know you're in there" I quietly started to talk to Jay, watching as his guard dropped "We only want to help you"

Jay stared at me as he stood completely still, with no more anger in his eyes 

"Please just let us help you" I stepped towards him with the anti-venom in my hand, he backed off for a second but went back to staying still 

I reached out my hand to show I wasn't going to hurt him, he looked at my hand for a moment until he placed his own scaly hand on top of it. I smiled at him and he smiled back a little, I then opened up the anti-venom and carefully put in inside of a syringe. Slowly and carefully I started to stick the syringe into Jay's scaly arm and started to inject the anti-venom into his bloodstream, I looked at Jay and saw his eyes turning back to normal! 

I could feel his scaly skin return back to normal, his hair started to go back to its regular messy auburn curls and his fangs and Serpentine tongue disappeared. Soon he finally returned back to normal completely and collapsed in my arms unconscious

"We did it!" Kai happily cheered as he helped Skylor up 

"Yeah we got him back to normal but he's unconscious!" I told Kai as I picked Jay up and held him in my arms 

"We will have to bring him back to the Warehouse to make sure he recovers fully" Zane informed us, we all nodded and made our way back to the Warehouse 

"Well done students!" Sensei congratulated us as we entered the Warehouse with Jay in my arms unconscious

"You know Nya, you and Jay look like a married couple when you carry him like that" Skylor whispered into my ear making my face heat up like fire, making me almost drop Jay 

"Please lie Jay down in the Medbay Nya" Sensei instructed me, I nodded and made my way into the Medbay 

I carefully placed Jay down on the bed in the Medbay and left him with Sensei to be examined, I really hope this Serpentine thing doesn't have any side effects, and I just really hope he's ok. Frowning I sat down on the couch and joined the others in waiting to see if Jay would be the regular Jay we all know and love 

The sound of feet walking towards us made our heads turn and see Sensei Wu leading Jay out of the Medbay looking completely fine, minus a few scratches here and there. Everyone sprang up to see Jay, I rushed forward to embrace Jay in the biggest hug I could 

"Oh Jay I'm so glad you're okay!" I told him relieved as I tightened my hug 

"T-T-Thanks N-Nya" Jay gasped out as I finally let him out of the hug, I sheepishly apologised for the very tight hug and let the others speak to him

"Great to have you back Zaptrap" Cole playfully punched Jay on the arm

"So how did you even become a Serpentine in the first place Jay?" Harumi asked Jay

"Oh ummm w-well it uhh a-all started back in t-t-the Junkyard" Jay started to explain to us whilst he rubbed the back of his neck "M-Me and Fangtom got into a f-fight and F-Fangtom managed to b-bite my n-neck"

"Why didn't you tell us Jay?" Sensei asked Jay 

"I-I didn't want to b-b-bother or worry you g-guys" Jay frowned looking down at the ground 

"Jay you would never bother us" Lloyd smiled at Jay "If anything you not telling us made us worry"

"Y-Yeah I guess you're r-r-right" Jay picked his head back up "I-I feel horrible a-a-about letting Pythor g-get away" 

"It is alright Jay, there are still three more Fang Blades needed for Pythor's plan. All we need to do is get one" Zane said to Jay in an attempt to cheer him up 

"Zane is right, all it will take is for us to get one of the Fang Blades" Sensei told us 

"Next time we'll for sure get the Fang Blade!" I said getting pumped up 

"I-I'll make sure n-n-not to get b-bitten this t-time" Jay joked making us all laugh 

It's great to have the good old Jay back, I don't know what I- we would have done without him
