(Skylor's POV)

"And those are all of the groups! No changing!" Mr. Saunders finished announcing the groups for the mysterious group project, from my wooden desk I looked around the History themed classroom to see how the other Ninja and Seliel were all handling their assigned groups

Cole, Kai, Nya, Seliel and Harumi all seemed perfectly fine with their group, Cole and Seliel look pretty happy to be apart of the same group, whereas Harumi looked upset about not being with Lloyd. I would say that I'm upset about not being paired with Kai but as much as I love him, I do have to admit that he can be a pretty big doofus at times, so maybe it isn't exactly a bad thing I'm not apart of his group and actually have a chance at passing this assignment

But I guess that kind of depends on who I got matched up with, Jay and Zane will no doubt be the two nerds of the group, with me of course being the face of the group while Lloyd will most likely be taking the role of group leader

And then there's Chad...

Looking to the back of the class I was greeted by the sight of the brown haired cheerleader peacefully snoring with not a care in the world

"Now that you all have been split into your groups, all of you must be going crazy crazy to find out what the project will be about yes?" Mr. Saunders tried to get us excited about the group project, only getting groans and mumbles in response "Well the group project will be about none other than the previously mentioned Captain Soto and his pirate crew!" The old man loudly exclaimed, waking Chad from his deep sleep 

I guess pirates are kind of cool, so maybe this group project won't be that much of a drag, even if we have to work with Chad Park of all people "In order to pass this assignment your project must include information about Captain Soto, his dangerous pirate crew, their pirate ship they used to sail across the sea and the other pirate crews they encountered during their swashbuckling adventures!" Mr. Saunders explained to us in his usual exaggerated manner, Mr. Saunders isn't at all the worst teacher in the school but he's definitely the weirdest....

"This project will be due for tomorrow's class and I expect every member in the group to partake in both putting it together and presenting, both of these will be considered when handing out your grades" The teacher in red told us before the final bell of the school day loudly rang "And don't forget to have fun fun fun!" He happily cheered as everyone left their seats to get into their assigned groups

Cole, Seliel, Kai, Harumi and Nya quickly got together and all gave the rest of us a wave goodbye before hurrying out of the classroom, leaving Lloyd, Jay, Zane and I, and Chad too I guess...

The four of us got into our assigned group and glanced at each other with the same frustrated look before all heading over to Chad who was still seated and seemed to be falling asleep again, he heard us approaching and looked up from his graffitied desk "What do you dorks want? Can't you see I'm trying to get some sleep?" He rudely said to us all

"Mr. Saunders' History class ended precisely 10.5 seconds ago Chad, the school day is over" Zane informed the male cheerleader "Oh so I can like go home now? Sweet" Chad casually replied before grabbing his dark blue backpack and standing up from his wooden chair, being stopped from leaving the room by us standing in his way "What's the big deal you dorks? The school day is over I ain't gonna learn about nothing else!" 

"Uh learn about anything else? You were sleeping for the entire class!" I angrily shouted at him "I need all the beauty sleep I can get so I can look fabulous during my cheerleading" He said whilst striking one of his cheerleader poses, making me want to slightly gag "Maybe you could do with a little beauty sleep yourself" Chad scoffed at me

My face left like it had turned completely red as my blood boiled, I rolled up my sleeves to teach Chad a non History related lesson but was unfortunately stopped by Lloyd putting his arm in the way "During your so called beauty sleep Mr. Saunders split the class into groups and assigned us all a group project about Captain Soto" Lloyd filled Chad in, letting me somewhat calm down 

"Oh hey pirates are pretty cool, who did I end up with? I hope I got matched up with Maggie" The brown haired cheerleader asked, only being met with us looking right back at him "Uh y-you're k-kind of umm looking a-a-at your g-group right n-now" Jay shyly spoke up from behind Zane "Ugh, you're telling me that I got paired up with half of the dork squad? This totally blows!" Chad groaned with his arms crossed 

"Look we're not pleased about it either" I told the arrogant teen "But if we all work together this  group project will be done in no time and our little group can disband, letting you go back to whatever you do" I told the cheerleader in front of me "Ugh, fine, let me just go put some stuff in my locker and then we can leave this place" Chad sighed before pushing past us and leaving the classroom, we followed behind him and once again shared frustrated glances at each other 

I tapped my foot impatiently as the four of us continued to wait outside of the school for Chad, it's been like 10 minutes by now! I swear if that stuck up jerk isn't out here in the next 20 seconds I'm gonna go back in there and drag him out by his hood! 

Luckily for Chad I didn't have to resort to such measures as the red doors finally opened with the male cheerleader stepping out and joining us just outside the school grounds "What took you so long!? We've been waiting here for 10 minutes!" I furiously asked him "10 minutes 25 seconds and 5 nanoseconds to be exact" Zane just had to correct me 

"Oh I kind of forgot about you guys, sorry about that I guess" Chad shrugged before beginning to walk along the concrete path, the four of us looking at each other with confused faces before speed walking after him "Ummm w-w-where are uhhh we g-going to work on ummm t-t-this project?" Jay asked us as we all walked down the city streets, Chad clearly not wanting to be seen with us 

The brown haired cheerleader in front of us pulled out a pair of earphones and quickly shoved them into his ears "Ugh, all that stuttering is gonna give me a headache" He muttered while continuing to walk ahead of us, Jay being clearly upset by his words, a large frown on his freckled face as he looked down and fiddled with the orange scarf around his neck 

Lloyd swiftly moved in front of Chad, stopping the jerk in place as he motioned for him to remove the earphones which he surprisingly did "What is it now? My favourite song was about to play" Chad complained "If you are going to be apart of this group you will treat each member with respect, meaning you will not be making any rude comments like what you just did with Jay" Lloyd sternly told the male cheerleader "Do you understand me?" 

"Yes Lloyd, I understand you" Chad groaned in annoyance, going to put his earphones back in but was stopped by Lloyd "I want you to apologise to Jay first, then you can listen to your music" The blonde Ninja told the arrogant cheerleader who once again groaned in annoyance "Fine, but I'm only doing it because your father saved us all" I rolled my eyes at the last part 

Chad turned around to face Jay who was hiding behind Zane, he sighed before finally speaking to the messy haired teen "I'm sorry if what I said hurt your feelings Jay or whatever your name is" Chad reluctantly said, almost sounding like a whisper but we could all hear it loud and clear "Uhhhh i-i-i-it's fine" Jay meekly accepted the cheerleader's apology, Chad turned away from the freckled teen and went right back to walking ahead of us, earphones back in his ears

"Sorry about that Jay, I'll make sure he doesn't do anything like that again" Lloyd spoke to the Blue Ninja with a smile who just shyly nodded in response "So where are we going to work on this group project?" He repeated Jay's question "There's no way we can do it at my apartment, I don't trust Chad in the slightest" 

"Same goes for me" I joined the conversation "I haven't even let any of you come over to my place yet so Chad is a total no, we're not doing it at my father's restaurant either" I told the other three Ninja "If h-h-he made f-f-fun of my s-s-stutter imagine what h-h-he would d-do when he f-finds out that I l-l-live in a j-junkyard!" Jay pointed out 

"I believe I have a solution to our problem" Zane suddenly spoke "The Ninjago City Library is the perfect place for us to work on our group project, along with Chad not entering any of our homes it will also have all the information we will need to complete our project" The white haired Nindroid explained

Of course! The library! Why didn't I think of that? Guess it could be because I've never actually been there "Ooh t-the Ninjago C-City Library! I l-l-love that p-place!" Jay almost squealed in excitement, no surprises there "Alright that sounds like a plan, to the Ninjago City Library we go!" Lloyd happily said before rushing up ahead to Chad and telling him our new destination

A very excited Jay guided us through the entire library, casually greeting every single librarian by name and occasionally geeking out about some new mechanics or science fiction book before finally leading us over to a section of the large library filled with numerous tables and chairs, plenty of other students doing the same group project we were assigned 

"W-W-Well this is uhhh w-w-where all of the ummm s-s-studying and r-reading happens" The auburn haired teen stuttered as he took a seat at one of the circular wooden tables, the rest of us joining him "So who's gonna do what?" I asked the group, Chad being on his phone paying no attention 

Lloyd took notice of Chad's little distraction and in one swift motion yanked the cheerleader's phone right out of his hand, stuffing it into his pocket "Hey! That's mine!" Chad angrily yelled at our group leader, everyone around us telling him to shush, including Jay "Another rule of being apart of this group is that everyone must contribute to the project, and that includes you" Lloyd told the cheerleader captain sternly "You will get your phone back once we have finished the project"

"Ughhh, fine, but I'm only gonna do this stupid project because your father saved us all from that giant snake" Chad groaned as he leaned back in his wooden chair, why does he keep saying that? If it weren't for us Garmadon wouldn't have been able to strike the final blow! Not to mention he used our Golden Weapons! Well, the other Ninja's Golden Weapons "Does anybody wish to work on a particular part of the project?" Zane asked "Or shall we randomise who does what?" 

"I don't really mind what I do" Lloyd told the Nindroid in the sweater vest "Same, I'm fine with whatever" I said with a casual shrug, all I care about is getting this project done as fast as possible so I don't have to put up with Chad for any longer than I have to "R-R-Randomising it ummm s-seems like t-the uhhhh fairest w-w-way to do i-it" Jay spoke up

"As long as I get the easiest part I don't care" Chad mumbled before resting his head down on the wooden desk, Zane took this as the perfect opportunity to use some of his Nindroid abilities to randomise our names in some sort of system, sounding like a slot machine as his bright blue eyes rolled like one 

A faint ding came from Zane that signified his little randomiser had finished doing its job "Alright, I have randomly assigned each one of us a part of the group project" He told us before turning his head to the casually dressed Green Ninja "Lloyd, you will be covering Captain Soto's ship" The Nindroid then focused his attention over to me "Skylor, you will be covering Captain Soto's crew" Okay that doesn't sound too bad, surely this library would have something about that 

"Chad" Zane said the name of the sleeping cheerleader, waking him from his short slumber "You will be covering Captain Soto's early life" He explained to the yawning teen, facing the fidgeting Blue Ninja afterwards "Jay, you will be covering the other pirate crews Captain Soto encountered" 

"And as for myself I will be covering Captain Soto's later life" Zane finished going over what each member of our group was going to do "S-S-Since I uhh k-know this p-place so well I will g-g-go ummm get some b-books that we'll n-n-n-need" Jay awkwardly smiled as he stood from his seat and hurried off to gather whatever books we might need for the project 

Until Jay gets back with those books I guess we have some time to chill out before working on this project, I kicked back on my chair and took my phone out, quickly texting Kai to see how his group project was coming along. Looking up from the phone screen I could see that Lloyd and Zane took this time to set up, with Zane opening his large grey backpack which for some reason always had a red bedroll attached to it, retrieving multiple pieces of paper along a few different coloured pens 

Unfortunately my texting time with Kai didn't get to last long as Jay quickly returned to our table with 5 books stacked on top of one another, he probably knows this place like the back of his scarf so I shouldn't be too surprised that he didn't take long "A-A-Alright I uhh t-think these should b-b-be all of the b-b-books that we'll n-need" Jay said to us as he placed the 5 books onto the wooden table, waking Chad up in the process 

Zane assigned me to cover Captain Soto's crew so my eyes scanned the five leather books Jay had brought us until my eyes found one titled "Captain Soto's Pirate Crew" I grabbed the tattered book and studied the cover, the title of the book being placed above an illustration of who I presume is Captain Soto being accompanied by the members of his crew 

The book didn't look to have that many pages so hopefully it won't take me too long to finish my part of the project, upon opening the book I was greeted with a contents page listing everything included in the slightly torn pages, I decided to start my research with reading about Captain Soto's First Mate

I flipped through the book until landing on page eight, the right side of the yellowed page was taken up by a drawing of a pirate wearing a white tunic covered in brown belts along with a black hat that looked just like Master Wu's, and of course an eyepatch over his left eye

Reading through some of the writing on the page I found out that his name was First Mate......I guess pirates weren't the most original when it came to names. After reading all the information about First Mate I began putting my pen to the paper Zane had graciously offered us, I started off with a description of the pirate before moving onto some details about him, such as how even though he was Captain Soto's First Mate, he was known to be pretty bad at making decisions. Once letting a blind pirate steer their ship which ended up being the end for the pirate crew 

Despite First Mate not being exactly the smartest, the book did say that he was pretty skilled with a cutlass which I made sure to write down as well, I also made sure to write down how he and Captain Soto first met. According to the book the two pirates first met when Captain Soto was just beginning his swashbuckling adventures, Soto was drinking at a tavern in Stiix when First Mate walked in and asked for some rum, the same drink the soon to be Captain was drinking 

It turned out that the tavern keeper only had enough rum for one more glass, something that First Mate and Soto began to fight over, in the end the two pirates decided to rob the tavern keeper blind. Stealing everything they could from the tavern's gold and other booze to even the seating. From that day forth Soto named First Mate his First Mate and the two of them soon gathered a mighty pirate crew, sailing the Endless Sea and becoming one of the most feared pirate crews Ninjago had ever seen 

"Pssst, hey guys," Lloyd suddenly whispered to Jay, Zane and I, making sure that Chad couldn't hear "What is it Lloyd?" Zane asked with his voice turned down to a whisper "So you know how I'm supposed to be writing about Captain Soto's ship?" The three of us nodded in response 

"Well look at this" The blonde teen once again whispered before showing us a page from the book he was reading, pointing at a two page wide illustration of the Destiny's Bounty?! "T-That looks j-j-just like t-t-the Destiny's B-Bounty! Well b-b-before it uhhh was d-d-destroyed by the umm Great D-Devourer" Jay almost shouted, our table getting a few weird looks from the other readers in the library 

What is going on? Why is there a painting of the Destiny's Bounty in a book about Captain Soto's ship? "This book says that Captain Soto and his crew sailed the Endless Sea on their ship called the Destiny's Bounty" Lloyd explained to us "But how is that possible? Master Wu told us that he got the ship from his friends over at L.E.G.O, is he lying to us?" I asked the other Ninja, once again making sure that Chad wasn't able to hear us in our little group huddle 

"This is certainly an interesting discovery, before we jump to any conclusions I suggest we just ask Master Wu about it the next time we see him, surely he would have an explanation for this" Zane told us before getting back to work on his part of the group project

Zane is right, I shouldn't start jumping to the conclusion that Master Wu lied to us, surely he would never do that right? Argh I should really forget about this little discovery and just get back to work, I think I've written enough about First Mate so why don't I move onto the next member of Soto's crew 

Turning the page from the First Mate section I was once again greeted with an illustration on the right side of the page but this time of a pirate with a grey beard wearing a torn brown vest over a white striped shirt, a red bandana covered most of his grey hair and the pirate's left leg was replaced with a wooden peg leg, the most striking feature of this pirate however was that he didn't just have one eyepatch but had two. A red parrot was also present on his shoulder 

I'm assuming that this pirate is the same pirate that was mentioned in First Mate's section and after reading through some information about him I was proven correct, even if this pirate led to the demise of Soto and his crew at least he had a better name than First Mate, having the appropriate name of No-Eyed Pete 

No-Eyed Pete was the first pirate recruited by Soto and First Mate, he was born blind and was detested by both of his parents because of this, being seen as a failure before he could even talk or walk. It didn't take long for No-Eyed Pete to be abandoned by his parents, being placed in a small wooden raft and drifted away into the Endless Sea, eventually reaching Stiix where he would grow up as a homeless scoundrel 

Sometime during his life in Stiix the blind man would end up being captured by a shady businessman and turned into an attraction at a newly opened freak show, it was at this freak show that No-Eyed Pete would cross paths with a parrot that could speak. The two of them were placed in the same cell and over time the parrot taught the future pirate how to speak, often describing how beautiful the open seas looked, making the blind man yearn to experience the beauty the parrot described to him 

At some point the two of them managed to escape the freak show and with the red parrot guiding No-Eyed Pete they boarded the first ship they could, attempting to set sail for the open sea and experience freedom, upon trying to steal the ship they were caught by the rightful owners of the vessel, Captain Soto and First Mate 

Captain Soto gave the two a choice, either they could walk the plank and be eaten by whatever lies beneath Stiix or join Soto's new pirate crew. It was a no brainer for the blind man and guide parrot as they quickly agreed to the second option, becoming official members of the Destiny's Bounty crew 

*DING*

Huh? What was that? I looked up from my writing to see Zane standing up from his seat, the Nindroid's once bright blue eyes replaced with exclamation points, thankfully Chad seemed to be too busy actually doing his work to notice "Please excuse us Chad. Skylor, Lloyd, Jay and I have a private matter to discuss" Zane said to the cheerleader as he pushed us all away from our table and into a small group huddle behind a secluded bookshelf, Chad not caring at all and only muttering "Whatever"

"What's going on Zane? I was kind of in the middle of something" I somewhat scolded the Nindroid from pulling me away from my work, I'm actually kind of enjoying it a little "My apologises Skylor, but I have received an urgent message from my Falcon" Zane explained to the three of us 

"Hehe, I uhh k-kind of umm f-f-forgot you had a F-Falcon" Jay sheepishly chuckled "That is probably due to the fact that some time ago I sent it on a mission to survey the city, keeping its Falcon eyes open for criminal activity" The Nindroid told Jay "So that's what that ding sound was, your Falcon spotted some criminal activity?" Lloyd asked Zane, looking eager to jump into action 

Zane nodded his head "You are correct, tapping into my recently installed Falcon Vision I can see that a nearby bank is being robbed by a group of hoodlums" 

"Sounds like a job for the Ninja!" Lloyd excitedly cheered, being told to shush by multiple people, including Jay "Everyone got their gi with them?" He asked us, pulling down his green jacket just enough to give us a glimpse at his black and green suit "Never leave the house without it" I smirked as I did the same, lifting my grey shirt to give a peak at my orange suit underneath 

"I too have my gi with me" Zane confirmed, pulling his blue sweater vest up and showing a little bit of his white suit, we all then turned to look at Jay who seemed unusually nervous, well slightly more than usual "Ummmm I-I-I uhhh I d-d-don't have my ummm s-suit with me" He looked down at the carpeted floor while rubbing his left arm nervously 

Damn it Jay! Rule number one about being a Ninja is having your gi on you at all times! "What do you mean you don't have it on you?! You need to be wearing it at all times in case something like this happens!" Lloyd berated the casually dressed teen who finally looked up from the floor 

"Ah I'm s-s-sorry! I j-just thought that a-a-after defeating the ummm G-Great D-Devourer we could take a b-b-break" Jay stuttered whilst fidgeting with his hands, not daring to look Lloyd in his stern green eyes "Actually this may be a good thing" Zane suddenly said, guess he could be right, we wouldn't have to deal with Jay's clumsiness or cowardliness during the fight 

"Jay can stay here and watch over Chad, making sure that he gets his part of the project finished and does not find out about our secret identities" Zane told us, I like my reason better but his kind of works too "B-B-but how am I s-s-supposed to d-do that? He's n-not going to l-l-listen to me" The scarf wearing teen worriedly asked 

Lloyd reached into his pocket and pulled out Chad's phone "Here, just give him his phone to distract him, but make sure he doesn't start getting suspicious of us leaving" He gave Jay his orders before handing him Chad's phone "G-Got it" Jay nodded and quietly walked back to the table, leaving Lloyd, Zane and I to quickly leave the library and Spinjitzu into our Ninja gi 

The three of us now kitted out in our Ninja attire swiftly wall jumped our way up to the city rooftops and our feet began to dart across the numerous black tiles, leaping across the different buildings in a flash of green, white and orange, no banks are gonna be robbed on our watch! 

As we continued to make our way across the bustling city, putting our Ninja skills to the test, I wondered if the others were going to join us. Surely a few low level thugs won't be a problem for just the three of us but I wouldn't mind getting to kick some butt with the rest of the team, they're probably too busy with their group project to join us anyways  

My thoughts were soon answered by a flash of grey, jade and black coming down from a nearby tower and joining us in running across the city's various buildings  "Oh hey, didn't think we would run into you three" Cole chuckled from under his black mask, looks like they'll be joining us after all 

"Um wait a minute, where's Jay? Shouldn't he be with you three?" Nya asked Lloyd, Zane and I,  all the while she avoided running face first into a wooden water tower "Let me guess, Jay was too much of a wuss to join us" Harumi laughed, getting a slight glare from Nya 

"No no it isn't anything like that, he just didn't have his suit with him" Lloyd told the other three Ninja as he slid under a billboard "He's staying back at the library to keep Chad from finding out we ditched the group project to stop this robbery" He finished explaining Jay's whereabouts to the others   

"So what about you guys? How did you manage to sneak away from Seliel?" I asked Nya, Harumi and Cole "Well it certainly wasn't the greatest excuse" The Jade Ninja admitted, scratching the back of her head "We told her that since Kai and I were low on food we wouldn't have enough energy to finish the project, right now she thinks the three of us have gone grocery shopping" Nya told us with a slight chuckle 

I guess after dealing with this robbery we're gonna have to make a quick stop at the closest grocery store so Seliel doesn't get suspicious "Ugh, I have got to be the worst boyfriend in the history of boyfriends" Cole groaned "Seliel and I finally get to spend some time together after not seeing each other in forever and I immediately ditch her" 

"Cheer up Cole, I am sure that you will be able to make it up to her" Zane said to the Earth Ninja vaulting over a set of pipes "I sure hope you're right Zane" Cole sighed 

After all of our awesome parkour skills the six of us finally reached the scene of the crime, we dropped down to a building just across from the bank to meet up with Zane's Falcon who happily chirped upon seeing the Nindroid "Thank you for alerting us of this crime my friend" The Ice Ninja thanked the robot bird now perched on his right arm, Zane pressed some kind of panel on the Falcon and it gave another chirp before taking to the sky and flying away 

"Where is it going?" Harumi asked Zane "I have sent it back to the warehouse, I believe it deserves a rest after patrolling the city for so long" He informed the Jade Ninja "Alright then is everyone ready?" Lloyd stepped forward and asked us, we all gave him a nod in response 

"NINJA-GO!" All six of us shouted as we jumped down from the black rooftop and landed in formation right across from the group of thugs throwing bags full of cash into their red car "Aw crap, it's the Ninja!" One of them shouted, alerting the rest of the gang to our arrival 

The thieves wasted no time in arming themselves with crowbars and whatever else they had in their pockets or stored away in their escape vehicle before charging right for us, a pretty stupid idea if you ask me. Lloyd shot ahead of us while drawing his silver sword, clashing it with who looked to be the leader of the group's crowbar, he easily overpowered the thug and kicked him right through the bank's shattered window 

I retrieved my bow from my back and quickly began to fire some non lethal arrows at any member of the gang I could see, making sure to also shoot at the wheels of their escape vehicle to make sure none of them were gonna try get away. One of the mask wearing thieves ran towards me, using the metal lid of a trash can to block my arrows, looks they aren't that stupid after all. I stopped wasting my arrows and ran towards him, he threw the trash can lid at me but I easily rolled underneath it and delivered a powerful blow to his legs with my bow, sending the thug crashing to the ground calling for his mommy 

Looking to my right I saw Harumi unsheathe her two sai and use the two silver weapons to block a crowbar coming her way, she then used her sai to unarm the unlucky thug who attacked her before grabbing onto their jacket and throwing the poor thief face first into a lamppost, he's definitely gonna be feeling that one when he wakes up in prison 

"I don't need a trident to wash these guys out!" Nya shouted from behind me as she kicked a fire hydrant right into the air, a large burst of water erupted from the city street and crashed right into three of the thugs, sending them hurtling towards Cole "And I don't need no scythe to rock!" He said before spinning into his black Spinjitzu and once again sending the three goons hurtling through the air, the three of them eventually landing in a pile of garbage bags 

"One liner about not needing shurikens to kick butt!" Zane's robotic voice shouted as the Nindroid punched a goon into another before rotating his entire body to do the same to one trying to sneak up on him

Looking around the area that seemed to be all of the thugs dealt with, Lloyd carefully stepped through the shattered window of the bank while holding the supposed leader by the collar of his dark blue jacket "Well that was pretty easy" He commented, dropping the leader beside the rest of the goons Cole had gathered in a small pile 

Just then we could all hear the loud sound of multiple police sirens coming from down the road, the six of us backed up as cars and tuk tuks belonging to the Ninjago City Police pulled up to the crime scene, police officers jumped out of their vehicles and quickly cuffed all of the knocked out thugs before throwing them into the back of their vehicles 

I heard a sudden gasp come from Harumi as she swiftly turned to face away from the police officers "Harumi? Why did you just gasp and turn away from the Ninjago City Police as if you were hiding something?" Zane questioned the Jade Ninja attempting to hide behind the Nindroid "My father is here!" She whispered, pointing at a grey bearded man with an eyepatch dressed in a Police Commissioner uniform walking towards us 

"Greetings, what an honour it is to meet you Ninja, especially on my first day as the new Police Commissioner" Harumi's father said to us cheerfully, extending his hand out to Lloyd for a handshake who was a little stunned at first but eventually shook the man's hand "Well it's uh an honour to meet you too sir" Lloyd nervously spoke to Harumi's father 

"Oh please, after everything you Ninja have done for this city you can all call me Hutchins" He told us, suddenly looking at the six of us strangely with Harumi trying to stay out of her father's sight "Isn't there supposed to be a Red and Blue Ninja too?" Hutchins asked Lloyd whilst scratching the side of his head "The Red Ninja was injured during our battle against the Great Devourer and the Blue Ninja is uhhh watching over our secret base! Yes! That's it!" The blonde Ninja lied to Hutchins who seemed to have bought it 

"I'm not sure if you knew the last Commissioner but I plan to make sure that we work very closely together, you'll have the support of the entire Ninjago City Police" Harumi's father told us before handing Lloyd a small card "If you ever need me you can use the number written down on that card, I look forward to working with you all" 

Lloyd quickly stashed the card in his green belt before responding "Thank you, it sure does mean a lot, and we're all looking forward to working you as well" He said to the new Police Commissioner who once again extended his hand for a handshake which Lloyd happily accepted "Well I better get going, thanks again for stopping these guys" Hutchins thanked us, tipping his black hat before walking back over to the other officers, getting into his tuk tuk and driving off 

"Do you think he noticed it was me?" Harumi whispered, peeking out from behind Zane "There's no way he could have with you hiding behind Zane the entire time, not making a single sound" I spoke to the white haired Ninja "I never thought my first time properly meeting your father would be as the Green Ninja" Lloyd said to Harumi with a chuckle 

"Ok we all better start heading back to our group projects now, we don't want Chad or Seliel to grow suspicious" Nya reminded us "And Cole, Harumi and I need to make a quick stop at a grocery store" She added on before the three of them swiftly left the scene, Harumi and Lloyd sharing a quick hug before she joined Nya and Cole in searching for the nearest grocery store 

We changed back into our casual attires and after getting somewhat lost in the library without our guide Jay, the three us found the freckled teen sitting quietly at the round wooden table, without any sign of Chad? Oh great don't tell me Jay panicked and told Chad everything! 

"Uh Jay, where is Chad?" Lloyd asked the auburn haired Ninja "Oh w-well umm C-Chad actually uhh g-g-got his work finished s-s-so I umm l-let him g-go home" He told us as the three of us sat down "And you didn't give anything away did you?" I asked him with an intimating look on my  face

"N-No! Of course n-not!" Jay quickly replied to me, nervously tugging on his scarf "Wow, Chad actually got his work done, colour me impressed" Lloyd laughed as he returned to his own work, Zane doing the same with me following suit 

Since Jay was also done with his part of the project he went and grabbed a few books to read until the rest of us had finished which didn't really take that long as my body felt like it still had some adrenaline left from the bank robbery we busted, making me write three times as fast

Once Lloyd, Zane and I had finished our parts of the project Lloyd sent a text to our Secret Ninja Force group chat to tell the others we were going to be meeting back up at the warehouse, with the four of us beginning to make our way there shortly after 

I really wanted to get this chapter up for the 5 year anniversary of the Ninjago Movie during September but I also really didn't want to rush it so here it is coming out on the European 5 year anniversary of the movie instead! That's when it came out for me so I guess it all worked out in the end...............hopefully

Welp, obligatory three questions time. What is rule number two about being a Ninja? Is Wu lying to the Ninja about the Destiny's Bounty? And will this book return to a consistent upload schedule?! This time the next Ninja Life chapter will actually answer one of the three questions
