(Nya's POV)

Thank the first spinjtzu master it's the weekend! No school to deal with so me and the guys were planning to just have a day out in the city, I was pretty excited to spend sometime with them without having to be battling Garmadon. Right now I'm just chilling on the couch waiting for everyone to show up so we can be on our way, and for Kai to get up. I continued to scroll away on my phone until I heard the door bell ring, I got up from the couch and opened the door to see the guys waiting

"Hello Nya" Zane said as I let them all in

"Welcome to me and Kai's place guys" I said as I closed the door behind them

"I don't mean to be rude but it's kind of small" Cole said as he looked around

"Yeah well ever since our uh parents.....left we haven't been able to really get a new place" I said sadly

"Oh Nya I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad" Cole said worried

"It's fine Cole, don't worry about it" I said forcing a smile onto my face, just then I heard Kai walk down the stairs

"Well look who's finally awake" I said to Kai making him fake laugh

"W-Wow Kai, you're j-just getting u-up now?" Jay said

"Well it's the weekend I thought I could sleep in" Kai said as he made himself some breakfast

"You better get ready, we're going to the city today remember?" I said to Kai

"Yeah yeah I remember, just give me some time okay" Kai said lazily

"Ugh fine, we'll just watch some TV" I said as I brought everyone to the living room and sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. After a few minutes of commercials something interesting popped on

"Tune in to the Gayle Gossip Gossip Show to see an exclusive interview with all 6 of the secret ninja force members! Unfortunately we couldn't get their phone number so we just hope they see this and show up!"

"WHAT?!" I hear Jay shout and fall off the couch

"We're going to be on Gayle Gossip's Gossip Show?!" Lloyd said in total shock

"It would seem so Lloyd" Zane said

"So do we like show up in our suits or what? Put on a nice suit but keep our masks on?" Cole asked

"Eh I'll just show up in my suit" Kai said as he joined us at the TV

"Oh g-god I don't t-think I can b-be on TV! I'll b-b-be a nervous w-wreck!" Jay said as he paced back and forth

"And you aren't already a nervous wreck" Cole laughed but was silenced by me sending a death glare at him

"Relax Jay, no one will even see your face" Kai said trying to calm down Jay

"I c-can't handle the a-a-amount of people who'll b-be watching me!" Jay said as he began to breathe heavily

"Jay it'll be fine, we'll be here for you" I say smiling at the stressed boy

"I-I can't go t-to the city today g-guys I'm sorry" Jay said

"What?! Why!?" Cole said

"I have t-t-to think about t-this" Jay said as he left the house in a hurry

"Poor guy" I said hoping that Jay would be fine

"Are we still going to go to the city today?" Lloyd asked

"It wouldn't be the same without Jay, we'll do it another day" I sighed

"Well see you guys tonight then" Cole said as he Zane and Lloyd left the house

I dropped down from a nearby rooftop and landed right in front of the back entrance of Gayle Gossip Gossip Show with Kai dropping down after me, we both entered the building to be met with a nice backstage area. There were some couches and a table with some food for us, we saw Cole, Lloyd and Zane sitting on the couches. We walked over to them and joined them

"So no Jay huh?" Kai asked the others who all shook their heads

"Eh we can do this without him" Cole said as he enjoyed the free food

"You guys will be on in about 2 minutes!" We hear from one of the crew members as they set everything up, just then we heard the doors open. We all turned around and saw Jay walking in wearing his orange scarf!

"H-hey guys, s-sorry I'm l-l-late" Jay stuttered

"Jay?!" I said surprised he showed up

"Haha yeah it's m-me, I Uh d-decided to s-s-show up, I didn't think it w-was fair for y-y-you guys to go on w-without me" Jay said as he rubbed his right arm shyly

"What's up with the scarf?" Kai asked Jay

"Well uh it's k-k-kind of like a um c-comfort item, to um m-make sure I d-don't freakout" Jay stuttered nervously

"Alright secret ninja force you're up!" The staff member said pushing us onto stage

"And now for the moment you've all been waiting for!" Gayle Gossip said enthusiastically

"Please welcome the secret ninja force!" Gayle Gossip continued as she pointed towards the stage entrance where we all walked onto. I looked at the crowd and it was massive! So many people were cheering and clapping and taking photos, the flashes were blinding. There were cameras all over the place recording the show for non attendees at home, we all sat down on the black couch for guests. Lloyd sat at the top of the couch with Kai, Cole and Zane beside him, me and Jay sat down at the end of the couch with Jay being the one at the very end

"So how are our favourite Garmadon stoppers doing?" Gayle asked us all

"Uh well we're doing great! Thanks so much for um inviting us onto the show" Lloyd said to Gayle

"Well I'm thankful you guys showed up, we of course didn't have your phone number so we were just hoping that you'd show up!" Gayle said

"Of course we'd show up for you" Kai said as he winked at Gayle, he was always the ladies man

"I see we have quiet the ladies man on the team, now tell me, are any of the ninja taken?" Gayle said making the audience all say "ooooooo"

"Like we're ever going to tell" Cole said jokingly

"Is there any chance we'll be getting an exclusive unmasking tonight?" Gayle said making the audience "ooooooo" once more

"Not a chance!" Kai said making Gayle laugh

"So I heard there was a girl on the team?" Gayle said making me look up

"That would be me" I said raising my hand

"So what's it like being the only girl on the team water ninja?" Gayle asked me

"It's fine, it'd be great to have another girl on the team but I love these guys" I said smiling under my mask

"You love them huh? Any of these ninja you really love?" Gayle asked me as the audience went "ooooooo" once again making me blush heavily under my mask

"Now that's private!" I said making Gayle laugh

"So who's the orange scarf wearer down at the end huh?" Gayle asked as she looked at Jay. Jay kind of just sat there for a few seconds until he managed to find his voice

"I um I-I-I am t-the um uh l-l-lightning n-ninja" Jay said sweating

"Are those some freckles I see under that mask?" Gayle said as she squinted to look at Jay's face

"Haha y-y-yeah" Jay said as he blushed under his mask

"Didn't know we had quite the cutie on the team" Gayle said causing Jay to blush even harder and cover his face with his scarf embarrassed

The show went on with Gayle asking us a lot of questions, most of them were personal in which we quickly shot down. Kai, Lloyd and Cole were the main ones we were answering the questions which I wasn't surprised at, Zane would chirp in occasionally to correct a fact or something like that. I kind of just sat beside Jay and made sure he was okay occasionally, I would rub his back if he began to breathe heavily and I would squeeze his hand to calm him down. Jay wouldn't speak at all unless he was asked a question or I asked him if he was doing okay. Once the show ended Gayle thanked us for coming on and we went backstage and received a free Gayle Gossip Gossip Show t-shirt. We opened the doors and walked out of the back of the building

"Hey that wasn't so bad was it Jay?" Kai said as he began climbing up the side of a building

"Y-yeah, I um g-g-guess it was fine" Jay said

"Alright well we'll see you guys later, come on Nya!" Kai said to me helping me up onto the roof of a building

"Cya guys later!" I said to the guys who all waved goodbye

"Bye Jay" I said waving goodbye to him

"Oh uh b-bye N-Nya" Jay said as he waved goodbye, me and Kai then ran across several rooftops and made our way back to our home
