(Nobody's POV)

The Sea of Sand was filled with the sounds of engines roaring as the Serpentine's vehicles raced across the sand, with Rattlecopters flying above. The Serpentine were victorious in finding the first Fang Blade and were now on their way to the Lost City of Ouroboros

After driving through the hot desert for what felt like hours the Serpentine finally reached the point on the map where the City of Ouroboros should be, the Rattlecopters landed down onto the sand allowing for Lord Garmadon, Pythor and the Serpentine Generals look around for the lost city 

"Thisssss map is completely usssselessss!" Skales shouted in frustration as the City of Ouroboros was nowhere to be seen 

"Be patient Skales" Pythor told Skales as he slithered around handing out shovels to the Serpentine "We will just have to find it first"

"How could you Serpentine even lose a city?!" Lord Garmadon asked Pythor and the Serpentine Generals as he lazily threw himself onto his portable beach chair 

"We didn't!" Acidicus spat at Lord Garmadon "Shortly after the SSSSSerpentine War a large ssssandssssstorm buried the city making it lossssst"

"SSSSSSSo we're jusssst going to dig up the entire SSSSSSea of SSSSand until we uncover it all?!" Skalidor asked Pythor frustrated 

"Oh heavens no" Pythor replied to Skalidor "Somewhere buried under all this sand there should be some sort of mechanism to free the city of it's sand tomb"

"It will take usssss forever to find thissss mechanissssm you ssspeak of!" Fangtom groaned as he slammed his reclaimed staff into the sand, once the staff made contact with the grainy terrain a metallic clang filled the ears of everyone nearby

Pythor smirked and slithered over to Fangtom, his scaly hand brushed away some of the sand revealing an ancient Serpentine mechanism buried into the ground

"You were saying?" Pythor grinned at Fangtom

Pythor's scaly hand grabbed onto the mechanism and twisted it, the mechanism made a clicking noise as the sand around them began to sink into the ground. All around them Serpentine architecture began to rise up from the sand, revealing the Lost City of Ouroboros

"It'ssssss magnificent!" Skales admired the city as it was fully raised from the sand 

"You Serpentine sure love your own faces" Lord Garmadon commented as he looked around the city, noticing all the Serpentine heads on the buildings and walls 

"There it issss!" Acidicus pointed at a large Serpentine monument, Pythor slithered towards it and wickedly smiled 

"This is it! The Great Devourer's statue!" Pythor told the other Serpentine Generals and Lord Garmadon "The Great Devourer is sealed within it!"

Pythor crawled his way up the statue and stopped at the mouth, placing the Fang Blade they had secured into one of the four teeth of the statue   

"Only three more to go until Ninjago suffers from our wrath!" Pythor exclaimed to the other Serpentine who all cheered him on 

Pythor took in the cheers and looked down on all the Serpentine with pride, soon everything he has ever desired would be his

(Skylor's POV)

Yesterday sure was eventful, Jay doesn't seem to be showing any signs of side effects so it looks like the Secret Ninja Force is back to having it's eight members, and with the Serpentine having one out of the four Fang Blades we're gonna need all hands on deck! 

Right now it's pretty early in the morning so I should probably be more focused on getting ready for school, quickly grabbing a slice of toast and putting in my mouth I began throwing all the stuff I needed for the day into my orange backpack, along with my Ninja suit, I never leave home without it!

Saying a quick goodbye to my family I hurried out of the door ready to start the day, and as I was walking down the busy streets of Ninjago City I spotted two very familiar siblings

"Hey you two!" I greeted the siblings as I caught up to them, they both turned around and smiled once they saw me 

"Hey there Skylor" Nya smiled at me as Kai quickly placed a kiss on my cheek

"So you walking with us today?" Kai asked as he linked our hands together, I nodded happily and the three of us continued our walk to the school peacefully 

It wasn't long until we were joined by Lloyd too, he waved at us from across the street and joined us on our walk to Ninjago High. Whilst we were all walking we began talking about the events of yesterday, and me being me took every opportunity to tease Nya about her interest in Jay, making her incredibly red. How Jay doesn't notice it we'll never know, and how Nya doesn't notice Jay's interest towards her we will also never know. Those two nerds are so oblivious 

Kai, Nya, Lloyd and I walked in the doors of Ninjago High and made our way to our lockers to sort our stuff out, once we arrived at the lockers we found Cole and Seliel enjoying each other's company, all while Zane just stood there and smiled 

"Morning you two lovebirds" Lloyd chuckled as he opened up his locker

"You're the exact same when Harumi is around Lloyd" Seliel commented as she and Cole held hands tightly 

"Speaking of Harumi" Zane said as he looked towards the hallway, we all turned to see Harumi walking down the hallway with a smile on her face

"Hey guys" Harumi waved to us as she joined us at our lockers

"Looks like we're only missing Jay now" Lloyd said as Harumi wrapped herself around him and pecked him on the lips 

"Speaking of the devil" Kai chuckled as Jay clumsily stumbled in the doors as he was still tying his shoes

"Wake up late huh?" Cole asked Jay who nodded as he finished tying his shoes, Nya immediately sprung forward to examine Jay 

"Okay your face looks pretty normal, your eyes aren't reptilian and you don't seem to have a tail" Nya quickly said as she held Jay's face in her hands, looking at him all over to make sure he wasn't bitten again, worrying like some sort of overprotective girlfriend "You don't seem to have any fangs and your tongue doesn't look forked so I would say you truly are back to normal"

"T-Thanks for the e-e-examination N-Nya" Jay awkwardly chuckled as he took Nya's hands off his face 

The school bell soon rang and all of us went on our ways to our first classes of the day. Luckily for me Kai was in my first class so we wouldn't have to be separated, so we walked down the hallway hand in hand until arriving at the door of the class and entering, we took our seats and the school day began 

"Did you guys see what happened to the Blue Ninja?" Seliel asked us all as she sat down at our lunch table, lunch tray in hand "It was all over the news!"

"Uhhh r-r-really?" Jay asked Seliel, looking a bit embarrassed 

"Yep! Gayle Gossip made an entire hour long podcast episode about it!" Seliel answered as she started eating her lunch "She talked about how the Blue Ninja was a Serpentine among us this entire time!" 

Jay sunk into his seat whilst covering his face with his orange scarf, ashamed of what he had done whilst under the Serpentine transformation 

"That Gayle Gossip doesn't know what she's talking about, she just makes this stuff up for the attention" Nya said trying to comfort Jay 

"This whole Serpentine situation is really making me question if the Ninja are to be trusted" Seliel told us as she munched on her lunch 

"I'm sure it was just a one time occurrence" Cole said to Seliel as he enjoyed a slice of his favourite cake 

"Yeah! Those Ninja are only here to help" Harumi spoke to Seliel 

"I guess you're right, but we'll see if these masked vigilantes step out of line soon" Seliel mumbled slightly, something tells me she isn't the biggest fan of us anymore 

The rest of lunch went by pretty quickly and soon we were heading off the our last classes of the day, which would hopefully also go by pretty quickly 

Thankfully the last classes of the day did go by pretty quickly, once the final class ended the hallways of Ninjago High were flooded with students trying to get home as quick as they could. Stepping out of the doors with the others we said our usual goodbyes to Seliel and headed down to the Warehouse like always

Whilst we were walking down to the Warehouse we talked about Seliel's new opinion about our Ninja selves, we all agreed that she would eventually go back to trusting us fully, or at least we hope she would. I shook those thoughts out of my head as we entered the large doors of the Warehouse 

"It is great to see none of you have been bitten today" Sensei greeted us as we all walked into the Warehouse 

"So what are we doing today Sensei?" Kai asked Sensei as he grabbed a drink in the kitchen area

"Today there shall be no training" Sensei began to tell us "After yesterday's events I think it is a good idea to rest up, to make sure you all are ready to secure the next Fang Blade before the Serpentine"

"Alright!" Cole cheered as he fist pumped the air, quickly jumping onto the couch beside Zane to play some video game 

"Whilst I was repairing Jay's suit I decided it was about time you two got your own" Sensei turned to Harumi and I 

"Really?!" I asked excitedly, it's about time! 

"If the two of you are to be official members of the Secret Ninja Force proper Ninja gi will be needed" Sensei smiled at the both of us 

He walked away for a moment and returned with two suits in hand, Sensei handed me an orange suit whilst he handed Harumi a jade coloured suit. We both spun into our Spinjitzu tornadoes and once we stopped spinning we were now outfitted in our brand new Secret Ninja Force gi 

I looked down and admired my new gi, it was way better than the crummy one I made! The gi's main colour was orange with red details all over, it had some nice red sleeves and a red belt across the torso. On one of the legs there was a holder with some daggers, which would definitely come in handy for future battles. Across the gi there was a large brown strap with some sort of symbol on it, along with the brown strap there was also a brown shoulder pad for some extra protection. Flipping on the Ninja mask I could see it was fully orange, unlike the other's black and whatever their primary colour was

Looking over at Harumi I could see her mask was also void of any black, completely coloured jade with a white band around the top. Harumi's gi also consisted of a brown shoulder pad, Sensei told us it was because we were the less experienced members of the team. Harumi's gi had more of a robe design, looking a lot more like a princess attire with a Ninja mask and armour slapped onto it, the gi certainly looked good alongside Lloyd's 

"Wow Sensei you did an incredible job with these new gi!" I thanked Sensei for the new attire 

"That is not the only surprise for today" Sensei Wu chuckled as he made his way out of the Warehouse, we all looked at him puzzled but we followed him out regardless 

Sensei led us out to the docks and shifted our attention to a brand new ship! How did we not see this before!? 

"Every Ninja team needs a Destiny's Bounty" Sensei smiled at us "My friends over at L.E.G.O heard about our last one crashing so they got to work making a new one"

"Well they did a fantastic job!" Lloyd said as he gazed at the new Destiny's Bounty 

Harumi and I weren't apart of the team when the Destiny's Bounty was still intact so we only ever got to see photos of it, this new one looks a bit smaller but just as good! The two dragon heads were no more and instead replaced with one single red dragon head, the ship no longer sported three sets of sails and now only had one. The sails also no longer sported a dragon design, instead having some red lines across the sails 

"I can't wait to make this thing fly!" Jay and Nya both spoke out at the same time, they looked at each other for a moment and looked away looking a bit red. Those two nerds are perfect for each other 

While we were all gushing over the new Destiny's Bounty Cole walked off and was busy talking to somebody on his phone, and when he came back over to us he looked a bit shocked 

"Uh Cole? You ok buddy?" Kai asked Cole

"My......My..." Cole struggled to say "My dad is coming back"
