"I don't remember this place being so hot, that damn flying ship really had us spoilt" Lord Garmadon muttered as he took a sip from his glass, trying to cool himself down with a nice mini umbrella decorated drink as he relaxed in his volcano lair. After the Ninja reclaimed their ship from Garmadon the four armed warlord and his Serpentine minions were forced to return to Garmadon's volcanic lair, their only other choice being a ruined City of Ouroboros with a giant Great Devourer sized hole in the middle 

"Fan me faster snake!" The sweating warlord commanded the poor Venomari that was tasked with cooling the four armed maniac down, the green serpent being extremely jealous of Garmadon's drink he was enjoying. The four Serpentine generals looked at Garmadon with disdain, despising the way he was treating their kind, turning them into nothing but servants for his own desires

Out of the four generals Skales was the one who hated Garmadon the most, after Pythor was eaten by the Devourer he believed he was the next one fit to command all tribes of the Serpentine, and then came Garmadon who took that power away from him, only to end up mistreating the Serpentine. Skales angrily hissed as he continued to watch the four armed warlord enjoy his drink as a Constrictai was forced to feed him grapes "Look at him, ussssing our kind for sssssuch idiotic reassssonssss, we are meant to be warriorssssss not ssservantssss!" The Hypnobrai general voiced his frustration to the other Serpentine generals as they huddled together in the meeting room of Garmadon's volcano lair 

"We hate it assss much assss you do SSSSKalessss but there issss nothing we can do about it" Skalidor spoke to Skales, clutching his golden Serpentine staff in anger "He wasssss the one to releasssse ussss from thosssse tombssss" Fangtom's left head joined the conversation "If we are to quesssstion him he would not hessssitate to throw ussss back into thosssse awful tombssss" The right head of Fangtom continued, giving Garmadon a dirty look 

"Don't you ssssee? With thossssse Ninja taking away hisssss fancy Mega Weapon he would be powerlessss to sssstop usssss if all the SSSSerpentine were to turn againsssst him!" Skales informed the other generals who all listened intently "SSSSkalessss makesssss a valid point, if we were to attack Garmadon at thisssss moment with our kind behind ussss, we could rid oursssselvessss of that idiotssss control" Acidicus agreed with what Skales had to say 

A devious smirk formed on Skales' scaly face as he saw the other Serpentine generals seeming interested in his idea "And with Garmadon out of the way we can finally have another SSSSSerpentine take control! A possssition that I believe I am besssst fit for" Skales brought up to the generals "I wassss Pythor'ssss ssssecond in command and sssso after hissss defeat it should be me who becomesss the new SSSSerpentine leader" The Hypnobrai general continued, the three other generals going along with his plan 

"Then I ssssay we attack Garmadon now! Assss he takesss thissss time to enjoy a drink we attack him! Our combined ssssstrength should be no match for him!" Skalidor told the generals, gesturing over to the laying down Garmadon still sipping on his drink. The four Serpentine generals looked at each other, each of them giving a nod of agreement 

With a plan in their minds the Serpentine generals slowly slithered across the meeting room of the piping hot volcano lair, readying themselves to get rid of Garmadon for good, clutching their golden staffs tightly as they thought of the best way to take out the four armed warlord. Skales led the Serpentine generals over to Lord Garmadon, the four of them stopping right in front of their enemy "I'm sssorry to ruin your relaxation Garmadon, but I believe your rul-

Skales didn't even have a chance to finish before Lord Garmadon rose from his lounge chair and abruptly cut him off "Apology accepted Skales, now that I'm fully rested it's time to get back to work" Garmadon spoke as he handed his drink to Skales, the Hypnobrai general looking appalled, tossing the drink away as he and the other generals followed Garmadon 

"Now originally my next plan would have involved the Mega Weapon being used to travel through time but frankly that idea was much too convoluted and I doubt your Serpentine brains could have handled it" Lord Garmadon belittled the Serpentine generals which only increased their desire to get rid of the four armed menace "But now I have a new plan, a better and more evil plan, all thanks to this" Garmadon began to tell the generals surrounding him, grabbing a book from a desk and showing it to uninterested snakes

"Don't tell me you intend to bore the Ninja to death with your diary" Skales snapped at Garmadon, unimpressed with the small book shoved in his face "Oh this isn't just any old diary my dear Skales, before we lost that flying ship to those backstabbing pirates I grabbed this book from the ship, this diary belonging to that awful peg legged Captain Soto" Lord Garmadon informed the Serpentine generals, browsing through the pages of the journal as he spoke 

"And how exactly isssss thisss one book going to help usssss?" Fangtom's left head asked curiously "I'm glad that one of your heads asked Fangtom, within the pages of this journal Captain Soto speaks of a fabled place created out of evil itself, an island that those dirty pirates were trying to find, the Dark Island" Garmadon explained to the four Serpentine in front of him with a devilish grin

The interest of the Serpentine generals was piqued, all but one "I have never heard of thisss Dark Island, who'sssss to ssssay that thissss island even exissstsss, you could have ussss running after a fairy tale!" Skales angrily said to Garmadon, slamming the bottom of his golden staff onto the ground "This Dark Island is not a fairy tale Skales!" Lord Garmadon yelled back at Skales, towering over the Hypnobrai general "I know that it exists out there somewhere! My father told my stupid brother and I stories about it, it is sure to be full of untold power! Dripping with concentrated dark powers!" Garmadon eagerly spoke

"Well that doesss ssssound interessssting" Acidicus said with interest in what Garmadon was saying, something that angered Skales "Then it's settled! Using Captain Soto's journal we shall set out on a journey to find the Dark Island!" Lord Garmadon announced to the room, Skales becoming even more enraged "You there! Ready a Rattlecopter for our epic adventure!" Garmadon pointed at a nervous Fangpyre who quickly did as he was told 

"How long will thissss journey take ussss?" Skalidor asked his four armed leader, Skales looking at the two with anger in his hypnotic eyes "I have absolutely no idea, this journey could last months so I suggest you snakes do what I'm about to do and get packing!" Garmadon told the four generals as he left the meeting room with a cackle, leaving behind a very frustrated Skales who's patience had just about ran out 

Kai had gone through plenty of boring days, but today was no doubt the most boring one of them all "I can't believe I'm saying this but I would prefer a normal school day over this boring field trip!" The spiky haired teen groaned loudly as he, the Ninja and many other students were dragged through the Ninjago City museum by Mr Saunders, hoping to educate the kids with a history themed field trip "Oh come on bro, it's not that bad, it sure beats being in that cluttered classroom" Nya nudged Kai as she walked beside her older brother, being one of the Ninja actually enjoying the trip

"Ugh whatever, you're like a total nerd so of course you're enjoying this trip" Kai spoke back to his sister who playfully punched the Red Ninja "I must agree with Nya on this matter, I am finding this field trip to the museum quite enjoyable, the history of Ninjago is very interesting" Zane's robotic voice chimed in as Mr Saunders led his students further into the museum building, walking past several priceless artefacts and paintings 

"I agree with Zane and Nya, this place is actually pretty interesting" Lloyd began to speak, admiring the fancy architecture of the place "But I also wouldn't have said no to a field trip to Mega Monster Amusement Park" The blonde teen added with a chuckle, walking hand in hand with Harumi who shared the same opinion "I fail to see the educational value that a field trip to Mega Monster Amusement Park would offer" Zane brought up to Lloyd 

Cole slung an arm around the Nindroid's neck, removing his headphones to speak to the White Ninja "Because there would be no education value! It would just be fun!" The Earth Ninja told Zane with a smirk. Before the Nindroid had a chance to respond Mr Saunders and the other students stopped their walking, the grey haired teacher turning to address his group of largely non interested students 

"Alright class, I'm sure you've all been enjoying this very fun and interesting trip to the Ninjago City Museum yes?" Mr Saunders spoke in front of his class of high school students, most of them too busy on their phones to care about what he was saying "Unfortunately the exhibit we're here to see today isn't quite ready yet so in the meantime you may enjoy the rest of the museum until it is ready!" The elderly teacher informed his students that quickly dispersed, the majority of them no doubt looking for a place to get a better signal 

"Oh great, more of this boring place is exactly what I wanted!" Kai voiced his annoyance with his arms crossed, just wanting to get the field trip over with "Come on hotshot, maybe we can find something that you'll actually find interesting around here" Skylor mumbled as she dragged the bored teen away from the other Ninja, hoping to find something to entertain her boyfriend 

With the Ninja no longer having to listen to Kai's loud complaining, they decided to actually enjoy the displays that the museum had to offer, there was really nothing else better to do. Cole slipped on his headphones and found himself looking for anything related to the history of music, while Zane found a nearby artwork of a lighthouse quite fascinating. A small exhibit based off the old Royal Family of Ninjago interested Harumi with Lloyd helplessly getting pulled along, staying away from the more scary exhibits Jay's interest was piqued by a display of old gears and mechanics that were once used to power Ninjago City 

While all the other Ninja were able to find something interesting in the vast collection of the museum, Nya was struggling to find anything that interested her, usually the Water Ninja found history not so bad but at the moment she was thinking that maybe her brother was right about the place being boring. Nya was about ready to join the rest of the students in looking for a better connection, but as she stepped away a very large painting in the corner of her eye caught the teen's attention

Standing in front of the vibrant painting Nya gazed at its full glory, admiring the bright reds that made up the flames that were spread all across the war torn battleground, the golden frame that contained the painting was decorated with skull emblems which perfectly matched the skeletons found in the art piece. Right in the middle of the painting was what really caught Nya's eye, a fierce and strong warrior proudly posing on the battlefield, her orange hair flowing gracefully as she held a skeleton head in one hand and a dao blade in the other

"Woah! Lady Iron Dragon!" Nya cheerfully said as she recognised the figure in the painting, the majestic figure being her all time favourite hero. The fangirl wasted no time in snapping several photos of the large portrait, wishing she could have her own copy for her bedroom "I see that you've found my personal favourite item" A female voice spoke to Nya, the black haired teen turned to face the voice "Oh hey Mrs Garmadon, you're a fan of Lady Iron Dragon too?" The Water Ninja asked Koko who greeted her with a smile 

"I suppose you could say that" Koko replied with a slight chuckle "This piece was painted just after a fierce battle between Lady Iron Dragon and a horde of skeletons that tried to attack a poor village, and I'm sure you can tell who won" The orange haired woman explained to Nya whilst gesturing to the painting "You've gotta tell me everything you know about Lady Iron Dragon!" Nya eagerly said to Koko, the cool girl of the team acting like an excited child

Koko couldn't help but chuckle at the girl's eagerness to learn more about her hero, and she was more than happy to share some more of her knowledge about the legendary hero "Mom? What are you doing here?" But before she could tell Nya more she was interrupted by her own son walking over, surprised to see her at the museum "Ha! Garmadork brought his mommy!" Chad Park and his cheerleading squad laughed as they strolled past Koko, Lloyd, Nya and Harumi, the other Ninja soon joining them all at the Lady Iron Dragon painting 

"Why I work here of course" Koko informed her blonde son who continued to sport a surprised look "Dude, you didn't know that your mom worked at the museum? That's kind of embarrassing" Kai told Lloyd who turned a slight shade of red "Well she's had so many jobs that I guess I lost track" The Green Ninja sheepishly rubbed the back of his head as he tried to defend himself "After all those times I've fixed your suit you could at least know the job I use to pay for all those suit repairs" Koko jokingly scolded her son, the other Ninja chuckling at the Green Ninja's embarrassment 

"Ew! This thing looks so gross!" Harumi's voice could be heard a few steps away from Nya's new favourite painting, the Ninja and Koko made their way over to Harumi and found her standing in front of a clear cylindrical tube that displayed a green liquid "This display was actually my first job with the museum" Koko pointed out "If you look at the plaque on the display you can see that this is a container full of the Great Devourer's venom" Lloyd's mother explained to the teenage Ninja "Ugh, I remember w-w-washing my suit four t-t-times to get the s-s-stench of the venom o-out of it" Jay commented while reading some of the information Koko wrote about the green venom, shuttering at the thought of being covered in the venom again

"This place was full of the Great Devourer's venom, that stuff sure does have the annoying ability to soak into the floor and walls of this place, I think they're actually still cleaning up some of the stuff" Koko told the Ninja who were certainly glad they couldn't smell the venom through the display, but they were a little less glad when Mr Saunders came over to tell them all that the exhibit they were there to look at was now ready enough for the class of students to see 

Koko decided to accompany the teenage Ninja as Mr Saunders and his full class of students were allowed through a set of large doors into one of the largest rooms in the whole museum, right in the centre of the room was what the students were there to see, a massive four armed stone statue wearing a set of warrior armour with each of its huge hands holding a giant sword. All over the room were decorations based off the gigantic warrior, celebrating the newest exhibit of the museum

"T-T-That statue looks t-t-terrifying!" Jay stuttered in fear, hiding himself behind the nearest Ninja "And awesome!" Kai added, not at all scared of the gigantic Stone Warrior statue in front of them all, something in the museum finally interesting the Fire Ninja "The museum has graciously allowed us to be some of the first to see their newest exhibit based around this giant Stone Warrior, very exciting yes?" Mr Saunders tried to get his students interested in the new exhibit, the Ninja being the only ones giving their attention "To speak more about this fantastic historical find we have the person who made the great discovery, Misako Garmadon!" Mr Saunders announced to the room

The Ninja all instantly turned to look at Lloyd's mom, all of them shocked to find out that she was the one to discover the massive statue "Mom? You discovered that thing?!" Lloyd said to his mother in disbelief "Not bad for my second job right?" Koko chuckled to her son as she made her way in front of the statue to speak to the class of students "I discovered this ancient giant Stone Warrior right beneath this very museum, this large warrior and many other Stone Warriors were created out of an indestructible material only found on the fabled Dark Island" Koko explained to the mostly uninterested students, at least her son and his friends were actually paying attention 

As Koko continued to speak about her great discovery, detailing the process of how she found the large warrior and providing the students with some history of the Stone Warriors, members of the museum cleaning crew shuffled into the room holding several buckets full to the brim of the Devourer's venom. The Ninja all recognised the stench as soon as the buckets entered the room, covering their noses along with everyone else in the room "Sorry about the smell folks" One of the janitors said as he walked through the exhibit holding a bucket full of the Great Devourer's venom in each of his hands

The cleaning crew made their way through the Stone Warrior exhibit, bringing with them a trolley full of cleaning equipment and plenty more buckets of the dreaded Devourer's venom that you could probably smell from the entrance of the museum. Along with covering their noses everyone in the room tried to cover their ears as the trolley had a faulty wheel that made a horrible noise as it was pushed along the museum floor, Cole's headphones certainly came in handy

It was definitely a challenge for the cleaning crew to push the trolley through the exhibit, needing to use a lot of force to move it across the museum floor, something that would soon spell disaster for everyone. As one of the janitors was putting all of their strength into pushing the cart of supplies, the faulty wheel snapped back into its proper place, sending the trolley full of buckets containing the Devourer's venom going off course and crashing directly into the large Stone Warrior statue, the venom splattering all over the colourless sculpture 

Everybody in the room gasped at what had just happened, everyone stepping backwards to avoid the green venom "Oh dear, that is most unfortunate" Mr Saunders commented as he made sure his students kept away from the venom "Well I suppose there is no use in crying over spilt venom" The old man tried to get a laugh or two out of his students, instead hearing the sound of ferocious cellphone typing 

"Ummm M-Mrs G-Garmadon? Is t-t-the venom supposed t-to do that?" Jay worriedly asked Koko as he pointed at the giant Stone Warrior, the Ninja and Koko directed their attention to the large statue covered in venom to see what Jay was talking about. Looking at the Stone Warrior the Ninja could see that the venom was being absorbed by the warrior, the colourless and dirty nature of the statue began to change as the body of the warrior became red and black, the swords going from dull rock to bright silver blades 

The eyes of the massive warrior suddenly opened to reveal a bright venomous green pair of eyes that looked down upon the people in front of it, a small growl could be heard coming from the black helmet of the statue "I-I-It's alive!" Jay shouted in terror as the venom seemed to awaken the statue "Yes! It is extremely life like no?" Mr Saunders spoke, completely unaware of what was happening behind him

A window shattering roar filled the exhibit room and echoed throughout the entire museum, everybody looking towards the source of the roar to see that the giant Stone Warrior had indeed come to life and seemed to be incredibly angry, it stepped off the stone podium which shook the entire building and bent down to face the tiny people before it, releasing another booming roar as it took a tall and mighty stance 

"RUUUUUNNN!" One of the terrified students screamed at the top of their lungs before bolting for the museum exit, everybody else quickly following behind "Everyone stick together now! No need to panic everything will be okay!" Mr Saunders tried to calm his students down but to no avail, their horrified shrieks echoing throughout the building as the group ran down the corridors of the museum, the sound of the massive Stone Warrior destroying what was behind them kept them all running 

As everybody raced as fast as they could for the exit, the Ninja and Koko managed to slip away from the horde of people and took refuge in the gift shop of the museum "So this is totally a Secret Ninja Force moment right?" Harumi asked the other Ninja who all gave her an eager nod, Jay being slightly more hesitant than the others "But what about Mr Saunders? Won't he be looking for us?" Skylor brought up to the group "I'll tell your teacher that I brought you all to another exit and you went to fetch help" Koko told the Ninja "You kids just focus on showing that thing who's boss" The orange haired woman said to the Ninja with an encouraging smile, giving her son a quick hug before quickly heading off to join the other students and Mr Saunders outside the museum 

"Now this is what I call a field trip!" Kai eagerly exclaimed as he spun into his Spinjitzu, instantly changing from his casual attire into his Red Ninja gi, the rest of the Ninja following in his footsteps "B-B-But how in the w-w-world are we s-s-supposed to stop something t-t-that big and t-terrifying?!" Jay yelled with his voice full of panic "Leave it to the Earth Ninja to beat up a stone statue" Cole confidently spoke, his hammer at the ready to smash the Stone Warrior to pieces 

"I am certain that you would be quite effective with your hammer Cole" Zane assured the Earth Ninja "But I do suggest that before we try and face such a large opponent we formulate a strategic plan" The Nindroid proposed to the other Ninja "Lloyd's mom mentioned that thing was made from an indestructible material from an island, how exactly are we meant to defeat something that's indestructible?" Nya brought up to the group, struggling to see how they could beat such a large enemy with no easy weakness "Maybe there's someway we can turn it back into a lifeless statue?" Lloyd came up with an idea on how to stop the large warrior 

The Ninja bounced ideas off of each other in the gift shop until the eight of them could feel the very floor beneath them shake violently, as if an earthquake was about to happen. They all looked towards the entrance to the gift shop as the sound of the massive Stone Warrior stomping through the halls came closer and closer, the Ninja readied their weapons as they prepared themselves to face off against the warrior. The angry growls of the warrior just outside the gift shop served as a warning just before the four large swords of the warrior came crashing through the wall, tearing the concrete apart as the Stone Warrior burst through the wall and looked down at the Ninja with a scowl 

"Alright let's try knock this guy down with Spinjitzu!" Lloyd shouted to the other Ninja before spinning into his green Spinjitzu tornado and heading towards the warrior, the colourful tornadoes of the other Ninja following behind him. All at once the Ninjas' Spinjitzu collided with the feet of the Stone Warrior, the only result being further angering the massive warrior that with one swing sent all of the Ninja crashing into the gift shop wall "Well it was worth a shot" Lloyd groaned as he picked himself back up, giving Harumi a helping hand as the other Ninja got back onto their feet 

Zane and Skylor took note of the hanging lights on the ceiling of the gift shop and together with their bow and crossbow fired several arrows, freeing the heavy lights and watching as they fell from the ceiling and landed directly on the warrior's head, once again the warrior was left unharmed and further enraged. The warrior released a deafening roar as it charged at the Ninja, despite the shaking ground the Ninja were able to roll out of the way and avoid a very grizzly fate as the Stone Warrior ran straight through the gift shop wall, leaving a gigantic hole for the Ninja to follow through 

The Stone Warrior shook its gigantic head as it turned around to face the hole it had just made, letting out a menacing growl as it watched the Ninja jump through the destroyed wall and square up against the warrior. The entire museum seemed to shake as the extremely tall Stone Warrior began running towards the Ninja, surprising the team of colourful heroes as for a big guy the living statue was surprisingly fast, shaking off their surprise the Ninja were all able to escape another attack from the warrior, feeling the warrior's blades strike the ground behind them

"Look! This could be our chance!" Lloyd shouted to the other Ninja, pointing over at the Stone Warrior which seemed to be stuck as the warrior struggled to pull the large blades it held out of the ground "Let's jump onto it and see what we can do!" The Green Ninja commanded his fellow Ninja as they all dashed forward and quickly jumped onto the Stone Warrior 

As he landed onto the back of the Stone Warrior Lloyd swung his silver dao blade, expecting to at least leave a scratch on the warrior's red armour, instead his sword shattered into several pieces with the red armour looking untouched "Oh great, Master Wu is not gonna be happy about me needing another new sword" Lloyd mumbled in defeat

Cole leaped past Lloyd and the rest of the Ninja, landing on the right shoulder armour of the still stuck warrior, the Earth Ninja put all of his strength into swinging his strong hammer into the head of the warrior, as soon as his hammer made contact with the Stone Warrior the metal head of the weapon split into two parts which fell off the wooden handle, leaving Cole with nothing but a long wooden stick as a weapon "So not cool man!" Cole angrily yelled at the warrior 

Kai and Harumi stayed on the ground and made an attempt at attacking the feet of the warrior, hoping to find some sort of weak spot in the supposedly indestructible body, Kai slashed his two katanas against the left foot of the warrior while Harumi tried to stick her two silver sai into the right foot of the warrior, both of their weapons instantly broke into pieces once they made contact with the Stone Warrior 

With a booming roar the massive Stone Warrior decided to leave their large swords stuck in the dense ground, using its four arms to swat the Ninja off of its body and even grabbing hold of one of them, holding the unlucky Ninja high in the air as the warrior tightly squeezed the Ninja who shrieked in immense pain "It's got Jay!" Nya shouted as the Ninja could see the Lightning Ninja trying to escape the incredibly tight grasp of the grunting warrior, Nya threw her spear directly at the hand that was attempting to crush Jay, just like the other Ninja her attack only resulted in her weapon being broken by the Stone Warrior's unbreakable body 

The eyes of the Ninja widened as the warrior prepared to throw the struggling Jay at the Ninja, in a flash the screaming Jay was sent hurdling towards the other Ninja and crashed directly into both Cole and Zane knocking the two of them onto the floor "Uhhh anyone still have their weapon?" Harumi asked in fear as the large Stone Warrior slowly began walking towards the group of Ninja "Zane and I still have our bow and crossbow but I doubt our arrows are gonna do much" Skylor informed Harumi as the Ninja started to back away from the approaching enemy 

"Our weapons are clearly no use, I've been talking to Master Wu about my powers and he told me a good way for me to fully unlock them is to try and use them as much as I can, maybe that's how we can stop this ugly thing" Lloyd spoke to his teammates who all quickly jumped behind Lloyd as the Green Ninja stood his ground against the Stone Warrior, closing his green eyes and trying to tap into his elemental power 

Lloyd put his hands together before using them to form a sphere shape, attempting to force the energy of his body to flow into his two hands, even with the ground shaking from the Stone Warrior Lloyd persisted in trying to summon his green power, not letting the shaking of the ground or roars from the warrior destroy his concentration. The other Ninja were about ready to grab their friend and start running away but just as Harumi reached for Lloyd a bright green light began shining from Lloyd's hands, with a small glowing green orb forming between his black gloves, the sphere of power grew a tiny bit more before Lloyd was able to force the orb in his hands to shoot out a powerful blast of energy that collided right into the chest of the large Stone Warrior 

Green flames covered the area in which the warrior was hit by Lloyd's blast of power, it looked like Lloyd's power had finally done the job and the Ninja celebrated their victory over the living statue. Their victory would wind up being short-lived however as the massive Stone Warrior emerged from out of the green flames, not a single piece of damage being done by Lloyd's power "Ummm r-r-run? We're g-good to r-run now?" Jay suggested to the other Ninja who all gladly went along with Jay's usual scared nature

Without wasting another minute the eight Ninja quickly spun around and put Master Wu's training to the test as they sprinted as fast as they all possibly could, none of them daring to look back at the sounds of destruction from the Stone Warrior chasing them down "What now? That thing is completely unstoppable!" Nya was able to shout in between her heavy breaths, starting to lose a bit of her confidence "It is clear that our physical attacks will do nothing against the indestructible Stone Warrior, perhaps our next plan should involve outsmarting it" The Nindroid voice of Zane spoke to the group of fast running Ninja, the eight of them taking a sharp right turn just before the Stone Warrior got the chance to stomp on them all 

"Before we start making up a new plan let's first get away from this guy!" Harumi exclaimed as she almost tripped over a fallen pillar, jumping just at the right second to avoid getting left behind "B-B-But how?! It'll j-just run right t-t-through every wall!" Jay's panicked voice could be heard shouting "Then let's go somewhere that big guy can't follow!" Lloyd loudly said before suddenly changing course and heading right for a small vent in a nearby wall

"A little help with this Cole?" Lloyd's strained voice called out to the Earth Ninja as he struggled with opening the vent, the muscular Ninja gladly made his way over to the metal vent cover and without breaking a sweat ripped the cover clean off, allowing for the Ninja to crawl inside the vent to get out of the Stone Warrior's sight "Huh, sure is convenient that we can all fit inside of these vent ducts" Kai felt the need to point out as the eight Ninja carefully crawled through the awfully small and dusty space "Speak for yourself, these ducts weren't at all made for people as muscular as me" Cole commented, finding it difficult to smoothly move inside the vents due to his muscle bound figure

Harumi certainly wasn't enjoying her Ninja outfit becoming covered in dust and other forms of dirt, and Jay was certainly not enjoying the close quarters of the vents, needing to close his eyes as he carefully crawled behind the other Ninja, hearing the Stone Warrior yelling behind them terrified the Lightning Ninja even more. Zane's bright Nindroid eyes were able to light the way as the Ninja traveled through the metal vents, constantly turning left and right before they eventually could see another vent cover, being able to see a Stone Warrior free room on the other side 

Cole once again used his strength to break off the vent cover, feeling glad to finally be out of the cramped vent ducts, lending a hand to the other Ninja as they all exited the small space "That is the last time I go through any vent ducts" Harumi complained as she tried to rid her costume of the dust and dirt from the vents, grabbing a nearby brush from an archaeology display to help 

"Y'know that's for display only right?" A sudden voice spoke from the hallway, the Ninja directed their attention toward the corridor to meet the gaze of a familiar figure "Mom?! What are you doing here?!" Lloyd was shocked to see his mother for the second time that day "You're supposed to be outside where it's safe!" He protested as the older woman joined the group of eight Ninja 

"I couldn't just leave you and your friends to fight that thing by yourselves" Koko told her son with a confident look "Uhhh no offence Mrs G but I'm not sure how you could help us stop that big guy" Kai politely spoke to the orange haired woman "I can help you lot by showing you where I found that thing, a bottomless pit in a closed off section of the museum, I'm thinking that putting that thing back where I found it is the key to stopping it" Koko informed the Secret Ninja Force who all listened attentively 

"That does sound like a very promising plan" Zane agreed with what Lloyd's mom was proposing the Ninja do "A-A-As long as I'm n-n-not the one leading it t-to the hole I think it c-can work" Jay meekly spoke up, wanting to stay as far away as possible from the Stone Warrior after his last encounter with the giant statue "Alright then that's our plan, but as soon as you show us to this bottomless pit you're getting out of here" Lloyd said to his mother, Koko gave her son a stern look for telling her what to do before simply nodding and heading for the bottomless pit, the Ninja following closely behind 

Koko led the group of Ninja down several different exhibits and hallways before finally stopping in her tracks in front of a large room blocked off with yellow caution tape, she effortlessly ripped the tape out of the way and guided the Ninja to the massive hole in the centre of the room, more caution tape lining the edges of the hole "Here it is, it was an absolute nightmare getting that Stone Warrior out of it so it feels like a waste now putting it back" Koko admitted as she stared back into the bottomless pit

"Okay you've done your part, now please go back outside where it's safe" Lloyd urged his mother, trying to usher the woman out of the room before the Stone Warrior arrived "Alright alright I'm going, but you have to promise me to be safe when dealing with that giant Stone Warrior, the last thing I want is to have a son flattened by a giant living statue" Koko spoke to her son as the two of them shared a quick hug before Koko began heading for the museum exit 

"Now that it's just us Ninja, how exactly are we going to send that big ugly statue back where it came from?" Kai asked the group as he cracked his knuckles, really wanting to get rid of the Stone Warrior for breaking his silver katana "We've just gotta get the big guy in the room and bait him into falling down the hole, without falling in ourselves of course" Nya answered her brother

As if it had heard its cue the Ninja could hear the Stone Warrior's loud stomping coming their way, and it wasn't long until the doorway in front of them was smashed to bits by the massive Stone Warrior bursting into the room "Nice to see that the big guy has a sense of timing" Harumi commented with a hint of fear, slowly backing away from the large four armed warrior. The Stone Warrior slowly started marching towards the Ninja, growls coming from its black helmet while the group of Ninja cautiously stepped backwards, remembering the bottomless pit behind them

Lloyd turned his attention to Zane and Skylor, an idea popping into his head "You two still got some arrows?" He asked the two Ninja, the both of them nodding as they wondered what their leader was up to "When the Stone Warrior comes charging at us aim for those big pretty green eyes, surely those aren't indestructible" Lloyd told the Nindroid and Orange Ninja

An almost deafening roar was released by the Stone Warrior before it began charging right for the group of colourful Ninja, Zane and Skylor quickly loaded their bow and crossbow and aimed for one venomous green eye each, both waiting for the right moment to shoot their arrows. Jay definitely wasn't about to keep waiting for the right moment, the Blue Ninja shrieked in terror as the warrior approached and jumped to the side out of the warrior's way, which luckily for him didn't seem to care 

Even as the ground violently shook and the Stone Warrior got closer and closer, the seven Ninja bravely stood their ground, Jay watched on with wide eyes hoping he wouldn't end up being the only member of the Secret Ninja Force. Harumi was about ready to join Jay on the sidelines when Lloyd finally gave Zane and Skylor their cue "Now!" 

Without another thought Zane and Skylor released their arrows and the two projectiles hurled through the air, both directly striking the green eyes of the Stone Warrior with a loud growl of pain filling the room as the warrior was rendered blind from the attack. This was the perfect time for the seven Ninja to roll to the side, getting to watch as the Stone Warrior blindly rushed forward and fell into the bottomless pit it came from, the booming yell of the Stone Warrior became quieter and quieter as the living statue plummeted into the darkness hopefully never to return 

The Ninja all stood up and carefully looked down the bottomless pit, the once massive warrior was reduced to nothing but a small blob of colour before eventually fading out of sight, becoming engulfed by the blackness of the bottomless pit. Sighs of relief could be heard coming from each of the Ninja, except for Zane, he just widely smiled underneath his white mask "That was awesome! Best field trip ever!" Kai shouted excitedly, receiving a firm slap on the back of the head from his younger sister who definitely didn't enjoy the ordeal as much as Kai did

"Oh geez, I hope the museum isn't planning on billing us for this place" Lloyd scratched the back of his head whilst looking at all of the damage the Stone Warrior had caused, it was a wonder that the building was still somewhat standing "I h-hope I never have t-t-to see that S-Stone Warrior e-e-ever again" Jay meekly said as the Ninja left the bottomless pit behind, slightly jumping at the sight of a poster for the Stone Warrior exhibit "Let's just get out of here before another exhibit comes to life, I don't quite fancy fighting a horde of skeletons" Nya commented, all of the running from the large Stone Warrior tiring her and the other Ninja out 

Before Gayle Gossip or anybody else could swarm the scene to record the carnage left behind by the Stone Warrior, the Ninja used their Spinjitzu to quickly change back into their civilian attire and headed out the back exit of the museum, with the Ninja being exhausted after dealing with such a challenging enemy they all decided to call it quits for the day, saying their goodbyes to each other before heading their separate ways

It had been countless hours since Garmadon and the Serpentine generals began their search for the Dark Island, their Rattlecopter flying over nothing but an empty ocean for almost an entire day, Lord Garmadon eagerly jumping at every single small landmass they encountered. The four Serpentine generals were really starting to get sick and tired of the endless searching for this one island "Thissss isss abssssurd!" Skalidor hissed to the other generals "Garmadon hassss completely losssst hisss mind! We've been here all day and yet we sssstill haven't found that island!" The Constrictai general vented his immense frustration 

"Now you can all sssee that I wassss right, it'ssss time to finally rid the SSSSerpentine of their incompetent leader!" Skales angrily spoke to his fellow Serpentine "Then I shall take charge of our kind and lead ussss to a more prosssperoussss future! A future that involvesss the sssurface dwellersss sssuffering at our handssss!" The Hypnobrai general declared, the three other generals on board with his plans

"Looks like there's no Dark Island over here, start flying over there! It's gotta be somewhere over there!" Lord Garmadon pointed as he commanded the poor Fangpyre that was chosen to fly the Rattlecopter, the nervous Serpentine quickly obeyed the orders given to them and hastily changed the flight direction of the Rattlecopter "Watch assss a true leader takessss control" Skales slyly told the other generals before he slithered right up to the large open door of the green helicopter "There it is! The Dark Island!" Skales loudly shouted as he pointed his scaly hand at the empty ocean 

Lord Garmadon immediately rushed over to the open door to see what the Hypnobrai general was pointing at "Where?! Where is it!?" Garmadon yelled as he frantically looked in the direction Skales pointed in, seeing nothing but the same empty ocean. From behind the warlord Skales raised his golden staff and harshly swung it directly into Garmadon's head, a loud clang filling the air as Lord Garmadon was knocked unconscious as he plummeted from the Rattlecopter, Skales watched in pleasure as the warlord made a small splash in the Endless Sea and was taken away by the ferocious waves 

"All hail SSSkalesss! The true leader of the SSSerpentine!" The other three Serpentine generals chanted whilst Skales took the time to maniacally laugh, taking great satisfaction in finally ridding himself of Lord Garmadon's idiotic control, taking one last look at where the warlord had fallen into the ocean before the Rattlecopter headed back to the island of Ninjago, a new age of the Serpentine was just about to begin 

Youch, that's oughta give Garmadon quite the painful headache, that is if he even gets out of the Endless Sea. Looks like the hierarchy of the Serpentine universe is about to change, with one of their own kind finally leading their charge against the surface dwellers of Ninjago. Will the museum find a way to bill the Ninja for all of the damage? Is this the last time the Ninja will fight a Stone Warrior? And most importantly, was Garmadon wearing his floaties?!
