(Garmadon's POV)

I can't believe it! My own flesh and blood has been thwarting my schemes this entire time! I feel like such a fool! I repeatedly slammed my fists onto my planning table with rage, with every punch I got angrier and angrier, soon splitting the wooden table into two pieces. Oh great! Now where am I supposed to write down all my plans!?

"What's gotten you in such a fit?" Pythor slithered in questioning me 

"The Green Ninja!" I yelled at Pythor and went back to destroying the room

"So the usual" Pythor sighed as he turned around to slither away

"I wish it was the usual!" I shouted out catching Pythor's attention making him turn around "Now I'm stuck with the knowledge of who he really is!"

"Really?! This is great!" Pythor told me with a wicked smile, probably plotting some evil plan

"Not when it's my own son!" I yelled back at Pythor 

"Oh that is not good" Pythor stopped smiling

"There goes the recruiting my son idea! If my brother trained him then there's no chance we are turning him to our side!" I told Pythor 

"Maybe we don't have to turn him" Pythor wickedly smiled again as he slithered behind me 

"What do you mean?" I asked Pythor intrigued 

"How about instead of turning him we turn the city against him!" Pythor suggested in a stroke of genius "If the city finds out that the Green Ninja was secretly the son of Lord Garmadon they will no longer feel safe, the Green Ninja will become a villain in their eyes and be hunted down!"

"Now that sounds like a plan!" I joined Pythor in cackling, but soon stopped after I thought of a consequence of this new plan

"What's wrong? Do you not like the plan?" Pythor asked me confused 

"Oh no it is a great plan, I'm just worried about one aspect of it" I told Pythor and he looked at me strangely 

"And what aspect is that? I'm sure Gayle Gossip would love to run the story!" Pythor said 

"No no it's not that" I told him turning away to look at an old photo "If the city hunts down Lloyd then naturally they'll hunt down the people close to him, like Koko" 

"You are really gonna throw away this perfect plan all because of your ex wife?!" Pythor snapped at me 

"If a single hair is touched on Koko's hair I will personally see it that whoever harms her has more than just their hair harmed do I make myself clear?!" I picked Pythor up by his golden Serpentine necklace and pinned him to the wall 

"Yes yes! Get your hands off me!" Pythor screamed at me and I let him go, he fell to the floor but picked himself up and then dusted his scales off 

"Now that we have that settled" I straightened myself up "Call a meeting with the other Serpentine generals, it's time we find that Serpentine city"

"Excellent" Pythor grinned

(Lloyd's POV)

Slowly walking down the ruined hallway towards mine and my mom's apartment I frantically thought of what I could say to her, but I just couldn't think of anything. All I could think about is saying sorry, but what should I be sorry for? I've been protecting the city! Saving everyone! But I've also been throwing myself into harms way, which now that my mom knows I'm the Green Ninja probably has her worried sick. I'm the only blood family member she has left, and if I were to just disappear one day along with the Green Ninja she would collapse, and I just can't do that to her 

I slowly opened the door to the apartment and stepped inside, shutting the door behind me. As soon as I walked in I could see my mom sitting down on our couch waiting for me, cheeks stained with tears. Her arms were folded and her expression was a mix of sadness and anger, gulping I stepped forward to talk with her 

"H-Hey mom" I greeted her, sounding a bit like Jay "I ummm got us some sushi on my way here"

"Put it on the table" My mom looked at me sternly, not breaking eye contact as I carefully placed the sushi down on the table "We need to have a chat"

"I uhhh thought so" I nervously rubbed the back of my neck

"Why Lloyd" My mom sighed looking down at the floor "Why did you never tell me"

"I.......didn't want to worry you, and I ......didn't want anyone to hurt you" I told my mom who looked back up at me with tears in her eyes 

"Even when I didn't know you were the Green Ninja I was still worried! I knew about you sneaking out and feared you would never come back!" She cried at me making me tear up too

"Mom I'm sorry, I thought I was protecting you by not telling you" I tried to explain to her 

"Protecting me?! What about you!" My mom snapped at me "You shouldn't be risking your life everyday for a city that hates you!"

"Well I have to mom!" I snapped back at her "I don't care if they hate me it's the right thing to do!"

"You could get yourself killed Lloyd!" She shouted back at me "And then I would be left all alone!"

"That's not true! You would have Sensei Wu!" I spat out, covering my mouth in my hands shortly after 

"Oh so Wu was in on this too?!" Mom yelled out "Why didn't you trust me Lloyd?!"

"This!" I shouted back at her "I knew you wouldn't like me being the Green Ninja!"

"And I have every right to! I can't believe you've done this to me Lloyd!" My mom shouted at me just before she stormed off and slammed her bedroom door behind her, I stood there feeling so disappointed in myself, my mom was the only one who always supported me and now I've made her feel like this, I have to fix this 

"Thanks for coming on such short notice guys" I thanked my friends as I let them inside of the apartment 

"It is no problem Lloyd" Zane smiled at me as he walked in with the others 

"You guys wait here while I go get my mom" I told the others who nodded and stayed put 

I walked across the small apartment and looked at my mom's door with my hand raised ready to knock, it took a moment to summon the courage to do it but I finally knocked on her door and stepped back, waiting for her to come out. The door unlocked and slowly opened, my mom stepped out slowly and was surprised to see a group of strangers in the apartment 

"Lloyd if you had told me we were having guests I would have made something for them to eat" My mom said to me before she began walking to the kitchen, I put my hand in the way and stopped her

"They aren't here to eat mom" I told her with a smile as Harumi stepped forward 

"Hello Ms Garmadon" Harumi greeted my mother 

"Mom this is Harumi" I introduced my mom to Harumi "She is my girlfriend"

"You have a girlfriend?!" My mom's eyes sparkled as she embraced us both in one of her famous extremely tight hugs "Oh you are just my son's type!"

"Mom!" I blushed brightly making both my mom and Rumi giggle, the others all laughed too "O-Okay mom I-I think that's enough h-hugging!" I struggled to say, my mother let go off me and Rumi letting us breathe 

"I am terribly sorry about that Harumi" My mom apologised to Rumi 

"It's fine Ms Garmadon" Rumi smiled at my mom

"Oh please, call me Koko" My mom smiled back at her "That goes for the rest of you too" She faced the others who smiled back and nodded 

"It is wonderful to meet you Koko" Zane smiled brightly at my mom who smiled back

"But we're not just here to say hello" Kai suddenly spoke up

"Y-Yeah, we're h-h-here to tell you h-how amazing y-your son is!" Jay stuttered out shyly 

"Your son is a hero" Nya stepped forward "You shouldn't be upset with him for risking his life saving others, you should be proud of him"

"Sure he could get himself hurt but we're a team and we look out for each other!" Cole spoke to my mom "He hid this all from you to keep you safe"

"We may be like family to him but you're his real family, he does what he does to protect you" Skylor smiled, I looked at my mom and saw her wipe away some tears 

"Mom? Are you okay?" I asked her, worrying that me bringing the others over made it worse 

"I-I'm fine Lloyd" She smiled at me as she wiped away more tears "Your friends are right. At first I was upset you hid this from me and worried about you getting hurt, but now I know you were lying to me to protect me and that your friends are looking out for you"

"So you're okay with me being the Green Ninja?" I asked my mom, hoping she would say yes 

"Yes, and I am very proud of you Lloyd" My mom smiled brightly as she embraced me in another hug, I hugged her back with a smile on my face 

"We'll just leave you two alone" Kai started ushering the others out of the apartment until my mom suddenly stopped him 

"As far as I'm concerned you are all family, so please stay a little longer" My mom smiled at the others who all smiled back and soon joined us in a big hug 

I'm so glad this whole hiding my identity from my mom is over, but I really hope her knowing doesn't end up hurting her. At least now I'll be able to protect her even more, especially now that my father knows who I am and where I live
