(Jay's POV)

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

I slowly opened up my eyes and grabbed my phone to turn off my alarm, I groaned as I reluctantly got out of bed, another day as Jay

I opened up my closet and pulled out my usual attire, I made my way into the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my freckled face

Walking into the kitchen I could smell the pancakes my mother had made for me and my dad

"Morning sweetie" My mom smiled at me as I sat down to eat my breakfast

I practically scarfed down my pancakes before I grabbed the last few things I needed for school and left the Junkyard, hopeful that today would be a good day

I slowly walked through the doors of the school and nervously made my way over to my locker, hoping to see my friends, and luckily they were all there waiting for me

"H-h-hey guys" I waved at them as I approached my locker

"There you are Jay! We were getting worried you wouldn't show" Kai greeted me

"O-O-Of course I was g-gonna show up!" I told Kai as I opened up my locker and grabbed some stuff I needed

"So Jay we've all came up with an idea" Lloyd began to tell me

"Oh y-y-yeah? W-what is it?" I asked Lloyd, praying it wasn't another prank war

"Well since we get off school early today we decided to have a day out in the City!" Lloyd explained to me as I closed my locker and locked it

"What do you say Jay? You gonna join us?" Cole asked me as he held Seliel's hand, they sure are cute together

"Ummm s-s-sure!" I happily replied, happy I get to spend more time with my friends

"Great! It wouldn't be the same without you Jay" Nya cutely smiled at me, I brought my orange scarf up to my face to hide my blush as I let out a small embarrassed chuckle

"Ah this is gonna be so much fun!" Kai hyped us all up

The first bell of the day rang and we all parted ways for our first class of the day, ugh despite this being a half day it's gonna feel like a full day plus five years!

The bell for my final class of the day finally rang and I began throwing all my stuff into my bag to get out of the class

"And don't forget to do the questions on page 70626 for homework!" Mr. Saunders told us as we all ran out of his classroom, which weirdly had tons of clocks all over the place. That guy is really obsessed with time!

I speed walked through the halls of the school with my head down and my hands in my pockets, really not wanting to catch anyone's attention. Lately I haven't been being bullied like usual, maybe it's because I actually have friends now?

Leaving the school building I saw everyone waiting for me patiently, I walked down the steps of the school and joined them all under the blossom tree

"H-H-hey guys, t-thanks for uhhh w-waiting for me" I thanked everyone who smiled

"Of course we were going to wait for you Jay, you are our friend after all" Zane smiled at me

"Let's get this show on the road then!" Lloyd said as we began to walk towards the main part of Ninjago City

"Okay so I think it's best we split into pairs" Harumi suggested

"Good idea Rumi!" Lloyd smiled at Harumi

"Well I'm definitely gonna be with Skylor" Kai smirked

"And I'm definitely going to be with Seliel" Cole spoke up

"Hmmm and I think I'll go with Lloyd" Harumi said as she took Lloyd's hand

"So that just leaves Jay, Nya and Zane" Skylor smirked at Nya for some reason

"Alright then it's settled, Kai and Skylor will be a pair, Lloyd and Harumi will be a pair, Cole and I will be a pair and Jay, Nya and Zane will be a pair" Seliel told us all

Everyone walked away in different directions until it was just me, Nya and Zane standing there awkwardly

"Soooo, where do you guys wanna go first?" Nya suddenly spoke up

"Uhhhh I-I-I would l-l-like to ummm c-check out the c-comic book s-store, if that's o-o-okay with you umm t-two" I nervously stuttered out as I rubbed my arm anxiously, I am both very happy and very nervous to be paired up with Nya, oh and Zane too I guess

"That is perfectly fine with me Jay" Zane responded

"And it's okay with me too!" Nya smiled at me, making my heart skip several beats

The three of us walked around the bright and vibrant City, taking in all of the beautiful architecture and greenery. Sure the City is pretty crammed and busy but hey what city isn't? As we walked towards the comic book store we admired all the beautifully clean water that the city was built on top of

Stepping into the comic book store was always a dream come true, shelves full of nerdy stuff I love and adore. Ranging from Starfarer, Titanium Man, Captain Ninjago, Batman and you can't forget the classic Arachnid Boy! I loved those comics growing up, and I still do!

I practically teleported around the store geeking and nerding out over everything I could see, much to Nya and Zane's amusement. I even got to see replicas of Illuma-Swords up close and personal! There was so much cool stuff here!

"Wait a minute, what's this?" Nya said confused as she picked up a comic book, I looked at what she had picked up and I was shocked! It was a comic book about us! The Secret Ninja Force!

"It appears to be about us Nya, well our ninja identities that is" Zane informed Nya

"T-t-that's so c-c-cool! We're l-like c-celebrities!" I cheered a little bit too loud, thankfully nobody else was in the store expected for a cashier who was just playing on his phone

"We have to get one for everyone!" Nya suggested as she started grabbing one comic book for everyone else

"Hehe I uh g-g-gotta say I'm k-kind of hurt they n-n-never asked us t-to do a signing e-e-event" I chuckled rubbing the back of my neck making Nya giggle cutely

"If you were hurt about not doing an event for the comic book you may not want to look behind you Jay" Zane told me, I looked at him an eyebrow raised and looked behind me

"Oh m-m-my First S-S-Spinjitzu! Ninja P-Plushies!" I yelled out as I ran towards the shelf grabbing one of each

"C-can we get t-them p-pleeeease" I begged Nya and Zane

"Alright alright we can get one of each for the guys" Nya giggled as she grabbed a plushie of herself

"These plushies are very good quality. We would have known I would look.....cute in plushie form" Zane admired his plushie

"M-m-maybe they'll make p-plushies for Skylor and H-H-Harumi" I whispered to Nya and Zane as we went up to pay for all our ninja merch, I wonder if we'll get a cut of the merch sales

We walked out of the comic book store with our ninja merch in two plastic bags with the comic book store's logo slapped onto them

"S-so where do y-y-you guys wanna g-go now?" I asked Nya and Zane

"If it is okay with you two I would very much like to check out the robotic store, I am in need of a few new parts" Zane asked us

"Sure Zane! Lead the way" Nya smiled at Zane who began leading us towards the robotic store

Inside the robotic store Zane admired all the nindroid bits and bobs for sale. He informed us about all the different parts and which parts he needed, apparently his arms have been a little stiff lately so he really wants to get new parts for his arms. Zane ended up picking up a few parts along with some oil, we left the mechanical robotic store, thankful to be breathing in fresh air and not oil invested air

"Do you wish to go somewhere Nya?" Zane asked Nya who took a moment to respond

"Hmmm, I have wanted to check out the new clothes store down by the crab restaurant" Nya told us

"T-t-to the uhhh c-clothes store it i-i-is!" I stuttered out letting Nya lead us across a bridge towards the clothes store

I gotta say the clothes store was definitely the most boring part of the day, Zane and I just followed Nya around and just nodded at whatever she said. Sure I lov- I mean I like Nya but I really wanted to escape that place as soon as I could, I just found all this girly stuff very very boring

"Oh hey look at this!" Nya suddenly said to us catching both mine and Zane's attention

We looked over at what Nya was admiring and oh my First Spinjitzu Master more ninja merch! There was an Earth Ninja shirt, an Ice Ninja shirt, a Fire Ninja shirt, a Green Ninja shirt, a Water Ninja shirt and even a Lightning Ninja shirt! A shirt with my face on it! Well my masked face but hey it's me!

"C-c-can we please g-g-get them N-N-Nya? Pleeeease" I begged Nya again who giggled at my childish behaviour

"Wow you just love ninja merch huh, well if it makes you happy we can get them" Nya smiled at me, my face lit up as I began tossing the ninja merch into our little shopping basket, getting one for each of the other ninja

The three of us walked over to the checkout and paid for all the ninja merch and the few things Nya picked out for herself, once we left the clothes store Nya's phone began to rang. She reached into her pocket and answered the call

"Hey Kai, what is it?" Nya asked Kai

"We're all gonna meet up at Chen's Noodle House, bring Jay and Zane" Kai told Nya before hanging up

"Kai wants us all to go meet up at Chen's Noodle House" Nya informed us, Zane and I nodded and we all quickly made our way to Chen's Noodle House

"Hey guys, sorry it took us a bit to get here" Nya apologised as the three of us joined the others in a booth at Chen's Noodle House

"No worries Nya, we're just glad you guys got back here safe" Skylor smiled

"So what did you guys get up to? All we did was go to every candy store Lloyd could see" Harumi chuckled

"I can't help it if I have a sweet tooth" Lloyd pouted making us all laugh

"W-W-Well first we v-v-visited the comic book s-s-store and you uhhh w-would not believe what we f-found!" I told the others as I reached into the comic book store bags to pull out the ninja plushies "N-N-Ninja plushies!"

"Oh wow these are so cool!" Harumi said as I handed everyone their plushies

"Awwww this little Earth Ninja is so cute" Seliel fangirled as she hugged her Earth Ninja plush, Cole just smiling at her

"A-a-and they had N-Ninja comic b-b-books!" I smiled as I handed out the comic books to everyone

"Wow you guys sure are obsessed with the ninja" Seliel chuckled, we all looked at each other until Lloyd finally spoke up

"Haha yeah we just love the protectors of our city" Lloyd awkwardly smiled hoping Seliel wouldn't ask anymore questions

"So what else did you guys do?" Kai asked us, quickly changing the subject

"After we visited the comic book store we visited the robotic store, I picked up a few parts and some oil for my stiff arms. It was a very fun store" Zane told everyone

"And after that store we checked out the clothes store and we found even more ninja merch!" Nya happily said as she handed everyone their shirts

"Oh wow these shirts are cool" Cole admired his shirt with his ninja self on the front

After we gave the others all their ninja merch we all sat down and talked about our day as we ate whatever we ordered. After we all finished our meals we all went our separate ways, today was really fun and I'm so glad I got to spend more time with Nya! Ugh and now I have to spend at least 2 hours on history homework! Damn you Mr. Saunders!
