Jessica's POV
After school, me and Tobias walked towards the football field. Since we had most of the classes together, we were together almost the whole day. He wanted to come with me to try outs because he really didn't know anybody else.

I told him I have to meet with the girls to change, and he said he will go to bleachers and watch from there. I told him he doesn't have to stay and can go home, but he insisted on staying.

I walked to the changing room and saw Emma, Snow and Anna already there, along with some other girls.

We greeted each other and then I started changing. We were given a white shirt with baby blue sleeves that end mid arm and blue short shorts.

I put my hair in a high ponytail as the other girls and me and my friends walked outside.

The football tryouts were there too, so we saw the guys. Max looked at me. He smirked a little and waved. I waved back.

"Jessica!"I heard my name being called. I turned towards the sound and saw Tobias waving excitedly. I giggled and waved at him too, then followed the others.

Max's POV
Me and Sam were watching the other guys taking their turns at the try outs when suddenly we saw the girls coming out. They were wearing matching clothes.

I scanned them for Jessica and suddenly saw her. She was wearing a shirt and short shorts. Too short, but they looked good on her. Everything looks good on her.

She noticed me looking at her. I smirked a little and waved. The waved back, but then someone yelled something and she turned to the bleachers, like I am not even there.

I looked up too and saw Tobias, again. Ugh. I really hate this guy.

"What is Jessica wearing!"Sam suddenly said from next to me.

I looked at him and rose an eyebrow."What do you mean?"I asked.

"She's wearing way too short shorts! She shouldn't wear that! She looks like a slut!"Sam said."I am gonna kill her!"he said and looked at the other guys. I looked at them too. They were all staring at Jessica, who was falling back from the ground since she stopped to greet me Tobias."There are too much guys staring at her! That's unacceptable! I will have a long talk with her after that!"Sam demanded.

I rolled my eyes."You're not her father, Sam."I told him.

He looked at me and crossed his arms."I am her brother. I have to take care of her."he told me."Besides, your sister wears the same."

"What!?"I asked and saw Emma wearing short shorts too."I will kill her!"I said, angrily. I was too distracted by Jess to think about my sister. I need help.

Jessica's POV
After try outs, I went to change and then went out to be met with Tobias, again. It's getting kind of weird.

"Hi Jessica! Want me to walk you home?"Tobias asked.

I rose an eyebrow."You don't know where I live."I told him.

He nodded."That's true, but you can show me?"he suggested.

Before I can answer, an arm wrapped around my shoulders and the person spoke."Sorry, but I am taking her home."Max said.

I looked up at him and rose an eyebrow."No you're not."I told him.

He looked down at me, his arm still around my shoulders."I am. Sam told me to."answered Max.

I was gonna say something else, but Tobias beat me to it."It's alright, Jessica,"he said and I turned back to him."I will see you tomorrow?"

I nodded with a small smile."Yeah, sure."I told him. He nodded and then turned around and walked away.

I turned back to Max and glared at him, as I removed his arm from around my shoulder."What was that for?"I asked, crossing my arms around of my chest.

Max stuck the arm I removed from my shoulders in his hoodie pocket, and used he other one to hold his bag on his shoulder."I just saved you. You should be thankful."Max said.

My mouth flew open."Saved me? From what exactly?"

He looked a little bored."From that creep."he told me.

"Creep?"I asked."Tobias is not a creep."I told him.

"Sure he isn't,"he said."That's why he isn't following you the whole day, right?"he asked. I remained silent."That's what I thought."Max said and starts walking away.

When he noticed I wasn't following, he stopped and looked back at me."You coming or what?"he asked me. I sighed and walked after Max, out of the school and towards my house.
