As Amy napped on her bed, Nicolette sighed and watched her. "Isn't she so cute when she sleeps?" She asked Ebony.

Ebony scoffed. "How tragic."

"What?" Nicolette flipped on her side and faced Ebony.

"She doesn't date. You'll never have a chance with her, you know."

Nicolette laughed. "What do you mean she doesn't date?"

"She's just being a good sport right now, you know, playing along with you. She doesn't actually like you though. She's aromantic."

Nicolette scrunched her eyebrows together. "Aromantic? How... How ridiculous! You're just making things up..."

"I am not! She really is!"

"You and your cousins... You're all so complicated!" Nicolette huffed and sat up. "I don't understand any of you. First, Edward acts like a creep around me, second, you're an emotional, hotheaded mess, and third, she doesn't fucking date!" Nicolette pointed at Amy, who was slowly getting up.

Amy rubbed her eyes. "Nicolette? Why are you shouting?" She mumbled quietly.

"She doesn't believe that you're Aro." Ebony flipped onto the other side and huffed. "And I think she's mad because you led her on."

Amy frowned. "Why would you tell her that?" She looked at Nicolette, who seemed hurt. "... Nicolette, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." She looked down. "I didn't think you liked me... I just thought that you were... Joking?"

Nicolette rolled her eyes. "Whatever. You should have told me in the first place that you didn't date." She opened the door and stormed out.
