(Y/N) POV

I was sitting in the chair in the living room reading a book on the effects of dark magic while Lance and Axl were playing some kind of action figure game. They argued about characters casting spells. Macy burst into the room looking for a hammer. The knights told her to settle the dispute, but the girl ignored them.

- (Y/N) you were with us all the time! It's true I'm right.- Lance said.

- I'm not getting involved in this. -I said, putting the book on my lap and raising my hand in surrender.

Macy came again looking for the hammer.

"Macy, tell Axl I should roll the blue dice, not the red dice!- Lance demanded like a child.

The girl sighed trying to suppress the attack of anger.

- I have no time! I'm going to be late, I'm about to meet my mom in Hammerin for a hammer throwing contest and I can't find my favorite hammer! - she said, leaving in frustration.

We were urgently called by the king to the castle because Queen Halbert Macy's mother had been kidnapped by some witch. As soon as we arrived, the king began to despair over his wife and Macy was devastated.

"We will save the Queen, Your Majesty.-  Clay said, interrupting the king's gibberish.

Macy sighed.- How could I fail so? 

- Macy, don't blame yourself. Robin put toothpaste on your vehicle. -Clay said, trying to cheer the knight.

- So that's why it smelled of mint everywhere! - giggled Aaron along with Axel.

Macy raked them with her eyes, growling. I poked the boy with my elbow and threw him a disappointed look.

- Take think, before you say something. If you don't want to get hit with a mace, from an angry Macy. Especially from her.

- Sorry, Macy. - both muttered quietly, looking at the ground embarrassed. 

- I understand, I understand, honey. The days have lost their luster since our queen ... was taken from us. Macy, I wanted to give you this for your birthday, but ... I think you will need it sooner. -said the king, hugging his daughter.

- What is it, Dad?- she asked.

When she said that, from behind the castle, Robin flew to us in a vehicle flying in the shape of a dragon.

- Go, daughter, knights and save my queen. -the king said.

Minute by minute, Macy grew more and more furious and unfocused. It made me laugh a little, but I tried to hide it. The guys were constantly arguing about the game they had played before, and poor Aaron looked at it confused.

I, who was standing next to him, crossed my arms and smiled slightly at them.

- Do they always argue like this? - I asked, glancing at Axl and Lance.

- If about games, yes. Always and everywhere. - replied Aaron with a giggle.

The knights rushed to save the queen and I stayed in Fortrex feeling that something might happen. And as you can see, I was right. Jestro and his monsters rushed to the fortress, most likely to retrieve Rogul from us. Ava was driving the Fortrex at full speed to escape the monsters, the jester vehicle was still on our tail, pushing the vehicle making it shake.

 I was barely keeping my balance, the Grimmrocs tried to stop Fortrex, and The Three Brothers were using their battering ram technique. Our headquarters shut down and opened the drawbridge.

- Oh shit.- I said, putting on the mask, drawing my sword and heading for the exit from the command center, Saber was with us at the moment.

- Come on, Saber! We have uninvited guests. - I said.

- Of course.- he said and we ran.

We waited in the training room, standing in front of the horn. When the monsters entered, they looked surprised.

- Do you know that it's not culturally entering someone's cottage without an invitation? -I asked, sword over my shoulder.

- And wandering around it without the permission of the host?- Saber asked, claws extended and ready to pounce.

We started to attack, I kicked the monster down, grabbed him by the legs and threw him at his accomplices, knocking them over. Saber jumped on one of the three brothers, grabbed his back, knocking him over and biting him. He screamed in pain as the other brother struck the lion with his stone gauntlet, sending him against the wall. I gasped, frowned under the hood, and used spinjitzu to drag a few monsters into them and knock them out. 

Unfortunately, two brothers were tougher, they knocked me out of the spin and also threw me against the wall. The gargoyles destroyed the force field trapping the rogul, took it and fled. I lay on my back and brought my hand to the communicator.

- Ava ... enemies are coming towards you, watch out. -I said, grabbing my sword, I pulled myself up and ran to the main room.

- Go, I...I will follow. -Saber said lying on his stomach.

When I got to the place of the clash, I found a strange sight. Some invisible force was beating two brothers and they, confused, attacked blindly. One was lifted up by force and held in place. This thing or someone clicked with their tongue with dissatisfaction.

- Not pretty gentlemen. Not nice.- the voice said, invisibility fading to reveal a white Anacondrai.

Pythor threw this monster at the other, knocking them both over.

- Pythor?! What are you doing here?!- I asked, running up to him.

I saw this amateur attack, I invaded here invisibly and ... I am helping you. - he said, shuddering at the word "help".

I stood surprised at this information. - Wow, you know... thanks. 

Suddenly, Robin arrived in robotic legs and turned on the disco, causing the two brothers to run away. One, unfortunately, took a sword-shaped pendrive. Me and the snake made a "WTF" face without saying anything.

- Should we worry? - I asked.

Ava, Robin, and Merlok looked at us.

- Maybe. -Robin said with a nervous smile.

- So, yess. -said Pythor with a hiss

When the knights recaptured the queen, what we all feared happened ... Clay turned into a monument. Which means me and Aaron are to be the new commanders. Me, Pythor, Saber, Ava Robin and Merlok looked at him until the knights returned from the castle.

- It's good that you didn't tell the king the truth. Reviving Clay isn't going to be that easy, but I won't rest until he's back with us.- Merlok promised.

Robin and Macy walked over to the monument.

"He ... he was ... my hero."- Robin said sadly.

Pythor took a breath. - And it happened ... -he said, and began to sniffle with tears in his eyes.

- Pythor are you... crying? - I asked.

He shook his head and pulled out a handkerchief, God knows where.

- It's not just a wrinkle cream that got into my eye ... of course I'm crying! What did you think! -he said blowing on a handkerchief.

- ...Who is that snake?- Lance asked.

- Humble. I am Pythor. P. Chumswortch. Nice to meet you knights.- the snake said, pretending he wasn't crying and straightening up.

They just looked at him weird.

- He saved us from two of the three brothers. And em... I don't mean to be rude but... could you already... "-Ava said.

- But of course, young lady... I will leave already.- he said bowing, before Macy left.

She shook her head in disappointment.

Me and Aaron were in the training room fighting each other. He was riding a hovershield and firing a crossbow at me while I deflected his arrows or dodged and then shot water to hit him. In the end he got confused, I took advantage of it, I shot a huge ball of water at him, knocking him off the target to the ground.

- Everything's all right? -I asked as he was still on the ground.

- Im alright. - He said.

I walked over to him and looked at the knight with a raised eyebrow.

"I just see... okay, I can fell that you are not yourself and I think I know why." -I said, walking to the side and sitting cross-legged next to him.

- Listen.

"Because...you're worried, that Clay has turned to stone and we have to replace him... right? - I asked.

He sighed, as he rise to a sitting position.

- You are right, Buttercup, I am worried that we cannot replace him with dignity. - He said.

- I know I have the same ... but you know we're in this together and we'll handle it as always. - I said.

"You are... right again, I bow my head to such great wisdom. -he said,  he said, lowering his head.

I laughed at him.

- Yeah, now call me...The Great, Wise (Y/N). -I said, playfully.

We started to laugh, falling on the floor.

- However, I prefer to call you Buttercup. -he said and his humor returned.

- Why exactly Buttercup and not, for example, as they usually call me (N/N)?

- Because they are beautiful, delicate and sometimes dangerous like ... you. Besides, where I come from, they grew a lot of them and me and my siblings. Mostly my sisters, but let's go with it, we used to go there and make various bouquets and crowns. - He said.

I blushed at, that statement and felt shy. Suddenly someone coughed.

"Hey lovebirds, are you going to stop with these tacky things? -Saber asked, who was looking at us with a faint anger.

I cleared my throat, shedding the blush as I stood up with the boy.

- Need something Saber? -I asked.

- Yes...Axl made cupcakes and maybe you'd like to try them.- the lion suggested.

"Oh yeah ... sure.- I said as I left.

Unfortunately I didn't notice the smug look and victorious smirk that Saber sent to Aaron, before following me.

The archer looked at the lion with deeply furrowed brows, then growled, got on the shield and flew on it somewhere deep into Fortrex.
