3rd person POV

(Y/N), Clay and Saber roamed the dense wood in search of Jestro and his army. Despite two days of wandering, they did not come across anyone. Saber started humming, which made Clay nervous. The boy sighed.

"Will you stop?! -he asked.

Saber paused for a moment and looked at him.

- I can not stop. We've been walking for two days now, looking for a jester, but I'm humming because I like it that way.- he said and began humming.

The knight growled and looked at (Y/N), who was walking next to him, looking around.

"Can you stop your lion?

(Y/N) didn't answer, just looked around with a frown. Clay raised an eyebrow and clapped the girl on the shoulder. She gasped and looked at the knight.

"Are you okay? 

She shook her head.

"Just like that...it feels like something is watching us.- she said, standing still.

The lion and Clay stopped as well, starting to analyze their surroundings. Saber began sniffing the air in search of something or someone. The cat popped it's claws and snarled.

- Can you feel it? We are not alone here.  -he said.

(Y/N) and Clay looked at each other, as he pulled out a weapon. They felt a slight movement of the ground beneath them.

- Can you feel it? - asked (Y/N).

-What? -Clay asked.

- I think there's something underground. Don't budge. - instructed.

Suddenly, a tar-black constrictor with stone spikes soaked in purple mist, red eyes and a steel breastplate jumped out of the ground. He wrapped his massive tail around the yellow ninja, as Clay and Saber ducked.

- I've been waiting for you for a long time. Monstrox greets you affectionately, "-he said with a hiss.

(Y / N) growled and looked at the snake.

- Are you here to pass it on? Pathetic. - she fired with venom.

The snake tilted his head  to the side.

- Who of the two of us is the more pathetic. Buttercup? -he asked mockingly.

Saber gasped and frowned.

- Only Aaron calls her that!-  he shouted, as Clay slammed his sword to the ground, making her thud.

The snake released the ninja in surprise and returned to the underground.

- Run!- the lion ordered, as the tail drew him underground.

- Saber?!

Suddenly the snake threw it back to the surface a few inches from them. He landed on his stomach and get up with a startled scream. The snake was heading towards Clay. He was about to hit him with the sword, but the snake was faster. 

He jumped out of the ground behind his back and wrapped him his tail around him, trying to strangle him. (Y/N) tried to hit him with her sword, but the reptile grabbed her tightly by the throat and lifted her off the ground to his height. Saber , hit it hard on the head busy snake with Clay's stone shield, stunning him causing him to release the knight and ninja.

-... Good hit. - Clay said between breaths.

The lion smiled.

- Thanks. But since he was waiting for us, I think the knights fell right into the trap. Come on, let's get out of here. -he said and they started to run.

=Skip time =

Clay, (Y/ N), and Saber arrive at the scene of the battle between the Nexo Knights and the Stone Army. Clay and (Y/N) rushed into battle immediately, destroying the stone army en masse. Their eyes glowed yellow as like the possessed had destroyed monsters, turning them into dust. The witch who was standing by the rock, watching these two, smiled. 

While Clay was taking care of the Krakenskull, (Y/N) saw the departing witch and followed her. Soon Clay followed them. They surrounded the witch so that she could not escape. They attacked her with swords, but she used some kind of spell that immobilized them.

"We can't... move...- Clay began.

"What have you done with us ?! -(Y/N) demanded.

The witch did not answer, but started to laugh. She looked at him with a victorious smirk and walked away. When she was gone, she revoked the spell on them. They stuck their swords into the ground and fell to their knees, the knights have come to them. Their eyes returned to normal. Macy went to Clay and Aaron to (Y/N).

"It's okay, Clay, the enemies are gone. -she said, putting her hand on the knight's shoulder.

Clay growled shaking and his eyes glowed yellow.

- Are you okay, Buttercup?- Aaron asked

She growled and looked at him with yellow eyes and spoke in a hoarse voice in Ninjagian language. He withdrew carefully. The knights looked at each other confused.

"What did she say?- Aaron asked.

- She said "Leave me alone" in Ninjagian language.- Saber said, eyes wide open.

The knights looked at each other with concern.

- Are they really on our side? -Lance asked.

Macy walked over to them.

- Well, I think so, but I am not sure.- she said in a whisper.

Saber hummed and looked at them mockingly.

- Now you can whisper, hm?- he asked and started walking towards Fortrex.

They looked at each other and then at Clay and (Y/N), who were still kneeling on the ground, growling.
