Chapter twenty-eight
(Y/N) POV
Lying on the ground, we watched a group of stone monsters pass through the valley. Clay waited impatiently for us to attack them.
"Now... now.. or maybe now?- Clay asked.
- Let them go into the middle of the valley.- Aaron said, placing a hand on his shoulder.
Axl shook his head. - Come on, there are only ten of them!
"Yeah, because we destroyed most of his army. - Lance said.
- Not only that, Lance. We don't know where Jestro and the Cloud of Monstrox are. -I said without looking away from the monsters.
- Exactly. So now we have to take the prisoners, okay Clay? -Aaron said to Clay, but he was gone, because he started to attack.
- Holy shit, Clay!- I said and ran after him.
- So much for the prisoners. -Macy said.
Lance and Axl nodded, while Aaron growled in frustration and ran after us. Clay destroyed all the monsters in almost five seconds, before we could stop him.

I was standing at my desk packing my things in my bag and Saber was sitting on the bed looking at me.
Until we know where the cloud and Jestro are, we both decided that we would go look for Aya or find a trail. We got the idea that this wizard sent us here for a reason, and it might have something to do with her. I sighed as I wiped the sweat from my forehead.
"I guess that's it.
- Excellent. What are we moving? - asked the lion, jumping off the bed.
I nodded and we left the room. As we were almost exiting, we saw Clay eavesdropping on the knights' conversation from the command center. We looked at each other and walked over to him. I put my hand on his shoulder, so the knight jumped up and turned to us, drawing his sword.
- Hey, hey, hey! Relax, it's us.- I said, backing up.
Clay sighed and put down his sword. - It's you.
- Yes, that's us, hey.- Saber said, smiling awkwardly.
We stood silent for a moment until Clay looked at the bag on my shoulder.
- Are you going somewhere? -He asked.
- Yes. Me and Saber thought until we found Jestro and the Cloud we might go looking for Aya. Our guess is that this wizard in Monstrox's body didn't send us here for no reason, and maybe it has to do with her.
He nodded, and we heard Merlok's voice from outside the door.
"Magic curses are a very tricky business. Of course we want to fix him and turn him into the old Clay, I'm really working on it.
Clay felt sad, and I and Saber looked at each other. Then Aaron spoke up.
"But for now, you have to keep your eyes around your head, because he can explode at any moment like a bundle of fireworks. -Aaron said.
At that, Clay frowned and growled, folding his hands. I shook my head in disappointment and looked at the floor sadly. Then I heard Axl.
- And I like the new Clay out there. At least I don't have to do my worst work.
Saber growled angrily at the words. Me and Clay looked at each other, before walking towards the exit. The knight activated the drawbridge and we headed towards the meadows. We were in deathly silence, until Saber cleared his throat.
"So...where do we start? -he asked, looking at me.
I sighed, as I look into the ground.
"I have no idea ... maybe we can go to Pythor and ask him, if he can help us. After all, he knows Knighton more than we do, so he can be of use to us. -I suggested.
Saber snorted and shook his head. - I'm on my way.
"And who knows this land inside out, huh?- I asked, raising an eyebrow.
The lion pondered until his gaze fell on Clay. He smiled at me and nodded at him.
I looked at the knight as he stared straight ahead. He noticed we were looking at him and raised an eyebrow.
- What?
- Question. Do you know this land well? -asked Saber.
- I know. I have saved this kingdom more than once. What?
- Well, I have a suggestion. -Saber said, standing in front of us, stopping us.
The knight only raised an eyebrow.
- Help us find Aya and she may restore you to your former state. What do you think?
Clay was silent, eyes narrowing. - No.
The lion widened his eyes. - What?! Why?
"Because no.- he said and began to walk away.
"It's a pity... we'll definitely die on the way, or else we'll die at the hands of Jestro. -Saber said, trying to convince him.
He growled at the lion, looking at him seriously.
- Saber! Don't make him, if he doesn't want to, then we'll do a great job ourselves.- I said, starting to walk.
"But what if the guy, who hunting you catches us?
I widened my eyes and looked at the lion in panic. Clay paused and turned.
- Saber! You weren't supposed to say that! -I said.
The lion just chuckled nervously.
- What a guy?- Clay asked.
I swallowed hard and looked at him with a nervous smile.
- No one. - I said.
Clay gave me a warning look - (Y/N).
-... Okay, I'll tell you.... Do you remember the incident at the museum when I fell out of the portal? When I was about to escape from the building, a guy in Monstrox's body stood in my way and we fought for a while. He grabbed my collar and lifted me up.I took off his hood and saw a face made of dark energy. He told me that soon I would become nothing and that no one would help me, especially you. And then he created a portal and dropped me into it.
Clay stared down at the new information in surprise, until he sighed.
- I won't help you look for this Aya, but from now on you stick to me. Understood.- he ordered, looking at us coldly.
Me and Saber looked at each other a bit anxiously, but nodded our agreement. He nodded and turned away, starting to walk. We followed him.

Clay told us he had gone out to find peace and led us to the... desert. After a moment's thought, he decided to send a message to the knights informing them about it.
- That is why I left, so that my anger wouldn't interfere with our joint mission....or face.
- Hey, Clay. Can I say something?
- Sure. - He replied and moved away from the small camera.
I stood in front of the camera and looked daggers at the knights.
- You complete idiots! Can't you guys really not be able to whisper!? Seriously, if you want to talk down to someone, then not at full volume! And second, what were you guys thinking!?
- Sorry. We didn't know, he could hear us. - said Macy, looking down.
- Aaron and don't think that I did not hear the comparison! I'll give you, here fireworks when I get back! You better be afraid of me and Clay too. Goodbye.
Clay turned off the camera and looked at me impressed.
After that, he stood in the field and created stone carvings and began to talk to them about peace, but after a while he destroyed them, then went to the next ones and repeated this action over 300 times. Me and Saber sat on the rock, we looked at him with pity. I sighed as Clay roared in frustration.
- Destroying it won't do you any good.- I said, walking up to him.
He just growled and looked at me.
"What would you do ?!"- he asked.
- I meditate to regain my composure. - I said.
"Or to find out about the future!"- exclaimed Saber.
-... Yes, that's it too. Maybe you will try? - I suggested.
The boy took a deep breath before nodding his head. I smiled and walked over to the rock.
- Just sit down, close your eyes, calm your thoughts and focus. - I instructed him, sat down and started meditating.
3rd person POV
As the ninja and knight meditated, Saber looked at them with a raised eyebrow. He snorted and looked at the clouds in all shapes. He felt a light wind on his mouth and looked at the horizon. He noticed a whirlwind of dust and leaves that crept up to them. As he approached them, he dispersed into two little lines? That circled them.
- What the hell?- he muttered to himself.
He started to hear a soft whisper from the wind saying: "Siblings" "Good and evil" "It's time" "High in the mountains" "Master is coming" "Aya" "Temple"
- What is...?- he asked himself anxiously
The lion rubbed his eyes with his paws, thinking they were hallucinations. Clay screamed, opening his eyes and falling off the rock he was sitting on. The knight got up and dusted himself off.
- Not alone? Strength?... What's that supposed to mean? "-he asked himself.
He shook his head, looked at the yellow ninja and lion, who looked around anxiously.
- Are you okay? - he asked the lion.
The big cat gasped in fear and looked at Clay, then breathed a sigh of relief.
"It's just... I had a... bad dream. -He said.
The knight nodded and looked at the yellow ninja.
"She's still meditating?" -He asked.
The lion looked at her.
- No ... she's asleep. - He said.
Clay nodded, climbed onto the rock, and began to meditate again. The lion shook his head and decided to take a nap.

(Y/N) woke up and came off the rock she was sitting on, while Clay was talking to the rocks.
The boy got up from them, cut them in half with his sword and his eyes glowed yellow. After the monologue finished, he looked at the ninja, smiled slightly, then turned and began to walk away. (Y/N) and Saber looked at each other in concern before following him.
