Chapter thirty-two
(Y/N) POV
The conductive wind was getting faster and it was hard to keep up with. The temperature in the mountains didn't help either, it was cold. The dragon began to slowly fade away as I was losing strength. I gasped and glanced surreptitiously at Pythor.
- We have to land, I'm losing my strength. Soon the dragon will disappear and we will fall to the ground.
Pythor looked ahead and his eyes sparkled.
- Look there! The wind landed on the mountain ledge. - He said pointing his hand in front of him.
I looked in that direction and smiled under the hood. I flew there quickly and cancelled the dragon upon landing. I landed flawlessly and Pythor fell on his face. I giggled at the snake which made him growled as he got up. I looked at the rock wall and raised an eyebrow. The wind circled us, then dispersed and disappeared. We looked at each other questioningly.
"Okay... what now ninja?- Pythor asked.
I studied the rock wall and my eyes fell on the small, etched inscriptions. I stepped closer, dusted off the dust with my hand, and studied the inscriptions.
- See, there are some inscriptions here.
The snake crawled up to me and looked at the inscriptions. He hummed, wondering.
- It's a different language. Not Ninjagian and not Serpentine.
I hummed thinking. A lamp came on in my head.
- Maybe Merlok can handle it.- I said, turning on the communicator.
- Merlok! Nexo Knights!
I heard gasping and sighing with relief.
- (Y/N)! Finally! What's going on?! -Saber asked on the comm.
- Im alright. But I have a problem. I am high in the mountains and I stand in front of a rock wall with inscriptions in a different language. Merlok, could you translate that? -I asked.
- I could try.
"Great, listen carefully. - I said and started giving him the words.
For a moment there was silence, until Merlok sighed.
- What is clear in the world is hard to find. But good will come when the master awakens. Beware because the power is too powerful for ordinary mortals. Only a person who is blessed by the light has access to the Temple of Peace. Only he can tame the great, mighty beast that guards the place of peace. And when that happens, the destined will be confronted by the master.
Me and Pythor stood in silence, anxious. Pythor swallowed.
"Did-did he say the great beast?
- A man blessed by the light?
I shook my head and cleared my throat.
- We will do it. Hold on as long as you can, Nexo Knights, we'll be back with help.
- Of course! / Sure. / We'll be waiting. / - they said.
- (Y / N)!- Aaron shouted.
- Yes?
"Watch out there, okay?- he asked hopefully.
I smiled. - Of course I'll be back before you know it.
- I hope for it.
I gasped as I was shown the image of Clay breaking free from his stone body.
- Saber!
- What's happening?
I smiled evilly. - Hit Clay on the head for me, when he comes back.
The lion laughed. - Of course it is. Good luck.
- Thanks. - I said switching off the communicator.
I looked around the wall again and saw a handprint in the rock. I looked at my hand and put my hand on it. My hand glowed yellow and the rock parted to reveal a corridor. Me and Pythor looked at each other and went inside. The further we walked along the corridor, the darker it got. I summoned fire in my hand to illuminate our surroundings.... I saw a light in front of me, maybe the end of the corridor!
We ran forward. I was right, it's over, we saw a great chamber before our eyes. It was huge, supported by stone columns on the side walls, lined with cobblestones that were flooded with water. In the center of the room stood a tree with lush pink leaves, the trunk entwined with roots and ivy vines. There were also a couple of corridors on the side walls. There was also a hole in the ceiling that illuminated the surroundings.
A/N: The illustration is not mine.
- Woah ... but beautiful. -I said, going deeper into the chamber.
- Yes ... something amazing.- Pythor agreed, crawling after me.
As we approached the tree, torches on the walls caught fire. We looked around confused. Pythor gasped, eyes widening.
- Hmm... (Y/N)? Since the walls have eyes. -he said fearfully, looking to one of the corridors.
I looked in that direction and saw a pair of blue eyes staring at us out of the shadows. We heard low growls and massive footsteps. A huge dragon emerged from the corridor, with sword-sharp claws on all four legs. Spikes from head to tail, which were also on the wings. We swallowed loudly, standing still.
A/N: The illustration is not mine.
The dragon stood proudly, looking down at us, his teeth stretched out. Pythor screamed and stood behind me as the dragon roared. The dragon stood on its two hind legs and fired fire at us. I managed to create an energy shield and protect us from it. I looked at the dragon with a determined look. When he stopped breathing fire, he stood on all his paws and snarled at us. I let go of my shield and took a bold step to the beast. The dragon snarled at me malevolently as I stepped in front of him. I took the mask off my face.
I pulled my sword from behind my back and tossed it far to the side. The dragon became confused, tilting its head confused. I put my arms out in front of me and walked calmly closer.
- Easy, dragon ... easy. I'm not here to hurt you... I love dragons... they are the most beautiful creatures in the world... Come on... slowly.
The dragon slowly lowered its head towards me and took a step closer.
"Come on ... good dragon ... good, very good dragon ... don't be afraid.
The beast tilted its muzzle to me and began to purr curiously. I stood calmly in front of him and extended my hand to him so he could smell.
"What a very nice dragon ... brave, mighty great dragon.
The dragon sniffed my hand then put his forehead against my hand rubbing against it. I smiled slightly as the dragon closed his eyes and purred. He opened his eyes, stuck his tongue out, and licked me. I chuckled at that. I glanced surreptitiously at Pythor, who was staring at me with his eyes wide and his jaw gaping.
"H-How did you ... do that? -He asked.
"Simple ... I love dragons.- I said turning to him.
The beast looked at the snake and growled at it, wrapping its tail protectively around me. Pythor backed away.
"Don't worry, dragon ... he's with me. He's nice, and he won't hurt you either.
The dragon grunted as it approached the serpent, which was retreating all the way to the wall that blocked its escape. Pythor groaned in fear and closed his eyes, waiting for death. But the dragon licked him too, to Pythor's disgust.
"Yuck ... It's better ... than death. - he said, shaking off saliva.
The dragon came over and started rubbing its head against my chest. I sighed and looked at him.
- How long have you been here for?- I asked, not counting on an answer.
- Do you have any name? -I asked.
- Clevertus.- the woman's voice replied.
I gasped, recognizing the voice, and tears flooded my eyes. I turned and saw the face I'd been wanting to see for months.
"A-aya?- I asked in a whisper
The woman smiled a little and opened her arms. I approached her slowly as if it were an illusion. Once I knew I wasn't dreaming, I ran over to her and hugged her tightly.
- I knew! I knew you were here! I knew it! -I said, crying.
"And I knew you would find me, my student. - she said.
I laughed as I stepped back from the hug and wiped away my tears. We were holding hands. I frowned, wondering.
"But ... what are you doing here? In terms of why are you in this land and not in Ninjago?
The woman looked at me sadly.
"You probably know about this man in the body of the evil wizard Monstrox. Well, I fought him one night when he suddenly attacked me. He pulled out some kind of ball that took my power and exhausted me. I fell to the ground and he came up to me laughing darkly. I looked at him and he whispered "Long live the darkness" and with his hand he triggered a portal that dragged me in. I landed here, but I was too weak to get out. Clevertus was trapped here too. He took care of me and we waited. I started to have a vision that you too came here with Saber and a hope was born in me that you would find me.... You also found out that you were born here, right?
I nodded my head with a slight smile. She looked at me with a smirk.
- And that someone caught your eye. Confident, risky, green knight ~
I blushed deeply and rubbed my hand over my neck in embarrassment. She laughed at me and looked at Pythor.
- Ah Pythor! It's you. -she said coming up to him.
- Hello Aya. It's nice to finally meet you in person. - he said.
They shook hands and she looked at me with a smile.
"Well then ... maybe we're getting out of here? Monstrox and Jestro awaken the Stone Colossus and attack Knighton. We have to help the knights.
"Of course, but first I have to tell you about your skills, that will help us in the fight.
I nodded my head. - Let's do it quick. Before it's too late.
She nodded and led us to one of the corridors. Clevertus followed us.

3rd.Person POV
Lance's pig Hamletta entered the training room, where Clay was stationary. She walked over to the stone Clay and sniffed him. Suddenly, Clay's statue glowed a blue glow, and the piggy ran away in fear. Clay began to move slowly as the light shattered the stone. He fell to the ground, panting. He got up, looked at his hand, which was glowing blue. He shook his head and walked wearily to the main room. There, Saber, Merlok, and Ava gaspedat the sight of him. Clay walked over to the table next to Ava and leaned against it. They looked at him as if he were a ghost, and Clay smiled.
- Hey?
They shook their heads as they regained their concentration.
- Dude! Clay! You are alive!- Saber said, running up to him, suddenly gasped and ran out of the room.
Clay raised an eyebrow, as did Ava and Merlok.
- Impossible. How did you break free? -Ava asked.
"My magic wouldn't be able to free him.- Merlok said.
- But mine is. -Clay said.
- It's amazing! Your magic is very powerful.- Ava said.
Saber returned with a broom, dragging it across the floor. He walked over to the blue knight, stood on two legs and hit him on the head with the handle from her. Clay screamed and grabbed his head. Saber dropped the broom and smiled.
- Ah! What is that for?!
- It's from (Y/N), she told me to hit you when you get back to normal and... I did.
He rubbed his head with his hand, and Ava and Merlok laughed at him. Robin came and gasped at the sight of the knight.
- Clay, you're alive! -he said and ran to them.
- Yes, I'm back.
Robin looked at Merlok.
- Our plan is ready!
- Great! Since Clay cannot fight, he will help you in the final stage.- Merlok said.
- In what? -he asked confused.
Robin walked over to the crate and took out a very long cable.
"You must take this cable as far as the Merlok's library.- he said when handed it to him.
He nodded, was about to leave, but stopped and turned around.
- Where (Y/N)?
Saber walked over to him. - She's fine, apparently she went for some extra help.
The knight smiled and ran out. Saber looked at Merlok.
- How did I not notice their similarity? -he said and ran after Clay.
The wizard smiled proudly as he watched Clay and Saber run to the library through the screen.
