Vex's p.o.v.

Coming to the café that dad's at, I see hem. He smiles, standing and pulls me into a hug. We sit, ordering bagels and orange juice. "So, what did you want to talk about." Dad asked. "I have a boyfriend." Dad chokes on his orange juice, sputtering. "Say that again." He said, wripping his mouth. "I have a boyfriend and is like for you and uncle to meet hem. Tonight if it's alright." I ask. "So you really found hem, you found the one." Dad asked. "He makes me feel alive. Freer than I've ever been. He's my heart, soul and body. I love hem." I say. "I have no objection, but I hope you don't mind a double date." I cock an eyebrow. "One of the ninja is bringing his girlfriend." I smile, than nod. "See you at five." I say, dad nodding

Kai's p.o.v

I'd be lying if I said I was nervous. When asking Vex to come meet the others, she wanted me to meet her dad, uncle and abopted brothers. Vex intraines her arm in mine as we walk in the direction of the Bounty. When we get under it, I turn to Vex. "Who's your dad." I ask. Vex starts laughing, doubled over in laughter. "My father is Garmadon, uncle is Wu. What is it." She asked as I pale. "My sensei's are your father and uncle." Vex covers her mouth. "You are so dead." She said. I grab the ladder, climing up, pulling Vex up beside me. "That is the understatement of the century." I say. Opening the sliding door, I call out "Hey we're here."

"Dinning room." I hear Cole call back. Rounding the corner, I block the door. "She bail on you." Jay snickers. Stepping aside, Vex enters. She goes right to Garmadon, hugging him. "Hello father." She says. 'I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm so dead. I'm fucked.' I think. "Dude, you okay." Cole asked. Vex pulls from Garmadon, turning to me. "Dad, you already know hem, but, I'd like to introduce Kai, not as you student, but as my boyfriend." Vex says, standing beside me. I don't back down, not even when Garmadon stands before me. "So, think your worthy to date my daughter." Garmadon says. "Have been for five years. You can beat me, throw me, threaten me. I don't care, I'll fight with every fiber, every breath till I join the departed realm. Till than, I stay by Vex's side." I said. Garmadon smiles, a real genuine smile. "I'll hold you to that. Come let us eat." Garmadon said, Wu sitting down. We fix our plates, I stop mid bite. "You three are her adopted brothers." I say, looking to Cole, Jay, and Zane." Yep, and as eldest, I'll woop your sorry butt if you hurt Vexon." Zane said. I look at hem "How will that go down, fire vs ice." I say. Vex leaghs, a beautiful heavenly leagh. She nuzzles my shoulder, I kiss her hair. Zane gets up, going to the kitchen, he returns with a cake. Setting it down infront of me, eighteen candles are on it. "Happy birthday, Kai. Thought I forgot." Zane said. I blow the candles out, taking a knife and start cutting it. Getting my plate, I go to eat it. Lifting the plate along with the fork full of cake, the unexpected happens.

Splat

It takes a minute to register that I had cake slapped in my face. Looking to Vex, she's leaghing her butt off. She sees me, stops leaching and bolts, I'm after her in a second.

Cole's p.o.v

Nothing can beat that, I'm still leaghing as Kai chases Vex down the hall. She shreaks, not in pain but laughter. Kai had grabbed her, held Vex down and started tickling her. "I give, I give." She says. Kai kisses her before letting her up. Coming back to the table, he wrips his face, frosting still in his hair

Vex looks at the clock, getting up. "Work." Kai said. She nods, Kai gets up, putting their plates in the trash. "I'll take ya." He said, grabbing his spare helmet and keys. "Thanks love." Vex says, they leaving. Looking at dad, he's smiling. "Kai maybe a hothead, but he knows how to treat a young lady. He's great for her." Dad said. The four of us nod as Kai's motorcycle fires up, it fading.

He comes back half an hour later, holding an envelope. He slides it to dad, who picks it up. Dad opens it, doing a double take. "These are tickets to the underground dance group, VIP and back stage. How." Dad said. Kai shrugs "Been saving up, thought we could go. I gave one to Vex, she'll meet us there." Kai said. Wu walks in, looking at the tickets. "It'll be fun to go and relax, go change, we're all going." Wu says. We get up, going to change. Me, Zane, Jay, and Lloyd all have our normal clothes on. Kai comes in, fixing the coller of his leather jacket. Wu and dad walk in, both in their respective Gi's. Going to our vehicles, Kai jumps on his motorcycle, dawning his helmet. We head out.
