Back in space

The ninja were attempting to get the bugs away from them using their elemental powers. "These things just keep coming and we are going nowhere!" Kai said."Nya, there's no way we're getting off this planet. Any last words, my darling?" Jay asked."How about, it was always you Cole. I will never be able to live without you." Cole suggested, much to Jay's annoyance."Guys, it's not the time for that! Can't I care about both of you?" Nya's voice was heard. "Now, just don't give up." "My dad was right, I should've never given up my Golden Power." Lloyd said. "We could've all been home. Now the Overlord has all he needs to become the Golden Master!" "Don't say that, I was wrong. You must trust your friends, trust yourself." Sensei Garmadon's voice was heard."Search for the power within. And then, realize the greatness within each other." Sensei Wu advised.

"He's right. We can get off this planet." Lloyd said."What about your green power, Lloyd?" Kai asked.Zane turned to face him. "It's too far, he'll never be able to keep his focus for that long."Cole sighed. "No one happens to have a build-your-own rocket kit handy on them, do they?" "That's it!" Lloyd exclaimed."You have your own build-your-own rocket kit?!" Jay asked, clearly surprised and shocked."No, but we can make one." Lloyd began to explain as he continued. "Arcturus may not fly, but she'll give all the metal we need and Zane knows the solar system better than anyone!""And Kai's fire could weld the missing parts." Zane added.

"Cole's man power can do all the heavy lifting." Kai explained."Jay has enough electricity and nerd knowledge to make a half way believable spacecraft." Cole stated, looking over at the blue ninja. Jay let out a laugh before frowning a bit. "Hey! Hey, this could actually work!" "Then let's fire this thing up and see if she'll fly!" Kai declared. In what seemed like a few short minutes, the ninja managed to build a rocket that was big enough for the five of them. Inside, Lloyd made sure everything was as planned.

"Boosters?"

"Check."

"Electronics?"

"Check."

"Navigation."

"Check."

"How are we holding together there?"

"A bubblegum in a wish."

"Let's go home guys."Zane connected himself to a tube, activating his power source. Soon, they had lift off as their rocket headed back to Ninjago.

Back in New Ninjago City

The citizens had no idea what was coming...not until the ground started to rumble and shake violently. And with three loud thumps...the Over Lord in his most powerful state were finally revealed. His golden armor was a giant mech with three sharp and huge spider-like legs, and more golden spikes were formed around the Over Lord."One minute, I was trapped in Garmadon, and then I was trapped in the Digiverse, the next...but no more! I am free; bow down!

Not very far, Jinmay and her companions were at the rooftop, staring at the overlord with their terrified look. "that's the....Overlord? He's huge." Vatu said tremble. "C'mon we gotta go down there and help the citizens."Jinmay said. "As you command, mistress."Rava said. As the three split up, searching every streets and saving the citizens from the overlord's treachery.

Back in Space

They were getting closer and closer."Hold on, we're almost there!" Cole instructed."My power source has reached critical mass. It appears my unlimited energy is in fact, limited!" Zane explained."Critical mass? You mean, it's gonna blow up?" Jay questioned."Don't worry about me, I must use my power to hold our vessel together!" Zane said."No way, Zane. Entering the atmosphere means we have air!" Lloyd stated."No, it means we're gonna burn up!" Jay argued."Listen, with just enough air, we can now support our elemental shields. Let's try it guys!" Lloyd told them as he summoned his forcefield. The others did the same, causing the rocket to explode into pieces. The ninja were now traveling back to Ninjago with the help of their elemental shields.

Back in New Ninjago City

On the streed, Jinmay saved two citizens from the nindroids and told them to seek safety. As she was about to go until her eyes is filled with hope when she saw the ninja as they fly over the city. "So, they did return. I'm glad."She sighed in relief. 'I told you they would come back.'Vatu said with glee. 'Ok Vatu Rava let's keep up the fight, let's hope the ninjas beat the overlord.'I told them telepathically. 'RIGHT'Vatu and Rava said in unison. As she continued roaming the streets.

She's not the only one she saw, Pythor and Overlord saw them as well. "No! They can't still POSSSIBLY be alive!" Pythor said."They won't be for long," the Over Lord added, and then he shot a golden beam out in every direction of the city. And it seemed to move all of the buildings together, creating a barrier.

"I hate to be a bummer, but we don't have any parachutes!" Cole cried. "Yeah, but friends and family make a good alternative!" Kai joked."I am one step ahead of you. Kai, fifty-six degrees, north twelve east!" P.I.X.A.L. called up to them, and Kai followed her directions as she was controlling the ninjas' rides, and he landed in his jet."Zane, you're up!" "Don't worry, I got it!" Zane called and he landed in his helicopter.Cole and Jay were next as they saw their mech and car, and so they landed in their own respective vehicle. And Lloyd created his green motor-cycle again. And then they all met up with Senseis Wu and Garmadon in a high-tech care from Nya's Samurai-X cave.

As the Ninja reunite with their allies, Cyrus tells them that they should head for the Temple of Fortitude, a place where the Overlord and the First Spinjitzu Master battled long ago. He claims there's a shield at the place, so the Nindroids won't harm them, and there is something he wants to give them that may help them save the world.

The Ninja begin travelling to the temple, but pause when they see the Golden Master's path of destruction. It wasn't much long before they finally got over the buildings, and now everyone was in the city. But Nya flew off course when she saw an elderly woman about to be attacked by a couple of Nindroids, and she flew down, picked them up, and then threw them back down from a tall height. But she didn't look when the Over Lord tossed a truck at her Samurai-X suit, so when she was hit, she was knocked out, and she plummeted; somehow surviving when she hit the ground."Nya's hit! I'm going to go get her!" Kai announced on the radio."No, I will!" Cole and Jay suddenly grunted on the radio in unison."If anyone goes back, our probability of reaching the temple will fatally diminish!" Zane pointed out."Zane, this isn't about numbers. THIS is about family!" Kai shouted angrily."You guys go to the temple. We're the closest to Nya, so WE'LL go get her!" Lloyd added."She's on the corner of Bolovard, Lloyd! And-!" Kai said when he found Nya's location, but then a semi-truck was thrown, knocking them all out of their vehicles.

It was the Over Lord who threw the semi, and he suddenly landed at their spot."If it isn't the infamous ninja! You don't stand a chance, now!" the over Lord said, and started to create a giant, golden Spinjitzu tornado of his own. But back with Nya, General Cryptor had found her, and he was walking up to her."Let's see how interesting our 'date' will get when you can't use your big suit to protect you!" Cryptor said dryly.

Garmadon and Wu watched as the ninja AND the Over Lord and his golden Spinjitzu were getting closer to the temple. Luckily, they got to the temple, and the Wu and Garmadon closed the huge temple door behind them."Now, Cyrus! Activate the shield!" Garmadon shouted, and with that, a bright, dome-like shield of light began to quickly rise over and cover the temple....and it stopped the Over Lord's golden Spinjitzu. "NOOOOOO!"

Meanwhile, Vatu was roaming around to find other citizens who were in trouble since Rava and jinmay are busy helping as well until he tripped over. As he got up, he saw Nya wasn't faring so well against Cryptor as she tried to kick him, but only fell in the process."You kick like a little girl...oh, that's right! You are one!" "Oh yeah?! Well, how's this for a little girl?!" Nya asked angrily, and just began to rapidly punch Cryptor, only to be knocked down again. Vatu saw what happen as Cryptor was about to grabbed her, Vatu run towards the evil nindroid and kicked him on the face.

Cryptor got up and looked really angry when he did that. "didn't anyone ever tell you it's rude to treat lady." Vatu said sarcastically as he help nya on her feet. Vatu said, "it's good to see you again. How was your day?" "Oh y'know just kicking butt and saving everyone. And you...?"Nya said. "oh just same old, same old....C'mon let's show and beat this bucket of bolts offline." Vatu said as they charged at Cryptor.

The Over Lord continued to trash the city, and it sent all the people running and hiding."Yes, the people have all lost their hope! And they will bow down to you, Masssster!" Pythor cheered with the Over Lord, as the said lord was making his way to the Borg Industries building. And when the Over Lord was close enough, his armor began to shoot out web-lines of gold the attached to Borg Industries and to the building around it.

Later, Vatu and Nya were still failing epically when fighting against Cryptor as she was thrown against an alley wall along with Vatu. Cryptor then walked up to her body, and grabbed her shirt her the collar and picked her up off of the ground while he put his mettalic foot on Vatu's chest armor."what is that perfume i smell; fear," Cryptor growled."Well, ACTUALLY its 'damsel-in-distress'! but i don't think it suits me." Nya shouted angrily."You think you can mock me like this?" Cryptor asked angrily."Oh, but of course. Doesn't everyone you meant do that? I mean....i don't know what to say to you"Vatu answered. Cryptor stared at him and said, "what do you mean by that?"

Nya notice Vatu's eye moving almost like he's looking at something. When she turned to know what he was looking and saw Mindroid walking by...also was within hearing range. "what he mean is that? Even Mindroid knows you're 'short' of a hard-drive," Nya said when she had an idea what Vatu meant. "ooh she's got point y'know." Vatu agreed with her. "Mindroid is nothing but scrap; I wouldn't even let him tighten my bolts! I've met fax-machines with more intelligence and reliability than him!" Cryptor protested, the whole time, Mindroid heard him, so the little droid walked up to his genera, and grabbed his attention by tapping his shoulder.But when Cryptor turned around, he was greeted by a fierce punch by Mindroid."How dare you insult you general?!" Cryptor asked angrily, and just threw Nya away also releasing Vatu to fight Mindroid...and so they used that opportunity to get away. Vatu turned to Nya with a laugh, "way to go, turning them to argue each other." Nya said politely, "Yeah, right now i got to help the others. I hate to say this but i need your help one last time. Y'know for old time sake."Vatu thought about it and nodded at her as they head to where the ninjas are.

Time Skipped

"The shield! It's down!" Cyrus cried, interrupting the moment. And he was right as they looked out of the temple's windows to see that the Nindroids has finally broken the temple's shield.But then Nya and Vatu came in for the rescue with one of the Nindroids' attack vehicles, and she fired a missile at the oncoming Nindroids, destroying them all. "Go get 'm, guys" Nya said softly. Vatu destroyed the nindroids with his katanas as he turned to where the ninjas is. "good luck ninjas coz this will be our last." Vatu said softly as he turned to nya, waved goodbye to her and left.

While The Ninja go into Ninjago City, where they manage to make it to the Golden Master, who has created a massive spider web around Borg Tower using the Golden Power, Rava and Jinmay united as they looked around they're still too many people. JImay said, "i don't think we won't save everyone on time." Rava assured, "do not worry Vatu send some rescues." "uh..what rescue?" jinmay asked until she heard an unfarmiliar voice behind them. Turns out to be Scale and the other serpentines."People of Ninjago! Follow me to the ssssssewers where it's ssssssafe!" Skales said as he emerged up from a man-hole, and the citizens all fled to the nearest man-hole.

"The snakes are on our side? Wow, Vatu you never cease to amaze me!" Jinmay exclaimed.They looked at each other and nodded."Alright, we'll help the Serpentine. Rava take one side of the city. I go solo, got it?" jinmay explained. They swiftly began to search for any people who were still in the city.But, in less than five minutes, JInmay had sensed something wrong. She tried calling Vatu, Rava came back to her. "Is something wrong?" Rava asked. "I sense something wrong...i have to called Vatu" Jinmay said. 'you called?' Vatu asked.

'Vatu where are you?'

'I'm at the building rooftop, you better come here quick.'

'Stay where you are we'll be right there.'

As she cut off and turned to Rava."i had a trouble feeling something might happen, c'mon." Jinmay said which has the same feeling before. Rava disagreed with her and quickly head to the rooftop.

Quickly, they head over to the rooftop where Vatu is and looked around."What's going on? Did something happen?" jinmay questioned and looked around. Looking up, she spotted Zane the Overlord's gold. JInmay sense that his spiritual is severing, Her eye's widened when she realize what he was doing. They continued to watch as Zane proceeded to freeze the Overlord "No Big Brother!" Jinmay cried out and began to run towards him but was stopped by Vatu."jinmay, We have to get out of here! Now!" Rava explained."No! I'm not leaving without him!" jinmay cried out and tried to run past Vatu but was held back by Rava. She thrashed around in his grasp, desperately trying to free herself. "LET ME GO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WE HAVE TO SAVE HIM!" She yelled."Jinmay! We have to move before you get hurt. Come on!" Rava told her calmly but firmly. Jinmay didn't listen to her and continued to thrash around.Vatu let out a frustrated sigh before forcefully carrying jinmay on his back and head for the door.

As soon as they entered inside, Jinmay had calmed down and had gone silent. She closed her eyes and desperately hoped that Zane would survive. But deep down, she knew that chance was slim. Soon after the explosion, the city streets and allies all became coated in thick ice. And that included the Nindroids, but then the ice broke and destroyed the evil robots. Jinmay turned her attention upward to see the roof turn to ice. Everything became silent as they came out also Vatu saw the ninja, and the Sensei's survived and climbed out of the manhole. Not only that he felt a despair coming from them. JImany looked around to see that everything had turned to ice. JInmay tried to feel Zane's presence but nothing, she knew that what she saw in her vision did happen to him. Vatu and Rava went to her who was heartbroken. Jinmay felt a pair of arms around her and turned to see that Vatu was hugging her, trying to comfort her. She then looked down towards the ground, letting a tear escape. But instead of one, Jinmay began to sob. All she was thinking was that she was unable to protect the one she cared and also who was a part of her. She had...failed. As she released from Vatu arm, both of them looked at each other with sad expressions except Rava who was not feeling it.

"We should've went after him..." Jinmay stated."Mistress, we did that so that it was for your own safety." Rava explained calmly."My safety? My Safety? What about Zane's?! He should've been our first priority! We should've been there to help him and the others! This never would've happened if we were able to get to him!" Jinmay barked.

"Well we cannot change that now can we? he's...gone..." Rava said quietly. "Rava , What's wrong with you? Why do you think that? Don't you feel that big brother's sacrifice make you feel sad? it's our fault that he's not here right now. " JInmay said.

With that, Jimay turned and walked away without a second glance towards her spirit guardian. Rava wanted to follow her but Vatu stopped her. "we should give jinmay some space for now. "

"-But then I saw that technology invented new problems. Devastating problems..." Borg said. It was the day of Zane's funeral. And all that could be said was that...no one was happy."And then, a nindroid named Zane saved us all." He continued. "He was the perfect balance between us and technology. He taught us that life...should be a balance...Our city will find its way again. But this time, with Zane as our compass. With that, I give to you...the Titanium Ninja." Borg said as he pulled off the sheet, revealing a statue of Zane.A familiar cry was heard and the ninjas looked up to see the falcon. It flew in and landed on the statue's shoulder, lowering its head in sadness. "So...what happens after this?" Nya questioned, breaking the small silence."I don't know..." Cole replied."And I don't care. Right now, it's all about honoring Zane,"Jay said in sad whisper."And now, Kai will like to speak for those who...knew him best." Borg announced.

Kai walked up in front of the crowd and spoke."Everyone wondered what powered Zane." Kai began,"I don't know if we'll ever know, but I'd like to think it was brotherhood. Becuase he powered me. And he'll still power me as his memory lives on. Ninja never quit and Ninja will never be forgotten. Wherever you are Zane, you'll always be a part of us." He finished.At that very moment, it began to lightly snow. Which caught everyone's attention. The snow was familiar to them...there was only one person who was able to create snow. The others stood up and walked over to Kai.. Soon, the remaining ninja, Nya, and the two Sensei's were standing in front of Zane's statue. Staring at it with sad expressions,

the snows fall softly down onto the city...making everyone somehow feel Zane's presence all around them.

From the distance, Rava and Vatu notice it as well. Rava said curiosity, "strange the sky is crying." Vatu asked, " yeah why would it....?"They notice the ice spirits (particles of Zane's spirit) was coming from the alley. They followed it and saw jinmay using her spiritual power, gathered all the ice power in her cupped hands. Rava and Vatu eye's widened when they reliaze she was making the snow. "DUDE, WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?" He notice jinmay has gone spiritual state and wasn't listening as the particles formed a circle around her. Rava said, "She's trying to bring back Zane. Mistress, stop you may have the power to heal injuries but reviving won't work, it might drain your energy." She wasn't listening so Rava went to stop her causing the circle to break and the particles into Borg's Tower. Vatu went to them and notice one of jinmay's hair went streak white. JInmay huffed and said, "what did you stop? I was about to bring him back." as she tired again but felt exhausted. Rava said to her, "Mistress, if use your power to revive him, your life may be in danger. You cannot bring back what was left in the past." "why do you have to stop me from saving him? I would have bring the team back together, if you hadn't stop me zane would still be alive.." Jinmay cried.

"I'm sorry Mistress, But our priority is your mission and your safety..."Rava said. "that's it....that's all you ever think of, protecting me. Vatu and i have suffered the loss of our friend for the sake of the city and you just stood there calmly as if nothing happens. You know what?" Jinmay said. Vatu and Rava looked at her. "I have failed my mission. I have failed everyone. I'm...incomplete and i don't think i'm not ready for this." Jinmay said with a sad expression as she head to where the memorial is.They stared at her before bowing Vatu's head in sadness and Rava in disappointment for they have indeed..failed.

During the funeral, everyone were heading back to their homes and work. As the ninjas and the are heading back as well. Lloyd glanced back at the statue then went with them. While the ninjas are going, lloyd walked passed by a mysterious girl (who happens to be jinmay). He halt and turned around to see a girl standing in front of the statue until he recognize the silver scarf as she left. Lloyd mumbled when he know her, "Jinmay?" he went back and head towards the crowd trying to follow her. As he made it, he looked around and see that she's gone. He thought it was just his imagination as he went back but turns out jinmay was among the crowds and she didn't notice him as she left with a tear in her eyes.

Up at Borg's Tower, Pixal was looking out the window. Her eyes were glowing a light blue.

"You are Zane. A droid like me."

Pixal looked confused, She turned and made her way to the monitors.

"What does Zane stand for?"

"I stand for peace, freedom, and courage!"

"Your hardware is outdated and your processor is slow and incompatible. Why are you so different?"

"We're all different. But, I don't feel so different around you.."

"Zane? Is that you?" Pixal questioned, staring at the screens. Pixal then turned and ran out of the room. She ran through the building until they had made it to the factory portion of the tower. Inside, Pixal gasped and smiled when she couldn't believe what she was seeing."Are we...compatabile now?"

(A/N Somehow jinmay's power did revived him and yet she did not realize it. Instead of bringing him back, she transfer his spirit inside the computer system. Wonder what will happen to ninjas and jinmay? Find out on the next update.)
