SPY FOR A SPY

Rava's POv

It was the next day and a banquet was being held for the remaining contestants. I watched the kabuki girls with narrowed eyes, I didn't trust these people at all. "Try the horned wasp eggs. Delicious!" Chen exclaimed. Lloyd took a look at the...food with uncertainty. "Uh...I think I'll pass." "Oh, lighten up, Green Ninja." Chen said. "This isn't a trick, this is a feast to celebrate the eight of you making it to the second round."The kabuki girls let out a laugh. I sense that not many people would try the food, but no one really cared. I watched secretly as the masters discuss their current standpoint, while Griffin Turner states he attempted to enlist the master of sh, but he refused. Even i don't too because i should be focusing in finding mistress and Vatu insted of being part of an alliance. But there is something else in mind instead, Rajah. I wondered myself; why did i get the feeling that he had something to do against me? Almost like he was testing me somehow. While i was thinking, i felt a vibe like someone is staring at me. I looked around to see who it was, it wasn't elemental masters or the kabuki girls then i realize as i turned to left side; turns out it was Clouse who was staring at me suspiciously. Our eyes met coldly, like blades clashing each other as we glared each other. As the fortune cookies are brought in, Chen demands to have them brought to him while Clouse looked away from me and whispered to Chen.

"It has come to my attention that there are rumors floating about that I am stealing everyone's power. I am." Chen announced, causing shock to the contestants."But it's all for this staff." Chen added.The kabuki girl thought that he was talking about them and did a little show."No, no, not you staff. I meant my real staff." Chen told them, causing them to stop. The doors at the back opened to reveal Rajah holding the Staff of Elements. He brought it over to Chen and handed it to him before backing away. "The Staff of Elements!" Chen said, holding the staff up. "It holds the power of your fallen foes, and soon it'll hold all but one." The sight of the Elemental Staff in Chen's possession caused shock to the protectors. They began whispering to one another in shock. I was surprised at first but i saw through his plan; he did that just to weakend the alliance, what a clever trick. I turned to see Jay states the Ninja now need proof to fully convince everyone until i notice he was being pestered by a kabuki, revealing to be Nya.

She explained that she was spying for a spy in the alliance. At first, the Ninja questioned why, then Nya explained that why else would Chen and Clouse know about the alliance. The Ninja spoke too loudly, and Clouse looked over causing Nya to moved away."Do you know that servant girl?" Skylor questioned Kai. Unfortunately, Kai lost his cool and stuttered."Know that girl? Uh, of course not! Heh, jealous?" "My fortune says that Cole found your friend and is going to break him out. You're lucky this didn't fall into the wrong hands."

"He's found Zane. I can't believe it! It's good to work with people you can trust!"

" If you call trusting people who gave strange looks "good"." Jay said. He began to question who the spy could be. I noticing Lloyd glaring over at the master of shadows and narrowed his eyebrows with suspicion. I had a feeling things don't go accordingly.

Vatu's POV

Back in prison cell, I've been in here for how many days, The cultists sometimes come to check on me while kabuki ladies came and fed me day by day. I stumped back on the wall wondering if i ever get out of here. I yawned at first, feeling a bit sleepy since i was having trouble sleeping due to the dream i saw. I couldn't understand at first. Why is my dream showing me these past events? It's like its telling me something but what. There's so many question to be answered. So, i fell asleep again to see what happen.

The next afternoon, Lonewolf grabbed a wooden spear also a net. He head for the other side of the river where there are fishes, that is far from the village. He usied a wooden spear to catch it and a net for carrying it. He was standng in a river waiting for the fish to strike. He waited until he sense someone beside, a farmiliar aura. "Hey there, coming to visit" Lonewolf said. Out of nowhere, the anacondrai appeared beside him. "Still sense me, huh" Kiba said, standing at the riverside.

"Of course i'll always recognize your aura everytime you went invisible, anyway how was your tribe?"

"oh that, it was fine but i did not told them about coming to see you. I told them i went for a stroll. Beside, my kind won't take me seriously about last night. I don't want anyone see both of us."

"Bummer, I guess your kind and mine is very hard to live in. It would be better if they could just sit and talk each other out"

" I agree *Nod* Um....Lonewolf what are you doing?"

"Fishing....Instead of using fishing rods, we use this to catch a fish. *Lonewolf saw the fish and quicky strike it* Gotcha! I caught a fish for lunch. *He placed it inside the net* Now to catch another one."

Lonewolf was about to find another one when he notice Kiba was in the river beside him. "That looks interesting....so that's how you survived through the wilderness."KIba remarked. "Our tribe usually caught preys and we consumed them."

"Really, hey wanna try? Maybe you might learn how to defend or survive. *He loan him the wooden spear* this how you do it? If you see a fish, strike it but you must be patient and still when it come closer to you"

Kiba stood there, watching th fish. Lonewolf whispered, "Wait for it....." Both of them saw the fish is heading towards them slowly. "wait for it....." as the fish gotten closer to them. "Now!!" Lonewolf exclaimed. As Kiba quickly strike it but missed, He moaned and Lonewolf encourage, "That's ok its your first, just try again." Kiba took a deep breath as he tried again and again, but didn't caught a single one.

"Arghhh! WHY .....CAN'T......I.....CATCH ......IT" Kiba said frustration as he jumped up and down in the river. "ok ok it's cool so you better calm down before your gonna---."Before Lonewolf was about to finish it until he slipped on the rocks and fell onto kiba behind which made it a splash. The two got up and their kinda wet. "Hey, your alright?"Lonewolf asked when his eyebrows raised when he saw Kiba caught a fish in his mouth. He spit out and stared at it then turned to lonewolf. "Uh....Look at that, i caught a fish." Kiba said dryly. Both of them stared at each other and began to laugh together.

Later, Lonewolf roasted the fishes and give some for Kiba which he was delighted to eat with him. While they are eating, kiba requested if he wants to see the stars again which Lonewolf was happy to obliged. They both went up the top mountain and watched the sunset. While waiting, They began to talk each other about their kind of how they survived and lived in a way. When it became night time, Lonewolf pointed out the star formations again. Kiba was happy to see it again, lonewolf saw his smile and it was his first time seeing his smile. Both of them stared at the stars silently. "you know we should do this more often."Kiba smiled. "yeah, it was fun to have a friend for a company."Lonewolf said. Kiba turned to Lonewolf, "I'm .......your friend."

"Of course remember i decided to be your friend."

"friend huh. Um...where's your favourite star?"

"You mean....Our favourite star."

Kiba turned away bashful when he said we which made Lonewolf chuckle and pointed the ophiuchus star. They both stared at their favaourite star. 'a man and a snake.'Kiba thought when he turned to him. 'i wonder if he is ever to be trusted....I don't trust him yet, i have to be sure if he's not tricking me. My tribes told me to observe him whether he is worthy. That's why i did not told him.'As they got down from the mountain, Kiba was about to leave until LOnewolf stopped him.

"I forgot to give you something. *As he gave a dead boar to him* Here, you can have it."

"But that's for your dinner."

"it's ok your my friend and don't fret i have another one inside, i just caught them this morning hopping you might visit again. And beside you don't want your tribe to find out, they might think your hunting it"

He was surprised he gave him his food, No one has ever done that before so it was very thoughtful for a huntsboy."I guess...I'm coming to visit again" Kiba said as he took it from him. Lonewolf waved him goodbye. While kiba was slithering back his home, He wanted to tell the details about him to his tribe but deep down he felt a connection just like before.

Starting that day, Kiba began to visit him again. Lonewolf taught him everything he knows in exchange for Kiba to teach him about defensive (since we know anacondrais are mighty warriors). Everyday, They often played together and also visit  to see the stars. Somehow,Their bonds has become more tighter and stronger than ever. Its like their friendship has become closer. Kiba somehow was begining to like him, even though he was observing the huntsboy but none of that matters to him. Kiba's curiosity has vanished, and began to spend time with him.

Not much, Lonewolf kept on going to the village for the trade (don't worry Kiba wasn't there, so he told him to stay back) he began to buy food and warm blankets. Many villagers notice something different about him before they wary of him but now he seemed to be happy, not only that he has grown a lot. After days gone by,  , he came back looking younger than before and feeling energetic than ever since Kiba visited him. He felt he wasn't alone anymore as long as he had Kiba with him. While walking, he notice others slayers entering somekind of lesson meeting. He went in and saw Gowli teaching those slayers the tactics, offensive attacks and the differences of a serpentine. Which Lonewolf despises of what Gowli taught since he has no honor. Although, deep down he was afraid who knows something deadly will happen to his friend. when lesson was over, the huntsboy turned to head back until he was blocked by two boys who were teased before.

"Hey Gowli looks like this huntsboy was listening to your lesson" the boy with a hat said.

Gowli appeared behind him and took a step forward to the huntsboy; eye to eye. Gowli said, "Ohhh, a huntsboy...listening to my lessons. how nice of you to drop by."

"*yawn* to be honest with you, your lesson is kinda boring and a bit unappropriate. Why do you despise serpentines so much?" Lonewolf said.

"Don't you know anything, kid? Well, let me tell you something. you should know that the serpentines were the ones responsible of the destruction that befall us a long time ago. (A/N Probably from the "curse of the golden master") Soon, they might also unleashed the great evil. We all know that serpentines are pure evil and they should be punished also pay for it." Gowli said with fury, clenching his fist. Lonewolf notice his eyes is filled with anger, anxiety and the most scary of all; bloodlust. Now he knows why his father saw in him, all he saw is nothing but elemination with no heart and no mercy. As lonewolf lowered his head and asked, "But what happens if they are innocent?"

"What?"

"Think about it. What if they are just like us and did no wrong? Will you spare their life?"

There was silence at first until Gowli began to laughed at his questioned. He glared at Lonewolf's face, "There is no such thing as that. You think we're just like those monsters, pathetic. No serpentines are innocent. I won't stop until every serpentine are vanquished." Lonewolf shuddered by his words, he wanted to turn his face away but instead he stared at him with a brave look. Gowli's eyebrow raised that he wasn't showing fear, lifted his head and questioned, "Well well, your not showing fear at all. the villagers were right, you have changed since you stayed in that forest. I wonder how that happen?"

Lonewolf blinked at him, he knew Gowli was onto him. He made a promise to him that he should not tell anyone. "Well...Let's just say i realize that i'm not alone in this world. As long as the forest, the sky and the earth are with me. That's what gave me the courage to live and who knows you might make friends with someone who shared the thing" Lonewolf gave him a confident smile as he left. They watched him heading back to the forest.

That's what gave me the courage to live and who knows you might make friends with someone who shared the same interest" Lonewolf gave him a confident smile as he left. They watched him heading back to the forest. Gowli gave a curious look and thought, 'strange, i don't sense any fear from the huntsboy. He used to be weak but yet he seems so strong and confident. 'He turned to the two boys and command, "You two, i want you to observe his action and make sure you keep an eye on him from the distance. There something suspicious about him in the forest." the two boys look at each other and nodded at him.

In the forest, Lonewolf came back with so much stuff he has. Kiba appeared in front of him looking satisfied to see him again. As they head to the top of mountain but this time to see the blue sky. Lonewolf and Kiba staring at the horizon in a dramatic way. Kiba turned to him, "It's so nice to see the sky since we climb to the mountain and exploring forest everyday. How long has it been when we met each other." Lonewolf chuckled, "A week, it's strange it's almost seem like yesterday. Do you remember that?"

"Yeah, you've grown a lot, Lonewolf. Getting to know you and your life was the best instead of fighting. I guess my tribes are begining to understand more about you."

"Wait.....you told them. I thought they did not know."

"The truth is, my tribe told me to observe and know all about you. But spending time with you has me thinking that your a good human. I've been reporting to them all about you and they wondered whether you are to be trusted. "

Lonewolf stood up and faced in front of him. "Well, i guess they're taking an interest of me. Listen, I'm not the only good human in this world i mean yeah sure but....Not all humans are evil, there also good people somewhere out there or inside them. It takes time to get used to someone who were different, despite the appearance."

Kiba looked up to him and said, "you know you make a good anacondrai warrior."

"Me please i'm just a huntsboy who protects the forest and fights for honor."

"Hahaha of course and i'm glad your the first human i've ever met. Before i'm scared of humans but now I think i'm begining to taken a quite liking to you."

Lonewolf stared at KIba and felt a happiness inside him, he turned around and looked up in the sky. His heart throbbed almost like he's about to cry, it was the first time anyone felt for him. Kiba notice his back turned and wondered what he was doing. Lonewolf said, "I forgot something today is the aniversary of my father before he passed away. He was greatest huntsman and every year i'm suppose to recite the song to him."

"Recite the song? For what?"Kiba asked

Lonewolf smiled over his shoulder then turned to the view where you see mountains and forest. He closed his eyes and began to sing.

You stood always smiling, ever quiet, ever tender And a lost child always frightened i remember

That you came and found me blinded by unshed tears The tears we cry are echoes

That tell what tomorrow can hold, and i wept in your arms, and we heard

bells ring out across the land ringing peace at last to your heart my dearest friend

and now the look that you gave me blooms and will live on through the tears in us all without end

As he finished his song, Kiba notice the song is sad and touching. He relize he sang for his father who was now in the sky. Kiba felt kinda guilty that he's been living alone in the forest all those years. Not only that he saw lonewolf's tear running down on his cheek. Kiba went up too him and place his hand on the shoulder. Lonewolf turned to him and smiled at him as he wiped his face. Kiba chuckled, "your a crybaby, y'know that." "Hey, i'm not a crybaby. They're just....tears of joy."Lonewolf said with a sad-happy expression.

Not very far, Lonewolf didn't know that two boys who were sent by Gowli went in the forest following for him to see what he was hiding. The two boys saw lonewolf walikng down the slope and he was talking to someone. They went over to the other side to see who it was and theirs eye widened when they couldn't believe their eye.

The 1st boy said, "What the?! Is that ancondrai?"

The 2nd boy said, "I can't believe that hunts boy is with a rare serpentine. I heard they were the mightiest warrior, i haven't seen one of those before. No wonder he didn't tell us about it and looks enthusiastic."

"I don't know i mean look at them, they seem to attacth together almost like their friends."

"hello pretend to be friendly. I see that serpentine must have try to manipulate him into believing it and make him tell about our secrets. We should report to Gowli, I'm pretty sure he'll be so furious to see the first ancondrai."

As the two boys left the fores, Lonewolf sense something as he turned around to see it was nothing. KIba asked, "Is there something wrong?" "no, coz for some reason i felt like we're being watched. Must be my imagination" Lonewolf stated. While they are heading through the forest, they began talk about something else. "you know that song is quite nice" KIba compliment. "gee thx my father sang that song to me everytime i felt lonely."Lonewolf said. There was an awkwar silence between them which made it complicated."Hey, Um..."Kiba said meekly. Lonewolf turned to him waiting for his senetence.

"Lonewolf Perhaps, we could live in harmony; like how the First Spinjitzu Massster—and serpentine—imagined it to be, hmm? Just like that ophiuchus star" Kiba continued...and he actually smiled at Lonewolf.

"Who knows but you can be the first one to tell if I have dreams of this generation of humans...and Serpentine...living together...in peace," Lonewolf said as he smiled back, "Hey if we might talk each other out and explained to them maybe we could make that possible?" "I would like that," Kiba said with a nod. "You know something between you and me, i think this is the begining of our beautiful freindship."KIba added.

As they reached the end of the forest where they are about to depart. They stood each other as lonewolf slowly lift his arm and formed a fist in front of him. Kiba stared at him confusely. "Um...What are you doing?"

"Well, if you want our friendship to remained tight i thought we do a fist bump. It's like a sign of friendship. Give it here, Friend"

Kiba looked at him as he also raised his arm and formed a fist as well. They smiled together as their fist crashed each other long and both of them left. It was still sunsetting, Kiba was about to head back happily thinking of lonewolf for being a friend until a blackness covered him. KIba muffled and tried to struggle to be free until he heard a malicious voice.

"Well well, i guess lonewolf did spotted rare anacondrai. Its a pity that you couldn't lived to see him. He tricked this little one to be friends in order to let their guard down. I should thank him tomorrow when he comes to the village."

The next day, Lonewolf waited for kiba to come and visit him but he didn't came. He thought maybe he might come around so he decided to buy some stuff by trading it. While he was in the village, he notice many people are gathered in the square. He went over there to see what it was until he dropped his stuff and gave a horrified look of what he saw . An anacondrai in the cage, looking trapped and felt miserable. Beside the cage was Gowli himself along with two boys. Lonewolf thought, ' how...how did this happen? When did Gowli...?"

Gowli announced, "People of this town, i brought you the most dangerous and mightiest of all serpentine; the anacondrai. What you see here is a hatchling, it was found in the forest trying to find their way to sneak its way. Once we find its tribe, we will end this nightmare." Some people were applausing and cheering for his triumph in capturing. Lonewolf clenched his fist until he heard a word that will make him regret. "yes yes but i wouldn't have done it without the huntsboy."Gowli gestured at lonewolf which made him come up the stage. "That was good plan by tricking the hatchling into coming here. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't find it. I knew you have potential to be a great slayer than a hunter." he added. Lonewolf couldn't believe what he said. All that talk wasn'true, he turned to the poor hatcling which made him furious. "you...you lie to me. All the things we done was all a lie all along so that you can turn my backs on me."Kiba said.

"What...no that's not true....i wasn't...." Lonewolf tried explain "you promise me you won't tell anyone. They were right all along, you humans are nothing but pack of lies. I should have never trusted you." Kiba turned away from him which made lonewolf's heart shattered. Their friendship between them has become a living nightmare. Gowli said to him by placing his hand over the shoulder, "Chin up, huntsboy. I'm pretty sure you'll be rewarded for the job well done. Here take this coins and enjoy it." he handed a bag of coins. "Tomorrow, you will all watch as he will become my trophy to prove those serpentine once and for all who is the strongest and fiercest of all." Gowli announed which made everyone cheered louder. As they took away the cage and everyone followed him except lonewolf who was standing there motionless which made him dropped the coins. There was silence as he lowered his head feeling hurt that his friend whom he trusted has turned to stone. Lonewold looked back to where kiba was taken, "But I ....didn't tell anyone. How can i let this happen?" Lonewolf said dryly as he felt terrible. As the image became blurred caused by a sound.

End of dream

I was about to see what happened until  I was awake by the alarm. I heard 2 or 3 guards running past my cell. I wondered what's going on when one guard stopped told to another.

"Cole and that metal guy escaped."

"Quick, search the area they cannot escape."

As they left, I said with an estactic look, "That mus be Cole and Zane, they must have escape. Yes!" I tried wriggling my hands but still holds the grip. I groaned and complained, "But what am i going to do now? Since they escape, what's taking Rava so long to find me?"I stumped back impatiently.

In Kai's Quarters

"Like I said, I ain't joining your little alliance!" said Shade, "I'm going for that staff." "This isn't about the alliance- it's about finding out who's the spy." said Lloyd. "excuse me, may i ask why is it i'm here too?"Rava asked who was leaning beside the door. "so that we have to be sure whether your not a spy so No one leaves this room until we find out who it is." Everyone looked at each other, which made Rava staring at them with a cautios look.

"Why are you looking at me, greeny? I'm not your spy!"

"Perhaps I can help." added Neuro, reading Shade's mind.

"I don't know who, but someone isn't who they really are."

"How do we know we can trust you? Maybe I should use your power and see inside your head." added Skylor. "I'd like to see you try, Power Hoarder." Neuro said

"This is what Chen wants! For us to fight- but we don't have to! There has to be a more civilized way around this!" Kai said. "There is. Everyone who's every word for Chen has the Anacondrai tatoo on thier back. Find the tatoo- find the spy." said Garmadon. "Anyone object?" added Lloyd. Neuro walked over and turned around. No tatoo. "Can I go now?" "Not until we check everyone. Who's next?" "Let's get it on!" said Griffin, doing the same. No tatoo

Nya's POV

"You better tell me they've caught the escaped prisoner!" said Chen. "Sadly, master- not yet, but I've found worse news to report. Someone has stolen the spell!" said Clouse. "Do you need the page to do the spell?" "Of course not- but, if it gets into the hands of the ninja, the fighters would know we've lied and rise up against us." "Then we must find that page! Oh-! Kabuki paint- gets everywhere!" "Hmm, I have a feeling a spy may be well in our midst." "A Kabuki servant? Well, well..." "The spy may have the page still on them. Guards! Search every servant in this room!"

"What is that racket?!" asked Chen. "It's coming from the island!" "It's coming from the spy! Find the signal- find the spy!" "You heard him- search the island!" said Clouse, pointing at the guards, "As for you- stay put!" "Dareth- what have you done, now?!" I asked. Clouse looked back at me, but I was just dancing, or, whatever Kabuki do...

Lloyd's POV

"Well, only 3 left." I said. "I hate to do this, but it's your turn." said Kai, looking at Skylor, "Can I see your back, please?" "How could you not trust me?! I came to you with the fortune cookie, a-" Kai stopped Skylor. "I'm sorry, but we all have to know." "Wait-! Where'd Shadow go?" I asked, looking around. "He disappeared through his own Shadow!" said Jay. "There he is! Get him!" said Griffin. "I ain't your spy- and I ain't your friend, either! That staff- will be mine!" I tried to shoot my energy ball at him, but he disappeared and a painting fell on Jay. "AAH My leg! Get Kai off of me!" Dad tried to grab onto Shade, but he disappeared again. "You don't cast a long shadow, old man!" Shade was about to ran away, until he stared at Rava who wasn't stopping him almost like she intended him to escape.

"It was Shadow- he must be the spy!" said Neuro. They ran to Jay and lifted the painting off of him. "OOow..." moaned Jay, trying to get up. "Skylor! Look- I'm sorry." "Don't. If you still think I'm the spy, watch me walk out that door." said Skylor. She revealed herself that she didn't have the tatoo. "What happened to our alliance?" asked Jay. "I don't know..."

Lloyd turned to Rava who stood there. "Why didn't you stop him?"he asked. "I was called here but seeing you in such commotion. It would seem your alliance is crumbling, I wonder how will you able to keep it together?"Rava said with a disappointed look as she went for the door.

Vatu's Pov

While i just sat there complaining myself, waiting for Rava to find me but she took so long to rescue me. I don't know if i ever get out or if she ever find me. However seeing my dreams is kinda terrible how that slayer guy tricked everyone even a hatchling into beliving Lonewolf betrayed him. I still doesn't understand why these dreams keep on showing me, but for some reason i need more answer to find out. As i closed my eyes and see what happened.

Glimpse of the past

Lonewolf is back in the forest, feeling miserable that a friend who once swore to never tell has lost his trust to him thx to Gowli's pack of lies. He sat there thinking what to do, he reached out the scale and stared at it. He gripped it and looked back towards the village. He stood up and gave a determine look. Even though the anacondrai doesn't trust him anymore but still he swore to himself to protect him no matter what. He was about to head to the village until he felt an aura behind as he was pushed and fell into a pit hole.

Lonewolf recovered from the fall and looked up to see two boys snickering at him. "Wha...what are you doing?" Lonewolf sneered at them. The 1st boy said, "Gowli was right, he knew your going to save that monster. Too bad, you failed."

"He's not a monster"

"hey, don't fret. We'll let you go once its over, tomorrow you will get to see anacondrai head hanging on the trophies. Pretty soon every serpentine tribe will know the fear of Gowli's wrath."the 2nd boy said with grin."stay put and relax in the pit"the 1st boy said as they left the forest laughing, leaving Lonewolf in the pit.

It was almost sunsetting and lonewolf still couldn't find a way out. He sat there feeling hopeless, if he doesn't save him then all will be lost. He was pacing himself until a shadowed loomed over him. He looked up to see that 3 figures were standing. One of them grabbed lonewolf on the arm and lift him out of the pit. Lonewolf felt that it doesn't felt like a rope, it looks kinda scaly when the moon appeared in the sky causing the light to shine through the forest. Revealing the 3 figures which made lonewolf turn into a shock. Three anacondrais standing before him and they look like soldier while lonewolf got up and stood there looking stunned.

One of them spoke, "How dare you caught one of our kind and now you will pay for the crimes you did." as they are about to raised their sword at him. "wait.....Listen...I didn't mean this to....happen," Lonewolf protest.

"Then, tell us why our source tells us that you let one of our hatchling to be a caught by filthy humans."

Lonewolf eye's widened, how does he know that?

"You cannot lie to us, you humans are wicked evil and try to destroy us. Now we will attack your village and reclaim what is ours."

Lonewolf was frightened at first but if he let the anacondrais attack the village, it will become an endless battle. He can't bear to see to it so he has to find a way to reason them.

"Your mistaken, i did not caught your hatchling. The one who caught it were called slayers." LOnewolf said, trying to hide his fear.

The anacondrais stared at him, holding theirs swords and one of them asked, "I heard about them. They think they are the mightiest warrior who ever slayed one of our tribes but you should know you humans musn't underestimate the anacondrai for that we are stronger. You let them capture him by betraying him."

"What no....I didn't beray him. Gowli made up that lie into thinking i was the one the one who is using him."Lonewolf said. One of the anacondrai said, "You think we would believe that."as he was about to raised his sword. Lonewolf couldn't find a way to tell them, even if he kills them it won't be a honor. To make them believe not humans are all evil that's when he thought of another way.

"Wait...what if i saved your hatcling in exchange for not harming the village?"Lonewolf proposed. He stopped and turned to the anacondrais then at lonewolf. "you.....will save him. You expect us to belive that so we can spare your life easily or tried to trick us."

Lonewolf lowered his head and try to think, to prove he is willing to. So he reached out his wolf dagger from his pouch. The anacondrai notice it and they think he's going to strike them but instead he dropped it on the ground and looked at the anacondrai.

"Your right humans are evil but not all of them. They're might be good people maybe one or two. It was wrong for us to claim you were the enemy, even though you attack the village it won't bring it back. They will still think your the enemy and stand against you. I know deep down you don't want to fight and i know it. That's why i lowered my weapon and prove to you i won't fight you or trick you."lonewolf explained. The ancondrais stared at him clamly almost though his word reached to them as lonewolf continured, "So Please let me save him for you in exchange i want you to stop this and go farther away as possible. That way the humans won't find you. If.....it doesn't agree with you then i'll shall face my consequences."He bend down his knees and waited for his end.

One of the ancondrai slithered towards him thinking he's going to face it but instead he picked up his dagger and placed it in front of lonewolf. Lonewolf saw his dagger as he looked the ancondrai who seems to be curious. "Rise human child. I never expected a human will face the consequence in order to risk it. Tell us...Why are you trying so hard to prevent this from fighting?" the anacondrai questioned.

Lonewolf stood up and gave a sympathetic look as brought out the purple scale and mentioned, "Because I made a promise that i won't tell anyone about it. And i did, I kept his word so that i can't bear to see anyone get hurt. But Gowli spout lies into thinking i did it to believe i betrayd him. that's why i wanted to respect that nature and maintained peace to my land."

The anacondrai's were surprised when he saw the scale. "You hold the scale promise."the other anacondrai asked. ".....from our kind"the anacondrai said besied him. Lonewolf nodded confuseld as the anacondrai said in front of him, "It was strange that you hold on to that with all your life but you should know making promise only works for serpentine. since your not a serpentine, you won't be affected by breaking a scale promise"

Lonewolf was speechless that he didn't knew that. Kiba must have said that so he can keep his word, he tricked him. He stared at the scale and gave a sad smile, "I guess Its true this scale doesn't affect me, still I want to save him. Even though he's different but I swear to him that i will protect him and that's what friends ar for"

The ancondrai went closer to his face as he asked, "You mean to say you willing to risk your life to save one of our kind, even it means betraying your kind" The words which strike into Lonewolf's chest made him feel guilty and undecided but still he wanted to bring his back. He took a deep breathe and looked at him with confident and determination. "if that's what it takes, i will never betray our friendship to the things we've been through. Becuase he's......my true friend."

The 3 ancondrai's eye widened, he never seen any human willing to risk it just to save one of their kind and calling anacondrai a friend. "So this is the huntboy he was talking about. He was right, your no different than the others yet your heart is pure and innocent. It seems you are speaking the truth. Very well then, if you manage to save him we will stand down and leave. but if not, we will act rationally" he said musely at last. Lonewolf smiled at the anacondrai as he picked up his dagger and put in his pouch. "I promise just like how i swear to him. if i did that, will you keep your word?"

"So be it. We shall wait then,"the anacondrai said. As the three of them disappered into the night. Lonewof turned to the village and clinched at Kiba's scale determine to rescue him.

In the village, one slayer was guarding the prison cell which hold the anacondrai. That's when a something roll over the slayers feet and unleashed a gas which cause the slayers to faint. Lonewolf crept out of the alley and sneak ed inside. He searched everyroom until he found Kiba in a cell. "Kiba!"Lonewolf exclaimed softly.

Kiba turned to see lonewolf at the cell. "YOU?"Kiba said, not looking delighted. "Don't worry i'll get you out of here."Lonewolf said as he was about pick the lock using a dagger and a stool. "So that you can finish me early and get the glory or led the slayers into following me to my tribe to finish them. Some human lies you are."Kiba said with venom.

"Hey i just came back for you, i'm not going to lie/ trick you"

"Really? Just like how you betray me and used me so that you want to know our weakness. That slayer said so himself."

"What! No that's not true. Don't believe what he said, he tricked you into thinking i betray you. He doesn't care about anyone, he only cared for his fame and glory."

"What? Then that means....."

"Yeah, you've been fooled. I did kept my promise *showed the scale to Kiba* that i tell no one. Somehow Gowli must have send someone to spy on me and knew about our secret. I've been holding on to it with all my life."

Kiba saw his scale and lowered his head, he felt terrible that he didn't told him about the scale. "Look lonewolf. There's something i wanna tell you.....about the scale."Kiba said sheepishly.

" I know about scale promise, i've met your kind and they explained to me."Lonewolf said to kiba which turned into a shock that his kind met him."Even though it doesn't affect me or pretend it. But still I swear i will protect you, just like how i kept your word. That's what friends are for."

Kiba stared at him with regret and said, "you willing to risk your life to save me after all the harsh things that i said to you and yet you still call me your friend."

"You may not trust me anymore after all the things we've been through, but i still want to be your friend again, just like before. After all, a friend never leave another friend side. It's just like ophiuchus star where man and a snake."

Kiba was toched by his words almost though his heart was warmth filled with good memories of the times they spent, it's like he sense a connection from. Their friendship was rekindled once more. As lonewolf unlocked the lock and extended his hand to the hatchling. Kiba stared at his hand and looked up to him with a smile as he grabbed his hand. They escaped from the prison house which triggered the alarm. Lights were on and people were awaken by it. The group of slayers relize that the anacondrai escape and ordered to find it. While they were searching, Lonewolf came out of hiding and kiba appeared behind him (A/N he used invisible so yeah). Lonewolf looked around to see both sides were filled with slayers. Lonewolf whispered, "If we get out of here, i want to ask. Do you trust me?"Kiba replied, "i do"

"really? You do? Even Now?"

"Yes. Ever since i met you, i never trusted you before but now you proven to me and came back for me. So i trust you."

Lonewolf smiled as he head to the other side and remove boxes that is blocking, reaviling a secret hatch much to kiba's surprised. Both of them went in and lies ahead was a secret passageway leading straight to the forest. When they reached outside, they were arther away from the village. Lonewolf head to the waterfall and saw it was destroyed by the two boys before he was trapped. Lonewolf sighed as he grabbed Kiba away from it. While they were escaping through the forest, Kiba notice lonewolf's sad expression that his home was destroyed and felt kinda sorry for him. "I'm....sorry about your home."Kiba said apologetic. "Oh thats ok. I can still built a home again."Lonewold said, trying to hide his depression.

" I was wrong about about you, Lonewolf. I had no idea that humans were capable of such nobility, courage and honor. It seems we do not have much time together."

"Let's not give up after I get you back home safely. "

As they made it through the forest, they stopped and turned to each other. Lonewolf said, "this is as far as i go. As soon as you get there, you and your kind have to go as farther way as possible. I guess i should head back and cover our tracks."

"Lonewolf, you don't have to live in the forest alone. You can come with me and stay in our tribe. My tribe will accept and welcome you, that way the humans won't hurt you and live alone."

"*shook his head* if i go with you, they won't stop looking for you. Beside we are in a different worlds. I have to stay and make sure the slayers don't find you before your kind can make your escape."

"But i can't bear to see you taking the burden and betraying your kind. I don't.....want that."

"Hey relax. Remeber the ophiuchus star, It represents unity. We're like them and someday I'll find you like before."

Kiba looked at him and smiled as Lonewolf smiled back at him. They were about to depart until Lonewolf felt a negative aura coming behind him. "Watch out!"he pushed the hatchling when an arrow strike passed his arm. Lonewolf squealed in pain as he clutched his arm. "Lonewolf!"KIba said as he tend to him. "it's ok, it's just a scratch. No big deal."He said to Kiba. The figure came out of the shadow which made Kiba shuddered in terror. "There you are, you little rats"said an eerrie voice.

Lonewolf knew whose aura it is, he turned to see it was Gowli who is holding a crossbow as he tossed it away. LOnewolf wondered how he found them, Gowli saw his reaction as he reached out a dagger and smirked. "Y'know kid, you shouldn't leave this carelessly while you escape. I knew you would be here along with it."He tossed it beneath his feet which made Lonewolf realize that mistake. He lifted his arm and pulled kiba behind him. "Kiba get behind me"Lonewolf told him. "Kiba? is that what you named that monster. Hah pathetic."Gowli mocked. Lonewolf gritted his teeth as he glared at him, "He's not a monster and don't you dare call my friend pathetic."

"YOu and that serpentine. Friends? Pah, cab't you see the serpentines are responsible for the destruction. If they weren't here in the first place then none of this happen. They must be erradicated so you better hand him over to me so that i can end it once and for all."as he was about take step closer to the anacondrai.

Lonewolf stood up slowly as he let go his other arm where the arrow missed and raised his both arms sideway. Gowli blinked at him as if he was maintaining to stand front. Gowli taunt, "Lonewolf step aside......or i might spare you. After all your just a weak, undertrained and you can't even fight in that state. "

"your right. Its true i was afraid but when i met kiba i was frightened at first but deep down he has a good heart. He was there for me and i felt an encouragement to live. That's why i decided not to run or cower in fear. I'm different now thx to Kiba, right now i'm going to protect him no matter what."

Gowli eyes widened to see that he stand up to him, no one has ever stand up to before. Then Gowli felt disgusted the way the huntsboy protecting anacondrai. "So thats your answer."Gowli said. Lonewolf eyes is filled with determination. "Very well, Let's see if you can really defend it."as Gowli reached out his katana behind him and draw his sword at him. Lonewolf knew he was challenging him, so he grabbed his dagger and got into his fighthing stance. "KIba listen i want you to stay hidden and don't reveal yourself. Ok now go"Lonewolf instructed. "But....."KIba said.

"GO!"

Kiba did what he was told as he went invisible, Lonewolf turned to Gowli who was pointing his blade at him. "It seems your little so called friend has abandoned you."Gowli said. "It's for the best, Iyou won't be able to find him and i'm pretty sure he went back safely. I swear myself that i will protect him coz that's what friends are for."LOnewolf said. "So be it, prepare yourself.......traitor"Gwoli barked as he charged at him. Lonewolf blocked his katana with his dagger. They started par with each other, clashing their blades. Somehow Lonewolf manage to defend himself from not getting hit however Gowli notice his reflexex are so fast he couldn't anticipate him. As they backed away each other, sweating and panting. Gowli heavily asked, "how....were....you.....able.....to.....block....my katana?" "You may think i'm undertrained, let's just i know the ways of the ancondrai."Lonewolf told him. Gowli was sickened by his confident as he attack again. Their fights kept on going like forever as the sky became darkened and heavily poured rain on them. The thunder roars while both of them fight. When their blades clashed again, their face inched closer like eye to eye. "Y'know kid, your not bad. You would make a good slayer if you stop caring for those monster."Gowli offered. Lonewolf looked to his eye and see a thirst of power, deep down there's no honor just pride filled with hatred.

"the only monster i see is you. They may look different but they're like us, if you could just understand them then you don't have to fight them. Your people doesn't want to fight but they're not the only ones. The serpentines don't wanna fight either, all they want is peace that's all. I sense you don't want to fight also as much i do."Lonewolf said, trying to reasoned.

"are you saying you want me to let go of the past and forsake them. Your foolish you think i'm going to let them do what they want. I hated them, i despise all of them. I will erradicate all and they're will be no mercy."

Gowli's bloodlust began to surface as he grabbed another katana behind him and swing it at him coz he hated to lose from a huntsboy. Lonewolf almost manage to dodge it but the blade just cut through his chestplate. He stared at Gowli who was holding two katanas in his hand, he knew he wasn't fighting fair. Gowli lungedat him, making it difficult for Lonewolf to avoid it. Lonwolf tried to dodge his attacks however he didn't notice a rock as he tripped and fell down caausing the dagger to dropped somehere. Lonwolf got up when a blade was pointed on his chest. "I've beaten you but i'm a generous guy, I'll spare your life if you tell me whereabouts of the anacondrai tribe."Gowli said with a sickening grin. "I made a promise that i will never tell from the likes of you."Lonewolf said weakly.

"the fight to the end huh? You've got guts kid but Your no match for me, all that kindess has made you weak. Just like your father and since you missed him, why don't you join him!?"

"You attack an unarmed and defenseless boy."

"thats a good question.......like i said there will be no mercy."

Lonewolf gave him a horrified look as Gowli raised his two katanas in the air ready to strike him. Lonewolf closed his eyes waiting his end but nothing happens. He opened his eyes as he saw Gowli howled in pain making him dropped his katanas. Lonewolf saw his dagger was peirced into his shoulder. Gowli stammered backwards and crouched on the ground trying to removed the dagger. Lonewolf sense an aura in front of which revealed it was Kiba who saved him. "No....I was so scared before but i can't bear to see my friend get hurt."Kiba said to Gowli. Kiba turned to his friend as he help him get on his feet. Lonewolf slowly got up looking bruises and cuts. "You came back...."LOnewolf asked.

"of course your my friend. I came back for you coz i might regret for giving up on you just like how you never give up on me."

Both of them smiled each other as they turned to Gowli who is looking weak. "I've been beaten.....by anacondrai"Gowli said with a negative look. Both of them stand there as Lonewolf went closer to him, giving him a regretful look. Gowli stared at him as if he was pitying him. Gowli said, "What are you waitting for?....... finish me like a true warrior. I know you want to."

Lonewolf felt an opportunity to finish him, he couldn't forgive him for what he did and his friend. He felt the urge to pick up the dagger and finally end it but he realize it was wrong. If he did that then he might end up just like him. My father told me that with great honor comes with great responsibility. Lonewolf picked up the dagger and went towards him, Kiba felt frightened that Lonewolf might do it but instead Lonewolf layed down his weapon in front of Gowli which made him surprised.

"sorr Gowli but I'm a huntsboy, not a slayer and fought with honor not pride."LOnewolf reminded as he turned his back on him. Kiba slitthered over to him to make him feel comfortable. Gowli slowly got up and said, "If you can't end my life then i'll just end his". As he grabbed lonewolf's dagger and was about to lunged at Kiba trying to kill him. Kiba was on the verged to be killed until Lonewolf stopped him by pushing Gowli to the side which causes them to rollled over the slope. While they were rolling, they reached the cliff as they were about to fell. Gowli knew it was the end for him until he felt something grabbed him. He looked up to see lonewolf was grabbing his sheath bag. Gowli said, "what are you doing fool? Let go of me"

"No" "I said let go of me" "Never, i won't let go."

"why? Why did you save me? After all the things i've done to you and your father, yet you spared my life....Why?"

"LIke i said, deep down we both know that we don't want to fight. It's true that you did wrongdeeds but i can't let you just feeling donw and end your life. You still have a chance to live. My dad once told me ...."

LOnewolf felt he was loosing gripped of the tree roots coz of the arrow that strike his arm which causes the wound to bleed more through his sleeve. ".... always forgive someone, no matter what they have done to you " he said to gowli.

Gowli was surprised that his father told him that. He felt guilty for the deeds he's done and yet Lonewolf forgave him. Who would thought a huntsboy made pity to a slayer? He notice Lonewolf's arm is bleeding, he realize he can't hold on for long.

"Lonewolf you got let go of me or we'll both fell."

"I won't let go of you."Lonewolf said, struggling to hold on until he can't do it any longer as he was about to let go he felt someone is holding Lonewolf's hand. Both of them looked up to see it was Kiba who had a gripped on Lonewolf. Gowli was shocked to see anacondrai saved them. Kiba yelled, "Hold on tight."as he tried to pulled them which causes the ground to crumble. Gowli said, "that anacondrai.....saved you."

"Not only me, also you too."LOnewolf said.

"What? WHy would he.......?"

"Can't you see? He's trying to prove that serpentines aren't the enemies. Long time ago after the destruction, they weren't trying to hurt us, they were trying to warn us but instead we made them their enemy that's why. I thought maybe you might understand how the serpentines felt. Don't worry we'll get through with this, if we do we can do it over. Everyone deserves a second chance, even you."

Gowli eye's widened by Lonewolf's reason as he stared at the Anacondrai. All that time he was blinded by his own lust of revenge that he didn't know that they were only trying to help. He made a terrible mistake before and felt responsibilit for the slain serpentines. He began to understand the nature between the huntsboy and the ancondrai since he's the one who made peace with him by turning an enemy into a friend. Gowli saw the anacondrai can't hold on so he knew what he had to do.

"Lonewolf, We made a mistake for the past years. But i'm glad I met you, your an exact image of your father who has a kind heart. I'm proud that you have a father who thinks everyl living things is beautiful. I think i understand his way of nature and you were right about serpentine. I want you to find a way ...to teach those people to respect the nature to maintain.....peace"as gowli raised the dagger which he was still holding on to it.

"don't say that way we can still make it just tell them."Lonewolf said, losing his grip.

"It's too late the slayers are about to come here and will try to erradicate the tribes and your hatchling."

Lonewolf saw the dagger in Gowli's hand, he relaize what he was doing.

Kiba stared at Gowli who still holding on, Gowli gave a sad smile and said, "I'm sorry for the things i've done. I hope you forgive me and my kind for accusing you. Take care of yourself. *turned to lonewolf* lonewolf thank you for making me realize what is right or wrong."

"Gowli pls i beg you don't....."

"As you would know only one of us must live. You won the fight and it was nice sparring with you. *Gowli raised the dagger at his sheath bag* As the creed go, only one can remain."he cut the strap as he fell to his demise with a proud smile on his face,. "GOWLI!!!"LOnewolf cried, as he watched Gowli's body disappeared into the fog. Lonewolf graabbed only his sheath bag, as he truned away with a grieved face. Even KIba felt it too as he succeeded pulling him up. Both of them stared to where gowli fell feeling hurt and grieved. "I'm...sorry Lonewolf. We tried to save him."Kiba said apologethic. "He did that in order to save us, I don't think no one is going to beleive."Lonewolf said until they heard a hoard of slayers coming their way.

"the slayers are coming quick you must head back to your tribe and make your escape."

"What about you? What will you do?"

"I will try to hold them off and make sure they won't passed."

"But that's dangerous, you can't fight in that conditioned. You'll be punished or worst....And i can't let you fight all of them by yourself."

"*deepest sigh* listen i swear to protect you remember like what Gowli said you can only saved those who want to be saved. You might have a chance to live and survive i mean afterall everyone deserves a second chance."

"Don't go. I don't my friend to get hurt or leave. I want you to stay with beside me like before. I can't....."Kiba began to shed tears.

"your the first human friend i've ever met. If that's the case I'll wait for you, i don't care how long or when but promise me that you'll find me  just like before. if you do, let us hope to make peace and harmony together between humans and serpentine in the future just like the ophiucus"

Both of them smiled as Kiba lifted his fist and said, "Unity"Lonewolf blinked at him and did the samething. "unity" as they did the fist bump. Lonewolf stood at the spot as tears run down from his cheeks. He doesn't know whether he's feeling sad or just rain pouring on his face as he turned around to the slayers arrived.

"hey what happen?"

"look that's Gowli's katanas. What happen?"

"The anacondrai must have killed him. See, there's tracks. We'll make them pay"

As they were about to follow until they were blocked by Lonewolf whose filled with desire to protect him. "What's the meaning of this?" one of the slayers spoke.

"your that lonewolf kid step aside that ancondrai will pay for what he did to GOwli"

"the anacondrai didn't vanquished him *grabbed GOwli's katanas* I vanquished Gowli."

Which made the slayers into a shock that the huntsboy defeated the mighty slayer. "you vanquished him. What is your reason?"

"i did it in order to protect the anacondrai and i won't moved from this spot."

"You sided with the monsters. YOu. Traitor. You will pay for the crimes of what you did. If you can't stand aside then we'll just have to force you. My fellow slayers, attack the traitor."

As they began to charge at him with a battle cry, Lonewolf lifted the two katanas in both his hand. He whispered to himself with regrets, "Forgive me father, i know i detest violence but give me strength to protect my true friend. I'm no longer the huntsboy who hunts but i am a lonewolf who stand and fight." the slayers were coming closer as Loneolf got into his fighting stance. He stared at Kiba's scale and clenched to him with all his life, said his last word. "For the Honor. Uwuyaaaaaaaaahhhh."as he lunged at the slayers, determine to protect his promise. As the image became darkened.

End of dream

I woke up with tears in my eye, the dreams I saw was too unbearable. I don't know why i was crying but for some reason it looks so real. Who would thought a huntsboy risk his life just to save anacondrai. It's strange why is my dream showing me, my heart felt almost like it was broken peices when i saw it. It was a mystery, i don't know what to think whether to believe or not. While i just sat there, moping and wondering until i felt two farmiliar auras. Then i heard footsteps coming this way.

Zane's POV

Inside a dream, I was in a hole, with a sleeping dragon. I touched it's scales, reading it's thoughts. It didn't have many, just hunger and captivity. And darkness. I tried climbing back up, only to soon wake up the dragon. It came too close to comfort, I woke up once more, only to find Cole unlocking my chains. We ran out the room and escaped. We were running through a series of tunnels."No, not that way. That will only take us back to where we started." I explained."Maybe you should be leading." Cole suggested. Suddenly, a rumbling sound was heard throughout the tunnel. "We need to move!" Cole suddenly exclaimed and began to run. "I thought I was leading." I said."Trust me, you might want to keep up!" Cole replied, continuing to run. I look behind me to see a snake coming after me. Upon seeing the giant serpent, I began to run after Cole. We ran but soon ended up at a dead end."This isn't a wall, it's the body of a large serpent." I said."Come on, we have to find another way!" Cole told me before dragging me towards another direction."Argh, another dead end." Cole said.

The two watched as the large serpent began to close off the exits."The serpent's strategy appears to be to surround us and cool inward. Very clever." I complimented."Yeah, well, my strategy is not to be eaten." Cole told him. Suddenly, the serpent attempted to eat us, but not if i can help it.

"Pixal, tell me the escape routes!"

"Pixal!? There's a girl stuck in your head?!"

I shot out exploding shurikens from his hands, having a hole under me and Cole. They ran off, finding a way out. Minute Later, when we were about to find a way out when pixal detect something.

"Zane, i detecting another person nearby."Pixal informed.

"is it one chen's men?"I asked.

"No but it would seem we're not the only ones who were held captive."

"Cole wait pixal said there's another person who was held captive here too."

Cole said, "Ok then lead the way tin man."

Pixal gave me the location to where it is, as we saw another cell which is similar to the ones i was held. Cole notice the double katanas hanging in front of the door. "that's strange where have i seen that somewhere before."I said. Cole loomed over to the cell to see who it was. A samurai who was wearin white armor and has a ponytail when cole recognize him. "Wait a minute i recognize that white armeor..... Vatu, is that you?."

As the samurai raised his head and his eye's widened when he recovered from his pace. "Cole hey what up? How is it going?"Vatu said with enthusiastic until he saw me beside him. "oh my gosh Zane your alive and look at you, you look better than the last time. She really did brought you back."

"WHat?"we said in unison.

Vatu bit his tongue and said, "UH NEvermind, listen would you mind getting me out of here."

Cole used the keys he stole and unlocked it, when it was opened I rushed in and began to cut through his chains using my saw cutter. "ooooohh, Nice upgrades."Vatu complimented. As his hand were free, he slowly got up and stretched himself. "woo-wee, I feel stiff."Vatu said with glad as he got his double katanas and placed it on his back. "it's good to be out, i mean i hate it when i'm locked up."

Cole question, "yeah, it's good but i have a question. How did you end up here and what were you doing on the island?"

"Well, we---"he bit his lip. I asked, "We?

"---i mean i was having a perfect day until i saw someone sneaking into Borg Tower. It looked like a man and he was holding Pixal and.....you. I was shocked that you were alive so we----uh i followed him into this island. I try to save you and the robot girl until we were----no i was caught. They put me in chains and imprison me, can you belive that?"

"My senses tells me that you didn't come alone..."I mentioned which made Vatu blinked with realization. "Someone is with you right coz you just said "we"before"Cole said with suspicious look. "alright alright you caught me yes we did come together the trouble is i don't know what happen to her."Vatu said (lied in order not to let them know about jinmay)

"so it's a girl with you?"Cole asked. "yeah, however i waited for her to come but she didn't came. I do know is that she was in the tournament."Vatu replied. "is she an elemental master?"I asked him. "no, i heard she is laying low maybe i don't know, for now we should leave this place. I had enough of being in a cage."Vatu said in gesture. "Come on, i know the way out."I said as the three of us find the way out. Vatu asked, "Speaking of which, I said i saw you and the robot girl. What happen to her?"I turned to him and pointed at my head which made Vatu into a shock.

Nya's POV

"You will always be pleased to serve me, isn't that right, Kabuki?" asked Chen. Everyone except me started laughing. "Hehehe, he..." I said, waving the fan. "Now harder! Really get into it!" "Our spy says the Master of Lightning's hurt-" said Clouse. I gasped, and accidentally hit Chen with the fan- leaf- thing... "The ninja are weakening, master." "What about the spy? Have you found him?" Chen questioned. "We haven't found anything on the island yet, but we will."Clouse assured.

"Dareth! Do you hear me?! They're coming for you!" I whispered on my bracelet, trying to contact Dareth

Back in the tunnels, Cole, Zane, and Vatu were close to ending free. They had heard two of Chen's followers talking about what was going to happen to the other factory workers."Poor saps?" Cole said in a questioning tone after they walked by."Hurry, the exit is just around the bend." Zane said, walking away. "Oh good free at last."followed by Vatu. "You go, I can't." Cole told the two, making them stop in their tracks. "what? Why?"Vatu asked. "Coz a ninja doesn't save himself, he protects those who can't protect themselves. I have to go back. I have to go back and save them all." He finished, beginning to walk back."And a ninja never leaves another ninja's side." Zane added, walking over to his fellow brother. Vatu stared at the two until the image reminded of a huntsboy and anacondrai as it faded back. He smiled at the two brothers, he has no idea why he felt that way.

Cole and Zane turned to Vatu who was standing there. Cole asked, "Hey Vatu what are you gonna do now? Are you going to leave the island?"Vatu stared at him and answered, "No, i should go and find my companion and just like you said. He protects those who can't protect themselves. Even if it means finding her somewhere."as he begin to head to the exit until he stopped his track. "Y'know, you two reminded me the one i saw in my dream."

Cole and Zane stared at him confusely as Vatu added "Nevermind, If i find my companion, I'll be sure to return my debt for saving me so good luck."as he head towards the exit. Both of them turned to each other, "Don't worry I'm sure he' ll be fine. I promise we'll get off this island one day, Zane. But it's either all of us or none of us." Cole told Zane as they walked away.

Nya's POv

While I was massaging miserabl at Chen's feet until........"YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN- GO ON WITHOUT MEEE!" shouted Dareth. "So you're the spy! Ha! The spell!" said Chen. I kicked Chen. "Oh, and by the way- your feet stink!" I said, running away. "Get her! And get that spell!" Clouse opened a door, and I kicked Clouse out of the way. I ran and grabbed onto the lamp, kicking him again. When he fell down, I got up on a roof and threw little pieces of the roof down to Clouse. When he got distracted, I ran away. "Don't just stand there- find her!" Clouse jumped from biulding to building, trying to get on the roof. I kept running, never looking back. 

When we got to a roof, Clouse tried to grab onto me. Then we broke it out into a fight, kicking and punching each other. I kept jumping from roof to roof, a mysterious person dressed in red and purple appeared beside me and pinned me down. Clouse said far behind, "Well done, Rajah Now hold her down and grab the spell."He nodded as he was about to get it but instead he loosened his grip on my arm almost like he was hesitating and whispered to me, "you must escape.... and find your friend... so that you can stop chen's evil plan...... just hit me so that he won't know i'm helping you." I haven't got time to figure it out why he told me and spare me so I did what i was told and kicked him off me then ran into the forest. I was far away from them I looked back and thought to myself. 'its strange why did he let me go?'

In the hallway, one of chen's cultist was walking and heading to chen's throne room to report until he was stopped by Rava who was leaning on the wall. "Hey shouldn't you be in your room?" "Oh what about you? Shouldn't you be in your room too?"Rava said. The cutist stared at her confusely as she continued, "it was a very smart move infiltrating the elemental alliance so that you get information about it. Not only that, Chen used trick words just to turn their alliances against them. But that's not all, to prevent from being caught is to hide your identity so that no one knows.......that your the spy."

"what....what are you talking about?"

"Do not try to fool me, i know an imposter when i see one. Remeber i can tell the difference between truth and lies, just like the master of form. Reflections reveals the moment of truth and sometimes looks can be deciving. Wouldn't you agree? Cultist or should i say.........Master of Amber, Daughter of Chen."

He respond to her deduction then suddenly changed to reveal that it was actually...Skylor. She turbed to her and asked, "since when did you realize....i'm the spy and his daughter?"

"i knew from the very begining when i first saw you in the tournament. You took advantage of the master of fire to have trust you and also used the power of form to hide your tattoo. And the way I looked at you, i notice that you have a splitting image of chen's face so i knew the resemblance. To my conclusion that you were his daughter and i bet your mother was an elemental master."

Skylor's deception has faded and give a complete straight face. "And now what? Are you going to turn me in?"she asked. Rava moved away from the wall and gaze at her calmly. "No. It's best that we should keep up the charades for now. Do not worry i'll let this go and see nothing."as she was about to leave.

"Wait, there's something i should ask. Who exactly are you?"

Rava stopped at her track and turned to Skylor who was still there. "When i try to read your mind, it was shallow almost as if your mind was completely blocked. Not only that, when try to touch you but you just avoided me as if you knew my power was. So it led me to a conclusion....."

"And that is........" "you're not an elemental master, are you?"

Rava slowly gave a grin, "Very perceptive, yes your right i'm not the master of air. But the reason i entered the tournament is that i did what i had to do. After all, we both have our own roles and i should'nt meddle with the affairs. I hope you understand that." she turned around and added, "Be wary, master of Amber. One day you might slip up and made a choice beside who would thought the master of fire has feelings for you. Oh well, it's opposite attract."as she left the hallway.

Skylor stood there thinking what she said as she morphed back into her disguise and went her father throne room. Unknown to them, Rajah was watching the whole time hiding behind the hallway.

SPELLBOUND 

Rava's POv

We were on a Hot Air Balloon above Chen's Island, doing the next event. However, the elemental masters are acting hostile towards each other in some way: Griffin Turner (A/N i decided to call names now coz i'm tired of typing master, only she says it out loud) announces to Jay that he'll be eliminated next due to his broken leg, Kai is still convinced that Shade is the spy, and Skylor is annoyed with Paleman flirting with her. Lloyd is nervous about the height they're at, even Garmadon. It would seem chen's word has made them crumble then stared at skylor while she stared back to me. We made eye contact since i found out she's a spy but i didn't tell anyone much to Skylor's relief, turning her face away. 

I notice Neuro was breathing heavily, walking to the driver's seat. "I can't stand heights- where's Chen?!" asked Neuro, opening the cockpit to reveal that no one was inside. I realize no was driving. Suddenly, the screen in the cockpit turned on and Chen appeared. He appeared to be having trouble. "How do I know if this thing's on? Oh, oh I see the light..oh I'm on? Right now?!" Chen cleared his throat. "I see you are all eager for the tournament to commense. So one of you could win my staff of Elements! Instead of fighting for a Jade Blade- you'll be fighting- for something different!" He made a screen pop up of the forest, then zooming in to find Nya. "Nya!" said Kai. "You know her?" asked skylor. "She's my sister."

"We have an uninvited guest on the island- find her and you will automatically move on! To the final round!"

"He wants us all to hunt her down?! She won't stand a chance!" added Jay. "Then we have to find her before anyone else does."Lloyd said.

"In 10 seconds the bottom will drop, but to show you I'm not a bad man- I've given you 9 parachutes!" We all turned around and saw 9 parachutes appear. The floor started to open, and everyone grabbed a parachute except Garmadon. "Sensei Garmadon's there? Shoot! That makes 10. oh well. Was never good at math! Haha! Toodaloo!"

Who would of thought he loves trapdoors? We all fell and accidentally let go of our parachutes. Somehow i was the first to grab one and opened the parachute, even Shade made it as well so he was safe. Then it was Skylor and then Griffin. Jay's leg was broken."Lloyd, use your energy dragon!"he shouted. "I- I can't! I can't get it to work!" Lloyd shouted, looking to the ground. Everyone without a parachute kept free falling through the atomsphere. Jay accidentally fell onto Griffin's parachute."Get your own parachute, Lead Foot!" Jay let go, and caught his own chute."Ha! I got one! I GOT OONNE!" Jay's power showed a little too much, and it blinded everyone. Kai swung his arms around, trying to glide closer to a parachute. He caught it, and saw that only one parachute remained. It was in between Garmadon and Lloyd. It was a tough decision unti l Lloyd pulled the line and let go for his father, despite his protests. "what is he doing?"I said watching above. I watched as Lloyd tried focusing to control his fear, and then.......A dragon roar echoed through the air!

"Haha! They made it!" said Kai. "Of course they made it!" replied Jay. "That a boy!" said Garmadon, smiling at him. Lloyd landed his dragon and while everyone else landed safely. After the elemental masters have landed somewhere, I used the power of air to land me safely into the ground as I roamed around hoping to find them instead of hunting. Chen says that there are "special gifts" hidden around the island to aid them in their search for Nya which i decline becoz I had enough games since i knew Chen would not give up his staff so easily. So i decided to find them without his toys.

Lloyd's Pov

On another part of the island, my father and iI had landed. "If we're going to find Nya before the others do, we've got a lot of ground to cover." Garmadon explained. I made my dragon disappear. "Look! Nya's footprints!" Lloyd pointing out, gesturing towards the ground."Nya's more clever than that..." Garmadon said, walking over to examine the footsteps. "No, she wants everyone to follow these tracks. But only wants us to see this." Garmadon pointed to a symbol that was carved in the tree in front of us. "The Samurai X symbol." "Can I give you a lift?" I questioned, getting ready to summon his dragon to which Garmadon denied."Save your energy. It's best not to draw attention, come on." Garmadon said before he began to walk off.

Vatu's POv

In the jungle, I escaped from their clutches and went to search Rava who just happened to be participating. I just grunted at her for making me wait instead of saving me. I stopped for a second about the dream i had and why that boy has the purple scale just like he does. I reached into my pocket and took out a white scale that I had similar to the dream. I snapped out of my mind, putting the scale back and focus on finding Rava. While I was running through the forest until i heard voices so i hid in the bushes. I peeked to see wheter it's not one of chen's men but turns out it was Lloyd and Garmadon. I was so surprised to see them but i decied to stay out of sight and eavesdrop. As Lloyd began to question his father about how he even came to be one of Chen's students in the first place. I aslo wanted to hear it as well since it is new to me that i didn't know garmadon was chen's student. So Garmadon decides to tell him the whole story: due to the Great Devourer's bite taking years to consume him, he began training under Chen with Clouse.

During one of their training matches, Chen tells the two that they're holding back and promises the winner will become his righthand and be granted lordship. At that, Clouse uses his magic to bring the training dummies to life, only for Garmadon to use his Spinjitzu to destroy them and knock Clouse down to win. Clouse complains, but Chen stated Garmadon did what he needed to do, calling him "Lord Garmadon." I said to myself so that how he got his lordship. I continued to listen to his story which caught me an interest about the Serpentine Wars . I heard they were underway and both sides wanted a truce. Chen, on the other hand, is against it and tells Garmadon to never trust a snake. He then gives his second-in-command a letter from Wu written for Misako, saying it could sway how she felt about one of the brothers and all he had to do was sign it. Garmadon does, though is seen by Clouse doing so. Lloyd is surprised to hear about the letter, though Garmadon says to his son that he has no regrets as Lloyd wouldn't exist if he didn't. While they were walking they did'nt know i was following them, i was surprised again that who would of thought he lied to his wife into thinking the letter is his and keeping himself this whole time. so i kept following, wanted to know more of his history and the serpentine war coz my instinct tells me it got something releated to the dream/vison i saw.

Meanwhile, Nya is seen running and narrowly avoids being spotted by Shade, who stops upon hearing the loudspeaker go off. Suddenly, he brought a bow and arrow and pointed. "I know your there come out."he demand. As the figure came out which turns out to be Rava who is seemingly calm. "Oh it's you if your here to stop me, don't bother i will win the staff"he said still pointing his arrow. "at ease master of shadow i did not come here to fight."Rava said.

"So that you can do a sneak attack, Sorry i won't fall for it."

"Even if did, i wouldn't have a weapon with me to fight against and that will not be honorable"

"*he notice Rava doesn't have* Then what is?"

"Your letting deception clouded your mind what you did not realize the truth. We both know that chen doesn't play fair and he only cared for himself instead. If we do not stop him, the world you once knew will become nothing but a memory."

"How will i know that you were not lying to me just to have the staff to yourself?"

"Because i speak the truth and deep down you know it as well as I that chen will not give up his staff."

Shade looked into her eyes and sees that she wasn't lying at all, not even a surprise attack. Nya who was hiding was surprised as well that she wasn't going to fight him. He lowered his weapon and gave a straight face to her. "Who are you? Your not the kind of person who would ever persuade me, unlike the ninja."He compliment. "I'm just......*gentle gaze* an Archer who has a duty to fulfilled."Rava replied until she turned to the side and added, "it would seem this is our last."Shadow doesn't know what she meant until they appeared behind them by Clouse with Rajah behind him and six chen's soldier.

 Clouse said with an evil grin, "Your time in this tournament has expired."Shade said, "So you and the ninja were right all along. Chen was never gonna hand over that staff."Clouse turnes to Rava who happened to be with the master of shadow. "As for you,I suspected that your not an elemental master, you and i are going to have little talk"Clouse said as Rava closed her eyes and turn her head in his direction then opened them. Rajah notice Rava mumbling at herself until he realize what she was doing as she slowly lifted her right arm. "Yes, but i'm afraid there's nothing to talk about" Rava said rudely as she used air to blew strongly at the them, even shadow however Rajah was quick as she dispersed the wind. Clouse and his men notice Rava was gone until Clouse saw Rava running through the jungle. "don't just stand there, go after her."Clouse told them when Rajah interrupted, "Allow me, I have unfinished business with the girl and she will dearly pay for humilliating me back in ninjaball tournament."Clouse sense an opportunity and payback emitting from him and replied, "Very Well then" As he watched Rajah run off after her.

Clouse turned back at Shade as he was soon surrounded by chen's soldier. "Hmm. Only one can remain. And it will be Chen!"He reminded as Shade scream, much to Nya's shock.

Vatu's Pov

Still following them, I was confused that Garmadon trained with Chen, yet fought alongside Wu in the wars and questions the reason why the truce was abandoned. As Garmadon continues on: the Serpentine attacked first, and although the Elemental Masters fought back easily, they had never encountered anything like the Anacondrai, who were stronger, smarter and natural leaders in battle. 'wow, i didn't know anacondrai's were mighty warriors' i thought as i kept on listening about how the Elemental Alliance was subdued, Jamanakai Village was captured in the name of General Arcturus (which the name seem so farmiliar to me), the leader of the Anacondrai and the Serpentine which is sound so Chen had thought he could get momentum by siding with the Serpentine and wanted Garmadon by his side. However, He only wanted to fight for Misako and decided to leave Chen to battle by Wu's side. As the sons of the First Spinjitzu Master, they led the alliance into battle and began to win: however, Chen managed to unravel that, as he convinced the Elemental Master of Earth to fight for the snakes, resulting in the alliance being weakened. With inspiration from a snake charmer, Garmadon had the Masters use sacred flutes to hypnotize each Serpentine tribe, divide them and have them locked away in seperate tombs. So that's why the serpentine tribes were locked up in their tombx. I also heard that Chen and Clouse were exiled for their treason, and Arcturus and the six remaining generals, under Mystake's suggestion, were banished to the Cursed Realm so they couldn't set foot in Ninjago again.

As i was amazed by the story but who would have thought htat Garmadon has been keeping dark secrets from his family all that time kinda remind me of Rava who has a deep secret too. Lloyd said with amaze, "Even after all the time, you never told Wu about your past with Chen?"Gramadon said, " What would I have said? I would have lost your mother, as well as my brother. Notto mention---"

"Someone once told me you need to control your fear, and not let fear control you."

"Hm, you're right. Once we put all of us this behind us, I'll make things right. But first, we need to find Nya. Come on."

As they continued to search which led me to a surprised, "Nya? The samurai girl? Here? Hmm....if they need help finding her then i should find her."I said as i went off to search for Nya.

In the jungle, Rava was running as she was blocked by pillars that came out of the ground. 'Rava......control......'said the voice in her head. (probably jinmay)

Rava heard her voice but what did meant by control as she turned around to see Rajah was behind her, as two stood at their position. Rava glared at him and declared, "I'm not allowed to harm anyone but you leave me no choice. Let's finish what we left off , shall we?" "Sure I mean after all, we both have unfinished business for humiliation."Rajah said with a smirk. Both of them got into their fighting stance and charged at each other. Rava mannage to take punch on her but Rajah avoided. Their punch and the kicks however their moves were equally matched. Rava questioned herself; why his fighting skill were matched almost like he knew her moves. Rajah said while fighting, "What's the matter? It seems your having trouble trusting anyone." "I do not need anyone, especially the ninja."Rava said.

"Really not even your precious companion, last time i check you cared."

Rajah words has reached into Rava's heart which made her become intense. She never felt it before as she began to fight her seriously. Rajah notice her moves as she backed away and cast another spell by shooting shard arrows. Rava manage to dodge it as she glared at her, "it would seem your not playing fair, Rajah"she hissed. As she brought out her feather which morphed into a celestial bow and shot energy arrows at the shard arrows. Rajah smirked at her and said sarcastically, "So that's where you hid your bow, since you arrived here i was wondering where you kept your weaopn. So much for being the spirit guardian"Rava eye's widened that how did he knew she was a spirit and had a spiritual weapon, it's almost as if he know about her. "Who told you that?"Rava said with anger. "I'll tell you but only if you......catch me."He told her as he run. Rava run after him as they were side by side, as Rajah cast another spell which cause the rocks to be thrown at her but Rava shot them. While they wer running, Rava heard jinmay's faint voice. 'Rava........control.....remove......fight'she said as it cut off. Rava doesn't understand what she meant until she was grabbed by vines as she was held upside down. Her arms and legs were wrapped as well.

Rajah grinned at her and said cruel face, "What's the matter? You seemed to be spaced out so why don't you relax and enjoy the view?"Rava stared at her and said with a cold face, "No thank you"as she she said the chant.

As wind blew very hard then the vines began to severed. Rava was dropped as she brought out her bow to finish him. When everything was bright, she opened her eyes and saw what she couldn't believe what Rajah was holding to block it; jinmay's shimu staff as it morphed into a lance and swing it to throw Rava. Rava landed and stared at him. "W-Where did you get that? That's my mistress' weapon. How can you wield it?"She demand. "Oh is that so? I guess you probably figure it out by now."Rahjah said morphing the shimu staff into a crossbow and started shooting which made Rava furious that he was using as she launched at him. Their weapons clashed as their face come closer, "Woah chill no need to be agressive"Rajah said. "you will pay dearly for what you did, I won't forgive you. I should have never abandon her."

"Really just like how you couldn't save one of the ninja......now what was his name? Zane and left him."

RAva's guilt began to arise, he was right about it but there's nothing she can do. All she did was protect her but instead it broke her heart. Jinmay lost the one she cared and began shutting herself from Rava, she felt like she couldn't trust herself. 'Rava....' Then, Rava heard it again as she shook her head to snap out of it realizing he was taking advantage her weakness as she tilt her bow to trip Rajah into losing his balance, making him drop the shimu staff. Rava was on top of him, placing her bow on the chest for pining him down. Rava leaned closer to him, reaching out to his hood. "I do not know why but for some reason you know all about me. I don't know where you hidden Vatu and my mistress but i want to know who you really are...."as she removed the hood off his head. As her blood drained when she saw his face.

"No, It can't be......"

Nya's POv

While i was carving symbols so that my friends find me until i saw soldiers are coming behind as i was about to run until someone beside me just grabbed me and covered my mouth. I tried to struggle but a figure whispered to my ear, "Shhh don't move."

We saw 4 soldiers captured another elemental master as they took him someplace. One soldier stop and turn to see the perimeter to see whether someone hiding as he headed towards to where they were hiding. I notice the figure behind me lifted his hand and chant some kind of spell.

Swift as the mist, silent as the forest

Heed my voice and passed through the night

As the fog began to formed around us, I felt my body is fading as i hardly hold my breathe. Then i turned to the soldier who was coming as he checked, I notice he didn't see us and left. As soon he left, i stomped at the figure's feet and broke free from his grasp. "Ow, is that the thanks i get for saving you?"he said. I've recognize the voice and turned to see who i was surprised. "Vatu!"I exclaimed..

"hey ouch samurai girl how you been?"

"I'm so sorry i thought..."

"Relax i get that a lot and it's a good thing he didn't see us coz we're invisible to them."

"what are you talking about?"

"you didn't notice, huh? Look at yourself"

I was confused at first when i look at my hand, I was shocked that my hand is somehow turned into somekind of transparent mist. I turned to him and assured to me, "Don't worry it's just temporary. It'll wear off soon enough."

"I...but....how.....i mean what are you doing here?"

"No time LIsten your friends is looking for you anyway and i want to make sure your alright. Anyway, why were they looking for you?"

I explain everything to him, even the spell i stole from the library. I showed it to him, which Vatu seemed to be interested in the spell when he saw it. He turned to me and said, "OK look i want you to go straight and turn left....that way you can find your firend."

I said, "thx....so how long i might become visible again?"

"Oh around 5 mins......Good luck and be careful"

"You too"as i watched him left then i went back into finding my friends, I hope they're ok.

BAck in the forest, Rava shrugged when she saw Rajah's face, the identity of his face was actually.....

"Mistress!"Rava excalimed when she couldn't believe that all this time, Rajah was actually Jinmay but instead of blue hair it was white hair. The reason why felt the prescene during the tournament is because she was there. "Mistress, why are you....."Rava didn't get to finish it as jinmay kicked her on the stomach and flipped away from her. Rava recovered as she stared at her with disbelief, "Mistress, What are you doing?" "I must follow Chen's order and i cannot deny it"Jinmay said strangely as she grabbed her shimu staff and lunged at Rava. Rava wanted to fight back but she couldn't so she keep blocking her attacks instead. As their face were close, "why are you doing this?"Rava asked.

"I...must FOLLOW Chen's oder and i cannot deny it."

Rava tipped her off to the side but jinmay manage to land on her feet. As they stood their, taking their breaths and panting. Rava was feeling tired but yet confuse, it doesn't make sense to her that why is she acting that way and why is her skill began to feeble almost like she was hesitating. Rava stared at her and notice something on her head. It looks like some kind of black headband then she realize what she was telling her all along, she was under control that made her that way. She need to get close to her in order to destroy. "Mistress, I'm going to free your mind."Rava said to jinmay as she charged at her. THey fought very serious to make it look like a real fight, Rava was about to head for the collar however jinmay grabbed Rava on the suit and pinned her on the ground. JInmay was on top of her and was about to finish Rava with her shimu staff until Rava saw her chance as she chant the spell fast.

Rava slowly moved her hand and swing it in front of jinmay's face as the headband was split into two causing jinmay to drop the weapon and made her dizzy as she regained herself. "oohhh-errr Phew.....What took you so long? 5 more seconds and you could have been done for by now."Jinmay complained as she got up and grabbed Rava's hand to get on her feet. Jinmay stared at the collar and stomped on it, "Stupid headband...Restraining my physical action and making me his pupil. Bleahh....can you believe it? I also do dark arts even though i don't have my elemental powers."

"Mistress, why were you with Chen and Clouse? And your hair.....when did this happen."

"it's a long story" "we still have time mistress"

JInmay looked around just to be sure they were no camera or listening device, Jinmay and Rava head to the tree as she ask Rava to cast an illusion around them and she did, making it look like they weren't there. THey sat on the ground, "Now no one can see us so Explain....."Rava questioned. JInmay sighed, "Ok it all started after you left......"

Back to the Past 

Vatu was trying to cheer her up by taking many places; the amusement park, the restaurant, comic store and the game arcade but none of it is making jinmay happy. Jinmay stared at the sky still thinking about zane who she was mourning over him, Vatu went to her and said, "C'mon jinmay you have to get a hold of yourself. And you can't stop being the spirit master, its your duty." "I know but how can i? I'm suppose to protect everyone and bring hope but i couldn't even save one of them. Zane was like a brother to me and now he's gone, I can't move on. Beside Rava doesn't care about it, she only cares about herself."Jinmay said in sad expression. Vatu placed his hand on her shoulder. "Jinmay we both have hard times but Rava i don't know why she doesn't felt it. That doesn't mean you have to do silent treatment from her forever. One day, she might understand how it felt."Vatu assured.

"you mean.....if she cares. *sigh* I missed him so very much even i tried to bring him back but....."

"i know how you feel, I know you have the power to purify and guide spirits but using your spiritual powers to bring back from the past could only distort the balance, even the future. Look what happen to your hair *pointing at jinmay's hair which has white streak* you know what happens when you overuse your spiritual powers, you might....."

"i know i know my life would be in danger and i might become weak. I get it, i must control the power before IT controls me. Its just so hard trying to control my emotions and not only that i couldn't open my true potential...what if i'm stuck like this or....."

"HEy chill, the power takes time to awaken so be patient for now let me get you something to drink after all i mighte help you wash away your sadness."

Jinmay stared back at Vatu with a sad smile, "thx Vatu i appreciate it.....still i won't forgive Rava, not yet ." Vatu moaned as he went to the vendor box while he was about to get a drink until he notice mysterious figure that came out of the alley as he went somewhere Vatu followed him and sense an aura coming from the one he was holding in his sack. Jinmay said who was behind him, "you know it's not polite to spy on others."

"oh jinmay since when did you get here?"

"i notice you left so i followed you so why are you spying on him."

"I don't know but for some reason i felt a farmiliar aura, something is off him. I better called Rava"

"No don't bother. It's best we should follow him."

"BUt...." "If we call her now, he might be gone so I say we go without her."

Vatu notice jinmay is still angry at jinmay, he sighed and decided to follow them. As they followed him to the pier, they peeked to they were two who had some kind of snake markings and one of them has a tomahawk. THey watched to see what that mysterious figure was selling as he brought out two silver robots which made Vatu and JInmay what they hardly recognized; Zane and PIxal who were captured. (probably Ronin from the Shadow of Ronin where he is the one who captured the newly-rebuilt Zane and P.I.X.A.L. and sold them to Master Chen)

"i can't believe it's Zane.....it is really ZAne."JInmay said with amaze. "yeah Zane's essence somehow must have transfered into borg's tower. JInmay, your power not only bring back to life but made him different. Rava is soooo going to be freaked out when she sees it." Vatu comment.

"Yeah look they're taking them to the boat i wonder where it goes. C'mon we're going to follow them."

"but can't you wait for Rava?"

"And compromised the mission forget it, We're going with or without her."

"*sigh* ok your the boss"as they snuck into the boat without noticing, they hid behind the boxes while Vatu was eating something from the merchandise which gave jinmay a frown on her face. "WHat!! I'm hungry ok...um you want one."she rolled her eyes as she peeked through boxes and see an island. As they arrive on the island, they watched as they took two robots away. Vatu used fog to hide them where no one can't see them. As they became visible jinmay stared at the temple palace.

"that's strange i never seen it on th map, no one ever mentioned about a temple on the island." JInamy said.

"hey check it out turns out these merchandise belong to a noodle shop and the man who is charge....it says Chen "Vatu stated.

"ok I don't who Chen is but let's find zane and that robot girl, then get out of here. I can't wait the looks on the ninja's face when they see him."

"Hey jinmay your not going sneak in there wearing black t-shirt and blue pants, even a bonnet and a silver scarf that your still wearing. What if anyone see you?"

"Vatu I'm a shinobi and I'm always stay out of sight. Just be stealthy and don't get caught."

"that's what i'm afraid."

They followed two cultist leading into a underground cavern, it was kinda dark and creepy. While walking Vatu tripped over something as he turned to see a skeleton head. Vatu was startled at first as he run towards jinmay which made them fell. "Vatu watch where your going. Do you want us to be caught"jinmay said softly. "Sorry it's just that i felt a chill."Vatu said.

"Oh great thx to you we lost them and now we're lost. It's like a maze down here, can you use your Aura to see?"

Vatu nodded as he touched on the ground to pick up some Aura waves (like bats where they used sonar to detect) he looked through every tunnel each and one of them. Vatu opened his eye and they went left, it took long until they reached the dead end. JInmay groaned, "ok Vatu you led me to a dead end. What else?"VAtu stared at the wall confusely, "that's strange last time i check, there wasn't a wall here." Jinmay tried to punch on the wall but she felt the pain as she hold her hand, "Ow ok that wasn't the smartest idea." she said feeling regretful. Vatu chuckled and notice something is not right about the wall when he touched it, it feels rough like scale. He blinked and realize it quickly as he backed away, "Jinmay we need to go now." the ground began to shake "What...what was that? Vatu" jinmay said worriedly. "I don't know...whatever it is i don't think this wall isn't wall, its a scale."

"Wait, scale wall why would they have......"jinmaye stopped as they turned to see two red eyes coming out from the dark which turns out to be a Giant purple snake. JInmay and Vatu screamed as they run through the tunnels caausing the snake to chase after them. Vatu looked over his shoulder to see it was still chasing them. "It's gaining on us, jinmay use your teleportation."he said. "HEllo how can i while we're still running?"jinmay said back to him. As they made it on the middle where they were tunnels, Vatu and jinmay realize the purple snake trick them so it can surround them. Jinmay asked, "Now what are we going to do?"Vatu looked for another tunnel but it kept on slithering around blocking every tunnels. VAtu said looking determine, "Well if we can't go around or through it, Let's take the shortcut. Ancient Claw" as his hand fomred some kind dark claw particle around it and placed it on the ground causing it to crumble beneath their feet as they fell.

Both of them cough as the dust cleared away, "oh nice one Vatu but next time a little warning."jinmay suggested. "Sorry!"Vatu said until the alarm went off which they realize they're in big trouble. They saw three or four men as they started chasing them, "so much for being stealth, huh"Vatu stated which made jinmay groaned. As they reached to the tunnel, Jinmay notice that they weren't chasing them. "that's strange why aren't they chasing us? "jinmay wondered. "what do you think Vatu? Vatu?"she turned to Vatu who looks trembling. "uh dude I think you spoke so soon."Vatu said. Jinmay stared at where Vatu was looking at, turns out there was a man wearing some kind of robe and he wasn't alone; he has his men with him, "it would seem we have an unexpected visitors. Too bad beacuse both of you aren't leaving here.....alive"the man in robe said.

They shuddered at his word when he cast some kind of dark energy and blasted on them. They dodged which 4 mens were out to get Vatu while jinmay deal with the man in robe.

"Woah what was that dark energy?" ,jinmay said.

"Very observant you are but I would prefer black magic...i am Clouse master of dark arts. But this will be your last."the man in robe said. JInmay was about to use her spiritual powers until Vatu spoke in her head. 'Jinmay, it's best don't use your spiritual power, remeber your still weak and it needs time to restore your power. So you better fight your way instead.' 

'do i have to?' jinmay mumbled as she brought out her shimu staff and got into her fighting stance. Clouse saw her move as he cast another spell but this time look like energy shard shooting from his hand. Jinmay twirled her staff to blocked attack.  The four men attack Vatu with their weapons but Vatu used his katana to knock them out which made them fainted thinking he was going for the kill. Vatu went back into helping jinmay as he was about to high kick him but somehow he grabbed Vatu by the foot and tossed him at jinmay. "Ow Vatu" jinmay said as she help him get on his feet. "sorry" Vatu replied. they got into their fighting stance and lunged at Clouse however what they did not know know that someone was watching them from behind, "Ooohh interesting two against one, this is going to be entertaining." says the man holding a staff. Jinmay do the uppercut on left side while Vatu do the High kick on the right side but Clouse somehow manage to avoid their attacks and knock both of them at the same time. Jinamy and Vatu were pushed back as they took their breath at the opponent. Vatu notice jinmay's limit is about to reached so he spoke to her through mind.

'At this rate, jinmay we're both gonna exhaust ourselves and your strength is about to give. What should we do? Beside that guy is good, he fights like a pro.'

'Vatu don't get so impressed, i have to think of something. Hm.....I know Vatu listen I'm going to use future vision to tell you what he was going to do....when he lose his guard, i'm going to use my shimu staff to hit him hard.'

Both of them nodded at each other with their serious expression, Jinmay grabbed her staff and stand down, resting. Clouse staring at her confusely until Vatu attacked him first hand. Clouse was about to cast another spell to defeat Vatu when....

"Vatu....30 degree angle to the left and deflect 90 degree angle on the middle using your katana." jinmay instructed.

Vatu did what she was told and he did dodge the blast, he grabbed his katana and deflect right at Clouse. Clouse saw it and ducked away, he got up looking infuriated as he cast another spell. Jinmay looked through her future vision with her eyes glowing and shouted, "Careful.....He's going to blast from above."

Vatu saw it and dodge away, the man with a staff behind and complained, "What....how...were they keep doing that." Vatu and jinmay plan was working progress since Clouse was focusing on Vatu, Jinmay saw an opening and grabbed her shimu staff as she about to do sneak attack behind him. However, the man in the staff saw her as he blasted ice power (that belong to Zane) at her legs. "What the?! where that come from?" jinmay said making her drop the shimu staff. Vatu eye's widened that their plan backfired. Clouse saw his chance as he blasted at Vatu making him collapse onto the ground. Clouse said, "You think you can do sneak attack, pathetic. I don't know how you do that but It would seem your stuck now watch what happens to intruders." They felt a rumble on the ground until it came out of the tunnel which made their face showed in terror. It was the giant purple snake that chased them as it grabbed Vatu by a tail and gave him a squeeze tight. Jinmay said with a scarred expression, "NO, Let go of him." Clouse said, "don't worry as soon as my pet finish with him, you'll be next." 

"Vatu!"     "Listen you gotta escape! go without me!"

"NO i can't leave you, Don't do this to me"   

 "Dude....I can't move, I'm sorry. But y'know it was fun when it lasted"

Clouse gave malicious look, " How touching, Friends to the very end." Jinmay looked through Vatu's eye seeing terror and worry. She could not bear to see her faithful companion to be gone, she lost the one who couldn't saved. As her tears came out from her eyes, she couldn't take this sadness inside. As the purple snake is about to eat him when suddenly they felt a breeze even though there is no wind. Vatu opened one eye to that her hair began to glow as the power was surging through her body. Clouse turned to her also that he felt a tremendous power coming from her. The ice began to melt at her legs as she slowly lifting her head, revealing two pure purple eyes. Vatu realize she has gone to a spiritual power. Clouse backed away from her with a stunned look, as her face darkened almost like her blood pressure rise as her anger peaked. Jinmay blast the purple snake tail forcing it to let go of Vatu. She moved very fast to catch Vatu safely into jinmay's arm.

Vatu stared at her weakly. ' jinmay' Vatu thought, wondering if she's still there. As she gently put Vatu down and turned to the giant purple snake. The purple snake hissed at her as she show a piercing gaze. The purple snake is about to attack her but jinmay clenched her fist as the spiritual energy emitting from her and suddenly a blast of light blinded. Vatu slowly got up to see what happen as he suddenly saw something incredible. Jinmay didn't used the power of elements but a spiritual entity  that he could not believe he saw. Clouse was speechless as well when he recognize that entity, "That's...."  Vatu finished, "the spirit....of the Great Devour. How was she able to....?"

Jinmay's eye was still glowing, somehow she must have shown the spirit of the great devour by using her spiritual power. The two serpents met eye to eye, the purple snake recognize the serpent before as it slitered away. The entity of the great devour faded away and jinmay slowly floated down onto the ground. Jinmay came back to reality not realizing what happen as she turned to see Vatu was safe and walk towards him however she started to slow down her pace, as she started to see hazy and slowly lost feeling her Feet. she fell on her knees and then fell backwards. Vatu manage to catch her, "Hey, wake up. Stay with me."Vatu said worriedly as the bonnet fell from her head.

Vatu was shocked when he saw her hair was no longer blue, it was white hair just like his. Vatu thought, 'so that's what Rava meant by consequences. I have to get her out of here.'Vatu carried her in his arms and grabbed the shimu staff as he attempt to escape. But some men appeared in front of them, Vatu couldn't fought back so he dodge them easily until a man with a staff came out and shot ice causing Vatu to slipped and fell, dropping jinmay and the weapon in the process. Vatu was about to get up until he was tasered from behind and dropped on the ground. He tried to reached out to jinmay but he grabbed only her scarf and fainted. Jinmay slowly opening her eyes to see Vatu down, she couldn't see who they were as she heard voices....

"Did you see that?!......she just summoned the great devour."

"Yes, Master. There is something special about this one. What shall we do with the two?"

"Lock him in the dungeon and make sure you take away his weapon. Jinmay barely watch as Vatu was taken away, holding her scarf.

"As for this one.....I have plans for our guest."

JInmay couldn't barely stayed awake as everything around became dark.

Later, as jinmay slowly opened her eyes and felt kinda dizzy, she couldn't remember what happen back there. She slowly got up and notice that she wasn't underground anymore, she was in some kind of room where there is a chair, a table, books and a bed that she was in. JInmay rubbed her head as she got out of bed and walk towards the balcony. 'Since when did i end up in a hotel?'jinmay thought as she opened the door and saw the view of the jungle, not only that also temples too. JInmay suddenly remembered, "Ugh, i forgot i'm still on the island but what happen back there. All i remember seeing Vatu was about to get eaten then......"she exclaimed, "Vatu!" she turned aroudn to see that Vatu wasn't there with her. She let out a depress sigh hoping if he's safe. She saw that she wasn't wearing scarf anymore and has no idea what happen to it but she notice she was wearing something on her head. She head to the mirror to see that she was wearing a black headband, she tried to remove it but to no avail. Not surprisingly, She also saw her hair was white, she touched her hair and realize what Vatu meant by it. "I guess that's what happen when i overused my power."She groaned at herself when a door opened behind her, jinmay turned to see that it was a kabuki lady.

She demand, "where's my companion? And Why am i wearing a headband?" The kabuki lady pay no heed to her question and replied, "I brought you new clothes because you are invited to his banquet. Master Chen will be expecting you so please be ready."as she left. Jinmay said confusely, "Master Chen so i guess he's not just serving noodles at all."she stared at the clothes that was placed on the bed, she lifted the red shirt that has snake markings and purple jeans. She complimented, "Not bad, i guess they have strange test for fashioned except for this printed snake." She wondered if this master chen has some answers so she has no choice. As she finished changing her clothes, she was about to sneak out until she was startle by man in robe in front of her, the one called Clouse. 

"Going somewhere,"Clouse said. JInmay got in her stance as she tried to reach out her weapon but realize she doesn't have it. "Is this your looking for, i presume?"Clouse mentioned as he was holding jinmay's joystick (shimu staff) and put it behind him. Then, she tried to blast lightining at him but nothing came out. Jinmay tried to focuse her power but didn't came out. 'My powers? What happen?'jinmay thought as she stared back at clouse. "Save your strenght, Master Chen is expecting you. I believe you have so many question to ask so i suggest you followed me and all will be answered to you."He said with a gesture leading her to the banquet.

While they were walking, Clouse led her through a large red and gold gate and into the banquet without giving her a chance to examine much else. The inside was lavishly decorated. Paintings with frames of gold and jewels sat on the walls, chandeliers of crystal hung from the ceiling, the floor was covered in plush rugs that had intricate designs woven into them, several small tables were lined against the walls and on them sat vases like which one would see at an art museum, all of which held plants of different varieties and the long table was set as well. She was amazed a little at first but the one thing that stood out to jinmay was the blood red color, the same as the roof, that seemed to be everywhere. She hated it. She had a feeling that something is bound to happen soon, meaning she'd likely be seeing more of the color in her future. She was drawn from her thoughts upon hearing a loud bang. Jinmay turned her head toward the sound. At the other end of the room, two doors flung open and in strode a man. He wore robes of red and black that were adorned with golden designs and something silvery that looked suspiciously like snake scales. A black cape flowed out behind him and on his face he sported a black goatee and matching sideburns. But it was the top of his head that drew her attention. Sitting on top of his head was a serpentine's skull and around it looked like the tail of what he could only guess was the same serpentine. Not for the first time, she felt a chill run down from her spine. She unwittingly took a step backwards as he approached her with the look of a predator that just cornered their prey. Out of the corner of her eye jinmay saw Clouse bow slightly to the man and quickly copied his movement.

"Master." Clouse addressed. "As asked, our guest arrived."

'Guest? Yeah right more like prisoner. So that's Chen'Jinmay mumbled, rolling her eyes.

"Well done, Clouse." Chen stared at me for a moment, then chuckled, "Who would thought a boy and his accomplice could sneak in on my island. Oh thank the lucky star." JInmay stared at Chen who was laughing with a obstinate look. She hated where everyone thinks she's a boy so she hide her expression so that he won't notice. "Oh ho ho Forgive me i can't help myself. Come come have a seat and try out the feast, i'm pretty sure you must be weary from all that fight."Chen said as he guided jinmay to the table. JInmay was seated as she stared at the food, it was lavishly and very exquesite. It was her first time eating in a banquet so she tried out the food and it was delicious, she never tasted it before. Jinmay stared back Chen and Clouse who was just observing her. Jinmay don't know what to say when Chen spoke, "you were wondering what happen to your powers? Well, you see i have it right here and took it from you."showing the staff to jinmay which made her eye's widened when she saw it. 'So he stole my powers using the staff.' jinmay narrowed her eyes at the staff then at Chen as he continued, "I know your an elemental master but.....there's something about you. You see according to Clouse, I may not know what powers you have or where you came from. But i know what you really have......You posses the power ti see the future, don't you?"

Jinmay was shocked that how did he realize that, Chen saw her reaction and said, "You were right Clouse, just as we thought. I tried to use your power but all it does was blast energy. It seems your future vision power is stiil with you.It's a shame i don't have that ability to see the future." Jinmay was glad that her eye of ages wasn't taken away but her spiritual power did without it she can't even use elements or even teleport her way out. She stood up from her table and asked," Why? What are you trying to do?". As he stood up from his seat and walk towards jinmay following Clouse who was still holding her weapon.

"You want me to tell you my evil plan? Okay!" Chen exclaimed gleefully. "In a few months I will invite all the elemental masters to my island for a Tournament of Elements. During the tournament I will slowly eliminate the masters and steal their power. Once I have the power of all the elements, I can cast a spell to turn me and all my followers into Anacondrai, the fiercest of serpentine warriors. Then I shall take over Ninjago." 'Tournaments of element!? it's just like from my vision, it's coming ture' Jinmay thought and took a step back but notice Clouse was behind her, she saw her weapon in his hand then turned to Chen hoping she might had a chance. "Master, was it safe to tell him your whole plan? What if he escapes?" Clouse asked.Oh, Clousey-Clouse, you worry too much." Chen replied, patting Clouse on the cheek. "he won't want to escape. In fact, he's going to help me."

"Help you? Ha! Like that will never happen." She yelled as she saw her chance and grabbed the shimu staff morph into a dagger from Clouse and was about to lunged at Chen. However, Chen had a trick on his sleve and chuckled. "That is where you're wrong." Jinmay was about to attack him but she felt a electrical surge from her head making her dropped her dagger reverting back into a staff. Jinmay bend her knees, clenching her head in pain as she opened one eye. "What...did you do to me?" She said agony. Chen knelt down to her and said, "you see that headband planted on you.....It restrains your physical actions towards me. It's like an obedient control so don't bother trying, it might make things worst."She gritted her teeth showing anger towards him as he picked up her weapon, "I'm amazed this weapon can morph into anything not even i can't make it work. But what really amaze me is how you call forth the spirit of the great devour that was destroyed."

Jinmay stared at him with confusion, "call forth? Great Devour? what I don't remeber doing that."

"You mean...you didn't know what happened"

Jinmay shooked her head and said, "I don't what you mean......All i remember is seeing my companion in trouble then everything became dark and i felt my power almost like it was breaking free. After that, I couldn't remeber anything except waking up from a room."

"Ah, You've experience a power surging through your body. When i saw you fighthing with Clouse and his pet, I was inspired by the power you unleasged. Instead you embrace the power by showing the great devourer. that's what made me so motivated to see a defenseless boy. "

Jinmay looked down on her hand and realize the reason she couldn't remember is because she let her emotion get the best of her causing the power to be released. She felt ashamed for letting it happen, even bring back someone precious to her. She doesn't know whether to believe it or not.

"And now what....what are you going to do to me?"she asked

Chen grinned at her, "I told you before that your going to help me, when i saw that power, I knew i saw a great potential in you."

"What are you saying?"

"I want you to become my pupil"

"Me? Your pupil?"

"Yes, someone who has great potential. I had a pupil once then betrayed me even though he has potential but you.....your different from others. No one appreciates you for the things you do, do they? You might have one of the strongest elements in existence, but why should anyone bother with you? They don't think you're special. They just think you're a waste of space. To them, you don't have any special place in the team. You're just there to get them into trouble.

She slowly got up on her feet and fold her arms in the chest. She looked away with a frown, rather hurt by Chen's words.

"Not all, My friends would never think that," she muttered. "My friends care about me, they always have."

"in your point of view, yes but to them, you're nothing but a weight that holds them all down. Not to me, though! I know how much potential you truly have. The way I see it, your teammates are the ones holding you back from being more powerful than you could ever imagine!"

Jinmay made a tight grip on her arms and turned to him , "So my friends don't think I have any potential, but you do? I guess no one understand me, even i made it right i just messed up"

Chen gave a malicious smile and said,"Become my pupil, I could teach you more and give you what you want; power and wealth."

JInmay took a stepped back by chen's offer, she looked away with an undecided look. She knew he was trying to manipulate her and took advantage of her weakness. BUt she wasn't sure whether he was using her.

Chen sighed, "i see you wanted to think about my offer. Of course take your time *he gave back the staff to her* I'll let you have it back and to show my gratitude i'll let your roam around the temple, even the jungle whether you like."

Clouse asked, "Are you sure master? Your going to let him roam around the area?"

"Relax, that headband around his head will prevent him from escaping or betraying me. Beside, he doesn't have powers to leave the island and he can't leave without his faithful companion."

Jinmay exclaimed when he's talking about Vatu, "Where is he? What did you to him?"

"Easy there, he's fine for now so if you want to see him again. think wisely and consider my offer to you. I'll be waiting for your answer. Clouse, show her around place, would you?"

After the banquet, Clouse and jinmay walking along the hallway. JInmay couldn't help that Chen was thoughtful in giving back her weapon and taking a tour aorund the area and rooms, it was quite obvious he wanted to persuade her. It was small and the majority of it seemed to be occupied by a thick jungle. The area that wasn't covered in vegetation was home to an ornate looking palace. The walls were an ivory white color, but the roof was red, the exact shade of red. Jinmay tried not to think about it. The whole palace was surrounded by a stone wall, upon which guards patrolled. She sighed and realize there is no way that she could escape or find Vatu and Zane in that tight security, it would be impossible. While they were walking, they came to a stop and clouse opened the door that leads to the courtyard. Clouse turned to her with unamused look, "You have to forgive my master, sometimes he gets a little jumble and not to mentioned that he didn't realize your a girl."

JInmay said, little offended, "Really? if you knew all along, you could have told him."

"Even if i do, it won't amused him. Here's the courtyard and don't try to escape as long you have that control headband on you."

She humphed, "Well sorry, I'm pretty sure he might be enjoying and thinking me as a boy."

As clouse left, Jinmay sat on the rock and her thoughts was a jumbled mess. There was no way in a million years, in a million lifetimes, that he would ever even think of becoming his pupil and betraying her people, and surely Chen knew that. She was not a traitor, not an enemy the others had to be afraid of. Jinmay tried to use her power but not working and even she tried to remove the headband, she felt a eletric surge shocking from her head and it was painful.

Then, She began to have second thoughts. It felt like such a long time since he left her hom, and she could barely remember the day she first started her journey. Surely it wouldn't hurt if she sided with Chen just so she could learn more, right? Surely her companions would understand, considering they knew as much about the spirit master as she did. But Rava she wouldn't understand how she felt due to the loss of Zane however she was glad he's back. Not only that, but from the sounds of things Chen truly thought she had the potential to be as strong, possibly even more so. It was risky to believe Chen thought this way, but the idea that someone had such a faith in her was refreshing, considering the most her was getting from anyone nowadays was nothing but grief. Of course, this was Chen she was dealing with. Whether she would become his student or not was a completely different story. He was untrustworthy, sneaky, and utterly unpredictable. There was no telling what he would do, whether he would turn around and stab jinmay in the back once she'd fulfilled her purpose, possibly literally. Again, it would be a risky move to trust Chen on anything, and she'd have to be extremely cautious around him if she did join with him.

As jinmay was about t doubt herself until her eyes turn purple. Somehow the eye of ages is showing her, this time she wasn't in chen's island anymore she is in some kind of mindspace but different. She was in flower fields again then she saw purple butterflies flying around her. "It's good to see you again."a voice said. JInmay turned around and saw a lady in a kimono again. "It's you again,"JInmay said. (Bold is interruption)

Rava: Wait, you met the lady by the power of eye. How is that....?

Jinmay: Do you mind I'm still telling you my flashbacks. Now where was I? Oh yes, the lady said.....

"I sense you have saved someone from the cruel fate."

"Well yeah ever since Zane sacrifice, I felt irresponsible that i couldn't save him. When i saw my friends are in grieved, I thought of bringing him back so that ninjas are back to being a team again. I thought it didn't work but when i saw Zane alive, i was glad to him again."

"YEs, you did but you shouldn't have change it"

"huh what do you mean? I save Zane from his fate"

"It's true you save him but there's a consequences, what you did was interfering with destiny and distorting the balance."

JInmay eye's widened, "what.....but why?"

The lady in kimono answered, " Because using your spiritual power to bring back from the dead could only drained your lifeforce and your energy. It would have been dangerous, your lucky that your still here. That's not all, changing their fate could cause another effect as well. When you saved someone from it's fate, soon another one will take it's place. "

"So you mean to say, i saved Zane from his fate then someone will take his place. It can't be.....I don't want that to lose anyone. It's not fair, why does fate have to be difficult?"as jinmay knelt down on her knees and cried.

The lady crouched down beside her and lift her face, wiping jinmay's tear from her left eye.

"I know some times fate can be a cruel fate but every destiny has their own role. Just like how i fulfilled my duty, Sacrifices can be in vain just to save those who cannot save themselves. You will understand one day, for now you have other duty to fulfilled; that is protecting your friends."

Jinmay looked up at her and said, "Well, it is my destiny as the spirit master." as she stood up and she notice the flower fields began to disappear, even the purple butterflies as well. The lady closed her eyes and said, "It would seem we do not have much time or maybe.....the eye of ages has reached its limit. Jinmay protect your friends, have faith in them and good luck."as the darkness around them began to shroud them. JInmay tried to reached out to her but she felt like she was drifting away.

"Don't go, I have so much to ask you. Why are telling me this? My eye can only let me see the future but yet you appeared and help me. Hold on....I want to know something......Who are you?"

The lady stood there and gave a smile, "Oh jinmay you may know me already, one day you'll know who i am."as the image faded. JInmay came back from reality and realize she was back on the courtyard. She may not have powers but she can still see spirits who were still roaming around. She asked the spirits whether she saw her friends and the spirits nodded. As the spirits disperse, Jinmay wanted to save her friends and ninjago but not with the control headand on her head so thought of something. Beside, she was working on her own plan to stop Chen, and it could only be accomplished by doing one thing, and one thing only. 

She left the courtyard and hurried down the hallway, she passed several other paintings on the way, which caught her attention. She saw the painting of an anacondrai warrior, it is quite scary though and pretty soon Chen and his follower will take over ninjago. As she reached the room, she opened the door and saw Chen was waiting for her the whole time. Chen turned at the sound of the door, smirking as jinmay approached. "Have you thought about my little offer, Boy?" Trying to look confident in her decision, "I've been thinking and i have decided...."as she finally nodded. "Yes.....I will become your pupil."JInmay was kinda disgusted of what she said, even though she regreted. The malicious grin she received in reply frightened her somewhat, but she couldn't let it show, not when she had a chance to gain Chen's trust enough to learn their plan. "Just what I should expect from a young boy, but if you try any tricks you might get a shock" "I' ll keep that in mind."Jinmay muttered even in spite of being called a boy, nodded response. Chen turned to Clouse who just came, "Good that's how i wanted to hear, Now Clouse here will be training you and all the tactics i taught him."

"If you insist.....Chen."jinmay said, merely rolling her eyes. Clouse narrowed his eyes and reminded, "you are his pupil now so you will addressed him as master and respect him."

Jinmay stared at them with a disatified look, she doesn't like it so she replied, "I mean yes......Master Chen."

"That's a good boy, i almost forgot.....I haven't got your name."Chen asked, clapped his hand togther.

Jinmay turned her face to think of a name, she can't reveal her name and she can't tell them she is the spirit master since they did think she blast energy only and an elemental master. So, she took a deep breathe and answerd, "My name is......Rajah."

Rava: So you took his offer just to infiltrate and a plan to stop him. Even disguise your name

JInmay: yeah but the problem is....not with the headband that's restraining me. So i have to wait and find a way......

She was training under Clouse who was training her but it was quite difficult though compared to her uncle from her home. However, she was not allowed to use her weopon so she placed on her wrist morphing into a bracelet. She thought that she will used he staff later only when the right time comes."in this training you will stop at nothing to defeat your enemy. Use every technique at your disposal, and don't hold back, even if it means their life must end at your hands." He said when jinmay raised an eyebrow in surprise. She was against it even she want to defy it but the headband somehow made it painfully. She has to play along for now even she doesn't like it. He taught her everything he knows, she suspect that Chen had taught him well. 

She followed Clouse into tunnel when his pet appeared before them. Jinmay staggered back when she recognize the serpent as the serpent recognize her to. It coiled around her which made jinmay shuddered as closed her eyes waiting for her end but instead it nuzzled her. Jinmay was kinda frightened as she gently touch the serpent's face. "huh, what's it doing?"she turned to CLouse. He grin, "my pet likes you since when you show the enity of the great devour. And now it seems to grow attach to you." Jinmay gave a perplexed look, "Oh terrific, just terrific." she mumbeled.

Not only that, Clouse offer to taught her the ways of Dark arts. She never dare learn black magic before, not for bad things. However, if she wants to keep up the charade she has no choice but to learn it.

Rava: Dark Arts?! Mistress you should know that move is not suitable for a spirit master. Beside, black magic might corrupt you.

Jinmay: Hey, i didn't said i like it. Don't worry.....i got it under control before. Well, apparently almost.

After trying to learn them, it was so simple for her much to Clouse impression, she even force to read book of spells. Later, She was about test out her dark arts by focusing on the dummy. Clouse said to her, "the only way to do it is let it control them before they control it. Now, focus and embrace the power."She glared at CLouse then at the dummy. What exactly did he mean by "let it control them, before they can control it"? The phrase didn't make any sense. How could she trust him when he said things like that? She never like the idea as she focused the black magic forming around her hand and blasted at the dummy with the cloud dark magic. It fizzled around the dummy for a moment, before it exploded into millions of wooden shards. Jinmay eye's widened when she did that. "Woah....Did I....do that?"she said to herself as she stared at her hand. It was cool and strong attack but she has to be careful getting used to it. NOw she understand when he met the power, the more she learn dark magic the more her mind might corrupt. Clouse gave a grin , "Well done it seems you've learned fast but you still have a lot to learn."Jinmay turned away making her feel uneasy.

The next day, She was sparring with CLouse whether she might be able succeed. She attempted to block every punch and kick Clouse sent his way, which was difficult to do since she'd never faced an actual opponent before, and all of her blows were blocked in the same manner. She saw an opening as she leapt at him but merely doged by stepping aside without even blinking. She stumbled to regain her footing, but Clouse was much faster, kicking her square in the back and knocking her into the wall. She regained herself as she stared at Clouse who happened to be standing in front of her. "I doubt you could ever do that or doged it but your skills are lacking."CLouse chuckle as he continued, "Well now! It appears as though you need to sharpen your skills. I wouldn't be surprised if you become just as good as you are by tomorrow."As he turned to leave, he called over her shoulder, "Continue training out here, Chen expect to see more improvement from you! If you can manage that is...."

She glared after him, then turned to the course, jinmay seemed somewhat taken aback by his word. 'if you manage that is....'she thought bitterly. 'We'll see about that.' She turned and leapt up to tackle the first part of the training course. She leapt over the obstacles meant to impede her, kicked dummies and punching bags out of the way to clear a path, weaved effortlessly among the various structures, before landing before them again. She had cleared the course but she slipped and fell flat on the ground, she groaned herself. While she was about to continue until she heard two soldiers behind her (probably Kapau and Chope), they seem to be making fun of her.

Kapau said, "Check him out, thinking he's good and now he just fell flatly. Some student he is, unlike the previous one."

Jinmay gave an obstinate look coz those two didn't know she was actually girl even she may look like a boy with white hair.

Chope said, "Yeah i mean look at him, he's a complete klutz and overconfident too much."

Jinmay tried to concentrate and ignore them but they just laughed at her which made it more irritated. She turned to those two and glared at them, folding her arms across her chest. "Ok, then bozos you wanted to make fun out of me. Well, if that's what you want, then I'll be happy to give it to you!"She run towards the two men and tackled Chope on the ground.

They wrestled for a while, CHope trying to dislodge her, but to no avail. Kapau on the other hand was right behind her, "We're not about to lose to a newbie who doesn't even know the rules yet!" he grabbed her legs, then flung her across the ground, halfway across the training area. Jinmay slowly got to her feet, forcing back a wince as they squared her up. "Yeah we're not about to lose to someone who is no more than a klutz boy!" Chope said. Jinmay wiped her face with her backhand and thought she had found an opening and was about to attack, but in doing so, she left an opening for them, who took the chance to tackle her to the ground.

At that moment, Chen and Clouse came out from behind the doors to the training course. "Oh, Clouse we're just checking how was he improv-" He stopped himself upon seeing the scene before him, was two soldier men pinning down at jinmay. She tried to struggle but couldn't free herself. Clouse asked, "Do you want me to stop them?" "No....I want to see how Rajah can do?"Chen suggest. As they stood there and observe her action.

"Get your filthy hands.....OFF ME,"she said, revealing her bloodlust look in her eyes which made the two soldier flinched. Clouse could've sworn he saw her eyes flicker to a brighter purple momentarily, but he couldn't be sure. Either way, they watched as she fired a shot of dark magic at Kapau, which made him tossed across the area leaving Chope with her. Jinmay soon had his arms pinned above his head, his legs straddling Chope's hips to prevent him from moving. She was about to finish him but snapped out of her bloodlust and realized what she has done as she let go of the cultist causing him to backed away from her with a look of terror and fear. She never felt that way before, she almost used her bloodlust to hurt them. It is something she shouldn't embrace so she snarled at them with her terrifying look. Jinmay hissed, "Mess with me or you won't live to see tomorrow." as the two soldier run from the scene.

It was a long, scary moment until she heard clapping behind. She turned around to see that CHen and Clouse have seen the whole thing. "Your right Clouse she really does have talent, I'm impress you taught her well."Chen said in remarked. Clouse said with a proud look, "Well done Rajah, it seems you've done well."JInmay narrowed her eyes at them then at herself, she felt kinda guilty for hurting them. She felt a touch behind the shoulder upon hearing Clouse'voice behind her ear, "I know it's bad but pretty soon you will learn to like it." which made her heart feel frightened.

End of Flashback

Rava sighed with worried, "Mistress, using your bloodlust just to attack them was dangerous.""hey, i couldn't help it. One time i was pinned by those two soldiers then suddenly i felt like mind was clouded almost like it wanted it to loose. When i was about to finish him, I realize it wasn't me so i stopped myself."

Rava looked down at her legs. She was silent for a long time. As she turned to her,"It must have been black magic, It can take over your mind. Give you hallucinations. Drive you to do things you never desire to do. It takes all your anger and sadness and uses it as a weapon."

"That does explain why i wasn't myself back there. I guess i should be careful."

"THere's one thing i don't understand, if you were planing all along. You could have told me."

"even if i did CHen and Clouse will suspect that or worst compromise it. I was about to put the plan in motion until i saw you at the banquet. I realize you took part of the tournament."

Flashback

During the Versus

She watched as Rava defeated Tox, as she left the arena then turned to me. Their eyes met, she knew that if she recognize her then her plan will be ruined as turn away. Everytime they cross paths and she kept saying cruel things to rava to make her tense so she won't suspect a thing. As she was walking through the hallways when she bumped into Clouse.

"Oh forgive me clouse" as she walk around him, he clutch her wrist and turn her face at him. Clouse said, "For some reason, You seemed to have tension to this master of air. I wonder why is that?" She realize Clouse was onto her so she come up with an excuse, "Let's just say I found myself a competiton, this master of air is ver strong and even better than me." she clenched her fist and gave a disapprove look. Clouse notice her look as he let go of her wrist, she stared at him when he finally mused, "It would seem i'm not the only one who shared the same thing." then left the hallway. Making jinmay sighed in relief and confused as well.

During the Ninja roll

Clouse told her to stop lloyd, she know she's against it but if she don't her headband will. So she did his bidding by casting spells to create pillars to stop lloyd, luckily Rava was taking seriously that she told her to help lloyd. She has to make it look good so she kept doing what she meant to do by just acting to make it look aggressive. She hate to admit that RAva put up a good fight, it was her first dealing with her spirit guardian. after Lloyd won, she was glad lloyd won and she can't help but notice Rava isn't getting along with the ninja. She realize that she still doesn't want help, she wanted do it alone. That's what i hated, seeing Rava focusin alone. which made me frustrated when a shadow loomed behind me.

I turned to see Clouse was infront of her with a serious look. "Do not worry, Rajah this was just a minor setback, I'll have to teach more so that you can be strong enough to take down your rival." Jinmay's eye widened what he was talking about then she realize that clouse thinks Rava and her were bitter rivalry. Clouse said, "I was once like you, trying to surpass my rival garmadon and humiliated me. which made infuriated but you....i'll make sure i 'll help you surpass her." Jinmay wanted to leave but she can't, as his eyes pierce into her eyes almost like she was paralyze. As he placed both his arms on her shoulder and draw her closer to his menacing face as he mentioned, ""Remember, you will stop at nothing to defeat your enemy. Use every technique at your disposal, and don't hold back, even if it means their life must end at your hands. And You will do what it takes to win "

Her heart was beating fast as he let go of her and said, "Come....we still have lot to do." she felt scared and yet very threatening by his obsession in defeating garmadon.

ENd of flashback

"That's why i had no choice but to provoke you, to make it look like we're fighting each other. You could have seen Clouse, he was so obsess in beating garmadon. I guess he thinks i'm just like him that we both have bitter rivalrys."

"Why can't you comunicate me through thoughts?"

"Hey, Everytime i try to communicate but i felt the headband was electrocuting me, making it feel cruciating. I also tried to warn garmadon about jay and cole, as i made it back in my room with pain in my head causing me to faint. I thought the only way to communicate you is through fighting however after all the fight you didn't relize me, all you did was focusing on yourself instead. It's like your not taking it serious, That's why."

Rava looked down at herself looking ashame coz she realize that she was so focus on the fight, she has forgotten her duty. All this time, she was fighting not only jinmay but the herself. As she stood up, clencing her fist as she stared at jinmay. "Mistress, forgive me....i was so focus on finding you and Vatu instead i was challenging myself."

Jinmay sighed and stood up as she grabbed her staff and tap lightly at Rava's head. Rava touched her head where she hit and curious about her action."Next time when i try to give clues, pay attention."Jinmay reminded. Rava was about to ask another question until they saw the explosion. They let out a gasp when they saw it, "i guess the day of the tournament has ended *puts her hood on and placed her staff into morph bracelet* I guess better get back before he finds out."jinmay said as she was about to leave but Rava grabbed her wrist. "BUt mistress you can't go back there. We have to find Vatu." Rava mentioned. "Don't worry i heard Vatu escape from his cell thx to Zane and Cole. Right now if you see him, tell him to go back to the factory to help the elementel masters." jinmay assured as she try to let go but rava's grip was tight as she asked, "Rava let go of me. If they find out i wasn't there, they'll suspect something." Mistress, i was glad to see you again but i cannot let you go off doing like this. It was too risky, it's best that you leave this island so that you can be safe."Rava said worriedly.

"Really? Just like how you left Zane to perished."Jinmay recalled. Rava was taken back by jinmay's word when she mentione about Zane as she continued, "You haven't change, do you? Just because i'm not allowed to change somone's faith or bring back the past, doesn't mean i can't sit by and do nothing. Beside, i saw in my vision that lloyd is in danger and i can't just leave him."She broke free from rava's grip as she turned around and said vaguely, "Oh by the way, Clouse realize that you are not the master of air so watch your backs." As she run off leaving Rava stood motionless, she looked at her hand and ponder about herself. 'I thought i finally i found her but yet.....why am i losing her?' Rava thought. She felt that Jinmay is getting farther distance from her almost like she began to doubt her trust.

As she kept pondering when someone bumped behind her, she turned around to see Vatu looking exasperated. "Oh there you are *pant* finally i found you. I can't believe you just participate the game while i was locked up in the cage *pant* *pant* waiting for someone to find me. *pant* That's not important right now, they took all the elemental master and i think I know they're gonna do."Vatu said looking frantic. Rava said, "Easy vatu I know what they're planing. Mistress explained everything to me." Vatu said meekly, "Wait you saw jinmay?"

Rava explained everything Vatu about jinmay's plan. Vatu said dryly, "woah let me get this straight.....jinmay was in undercover and she wants me to go back to the factory. You gotta be kidding me?"

"We have no choice, we have to follow her orders. Meanwhile, I'm going back to Chen's temple to find her again."as she was about to leave but upon hearing Vatu's voice. "you didn't tell her, did you?"he questioned.

"No, i didn't. It was my duty to protect her but yet i feel like a distance from her. I don't understand why would she do risky plan?"

"Rava, you should know something. Someone once said, 'a ninja never leave a ninja's side'  in other words she can't leave her friends behind, even the ones she cared."

"*sigh* it seems i know her intention but i can't tell her about my past mistake. It would....."

"Hey it's better late than never. If that's your descision, i won't force you but remember pretty soon jinmay will lose faith in you anymore. Beside, isn't there something than just following orders? Think about it Rava.I know your strong but when your with others, it makes it stronger together"as Vatu took off into the jungle.

Rava lowered her head thinking about what he said. She wondered whether to tell but if jinmay discover about her past mistake, will she accept it? As she head back to Chen's temple.

Not very far, Nya was running through the island when she bumped into Lloyd."They took Jay, they took everyone!" Nya informed."Slow down, Nya." Sensei Garmadon said."You're the only one left, Lloyd. You're the only one who could stop it!" Nya continued, handing the green ninja a rolled up piece of paper."Stop what?" Lloyd asked as he opened the piece of paper, examining it."A transformation spell..it can't be!" Garmadon exclaimed."A transformation? Transform into what?" Lloyd continued to question."An army of Anacondrai. The tournament may be over, but the next Serpentine War may have just begun." Garmadon answered.

THE FORGOTTEN ELEMENT 

Jinmay's POv

I was still undercover as Rajah, covering my face so that they won't know that my control headband is destroy. The reason i came back is that i had a glimpse from my vision that Lloyd might need help so i stayed back. I wonder whether Rava is taking serious, if not i'm having doubts trusting her.

In the Anacondrai Temple, Clouse, Chen's followers and I stood. Well, Chen's followers were chanting some words as they bowed."Bring in the prisoners." Clouse ordered. One of Chen's followers pulled a lever, opening a door to reveal the remaining contestants. The contestants were led into the area in chains that rendered their powers useless. I notice Lloyd wasn't there so he must be out of reach for now. I observe as most of the Masters lament on the situation of not teaming up sooner, however Jay attempts to keep a positive attitude, still confident that Lloyd'll save them. The group of elementals stopped in front of Skylor, Me, and Clouse, I turned to Skylor who staring at Kai who began to question how she could help her father knowing he'll need her element for the spell. Saying she had no choice, Kai asks who planned to have him fall for her, which surprises Skylor. Funny, that she was blushing.

"All rise for Master Chen!"

The sound of drums and cheering were then heard. From up above, Chen appeared on his throne. He floated down to his minions."Look at me. I'm floating!" Chen boasted when suddenly, the throne fell down a bit. The minions let out a gasp, i shook my head with disappointed. "I got it. I got it."Chen reassured as he finally landed in front of the elemental masters. "I just got distracted by how awesome this place looks. Well done Clouse, you've really set the mood and Rajah good job defeating our...unwanted visitor." Clouse turned to me, "Yes, i'm proud that he reclaims his victory."I looked down on the ground, feeling regretful that I fought Rava and made him believe she defeated her. "And look at this, soon I'll have more power. It's good to be me!" Chen cheered. I let out an annoyed sigh and rolled my eyes. "You may have us, but you still don't have the Green Ninja." Jay pointed out. "Ah yes, I bet right now he'll swoop down to save you in the very last moment and teach me a valuable lesson." Chen said, obviously amused. "Well, I'll wait. I love lessons."

Everyone looked around for the Green Ninja, but he never came. "That's enough, I'm bored. But here's a lesson: Don't be a sore loser. Only one can remain!" Chen stated as I watched he pointed the staff towards the elemental masters, gaining their powers. I felt kinda bad that i just stood there while their powers were taken away but i have to wait for the right moment. "The power is mine, all mine!" Chen exclaimed happily. Upon Chen ordering for the elemental masters to be sent to the factory, when i saw Skylor begs for Kai to be spared saying he can help them which he complies with. Kai was let go while the other elemental masters were led to the factory. I mumbled, "huh I guess that's oppsite attracts."

Rava's POv

Outside, I was near the entrance to the temple. I saw it was heavily guarded by anacondrai guards. I guess I'll have to wait until nightfall, as i stared at my hands again where mistress just let go. I felt devasted that she went off alone, I thought about Vatu's advice. I don't know whether if i tell her or not since all my memories are piecing together one by one. I wondered myself; Why did i become a spirit guardian? What is the reason for me if I cannot protect whose heart was shattered. As i stay hidden and wait patiently when suddenly i sense someone is behind me as i was about to turned around, only to be hit on the head.

VAtu's POv

I was heading back to the factory to help the elemental masters. I don't want to go back there however Cole and Zane did save me from prison so it's the least i can do to return the favor. While i sneaking around, I notice the cultist guards observe Eyezor and complain about his General status. Assuming they need names, they dub themselves Kapau and Chope (the latter choosing it due to his original choice of Maleficium being too difficult to pronounce) only to be shouted at by Eyezor. I snickered as i use my mist power to swiftly passed through the guards. As i made it to the cave that i exited before as i went to the direction.

Jinmay's POv

I was walking along the hallway, following Chen behind showing Kai his trophy collection (containing parts of the Ninjas' past adventures). "A scale from the Great Devourer, Captain Soto's peg leg, a cog from the Celestial Clock, Zane's pink Gi, and this." Chen listed as he, Kai, and I walked through his collection. I was not really paying attention, as i stop and stared at Zane's Pink Gi. "Since when did he get that?..." I mumbled, as i catch up to them.

"Why are you showing us all this? You do realize that if you weren't holding that staff right now, I would strike you down right here." Kai stated, forming his hands into fists. "Skylor was right. Even without your power, the fire burns bright in you." Chen said as the two continued to walk where i began to listen to their conversation.

"Unlike you and my dear Skylor, who inherited her powers from her mother, I was never born with natural abilities or a protector." Chen began to explain. I notice Kai let out a small yawn, showing that he was bored. Huh? I guess listening to Chen makes me bored as well. "I was told I would amount to nothing. But I will show them they are all wrong. Look. I call it: The Charge of the Dark Brigade." Chen said as he gestured to the painting in front of us. I stared at the picture which made my body shiver through my spine, i guess this must be anacondrai warriors who they might become.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? The reds, the purples, the super dark purples. After I defeat your little green friend and take his powers, I will have all the elements I need to conjure a spell that will transform me and my worshipped into Anacondrai!" Chen stated."With you and your friends gone, nothing will stop me! But I've seen inside your head." Chen told Kai, patting the fire ninja's head. "I know you're still jealous Lloyd was chosen to be the Green Ninja." I let out a small gasp, Kai was still upset about that?

"Have you wondered what it felt like to have so much power pulsing through your veins? Yes you have. There is so much potential in you, Kai. I want to give you the chance to find it." Chen continued. "I will never turn on my friends." Kai stated, pushing Chen away."Of course. But what if I also told you there were secrets about your parents that your senseis never told you? Dark secrets." Chen told the fire ninja.

I saw Kai had a surprised look on his face, i was also surprise as well that what he meant by dark secrets? Whatever it is, it's best that i don't wanna know. "My parents? What secrets?" Kai asked, facing Chen."So many questions that can so easily be answered." Chen replied.Just then, Clouse entered the room"Master, it is nightfall. The Green Ninja will be making his move shortly." Clouse informed. Chen faced Kai. "Think about it." He told him before leaving the room with Clouse. Kai looked over the painting, thinking about his offer. I stood there and i knew what Chen was planing; he was planing to manipulate kai into turning against them but i believe that he will never betray his friends.

Kai turned to me and notice that i still here. "Your Rajah huh? Why are you still here? Shouldn't you be following Chen?"I blinked at him, i wanted tell him but i cannot let him know who i am. Howvere, the looks on his face was curious to know. I answered, "no for now, i'm just observing your reaction but i see you have doubts on his offer."

"yeah what about it?"almost like he was surprised that i knew what he was thinking.

"Well, be wary by your choice. Once you did the end of the bargain, Chen might tell you enventually or sooner or later. Deep down you know his words cannot be trusted so i suggest you think wisely. After all, the answer lies in here *pointing at my head*"

"Why are you telling me this? Your Chen's pupil but yet It's like your giving me a chance almost as though......you wanted me to stop him."

I smirked at him and turned around, "Let's just say i have my own ways. After all, we both know what we're after. Beside, I'm more than just his pupil. I hope you find the answer your looking for"as i was about to head back to Chen and Clouse. A minutes later, Kai manage to catch up with us. Chen turned to see with a grin, "So have you thought about my offer?" I stared at Kai's determine face and from the looks of it, it seems he found the answer.

Lloyd's POv

"Remember, destroy the staff and everyone's powers return.You came here to make your team whole. Finish the job." My father encouraged. I nodded and pulled over his hood while Nya launched a grappling hook towards the roof of the palace, it successfully achieved its target. We use the line to travel to the rooftop, taking down a few of Chen's followers in the process. We eventually made it inside the building by sneaking through the window. As we walked, Lloyd accidentally sets off a trip wire. Triggering an alarm. In a few moments, a few of Anacondrai cultists appear but there were too much for the us to handle. So, Nya decided to fight them off while we continued on. As we run past a corner, only to be met by Clouse who was quick to attack us. "Look out!"my father warned as he pushed me out of the way.

I was forced to leave my father behind and enventually fall into another one of Chen's trapdoor into a cave made by Clouse's serpent. As i was about to run until Kai appears and got me out safely just barely avoiding being eaten by the giant serpent. As we were walking through the tunnels, he advises me of the situation and plan, but I refuses and told him I needs to face Chen. As he faced me, I notice Kai's sad expression.

With that, Kai blows out his torch and leaves while I finds myself with Chen in the throne room. I was shocked that Chen managed to turn Kai against me, I proceed to battle while trying to talk some sense into Chen. However, He uses everyone's elements to overwhelm me and defeated me. I've lost the fight as my vision became black.

Rava's POV

As i woke up in the dungeon, I was tied against the pole and observe the surrounding. It seems I'm not the only one when i heard a voice. "Nya, are you alright?" Garmadon questioned."Yes. What-? What happened?" Nya asked as she looked around.We were currently tied up against two poles in a room full of skulls. "It would seem we're in the snakes den." I answered to Nya. They turned to see me that i was with them. "Who...are you?"Nya asked. I was about to say when garmadon introuduced for me, "That is Rava, Nya, the archer who we happen to met at Borg's Tower trying to help us. It was good to see you againd and I see your cover is been blown." "i'm afraid so, sensei garmadon, they realize that i wasn't an elemental master and you must be Nya the female samurai that Vatu was talking about."I said obviously. "You know Vatu?"Nya said.

"Yes, he is a companion of mine and he sometimes complains a lot."

"Save the introductions later, We have to get out of here." Garmadon stated as we began to struggle against our chains. At that very moment, Skylor, Jinmay/Rahjah, Chen, and Clouse came into the area. "My pet loves the smell of fear." Clouse commented as they walked in. "Where is my son? What have you done with-" Garmadon demanded before being cut off by Chen."I have your son along with his little friend. But their power will become mine at the ceremony tonight! I'm sorry you didn't get an invite, I'm still a little hurt by my pupil deciding to betray me so long ago." Chen told Garmadon."But, how did you defeat him?" Nya asked."Oh, I had a little help." Chen answered, stepping off to the side.

As if on cue, Kai walked into the area. This earned a gasp from Nya."You pitted the ninja against themselves, just as you did the Elemental Masters!" Garmadon exclaimed."Why Kai? How could you do this?" Nya asked, still shocked that her brother would side with Chen. Kai answered. "Chen holds all the power. Lloyd never stood a chance....I had to think about what was best for us. He'll let you go if-"

"I rather be snake food!" Nya argued. Suddenly, I saw Garmadon grabbed Skylor. "Untie us!" Kai took a step forward but Jinmay/Rajah stopped him by placing an arm out in front of him. The Amber protector looked at Jinmay/Rajah, confused and slightly angered."What are you doing?" Kai asked in a hushed tone."Preventing you from going any further..." Jinmay/Rajah answered in a monotone voice.

"Why?" "Because I know that Skylor will be okay...."

Chen and Clouse began to laugh."Or what? You've changed, remember?" Chen said. "You're Sensei Garmadon. You're a good guy. Threats don't frighten me."Garmadon sighed and pushed Skylor back over to where Kai and Chen were standing.

"What-? How did you know-?" Kai whispered, a little bit shocked. "I just know..." Jinmay/Rajah answered again in a monotone voice.

Chen turned to me as he walk towards me. "As for you imposter, Clouse and Rajah were right about you. I knew there something suspicious why my daughter couldn't absorb your power. Because you knew that if she touch you, your cover would be blown. I didn't expect to see you and here i thought Rajah told me you fell off a waterfall."I blinked as i stared at Jinmay/Rajah who was avoiding eye contact. 'Play along Rava. They musn't know.' she spoke through my thoughts. I understod and said sarcastically, "I did but i manage to escape, it was a shame that your pupil didn't get to finish me. How pathetic." Jinmay/Rajah seems to be getting on to her act. "What! Ohh i'll give you something to....."but Kai stopped her.

"Now tell me who were you working for?"

"Hmph no matter how the wind blows, mountain cannot bow to it."

"oh well, for a cold-hearted spy now i know why anyone never trust you."as chen turned away, Jinmay/Rajah began to search around through my body. Clouse asked, "And what do think your doing?"

"Oh forgive me, i was checking to make sure...*as she grabbed my feather behind my hand* that she doesn't escape."

CHen said with impressed, "Well done Rajah, I knew he make a perfect pupil unlike someone (A/N cough....Garmadon....cough)."

Chen and Clouse began to leave the area along with Skylor and Jinmay/Rajah."This isn't you, Kai. Don't do this." Nya pleaded."Sorry, sis. This is the way it has to be." Kai told her, giving her a wink. They knew he was only pretending just gain chen's trust. Jinmay/Rajah looked over her shoulder and underneath her hood flashed a grin before leaving the door.

"Now we know what my brother is up to? What about us? Nya wondered.

I smiled and assured to them, "Do not worry, something unexpected might arrive."Which made Nya and Garmadon unsure what i'm talking about.

Jinmay's POv

As I watch Chen and Clouse leave to prepare for the ceremony, I looked back to see Kai pulls Skylor back and explains he can get the Staff. Skylor asks why he'd tell her after her betrayal: Kai states she let him go for a reason, with her feelings for him being the most obvious choice which she admits.

Huh? I guess that's love for you, also it's a good thing i took one of her feathers. I did that so i can tell Vatu and the other elemental master. I mumbled to the feather, "VAtu, go to where the dungeon is coz Nya, Rava and Garmadon are about to be snake food."as i blow the feather and it float somewhere almost like it knew where it's going and left without anyone noticing it.

Vatu's POV

Back in the tunnels, I manage to sneak in and head to the factory. Unfortunately, I got lost along the way. "Great where's the factory again?"I complained. I was about to around the corner when suddenly an explosion blasted in front of me which throw me off the side. I manage to regain conscious when i saw a gaint mech heading in front of me. I screamed and it just stop as the smoke cleared away until I recognize a person inside. "Cole" I exclaimed. As the elemental masters came out from behind the mech and surround me.

Until, Cole opened the shield, "What the? Vatu?"then i saw a man with a black helmet beside him asked, "You know him?"

"Yeah, just some klutzy samurai we met before."

I said, little offended, "Hey, i searched far and wide to find my friend then i went back for you guys. I told you i'll return the favor but i guess you manage to save yourselves. But what's a mech doing underground?"

Cole was about to answer but jay said it for him, "Don't ask"

Then, i saw Dareth who happens to be with them, "And what is he doing here?"

Dareth said, "hey your that wolfboy, i haven't seen you awhile during the battle. As you know I'm here to get puffy pod stickers"

"Uh right......terrific a brown ninja, just what i need"

The guy in glasses said, "crazy, a guy wearing in a strange way. EVen this one."

He touched my tail which made it twitch as I was startled and whirled around. "HEy, Don't touch my tail."I said to him. He said with surprise, "Woah that tail is real?"

"duh.....of course it's real what do you think?"

The one with purple hair touch my ears, "Unbelievable, he's right even his ears are real, almost like he was part animal." as the elemental masters began to touch me with curiosity but i pushed them back, "woah woah SHould you focus on something else instead of touching me."

Zane who appeared behind jay, "He's right our priority is to stop chen."

I sighed in relief as the elemental masters understood the situation. We were about to leave when i saw a black feather which happen to be Rava's feather. Why is it here? I touched the feather and suddenly i began to hear jinmay's voice in somekind of message. "VAtu, go to where the dungeon is coz Nya, Rava and Garmadon are about to be snake food." as the message ended. I turned to them and said, "Um guys Chen will have to wait. Right now we gotta find your other friends."

Zane asked, "I sense that something must have happen to our friend, is it?"

"Yeah We better find them before Garmadon and Nya are about to be snake food if we don't hurry."

Jay who was shocked about the fact as he run towards me and began to shake me, "Nya is about to be snake food. You said your here to return the favor, right? Then, don't just stand there? Lead the way."he said desprately.

I said, "Ok ok relax *as he let go of me* sheesh control your emotion for awhile."I sniff at the feather so that i can manage to catch Rava's scent as i crouched down and followed her scent. "This way"I pointed out. Zane said with curiosity, "you can tell by smelling it." "hey I'm a wolfboy remeber."I reminded as i got into my animal side and run like a wolf. Which made the elemental masters confuse about my behavior, good thing i have good hearing when i heard a man in black helmet talking to Cole with his puzzled look, "Um why he run like that?"

Cole whispered to him, "I have no idea but if you ask me i think he needs to be introduce to civilization."

I rolled my eyes and ignore his comment as i led them to a room where Nya is.....well so to speak.

Jinmay's POv

Back in the Anacondrai Temple, the sound of drums could be heard again along with chanting. Chen, Clouse, Skylor, Kai, Me and one of Chen's followers walked down the stairs that led to the bottom of the temple. I turned back to see Lloyd being led into the temple by two cultists. 'Poor Lloyd, don't you worry i'll find a way to help you.'I thought with a determine look.

"Alright, first thing's first, Daughter and Protector!" Chen exclaimed, pointing to Skylor She let out a small gasp before looking over at and Kai, both gave her an encouraging nod.She walked over to Chen and stood in front of him."I offer my power to you, Father." Skylor said. I watch as Chen pointed his staff towards Skylor and began to take away her power. I couldn't bare to see it and wondered if Vatu have already rescue them.

Rava's POv

Back in the dungeon, it's a good thing that she was clever taking one of my feather for good use as i summon another one to cut through chains. I stared at the cave where the snake is as it became close while Garmadon assumes his karma for destroying the Great Devourer has caught up to him. However instead of him, it focuses on Nya. As it was about to eat her, I manage to break free and tossed a feather at its face. Nya exclaimed, "your free!? But how...."

I said to her, "Always come prepare, just in case."

It seems to be angry and gleam its eyes at me, as i brought out my celestial bow that was hidden in a form of a feather all long. I shot at the serpent with a shard of energy arrows but it seems to be uneffective. I said with shock, "My weapon....has no effect on."I stood their aiming at the serpent but i didn't notice it's tail as it whip at me and crashed onto the skulls. I slowly got up and saw the serpent resume its eyes at Nya.

Just as the snake is about to eat Nya, when a machine crashed through the wall and shoot the ceiling, crushing the snake with rocks. I walk up to them to see the relief of elemental masters have escape. Cole exclaimed, "Whoo-hoo! We did it!" as he went to help garmadon. Garmadon said with glad, "Well, hello, Master of Earth." "Uh-uh. Don't forget Master of Lightning."Jay said mentioning to him. Nya was running up to Cole and Jay but went passed them instead. My eye's widened when i saw Nya hugging an unfarmiliar metal robot. Nya said in relief, "Zane, you're back!" Zane said with confuse look as he turned his head, " What? What is on my back?"

As both of them laugh then i saw a Vatu behind the mech as run towards Nya with delight. "Nya *hug her* I'm glad you're ok. I hope nothing happen to my samurai girl"Vatu said happily, hugging her tightly. Nya said, "Uh....good to you too."I shook my head with disappointed as i head over to them. Jay who looks peeved and said, "Hey get your hands --" I went behind Vatu and pulled away NYa by the ear, he felt pain when he notice me. "Oh Rava....ah ha ha I forgot about you."Vatu said sheepishly. "Oh really?"I said still pulling his ear.

"ow ow ow pls let go my ear"

"Vatu, It is not polite to fawn over a fellow samurai in the middle of a situation."

"ok ok i'm sorry now would pls let go"

As i politely released his ear, making him feal pain while holding his ears. I turned to Jay and assured to him, "you have to forgive him, he seems to excited that he forgotten what he was doing." Cole asked, "Wait you two know each other."Vatu throwing his arms at me on the shoulder. "Of course she and i were partners, we helped along the way. Rava came here so that she infiltrate chen's plan but backfired. Don't let this cold expression fool you, deep down she has mellow side"Vatu said to them. Rava gently removing his hand off her. "Then don't let his ego fool you, deep down he never take things seriously."I said, crossed arms with a pruddish look. "Yes...huh? Hey!"VAtu pouted at her. As they laughed at our awkward scene, Cole turned to me and said in relief, "So your not working with chen after all. I'm glad your not a spy."

My eye's raised with confusion that when is he so concern about me? "yes, it's good to see you Cole it seems that you were worried about me."Then i notice his face turned red when he realize that. Without thinking, he climbed on the mech to see KArloff fixing.

Cole asked, "Karloff, why isn't this thing off the ground yet?"

"Two hands can only work so fast."Karloff replied.

"Well, you're gonna fix it Karloff, because you know why?"Cole said with encouragement.

"Sure." Karloff said. As all the elemental masters exlcaimed, "Positive thinking!"

I was surprise that they are working together when Vatu walk up to me. "See Rava like i said, when your with others becomes stronger."Vatu reminded as he went ahead. I stared at my weapon and i began to doubt myself.

Back at the Temple, Chen had finished taking away Skylor's powers. Said girl let out a small groan as she slowly walked over to Kai."And now for the final element." Chen stated, walking over to Lloyd. "Only one can remain." as he began to take away Lloyd's power. "Behold! Every elemental power, all in my control! Do you feel the power? I do!" Chen cheered. Clouse walked over to Chen, a book in hand, and began to chant in an ancient language. "Hey Chen!" Kai called, earning the attention of both Clouse and Chen. "You forgot one element, the element of surprise!" Kai declared. At that moment, Skylor jumped and kicked the staff out of her father's staff. "You betray me?!" Chen questioned, obviously upset by his daughter's betrayal. "Runs in the family." Skylor stated and kicked her father's leg, sending him to the ground. While Chen was on the ground, Kai quickly grabbed the staff from the ground.

"Get him!"

Two cultist grabbed Skylor however Kai uses lightning to shock them causing to release her. Kai uses it to free Lloyd and freeze Clouse, the Eyezor was about to catch him but fell into a trapdoor thx to skylor. "Hurry Kai, you must destroy the staff!" Lloyd explained, running over to the red ninja. "Chen was right, this thing's awesome!" Kai commented with a smile, his eyes turning a shade of red as he looked down at the staff. The red ninja then began attacking some of the other cultists with various elements. "Kai, it holds too much power! Destroy it!" Lloyd instructed.

Lloyd said when skylor run over to him, "The power is corrupting him, If we don't get that staff out of his hands-" The green ninja began to explain to the two before Kai cut him off. "No one is taking my staff!" Kai stated, his eyes red. "You had all that power. Now it's my turn!" The red ninja let out a gasp, his eyes returning to normal for a bit. "What am I saying?"

"Nothing I don't already feel!"

Lloyd and Skylor took a few steps back. "I can't-I can't control it! I don't want to control it, I should've been the Green Ninja!" Kai exclaimed, pointing the staff towards the two as he got ready to blast them. "No, Kai, don't!" Lloyd exclaimed. As they waited for his attack but nothing came, when they looked to see that Rajah (jinmay) who was in front of them was clenching on to the staff that Kai was holding. They were surprise that he was protecting them.

Jinmay's POv

I was beating up some cultist so that they won't interfere without noticing. Then, I heard the commotion and turned back to look at the red ninja, his eyes were constantly flashing red."The power...it's starting to corrupt him." I mumbled and ran over to kai who was about to blast them. I manage to block his attacks and hold tightly at the staff. I tried to keep it away from kaid but he seems to be fighting back. "Let go" he spat, struggling to hold on to it.

"Kai....you better snap out of it."I said to him, as we struggle for the staff, we kept fighting over it as we accidently blast various elements at somewhere else. I said, "Listen to me......don't let the power control you."Kai glared at me and said, "I don't want to control it. This power is mine and you can't have it."Kai let go of his other arm and grabbed my hood, forcing me to let go. I try to let go his hand but he he manage me to push me back. I fell on the ground beside Lloyd along with Skylor as i got up and can't help quite notice Lloyd was staring at me for a reason. I touch my white hair and realize i wasn't wearing a hood anymore, kai must have ripped it. Our eyes met almost like lloyd seemed to know me. 'Oh no he saw me.'i thought as i turned away from him and focus on Kai who was pointing the staff towards us,"this staff is mine and i should've been the Green Ninja."as he was ready to blast at Lloyd and Skylor.

"No!!"i got up and placed both my arms out in front of them as a sign of defending my friends. "I won't let you hurt them." "Fine, then I'll have to go through you."Kai said whose eyes were bright red. At this rate, kai would be consumed by the power. Just before Kai could attack us, the wall to their right suddenly collapsed. I manage to save Kai from being crushed which cause him to let go of his staff. Revealing the other elemental masters and everyone else. Cole shouted, "Did anyone order some kung pao?"They all began to attack the remaining cultists in the area, even Vatu and Rava joined in the fight. Vatu said, "its been while since i haven't fought these goons."Rava said behind him, "Yes, very much so."as they continuing fighting.

I looked around and gasped when I saw Zane, I was so happy to see him in one piece. Lloyd said, ran over to him, "Zane! Good to see you again, buddy." "And it's good to be back."Zane said. Meanwhile I turned to Kai, who was no longer corrupted. "You....save me."Kai said. I smiled at him looked to see the staff to my left. I grabbed the staff when i heard Chen's voice behind me. "Well done Rajah Now give me the staff."He said. I stared at the staff then at Chen and gave him a smirk. "Sorry I'm afraid I'm no longer your pupil. Master Chen"I said with venom, adding the master part. Chen stared at me with confusion then he realize when he notice i'm not wearing the control headband. "You can't control me anymore so consider this my signation."I said to him as i lifted it in the air and destroyed the staff.

After breaking it, a bright light shone flew out and into their respective elemental master. I also felt my spiritual powers are returning too even my hair turns back into blue again. My clothes was changed into my shinobi suit (without the silver scarf). Karloff said where his body became steel, "Now bad guys in big trouble!"

The ninjas shouted, "Ninja, go!" as they spun into their tornadoes attacking the cultists. Jinmay took a deep breath before sneaking up on Vatu and wrapped her arms around him. Vatu was tensed and turned around to see her, who had a tired smile on her face. Vatu exclaimed, "JInmay, It's good to see you again." "It's good to see you too."I said. Vatu turned to the ninjas and smiled, " It's good to see those gang are back together again."

"I couldn't agree more......Wait, where's CHen? And Clouse?"as i looked around to that they're not here, so is Skylor as well. I also saw Rava which i'm not delighted to see her. Vatu said, "Don't worry we'll find him again. Right now, we should leave before they see us"I sighed as we were about to leave when i saw Lloyd standing in front of me. Jay said obviously, "It's you....the purple ninja." Vatu corrected him, "actually it's shinobi."Cole said, "You two..... were working for her." Vatu replied, "Yup! That's when i meant by searching a friend. Who would thought she would disguise herself as a boy."Rava nodded as well. Lloyd walk towards me and said, "Who.....who are you exactly?" I blinked at his curiosity face and lowered my head, realizing that he doesn't know me or recognize me. I guess it's for the best and answered, "Gee i luv to reveal it to you but only when the time comes."As i turned around and comment, "Oh and Lloyd Great job in bringing the team back together."and left the scene along with Vatu and Rava. Poor Lloyd wondering who I was.

The ninja, Sensei Garmadon, Nya, and the other elemental masters were outside the temple. The cultists were kept hostage while Chen, Clouse, and Skylor were no where to be found. Garmadon said, "No sign of Chen. And no sign of Skylor either."Kai let out a sigh after hearing that skylor was no where to be found. Nya said, "If it weren't for her help, we wouldn't have control of this island. We'll find her, brother."

Kai mentioned as he walk toward where Zane and his brother were, " It's funny. I came here to find an old friend."Zane turned on his funny switch and made a funny dance which causes them to laugh. Kai said, "I just never thought we'd make new ones."Garmadon assured him, "We'll find her, Kai. And we'll find Chen."As they continue laughing at Zane.

Not very far, Jinmay and her two spirit guardians were outside the temple. They see no sign of Chen. Vatu walk towards her and asked, "Hey jinmay when you said the staff was too much for Kai and corrupted. I was wondering how come your not affected."

Jinmay answered, "that's becoz i've touched the staff already, it was before the tournament when i was still his pupil. I try to steal the staff.....

Flashback

At night, Jinmay went to Chen's room to find out he wasn't there. As she was about to leave when she saw the staff. She walk towards the staff and looked around to see no one is in the room. She balled her fist and pondered whether she can steal the staff. He gulped and reached out, gripping the staff with shaky hands. She notice her headband didn't electrocute her when she was about to steal it.

She felt nothing at first, until a sharp pain shot up both her arms. She yelped and tried to let go, but somehow something deep inside her mind was preventing her from releasing.'How does all this power feel now?' a voice in her mind, it sounded like hers but opposite. The pain didn't recede. If anything, it only seemed to grow in intensity. She squeezed her eyes shut, something in her mind feeling as though it were trying to break free. She tried struggle to let go but somehow the staff is not letting her but sense there was something she shouldn't. 

'Embrace the power....Child of Ender'

 The pain ebbed, but a new feeling came over her immediately after. Darkness began to cloud her mind, and memories of every time she was ever mocked openly in front of everyone, every time she was told to stay back and not cause trouble, and every time she thought about Rava who didn't do anything began to surface. The darkness brightened into an angry purple when the memories appeared, and she felt her hands shaking as she fought to suppress it. The memories were far too much for her to handle, and she didn't want to relive them now. "No...! I don't want it..." 

'Why I thought it was everything you've ever wanted. You don't want to be powerless again, do you?' 

"No..." Her voice had been reduced to a shameful whimper. The darkness fought back against her, threatening to consume her mind so she had no more control. "Let go of me...!"As she was able to release the staff from her grip.

Jinmay collapsed to the floor, relieved to feel the pain and darkness being washed away. Chen sighed in exasperation who appeared in behind her. "you were so close.....well too bad."as he grabbed the staff and walk towards her. As she struggled to her feet, Chen grinned down at her, tapping her lightly on the head with he tip of his staff. "Don't worry, Rajah. Now that you've finally come in contact with it, you won't feel any pain when you wield it again! Isn't that good news?"Jinmay glared up at him, exhaling through her nose to prevent herself from yelling at the madman before her. "Yeah, real good." She was surprised when Chen extended a hand to help her up, but took it anyway, muttering his thanks. 

"Now you've seen what I can offer you," Chen said. "Like I said, I want to help you find even greater potential, and my staff let you do so!" He brought it closer to her. "Now you know what it feels like to have so much power at your fingertips, to feel as though you're stronger than the Green Ninja, considered to be the most powerful fighter in Ninjago. The elements of nearly every fighter in the Tournament are now contained within the staff, and soon Lloyd's will be among them. Now then, tell me do you know what i'm planning next? Hm"

Jinmay/Rahjah stared at him as she looked through her vision and answered, "your planing to make the ninjas fight each other." 

"Yes and you know who's going to fight, do you?" 

 She sighed in sympathetic look, "Master of lightning vs Master of Earth"

End of Flashback

"And that's how it happen...."Jinmay said as she looked down at the ground. "But now i know what he meant by embracing the power. It would mean by losing for who i am. From now on, I should learn to use my power properly."

Vatu smiled, "I'm glad you've learn from your experience....."

However, jinmay turned to Rava who happen to be staring at the jungle. "Yeah...Not all of them."She mumbled. Jinmay turned to the jungle then to her guardians, "Ok guys listen up. I'm going to search the whole island to find Chen, He can't be that far while you two stay and watch over the ninjas. I'll be careful"

Vatu understood but Rava refuses her request. "Mistress, I cannot let you go off again. It is too dangerous for you and i cannot allow it." Rava said.

"Rava, I'll be ok right now your priority is to observe the ninjas."Jinmay argue.

"No, You shouldn't be near Chen again. He made you his puppet before and i won't let it happen again. Let me do it for you so that you'll be safe."

"I'm sick and tired of being protected, Just let me find him so that he won't cause any trouble."

" You should understand how important you are, mistress."

"The only one who never understand is you Rava."Jinmay's words made Rava taken back when she said that to her. As she continued......

" i placed my trust in you for so long but still you never understand anyone's feelings. You only cared about is my own protection, you treat me like i'm somekind of object. Well, I'm not an object, i'm a shinobi. I'm going to find Chen whether you like it or not."as she left the jungle leaving Rava feel like her mind is filled with void. Vatu went to her and reminded, "See i told you, didn't I? pretty soon jinmay will lose faith in you anymore. I think you should go to her and tell her your ture purpose."

Rava said, "But if i did that she will never understand....she might even lose her faith in me anymore. I can't tell her......the mistakes i did before, I don't deserve her trust."

VAtu calmed her down and said to Rava , "Y' know something back in jungle your not the only one who makes mistake......Garmadon made his mistakes in the past and he's been holding on to his guilt for so long. And believe me he did a lousy thing to do"

Rava's eye widened when she heard the fact Garmadon made the same mistake as she does. "But someone once told me you need to control your fear, and not let fear control you. I know you've holding it for so long but the more hold it the more you lose her. I think it's best you should tell her how you feel" Without word from Rava as she run off to search jinmay, but thought about Vatu's advice. She wondered if she wants to know. Vatu smiled as he went back to spy on the ninjas

THE DAY OF THE DRAGON 

Jinmay's POv

As i searched far and wild to find Chen so that i could give him a good pounding. While I was searching, I stopped for awhile and thought back the vision i saw.......

Flashback

Inside her vision

Thelady in kimono crouched down beside me and gently lift my face, wiping my tear from my left eye.

"I know some times fate can be a cruel fate but every destiny has their own role. Just like how i fulfilled my duty, Sacrifices can be in vain just to save those who cannot save themselves. You will understand one day, for now you have other duty to fulfilled; that is protecting your friends."

I looked up at her and said, "Well, it is my destiny as the spirit master." as she stood up and the lady  notcie something else in her mind. "And i sense you have doubts trusting your faith on one of your companion."

I blinked, "huh, How do you know?"

The lady stared at me and replied, "The eye of ages showed it to me."

"well there is one who doesn't care about anyone's feeling. It's almost like she doesn't care, all she care is about protecting me. It's making me difficult to trust her anymore. She keeps treating as if i was an object."

"i see. She did that just to protect you......or something in her past is making her feel afraid."

"What? Why? What is it that made her afraid? I mean i never seen her afraid before, she was just calm and quiet."

"the answer lies within her, she may look like she is not afraid but deep inside she is forcing herself to hide her feelings. do not worry she'll will tell you the reason soon."

End of Flashback

I wonder what my vision meant by it then i saw something came out from a waterfall. I saw someone in orange riding a a rocket board and escaping. I exclaimed when i recognize her, "Skylor.....so that's where they're hiding."I stay hidden as i watched Skylor was being chased by anacondrai cultists and Chen in a helicopter with Clouse. I was kinda infuriated when i saw Chen and Clouse. I morphed my shimu staff into motorbike and drove through the forest.

Vatu's POV

Bacl on the coast, I notice the ninjas were on the move. I followed the ones in vehicles as i changed into my wolf form. I sense that it must be urgent, I try to keep up but man it was too fast. I arrive at the abandon town, Panting and sweating when i heard a engine sound as i looked up to see an orange girl is being pursued by Kapau and Chope and eventually hits a dead end, using smoke to escape while the two crash into the wall. "oooh that's gonna leave a mark."I said. I followed the orange girl when i saw Chen takes aim at her, somehow Cole and Garmadon arrive to which Clouse jumps on the Jet and begins to take the wing apart. I manage to avoid the metal scraps that Clouse did. I saw Garmadon exits and jumps on Clouse, sending them both off the plane and into the jungle. I stopped for a second whether to follow them or follow the orange girl who needs help. So i followed her instead.

As i found the orange girl, who is now being chased by Eyezor when she was saved by Kai, who crashes his chopper into the thug's own bike. I hid behind the trees so that no one saw me. Skylor: Whoa! Ah!

Kai groans when she exclaimed, "Kai!"Kai notice her and said, "That looks fun, mind if I join you?" takes a rocketboard for himself but having hard time blancing, still he manage. Kai asked, "You okay?"She joked, "Fairing better than you."I smiled at those two when i heard Chen's manically laughing behind them. And the chase begins again when Chen starts to pursue them in the bladecopter. I sighed and chase after them again, so much for being safe.

While they're flying, Skylor said, "I have an idea."Kai understood what she meant, " You're reading my mind." "Fire!" Both of them shouted. They combine their Fire, creating a smokescreen which Chen flies through, sees Kai, and notices she disappeared. CHen turned around, thinking she escape but what he not notice is that she used her Form to disguise herself. I arrived at the scene and saw Kai emerges from one of the buildings and alerted the team.

Kai said to her, " I alerted the team we found you and are heading back." "Are we in the clear?" She asked to be sure.

"I guess. Hey, this is a pretty cool place by the way."

"You want to play tourist?"

"No, bo. You're right. Let's get back to the good guys. They're all waiting for us."

Bleahh, whether i'm relief or these two are having a love interest. However, the two are ambushed by Kapau and Chope and captured in an Element-blocking net. I watched as they were to be taken to CHen. I groaned, "Argh, can't they ever give up? I wonder why chen needed the girl?"as I followed them.

Back in the jungle, While Jinmay was following Chen when saw two people fell of from a jet so she head over there to where they landed. As she arrive there, She hid behind the trees saw Garmadon and Clouse's fight however he seems easily avoiding Clouse attacks. Sensei Garmadon said, "You're gonna have to do better than that if you want to to get rid of me, Clouse." They keep grunting and fighting. It's a shame that Clouse did'nt know she was hiding behind the tree, right behind him.

She notice Clouse had a malicious smile on his face, something tells her it is not good. Clouse said, "I have other things up my sleeve."as he began to chant a spell that she never heard before. She saw a portal was opening but this time it feels like everything is sucking in. Sensei Garmadon said with disbelief, "You've opened the Cursed Realm! Are you mad?"As he finish chanting and said, "You banished Anacondrai Generals there. It's time you answer to them!"

"So that explains what happen to them, he banished them huh go figure."Jinmay said to herself. She almost slipped but she manage to hold on tight onto the tree. However, Garmadon tried to hold on but he's almost near to the portal. Sensei Garmadon shouted, "You coward! Letting dead generals do your dirty work!" "You grow wiser in your years, Garmadon! There's nothing to save you. Take in your last moments, Lord Garmadon, and know that it was I defeated you. And I who will take your title. I, Lord Clouse!"Clouse declared.

"What the heck!? He's still obsess with that, he really is crazy."She groaned. Garmadon was about to meet his end but he remined to clouse, "Never rest of your laurels, because you lower your guard!"He jumps over the portal and grab Clouse that led me to shock. 'At this rate, he'll fall in...' Jinmay though so quickly she grabbed one of the vines and tie it around her wrist so that it can be strong eneough and slowly went over there. 

Clouse said to Garmadon, who was barely holding on, "You fool! You're pulling us both in!" "No, Clouse Just you."Jinmay shouted to them, as they looked up and were surprised to see her. She hold gripped onto the vine and lifted one arm at Garmadon. She focus her power and manage to teleport him and safely appeared in front of her, Garmadon grabbed hold of the vine in time. Clouse stared at her with surprise, "what!! How did you....!"JInmay spat at him, "Your not the only one who has trick up thier sleeve, You taught me remember. You luv boasting so much....."She morphed her staff into a sickle. "......why not tell them yourself."She swing her sickle to cut the vine where Clouse was holding on who was thrown in, banishing him into his own magic. Clouse howled, "NO!!!!"as the portal closes behind them. They fell onto the ground. 

They were panting and huffing after all that exhaustion from that experience. Garmadon declared, " *Pant* always hated magic." "You and Me both...."JInmay s agree with him, "*Pant* I've had enough black magic for one day. No more dark arts for me"She put away her weapon and helpped garmadon as he stared at her. Garmadon exclaimed, "It's you... the shinobi that Nya was talking about"

"YEah.....we met in bOrg's Tower. I guess I saved you not once, but twice."

Garmadon gave a curious look and question, "Yes you did. There's one thing i don't understand....Who are you?"JInmay blinked at his question.  

"you seem to help my son when we were trouble even his friends as well. In fact, you've been helping us since our battle. You were always been there for Lloyd, it's like you've know him for so long. I want to know who you are."

JInmay lowered my head and let out a sigh that she couldn't take it, She answered to him, "it's funny, isn't it?"Garmadon gave a confused look as she continued, "......a dark lord become a sensei and a curse witch became a shinobi. We've overcome many obstacles and change since our encounter. Don't you agree?"as she slowly removed her kabuki mask, revealing her face, "It's been awhile, Garmadon" 

When he examine JInmay, his eye's widened when he recognize who she was."You're...."he was about to say her name but she shush him up. "No....It's best don't say my name ok."JInmay said to him. She put her hand away from his mouth.

"You've changed"

"Not at all my old friend, Lloyd is not the only one who got caught by the tea and gotten older."

"I can't believe....you were protecting him, all this time"

"hey, someone has to watch out for him, he gets alittle careless sometimes. Beside, he did a good job bringing his team together once more."

They both laughed as thwy stared each other. JInmay lift her left arm behind her head and with a sympathetic look, "Lloyd has grown so much when i first saw him. I'm proud that he has a great sensei and his friends to be there for him. He's gotten stronger and wiser in his ways. I believe he would make a great spinjitsu master" Garmadon notice her expression and said with a smile, "Now i see why.....you have feelings for my son, do you?"

JInmay protest, "Wha...what? No i...well....actually he and i....i mean"She try to explain to him but just blurted out with nonsense. Garmadon chuckle, "just what i though. It's ok I know what your saying, I understand how you feel. It's not like everyday my son get saved by a girl."

"Ahaha very funny."    

"why can't you tell him? You two would make a perfect team"

"Oh no I just can't ok.... our path is kinda difficerent. He has his own destiny and i have my own destiny....it's just I can't let him know who i am, i can only tell him when the time comes but not now....not yet."

"I see"

JInmay turned to the jungle then at Garmadon, "You should head back. Beside Lloyd no....your son needs you and the team."Garmadon asked, "What about you?"

"I'm going to find a way to stop Chen. If i don't, the world we once knew will become an endless war."

"THen, in that case take care of yourself. "

"*Nod*  Good luckoh one more thing.....about our encounter. Could you....?"

Garmadon looked at her and understood what she meant, "Don't worry, my lips are sealed. I won't let him know your here. Watch your back."

As JInmay was about to leave instead whirled around and ran over to hug Garmadon, which surprises him. She hug tightly as she said with a blissful look, "It's been long since i saw you but now Im glad I get to see you.....one last time. " Garmadon smiled down at her as he returned the hug. They let go of each other as she smiled back at him, "Goodbye....... Sensei Garmadon."

 Jinmay then put on her mask, waved back at him and ran towards the jungle. Leaving Garmadon standing there with a satisfied look. "Goodbye.....Jinmay Ender."as he head back to the temple.

JInmay's POV

I turned around to see that Garmadon has went back to his son. Im just so glad I get to see him again. I was about to search for Chen when I felt someone grabbed me by the wrist. I turned to see that it was RAva and she's still persistent.

Rava said, "MIstress, what were you thinking? Running off and confronting Clouse."As she let go of me and continued, "You could have fallen into the Cursed Realm."

"Rava, I'm fine and i can manage to take of myself. Thank you very much, i have no time for this. Right now, we gotta stop Chen before the battle begins."I said angrily.

"Mistress, I cannot let you go on like this. My duty is to protect you so I cannot allow you to go near the battle, one day no one be there to save you."

"yes, I will! I'm willing to risk it and stop trying to prevent me to assist them. It's also my duty as well as a spirit master and i have to be there for Lloyd."

"Mistress, pls you don't know that!"

"Yes, I do! If Lloyd and his friend are going to fight, we're going to fight together!"

"Mistress, you must understand. You shouldn't be anywhere near the fight! You're too important! And i cannot risk losing you."

"*groan* Again, me being important. No, I'm not! "

"Yes, you are!" "NO!"

We kept argueing until Rava finally snapped, "WHY WON'T YOU JUST LET ME DO THIS FOR YOU, Zecora!?"My eyebrows raised when she called that. I asked, "Did...Did you just call me Zecora?"

Rava realized it and said sheepishly, "*breathes out* I... I mean.... Why won't you let me....do this... for you... *Sigh* I cannot take this anymore."as she walk towards the slope and stood there. I stared at her and walk towards her. I said, "Rava you remebered?"

Rava replied, "Only most of our memories are piecing together"

I don't know why she called me Zecora then it hit me, the vision! The lady mentioned to me that Rava has a reason why she was being overprotective and hid her feelings. I asked, "Rava you have to tell me what's wrong."

Rava let out a sighed and said, "Sometimes, you even sound like her..."I was surprised when she said that as she continued, ".....Do you remember this place? Do you have any of her memories? We were right here, It was right after she met the spinjitzu master when we arrive in Ninjago."

Without thinking, Rava created an illusion, making an image of Zecora. However, the image wasn't perfect coz her memory was a bit hazy. "I may not know her face but i can show what she looks like."After that figure making, the image figure looks transparent blue but she has curly long hair and a kimono which i'm farmiliar with, the face is somehow blurred due to memory loss. Rava bowed down to the image-Zecora pretending to look like it was real.

I watch they were doing a skit as Rava who was doing the lip syncing since she can't remember her voice as the image-Zecora turned to her, " Listen, I'm going to stay and watch over this realm to bring peace SO THAT BALANCE WILL Be MAINTAINED. I WILL BEcome THE BRIDGE BETWEEN OUR TWO WORLDS. YOu don't have do this with me?"

"BUT i want to, Mistress."Rava replied.

"I know you do but pls....pls understand. If you stay here, we will never leave or go back and you won't be able to be free of the curse i placed you."

"Why would i leave? Mistress. I don't care if i'm cursed, as long as your here I will serve you till my curse is lifted and my deeds are done.

The image-Zecora chuckles and extend her hand to her, "My sky guardian..."

I felt sad and kinda feel bad that Rava was miserable and devasted. I have no idea how painful she has been true. I observe as Rava's hand touch the illusion until it disappeared and left with a sad expresion.

" Everything I ever did, I did for her. Now she's gone, but I'm still here. EVen though we got this cursed beads inside us as a crest of enternal pledge. Sometimes, I wonder if she can see me through your eyes. *sighs* What would she think of me now?"Rava said as she sat down. I struggle to comprehend my feelings and then sat beside Rava.

" Well... I think you're pretty great. But you know i may not be like her but i do know is that she didn't made you a guardian just to protect her. She wanted someone to be with her like having a friend/ companion. Deep down All she ever wanted is for you to live."I said to Rava.

"She wanted me to live, even though i failed miserably to protect you or trying to prevent you from getting hurt. The prophecy was indeed absolute."

" i know you want to protect me But if you're the one protecting me... then who's the one protecting you? Someday soon, we may be fighting some really bad guys, and when that day comes, I want to fight with you, together!"

"But You don't know that, mistress. I'm a spirit guradian, our job was to protect you but yet all i ever did is made you hurt. I don't deserve to be...."

I notice Rava was crying, I never seen her shed in tears before. I guess she's been holding on to her emotion all her life, it's like her heart was locked away within a cage waiting to be set free.

I asked with confidence, "Then tell me Did Zecora make you feel like you were nothing?"

Rava turned to me and let out a slight laugh while her eyes are wet, " Zecora made me feel.....like I was everything."

"You see not only she wanted you to live, she wanted you to see the world and learn to understand the nature. Just like someone once told me walk the path you believe in and live your life to the fullest, and i know you will not go astray. So, i believe she wanted you to explore what was out there, filled with new discovery."

"see the world and learn to understand........*chuckles* NOw i know why Zecora love this world. It was wrong of me to hide my feelings, I had a reason. The truth is i really was grieved by the fact Zane sacrifice himself just to protect us. He reminded me of how Zecora sacrifice herself to save this realm. I was worried that if you were her, then i wouldn't forgive myself."

Now i began to understand her, all this time she wanted to protect me so that she won't make the same mistake as she turned to me, "Mistress, Forgive me. that I treated you as though you were an object than not being your companion."Rava said apologethic. I said with encouragement, "Rava, your more than just my companion. Your also my friend, my true friend"I placed my arms around her and gave a hugged to make her feel better realizing that I forgive her. As I got up and extend my hand to help her up with a smile, which Rava gladly took it. Rava said shaking her tears away, "So this is what Vatu meant; I see now, how deeply you care about us and your friends. "

"Vatu huh? I guess his advice always help a lot when we reach our lowest point."

"Yes, I guess i still have a lot to learn more about friendship, teamwork and communication."

"Divided, we fail. But, Together we will succeed. Like I said, it's better to watch each other's back. NOw, C'mon we better find a way to stop Chen."

We both smiled at each other that we finally understand. Now Rava doesn't have to face her past anymore. As we were about to leave, Rava stopped me and said, "Um....mistress i forgot to give this back to you."She removed her scarf from her neck and placed it around me. "after all, it suits you better than me."I touched my scarf and i was glad to have it back after all that argument. I replied, "thx Rava......for telling me the truth."

"I should thank you for making......walk forward into the future."

We stood there having a nice moment until Vatu appeared behind us. "Finally, you two made up. I told you it'll work Rava."

We turned to him and smiled, I told him we were about to search for Chen however Vatu knew where Chen is. I asked him where he was which give Vatu a bad vibes. He explained to me that while he was following Kai and Skylor who was captured and was sent into the crystal cave. He witness that the transformation have begun, Kapau reciting the spell in Clouse's place. As Chope finishes the spell , Kai urges Skylor to resist the transformation. However, the transformation is completed and they become anacondrai much to our shock.

I went over to him and question, "why didn't you stop them Vatu? You could have beaten CHen."

Vatu answered, 'Hey Kai tried to attack Chen though, he has no affect coz their thick Anacondrai skin was indestructable. And now they have escape the island, leaving all the elemental masters."

"Oh no this is not good.....The battle of their past has returned, but they must rise to meet that challenge."Rava said to us.

"YEah there's one problem how are we suppose to help the elemental masters. Even with my powers, I can't teleport all of them at the same time. I might exhaust myself, there must be another way."JInmay mentioned.

While we were in a brink of losing when we saw a red dragon passby. We were surprise to have seen that. We looked at each other and head towards temple. As we arrived there, we notice the elemental masters are gone. Vatu wondered, "hey wheredid they go?"

Rava pointed out, "Mistress, Look....."We looked to where she was pointing that's when we couldn't believe their eyes. They were on a power dragon, just like Lloyd. Now they were able to summoned their own rides whenever they want to now. We were amazed that the elelmental masters are able to leave the island to fight off Chen's army.

Vatu said excitedly, "Wow, I didn't know they can do that. Jinmay, why not try summoning yours?"

I nodded as i try to focus all my spiritual poweres to summoned the power dragon of my own, but didn't came out. I looked at my hand confusely and shook my head. Vatu moaned, "Aw....it didn't work. I thought maybe you were able to."

Rava figured, "It must have something to with not finding your true potential. This is troubling."

I sighed, "Oh yeah.... I guess i haven't unlock my powers yet, i'm only inexperience. But you know Chen did brought them here so that only one would remain. Well, They become one!"

"YEah, now is not the time to have a proud moment. We got to get to Ninjago ASAP."Vatu mentioned.

"Well, if I can't summon a dragon then we'll jyst take a shortcut. We're putting an end to this war."

Vatu and Rava gave a determination look which gave me the confidence. We will find a way to end Chen's reign. We were about to leave when Vatu's sense of hearing as he heard someone. Vatu stopped us and said, "Um...guys i heard someone is coming."

Rava asked, "Is it one of Chen's cultist?"

"whoever it was, keep your guard up."I said to them as we got into our fighting stance. VAtu brought his katana, Rava borught out her BOw and i brought out my staff. We waited as the person came out which made Rava and I surprise whom we recognize.

The person said, "Hello? Hello? It's me, Jacob, the master of sound. I was hauled off to feel the serpent. Well, I fed it, but it doesn't want to eat anymore. Hello? Anyone?

As we put away our weapons as a sign of relief, Vatu turned to us and who had this unsure look on his face.

Vatu asked pointing at him, "Uh....whose that guy?"

Rava said recognize him, "Why.....it's Jacob the master of sound."

"Oh dear i guess he was left behind, they must have forgotten about him so what shall we do with him?"

JInmay said obviously, "I say we should take him with us, after all he is an elemental master. They might need him."

Vatu noded as he went over to him and placed his one arm on Jacob's shoulder to let him know we're here. Jacob was startled and asked, "Huh who's there?"

Vatu said, "Easy dude Just me....the samurai. The elemental masters just left the island a minute ago to fight off Chen's army but don't worry we'll take you back."

Jacob turned to the left thinking Vatu was there, "oh good thank you young samurai I'm going to teach Chen and his men a lesson."Vatu tapped on his shoulder and said, "Um....I'm at your right" JAcob turned to face him, "Aha....sneaky move"which Vatu with his jaw dropped.

I giggled at them as Rava mentioned, "I forgot to tell you.... that he's blind."

Vatu said looking annoyed, "oh now your telling me....C'mon Sound Master I'm pretty sure they might need you in the battle."as he help him guide to where we are. I turned around and opened a portal for us to cross.

Jacob question, "Wait what was that sound? Where are you taking me?"

I turned to him and answered, "Where do you think? To Ninjago?"
