As the team walked inside, they saw that Nya already set up the supplies and ingredients for the treats.
Nya smiled nervously at them, "Ok, so I need to bake 600 cookies for the bake sale today,"
Jay's mouth suddenly dropped, "Six-Hundred?!" Nya walked over to the table and started setting up some trays and bowls.
As she was doing that, she started again. "And that leaves us 4 hours to bake them,"
Jay's mouth dropped wider, "4 hours?!"
Nya then added, "And getting to Ninjago city."
Jay then yelled, "What?!"
Nya sighed and shook it off, "So if we wanna get done, we better get moving." Jay closed his eyes and put his hands to his face and quietly asked himself, " What have I gotten myself into?"

When they were about to start, Zane stopped for a moment and asked, "Should I get my apron?"
Suddenly, everyone started laughing. Cole, trying to calm down, answered him, "I don't think you need it."
Zane turned towards the kitchen, "Ok, I was just making sure."
Nya then took something out of one of the drawers and placed it on the counter, "So, since there is six of us, I figured we could all do a hundred and go and sell a hundred. Then for-."
Cole suddenly stopped her, "Wait, we have to also help you sell them?"
Nya awkwardly smiled, "If you wouldn't mind.."
Everyone looked at each other and then Zane asked, "Do we have to wear costume?"
Nya then answered, "No.."
The ninja looked at each other again. Kai replied for them, "We'll think about it." Lloyd looked at the station. He was a little confused. "Uh, Nya, how do you make the treats? I've never actually cooked any before, you know."
Nya looked at the paper, "I was trying to get to that.." She looked at Cole who only smiled as she smirked at him. They stared at each other not knowing they were and then Jay pushed Cole out of the way, "So, let's learn how to make those cookies."
Nya, a little weirded out with Jay for that moment, looked at the paper again, "It's very simple. All you have to do for this is: 2 cups of flour, 4 teaspoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, don't forget the chocolate chips, stir them all together, then put it in the oven for 30mins."
Zane tilted his head at the paper, "This does not seem like a recipe for cookies."
Nya defended, "I found it in Sensei Wu's drawer, maybe it's a fat free Chocolate Chip recipe."
Kai got a little excited inside, "What if it's a chocolate chip recipe makes anyone who eats it stronger?! Or, or lightning fast! Or-!"
Lloyd then said, "Kai, I don't think this is any special cookies. Sensei Wu probably has actual recipes for baking treats to eat. Besides, tea is more of his 'special tricks'." 
Nya said a little anxious, "May I remind you that we only have Four Hours to bake these Six Hundred batches of cookies. Let's please hurry!"

So that's when everyone started to get to their sections and start working. They didn't think that baking could get so stressful. Nya seemed to be the most stressed out of the bunch. She didn't stop moving.

Kai stood by the oven in boredom waiting for a batch of cookies to finish cooking. He sighed in impatience. It was taking too long for him. But if he took the cookies out now they would be all soggy and liquidly. He started to think of another way to speed it up. "Hey, I have the element of fire," Kai started to say to himself, "And fire makes heat..that's it!" Without hesitation, he created fire out of his hand and pointed it towards the oven and yelled, "Fire!!" He smiled to himself with a job well done as he cooked the cookies.

Jay was starting to churn the batter with a mixer at its highest speed. It was not stirring it well enough. Then he remembered that he could make it a lot easier with his lightning to make it faster. So that's what he did. "This is great!"

While at that moment, Cole was rolling out and pounding the dough for the cookies and then thought of a simpler way to do so. He then use his strength to make the dough a lot more flexible by smashing it against the table. "Aw yes!"

Zane also found it hard at his area. He was waiting for the cookies to cool so he could package them. And if he was to do it then, the cookies would fall apart. He also had an idea. He would cool it with his elemental power of ice. "This would definitely work."

Except, Zane's theory was wrong.

Kai's cookies set off in flames. "Ahh!" He yelled trying to find an extinguisher.

Jay found something wrong too. His machine was going aware. Jay shouted at the mixer as if it was a live being, "Wait! Stop!"

Cole made his cookies into pancakes. "Oh geez!"

Zane froze the treats. They were as hard as rock. "Uh oh."

Nya was so shocked and yelled, "Stop!!" And it worked. Nya put her hands on her hips. "What happened in here?!" They all just stared at her.
Cole just said, "Uh.."
Zane replied, "I'd say we had some technical issues." Kai put on a fake smile hiding his guilty one. Jay then did a nervous laugh. "Heh heh, we'll clean up."
Nya fired at him, "Yeh you will..after we finish baking. We only got an hour till we gotta go so let's please hurry. We all just delayed by having this conversation! Let's move."
She then turned back to her work. Lloyd looked to them and asked, "What were you guys trying to do?"
Jay gave a laugh, "Just trying to speed the process up. No big."
Lloyd then said, "No big?"
Zane then added, "That was pretty big." Kai looked to Lloyd and said, "Don't worry, we aren't doing it again anytime soon." Nya then turned to her brother. "Stop talking. More baking!"
She turned back to what she was working on. Lloyd stared at her for a moment and then looked to Kai and asked, "What's with her?"
Kai smiled. "Every year she signs up for this baking/bake sale competition in Ninjago City. Even though she spent most of her life working as a blacksmith, she'd always like to bake. And every year she's gotten into second place and her rival, Julienne King would always take first. Basically, every year she's gotten more competitive and striving to win. It's like she has this obsession of not failing or something."
     "Kai..?" Nya, again looked at her annoying brother and said, "Could you please not talk about me behind my back?"
Kai smiled a little nervously. "No problem sis." Then he turned to Lloyd and whispered, "Like I said, obsessed."

And like out of nowhere, Kai gets a face full of batter. Nya then stood up from her stool that she sat in and faced Kai and said, "I heard you.." Then they all started laughing. That eased the room from the tension they felt earlier. Kai started to take the bits of batter off his face and hair and said, "Ha ha, very funny."
Nya smiled, "Now you learned so you won't be doing it next time, won't you?" Kai just said, "Sure." Jay then walked over and stood next to Nya, "You just got served!"
Nya looked at him. "He may not be the only one." They all oohed at that. Suddenly, Jay took a step sideways from Nya and put a powerless smile on his face. "Heh heh, wouldn't want that to happen."
Nya grinned, "Yeh, now let's keep working, and this time, don't use your elemental powers."
Cole answered for all of them, "Sure thing."
So then they all got back to work and started baking treats..the right way.

Zane: She just wanted to get the readers drawn in first but not giving a lot of detail but she still had to say what it's about.
