Kailina's p.o.v.

Nothing, and I mean nothing could have prepared us for this stab in the back. What am I talking about, in order for you to know that, I need to go back to earlier today.

(Morning, day the gang breaks up)

Wu rings the gong, waking us for morning training. I dress in my gi, hiding my curves and pinning my hair. I go by Kai but my real name is Kailina. I was born a girl but hide the fact so the ninja well respect me. We come out to the deck of the Bounty. Cole squares off against me and I win for once. After training, I'm in the room, adjusting the binder when the door opens. I can't hide fast enough as Cole walks in.

The silence is heavy, he walks to me. I back into the bed post, his finger lifts my chin up and Cole's lips mold onto mine. I can't think, my hands had came up, intending to shove hem away but they fall on his broad chest, nails clipping his gi. Cole grips my hips and I have to break for air.

"I would've gone gay to be with you." Cole said. "And what about now." I ask. "What's you real name, so I can call my girlfriend by her name." Cole said. I blush a deep red, Cole kissing my cheek. "Kai.....kailina." I studder. Cole leans down, he captures my lips once more. This time, I meet hem, hands around his neck. Hearing footsteps, we separate and I fix my clothes. Jay peeks his head around the corner "Lunch is ready." He said.

We head down, I sit down with Cole beside me. The food is passed around and we all dig in. I'm taking a bite when Wu says something that has me choking on it. " Cole and Kai you two are staying here." I swallow, the food gets caught in my air way. Gadping, Cole jumps into action, he pulls me up and off the bench, flush to chest. One fist, thumb pressed hard into my diaphragm, his other hand around it. He gives the Heimlich maneuver five times before I cough the meat up. Cole leans on the wall, me against his chest still as I gasp for air. What sensei said is still floating around. "And why are we having to stay here." Cole says.

Lloyd looks up from his plate of food. "Sensei is taking us for training and someone has to protect Ninjago." He said. "So we....drew the....short sticks." I rasp out. "Sorry brother...." Nya trys to come over to me but I shove her to the ground, leaving to the room.

Cole's p.o.v

I watch as Kai or should I say, Kailina walks out. It hurt my heart when I did the Heimlich maneuver on her, but it hurt worse why she choked. I glair at everyone and leave. Coming to the room, Kai is crying on the bed, I go over, pick her up and sit her on my lap. She cries into my chest for a good five minutes before calming down. "Thank you." She chokes out. I rub my girls back, slowly rocking and it puts her to sleep. I lay us on her bed, pull the covers over us and follow her to sleep.

Next time I wake, the guys aren't in bed, thinking it's just later in the day, I pull the blinds up and the sun is rising above the mountain. Growling, I leave the room, searching the ship but find no one. They left without saying good bye. Going back to the room, Kai is sitting up in bed. "Gone." She said. I nod and her fist slams into the post. She stands, going to the bathroom and I sit on the bed. She stops at the door "Want to join." She asks. I get up, joining my girl in the shower, not like that. I do need the tence muscles of her back and shoulders but never touch her there.

After breakfast, Kailina made some awesome french toast with eggs and bacon. We patrol for the rest of the day, beating a few thugs or robbers. Nothing really happens so we mostly stay on the ship. It getting late, we turn in, thinking it'll get better.
