Town wasn't very busy today because of an important sporting event that was going across the city, so most of the stores were empty. He lead me to a comic book store and smiles sheepishly. "There's a new issues of 'Starfarer', i wanted to check it out. Ya know, for Jay." i don't say anything but i know he's getting it for himself, Jay's had the newest issue for almost a week and has be talking about it nonstop.

we both enter the through the doors and i stand back as he runs to the shelf at which the comics were displayed. i watch as a large dorky smile crept up on his face, his usual mature look was replaced by one belonging to a little child on Christmas morning, this side of Lloyd was new to me. he was so pure, and light hearted instead of the over mature, seemingly invincible Lloyd i knew. i like it.

Next we went into the locale convenience store on the other end of town to get Kai's special hair gel that he insists he doesn't use to everyone but Lloyd. we get the book on the history of Ninjago Zane had asked for, a devil's food cake Cole wanted, and bottle of "men's cologne" Jay insisted on you getting for him. Lloyd and i had to fight the urge not to by him perfume instead, but ended up getting what he asked for.

After we got the things we needed, we walk down the street till he comes to a stop. he lifts his hand from his side and points to the (favorite store) across the road, "you wanna go in there?" he asks. "I thought you hated it there?" i ask puzzled at the fact he would sugest that.

he just shrugs and walks over to the entrance. i have a lot of fun with him, and what was meant to be morning shopping spree turned into an all day one. i look down at my watch/Phone and gasp. It was nearly eight o'clock at night. Wu was gonna be mad at Lloyd for missing training and whatever else he wanted him to do.
