Ninjago High School was buzzing with a bit of excitement as the news of a new student coming to the school spread like a wild fire. In every hallway, every student was talking about it. Now, the reason everyone was getting so worked up, was because barely anybody every transferred to Ninjago High from another school. Lloyd, Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, and Nya were all walking to their first class together. "I wonder who the new student is. Maybe he likes hot things" said Kai. "Or maybe she likes to cool things down a bit" his sister, Nya replied, putting emphasis on the word, she. "Why are we assuming what the person is like before we even meet them?" Zane asked. 

Everyone except Zane simultaneously shrugged. The group of friends got to their lockers to put away their stuff. Right then, Jay caught sight of the new student. "Hey guys, I think she's the new student" he said, pointing to her. Everyone looked over as the girl passed by. Everything about her screamed 'I don't want to be bothered in any way'.  The black hood of her hoodie was up, hiding her face, which she kept down. 

She looked like she was looking at the floor. Her black, blue, and green camo backpack had one strap that went over her chest. The new student held the strap like it was her lifeline. "Well, she looks like a happy person" Cole commented sarcastically. "But she doesn't look happy at all Cole" Zane told him, confused. "I know, that's why I said it in a sarcastic way" Cole replied. Zane was still confused, but let it pass. 

"Oh boy, here comes trouble" Lloyd said as he noticed the male cheerleader captain, Chen, strut up to him and his friends. "Go away Chen" Nya lightly snapped when he came up. Chen smirked. "But I don't want to go away" he replied. The new girl suddenly started walking towards him, then she lightly rammed her shoulder into him, pushing Chen away from the group of friends. Chen whirled around, anger blazing in his eyes. "Hey! Watch where your going!" he snapped, before realizing who he was talking to. 

"Oh! Uh, my bad, I was totally talking to someone else" he said, catching up to her. He tried to put his arm around her waist, but the girl immediately stepped away from him. Chen kept trying to pull the girl to his side, but she kept dodging him. Apparently, she quickly grew tired of it and faced Chen. She pushed back her black hood, revealing the most beautiful girl Lloyd had ever laid eyes on. She had long dark brown hair that was tied back in a tight pony tail and one side of her bangs had blue and green streaks in it while the other side had a single bleached streak. Her eyes held green rings that faded to blue rings around the pupils. 

She also had a scar on her left eye that started  just above her eyebrow and curved to her cheekbone. There were one or two light bruises on her face. And those only added to the annoyance that glittered in her eyes. The hall all of a sudden went quiet as everyone watched what was happening. "Look, do I have to verbally tell you to back off of me?" the new girl said to Chen with a deadly calmness in her voice. "Aw, come on. You and I were-" Chen started to reply before the girl cut him off. "No. I don't want to hear any of that. You will leave me alone. Or there will be consequences. Such as me filing a harassment complaint to the office" she said sternly. 

A lot of "Oooh's" echoed around the hallway. "Well, its not harassment if its willing" Chen replied with a smirk as he tried to sneak his arm around her waist. The girl suddenly grabbed his wrist in a steel-like grip and forced it away from her. "But I'm not willing" she lightly snapped. She then proceeded to push Chen away from her. "And besides, you, are definitely not my type" she added before pulling her hood up and walking off. After a few moments of silence, Chen finally gave up and walked away in the opposite direction of the girl. 

Then the sounds of talking filled the halls again. "Whoa" said Cole. "Please tell me I'm not dreaming" Nya said as she lightly pinched herself. "You aren't dreaming" Lloyd told her. "Did that really, just happen?!" Jay asked. "Yup" everyone but Kai and Jay chorused. "Where's Kai?" Zane asked as he noticed the hot-head wasn't with them. 

Right then, Kai came running. "Guys, I just found out something!" he said excitedly. "What?" everyone but him chorused. "That new girl has all the same classes as us!" Kai said happily. "And how do you know that?" Lloyd asked. "Well, I sneaked after her after she rejected Chen, and I saw her take out her schedule. So I got close enough to see all her classes without her noticing" the hot-head explained. "That is both cool, and creepy" said Jay. 

The bell then went off. "Well, let's go" said Nya. The group walked off to their first class, and low and behold, the new girl was standing outside the door. Lloyd nodded to her and gave her a small smile. The girl didn't smile, but she did give a small nod back. The group friends went into the classroom and took their seats. After everyone in the class had settled down, their teacher stood up. 

"Class, I would like to introduce a new student to our classroom" they said before looking at the door and making a beckoning motion. The new girl walked in and stood about five feet away from the teacher. "Everyone, say hello to Aria Jade Christopher" said the teacher. "Hello Aria" the class chorused. Aria looked up a bit from under her hood and moved her hand a bit in a waving motion. "Now, Aria, there's an open desk right beside Nya. Why don't you take a seat there? Nya, could you raise your hand please?" said the teacher. Nya did so and Aria walked over and took the seat beside her. 

She pushed back her hood and leaned against the back of her chair. When she was settled, the teacher started the lesson... The first three periods of the day were very uneventful. But then the fourth period came around, and during the middle of the lesson, sirens went off. The teacher then said, "Oh no, Garmadon's back!" they said. Everyone  glared at Lloyd except his friends and Aria. "Duck and cover everyone!" the teacher said as they got under their desk. 

"Can I have a bathroom pass?" Lloyd and his friends chorused. Aria also raised her hand with them. The teacher dismissed them all and the group ran out of the classroom. Aria ran down the hall to her locker and went inside it. She closed the door and the inside of her locker light up with black light strips. The bottom dropped out beneath her and Aria went down a small slide that lead to a small garage with two cases. One case held Aria's Ninja Gi and the other held her Katana and Bow and Arrow. 

"Time to kick some bad butt" she said to herself with a smirk before she quickly changed into the Gi and grabbed her weapons before heading out to help stop Lord Garmadon
