Anyways, heres to hoping 2021 will help with it, and I should have something out before the end of the new year.

Sorry It is slightly shorter than usual ones

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy!

Now when Jay and Nya decided to become Yin and Yang, they also decided to do another thing.

Adopt Lloyd as their son.

Now, in reality, they couldn't exactly do that, as they were both teenagers, but they decided to still become the parental figures for Lloyd. He may act older, but he is still a child inside, and they both realised that.

Without his actual mother around, Lloyd kept losing his sense of direction when it came to parental figures, and he grew up most of his life without his. So when team Jaya approached him to discuss it, he was confused at first, but all too happy to agree to it, and he has never regretted the decision.

Yes, Misako took it a bit personally, knowing that her son prefers his adoptive parents, but eventually realised that she couldn't be there for Lloyd like Jay and Nya could, and decided to help them by giving them advice instead.

Yes, she was jealous that her own son chose them, but she had to deal with it.

Anyway, with the sudden realisation of having a son to now take care of, Jay and Nya both cramped down on the internet to help them be good parents to him. That involved dietary plans, what he could and couldn't get rid of, and so on.

Anyway, onto a traditional day.

"Mama!" Lloyd yelled around the house. He hadn't had anything since breakfast, and frankly, he was quite peckish. It only took about ten seconds before Nya had poked her way into the living room, where Lloyd had been lying around.

"What is it Lloyd?" She asked, worryingly. Jay poked his head around too.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Im hungry." Lloyd wined, grabbing the Tv remote and flicking the tv channel to a random cartoon. Both Jay and Nya looked at each other and sighed.

Normally, they would go make him something to eat, however it seemed like their actions have had a negative effect on Lloyd, making him lazy and unwilling to do stuff himself. All their parenting had gone wrong, and that made them both sad.

They failed.

They knew what they had to do.

They both entered the room, looking stern at Lloyd. He was just slurping on a drink before looking at them.

"... What?" He questioned, eyebrow raised.

"Why don't you make it yourself?" Nya asked him, keeping a stoic look on her face. All she got in return was a groan.

"Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...... Can't you make it me?" He whined. Jay took his turn to step in.

"Cause we think you are getting lazy, and just cannot be bothered to do things for you. We are here for you, but not to do everything for you." Jay stood his ground, with the both of them crossing their arms.

"Not my fault you do everything for me..." Lloyd talked back to them, annoying them more.

"So it's our fault?" Nya spoke out, getting more frustrated. Jay could see where this was going.

"Well, yeah. Mostly." Lloyd sassed, looking back at the Tv. Nya grabbed the Tv remote out of his hand, and turned off the Tv.

"Hey! What was that for!" He complained. Nya had to keep herself calm to not lash out at him, however her sometimes hot headed manor got in the way.

"Pay attention to me young man. Ever since we decided to adopt you as our own, you have gotten a lot lazier, and a lot ruder, as if you don't appreciate what we are doing for you! We have done a lot for you, to try and help you, and you can't even be bothered to help yourself!-"

"Um, Nya? Don't go too harsh on him..." Jay tried to interrupt.

"Not now freckles, he needs to know this." Nya argued with him, slightly scaring Lloyd.

He knew he was in trouble

"Now if you want something to eat, you will go make it yourself. We will help you if you need it, but we won't be here to do it all for you/ I'm sorry but you will have to learn to do it yourself." Nya finished her rant, looking back at Jay. He gave a small smile of encouragement, before she looked back at Lloyd with her stern face on.

Lloyd sighed. He knew what he was doing was wrong, and couldn't just rely on his adoptive parents to do anything about it. He sat up, then got off the couch.

"Fine. I guess you are right. I have been getting lazy." Lloyd admitted, looking down. Nya just hugged him.

"Don't worry, it's our fault for not putting a stop to it sooner." She soothed him, trying to give him a bit of reassurance. A few seconds later, Jay joined in. They stayed that way for a minute, before letting go.

"I'm going to go make myself something to eat then..." Lloyd said awkwardly. In response he got a pat on the back.

"Atta lad, now don't let us keep you" Jay said, before letting Lloyd go off to make whatever he was planning. The couple sat down on the couch themselves.

"Do you think I was too harsh?"

Jay looked over at his Yang, who was looking back with worry in her eyes. He took her hands in his, reminding him of when he did the same thing when she was worried about giving up Samurai X. She managed to get through her worries before, and she could get through them now.

"It was slightly" Jay started, but hurried his words when he saw his to-be wife soon (hopefully) get uncomfortable, "However, I think what you did did the trick, per say. I don't like being harsh on him, and I'm happy that you stood up to him, however I think we haven't been strict enough with him."

"I know what you mean." Nya sighed. "We have been allowing him to use us like this, and its our fault that we let it get this bad. From tomorrow, we make sure that we are more strict on him, and not let him get away with as much."

"Yeah." Jay agreed, before hearing Lloyd come back into the room.

"Uhh... Mama? Papa? Would you be able to teach me how to make spaghetti?" Lloyd asked with hesitation, an embarrassed smile on his face and his hands put together. The pair looked at each other and smiled.

"Sure, we can help. As long as you're learning, we are happy to help." Jay pulled himself up, and helped Nya up, before the three headed to make the food.

And although it was just making some spaghetti, they all enjoyed the family time together, whilst also showing Lloyd he can be independent from other people.

And although their family structure was a bit strange, with Lloyd only being a few years younger than them, they all didn't care about that.

As long as they cared for each other.
