Slams open door.

HELLOO PEOPLE OF THE INTERNET, I HAVE RETURNED FOR NOW TO BRING SOME SPICY JAYA CONTENT, Which when I look at it, its not really spicy.

Okay, real talk here, Seabound messed me up a lot, to the point where I wanted to leave, however I still have a lot of hope on Nya's return, because surely they wouldn't write out one of the best characters in all of Ninjago.

Anyway to help subside the pain, I have brought you more Jaya goodness, in a world where the season ended at episode 12, with the dancing in Episode 13 still taking place anyway.

So without further ado, we begin!

It had been a few months since their fight with Calmaar, where they managed to stop him, and seize the amulet from him, locking it away in Shintaro where he would never be able to get it. Zane scanned it to see if it wasn't the fake from the Island originally where Clutch bamboozled them with it, it was in fact, the real deal.

They had no idea what Calmaar was doing down there, plotting with his army, but it was an issue to be dealt with another day, for now, they relax, and enjoy the peaceful bliss over the land.

Benthomaar had decided to stay full time at the Monastery, helping out a bit with stuff when needed. Apart from that, he has been enjoying his time with Kai and Cole playing Prime Empire. There was no TV's down in the deep down dark deep down, however he had soon got the grasp of it, not as good as the other two, but he was learning.

Lloyd was mostly fine, just readjusting to being back in the Monastery. Even though they were not gone that long, it felt like ages in the Hydro Bounty.

Maya and Ray had decided to leave as the others were settling back in, however they came back a bit later for a few more days a week after, spending some quality time with their children, and occasionally bringing Jay with them. He was part of the family now, after all.

However, unfortunately, getting back to normal life means getting back to normal chores, such as plumbing, cleaning, and the most dreaded one for all the ninja... food shopping.

Nya especially hated it since whenever her and Jay went to go get the food, he would always do something stupid to "liven" up the journey. Whether that be dressing and acting like a cowboy, naturo running around the stores, or even just playing helicopter noises through a megaphone.

Today, however, Nya and Jay were tasked with shopping for food once again, and Nya had no idea what she was getting into, getting into the car with Jay (who had decided to drive today) was pretty normal, he let her choose the music for the radio, which was weird, because usually whoever drove chose the music, but Nya passed it off as him being nice.

'Who knows, maybe he is just going to be calm and collected today, we did have a harsh time down in the sea..' Nya thought, letting the tunes of 'What If's' by Kane Brown flow through her ears. Closing her eyes, she sighed and relaxed into the seat, closing her eyes and letting the tune take over.

From the sharp turns one after the other, she assumed to be pulling into the parking lot of the store. Opening her eyes confirmed that.

Pulling into a parking bay, Jay quickly pulled the parking brake, and got out the car. Confused, Nya watched as Jay ran round the car, opening the car door for her.

"Thank you?" Nya questionly replied, getting out of the car, grabbing a bag and a shopping trolley token from the compartment at her legs in the process.

Locking the car, Jay held his hand out for her, as if encouraging her to 'take his hand.' Nya smiled, grabbing it and walking hand-in-hand to the entrance.

Pulling out the token, Nya was about to go to the shopping trolleys, when it was just yoinked out of her hand, and Jay was rushing to go get one.

'Okay? Jay is acting a bit weird today...' her subconscious nagged her, however she just dismissed it, playing it off like its normal behaviour. Who knows, maybe seawater got into his brain.

Bringing the trolley over, Nya went to grab it, however Jay holstered it away.

"No need, Madam, I will handle it." He mentioned, before walking into the store, leaving Nya perplexed at the doorway.

"Okay, something has really gotten into him" She spoke to nobody in the air, before walking after him.

Aisle after aisle, product after product, Nya would read out what they were going to get from her phone, and before she had a chance to get it, Jay would have beat her to the game, and grabbed the product. It seemed like he was doing everything in his power to make her not do anything. So, as a result, she just stopped reading them out, making him frustrated and deflated. Nya smiled at the small victory she got.

However, it didn't stop her questions in her head, like why was he doing this, whatever for? And then it struck her, it was Jay's shopping trip experience.

"Jay, why have you been acting strange today?" She stopped him, turning him around to face him, projecting a stern look in the process. However, what she didn't expect was that there wasn't a strand of fear or doubt in his eyes about what he was doing. It confused her more.

"I'm just trying to make you comfortable, milady" He spoke with certainty in his voice and not a trace of anything else.

"Milady?" She pondered for a second before she realised what he was doing. "This is Simping, isn't it?" The shocked look on his face showed he didn't expect that answer.

"S-simping? No!" He defended himself. "This is chivalry"

"Simping." She corrected him. Jay just folded his arms.

"Chivalry" He counter corrected

"Simping."

"Chivalry."

"Simping."

"Chivalry."

"Simping."

He stopped the retort in his mouth, realising he would get nowhere with this situation.

"What makes it simping and not chivalry?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow at her endeavours.

"I dunno, you are going a bit overboard with the whole 'chivalry' thing" She said with a shrug to accompany it, before straightening. "And why exactly are you doing the chivalry thing?"

"Cause it's fun!" he answered straight to the point, "And, you had a rough time down in the ocean, so I am giving you a break from the stuff."

He was honest, she had to give him that. Plus, she did have a bad time in the bottom, and a rest was what she was thinking about. However, she was thinking differently, maybe a nice holiday out, somewhere sunny, still by the beach to test her new powers. Maybe an island, Ninjago did have some private islands for holidays. Maybe take Jay with her too, just them having a fun holiday together alone, with them relaxing on the beach, Jay without a shirt..... Nevermind that, she could drool over Jay another day, because another point came up in her mind.

"And you don't deserve one? I know about the stunt you pulled to get the bounty working." The shock didn't seem to die down, which Jay was wondering how she got that information. "Lloyd blabbed about it, even though you told him not to." Nya finished the sentence in an accusing tone.

"And let me tell you something Jay Walker, if you even think of trying to do such a stunt again, if you survive it, I'll kill you myself." She got up into his face, staring directly into his soul. "Got it?!"

"Y-yes" he stammered out. In a quick turn, she grinned, pulling his head down and ruffling his head.

"Good boy" She remarked, before handing him her phone. "And since you want to be chivalrous, you can get the rest of the items!"

Jay looked down, taking one look at the remaining items on the list before his face went white.

"Th-these are woman's sanitary products-" He looked up to see Nya leaving the aisle, holding the car keys in hand.

"Have fun!" She yelled down to him, before disappearing out of view. Jay looked back at the list, double checking that it was correct in the assumption, before looking up again.
