A Plushing Mess
Hello guys, and welcome back.
I hope you enjoy it.

(NYA'S POV)
I don't know everything, even though others think that I act like it. I don't!
Anyway, off topic.
One of the things I thought I knew however, was most of the activities that Jay does on a daily, which include, waking up, breakfast, training with me,, cuddling with me, inventing things with m- basically a lot of things with me.
I even know that he goes out often, mainly to go get himself new hoodies, because I- A random hoodie monster snatches them up, and takes them somewhere where Jay cannot find them. They do allow me to have some though. I am definitely not that monster, oh no.
However, to my surprise, there has been one thing that Jay has been hiding from me, including a vehicle, a warehouse, and a bunch of ghost accounts that he has, that I have never even seen.
And even though it looked bad at the start, there was a completely innocent reason for it. Jay is a big cuddly bear in my eyes, and it just so happened that he was also a monthly santa for the poor children of Ninjago.
By delivering many stuffed toys. Plushies, in another light.
And how did I find this out? Lets just say I did some digging one day, curiously wondering where my boyfriend had gone without telling me. I wasn't being overprotective, I just wanted to know where he could have been for the last thirty minutes. He missed cuddle time and all I wanted to know was where he could be. He didn't even message me saying he was going shopping.
I'm not that overprotective, right?
Some would disagree. Most of the team thought I got a bit too overprotective with him. Sure, I may go slightly crazy whenever one of his fangirls comes to ask for an autograph and maybe a photo, but doesn't everyone?
Then again, locking him in my bedroom for two days to cuddle my insecurities away is probably not normal. Well, I thought it was normal. Jay doesn't mind, so surely it is normal.
Then again, the others think too much, to the point where I had to go to extra therapy because of it. Aw well. It didn't work.
Besides, that's not the point. The point is, I decided to follow him, to see where he was going those nights. Turns out, I felt horrible for digging.
Jay himself had rented out, or quite possibly bought a small warehouse by the docks (due to his now limitless wealth with his birth father deceased), with a truck, and Jay loading it up.
But that wasn't the surprising bit.
I peeked around, trying to stay out of sight. I noticed that the boxes that were being loaded into the truck, were full of stuffed bears, and plushies. Some of all of us, the ninja, as well. It made me question. What? Where? And Why? I decided to intervene as Jay was on the way back to the warehouse.
"JAY!" I called out, coming out of my hiding spot. "What is this all about?!"
Jay jumped, quickly turning around to face me.
"He-hey Nya! Wh-at you d-doing here?" He asked. I just ignored the question.
"I said, what is this all about?" I near demanded. Jay just let out a sigh
"Follow me." He said before walking towards the truck, I followed suit. He opened the back of the truck to show me the boxes filling up the truck with all the plushies. I pulled out a Lloyd plushie from the pile, and held it up to him.
"In my spare time, once a month, I go and visit as many children's hospitals as I can, delivering presents for all of them, whether that be small ninja plushies, or teddy bears. I try and buy as much as I can to give away, and this month I hit a high amount!" I was confused.
"And why have we not heard of this before?" I put her hand on my hip, an eyebrow raised. Jay's response was an awkward chuckle.
"Because I thought you would all laugh at me?" It sounded more like a question than an answer, and I just raised my eyebrow further.
"Okay. Fine. It was because when I was younger, I hurt myself and had to go to the children's hospital for a few weeks. And when I was there, I felt so lonely and so sad most of the time, that I promised myself that I would go give some joy to the children in the hospitals whenever I could. So when I received my dad's money, I decided to live that through, helping whenever I can."
My heart melted at that. He always was the caring one of the team, and even more than we knew. If possible, I loved him even more.
"Alright then." I said with a straight face before turning it into a smile. "May I join you?"
"You sure? It will take a while?"
"I have never been more sure in my life."

The trip in the truck was a long one to the first hospital, however I didn't mind, both of us jamming along to 'Pompeii' on the radio. It was one of the more boring things we could be doing, however, having a swell old time with Jay, there is nowhere else I would want to be.
"And if you close your eyes... Does it almost feel like nothings changed at all, and if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like you've been here before? How am I gonna be an optimist about this? How am I gonna be an optimist about thisssssssssssssss?" We both sang in sync with each other badly, laughing through it, before pulling up to the first hospital.
Jay pulled up, pulling the handbrake up, before turning to me.
"Go into the hospital, and ask how many children are currently in the wards. Say it's for Jay," He tells me, leaning over and opening the door. I got out and walked inside of the hospital, swiftly reaching the reception.
"Can I help you?" She asked in a monotone voice.
"I'm here on behalf of Jay Walker. He is outside with the toys for the children, and he asked me to come ask how many children are in the wards at the moment?" Immediately, her face lit up.
"Oh! You are an associate of Mr Walker! Lemmie look it up." She went on her computer, typing in a few keys, before turning back to me.
"There are currently eighty children in the hospital."
I smiled. "Thanks! Be back soon!" I quickly made my way back to the truck, Jay looking back at me.
"Number?" He simply asked.
"Eighty" I responded.
"Good, good." His voice muffled as he went behind the boxes, before yeeting some towards me. I caught them with relative ease.
"Twenty toys per box, eighty children, that equates to four boxes." Jay jumped out of the truck, and picked up two boxes. "Two each then." I picked up the other two, and we both headed inside.
Jay seemed to know his way around the hospital like the back of his hand, and considering he delivers often, I should have expected it. It took less than three minutes of walking before we reached the doors of the children's ward.
"You ready?" Jay flashes me a smile. I rolled my eyes dramatically before grinning back.
"Ready as ever." I said, as we both opened the door.
The scene that greeted them was a surprising one for them both, as kazoos went off as they went through the door. A banner, flying "Welcome back!"
Suddenly, the pair were tackled by a bunch of arms, both small and large, as the children came to hug them. They both put down their boxes, and embraced as many children as they could, laughing.
"Hey kiddos! How are you doing?" Jay called out. A surge of different responses came from the children, and Nya had to stifle a laugh.
"Guess what???" He yelled out overdramatically, and the children all bellowed
"What??" Nya also decided to join in, just for funzies.
"Me, and my lovely girlfriend here.." He ruffled my hair, which I leaned into, if only for a split second.
"Are here to deliver a present for each and every one of you!" The children cheered, and it brought a smile to my face. I could understand why Jay came and did this each month, even missing out on his favourable things, like video games, me, hanging out with the others, me, inventing on the side, me, playing the guitar... did I say 'me' yet? Oh, and especially hanging out together with our son Lloyd as well.
So, to enjoy his culture, I decided to join in. One by one, we handed out the presents to the children, who in turn hugged us, and asked for our autographs. We were happy to give.
However, one caught my eye. She was a little girl, around 6-7 years old, lying in bed with a broken leg. Best thing for me however was that she held a Nya in her hands. So naturally, I had a bit of a bias. When she saw me, she all but screamed my name.
"NYA!" She held her arms out for a hug, in which I accepted, letting her pull me close and hug me for all her arms could give. "I LOVE YOU"
My face instantly went to the shade of a tomato, which looking back at Jay to see him smirking at me didn't help at all.
"Yowu are my favourite superhero. You are my inspiration!" She held up the doll with that. Giving it to me. I took it carefully, inspecting it, and although I saw a few imperfections, I decided to not mention it, instead putting on a small show.
"Hello, I am Nya! I protect the world with my friends!" I made the doll move around, as if it came to life to give the small child a show.
"Hey, what about me?" A plushie of Jay appeared, looking at plushie Nya.
"And you..." I made my plushie self hug Jay's plushie.
"As we are one." P-Jay said, hugging back.
The small child clapped, and the us two looked at each other.
"Here you go." Jay handed her his plushie, and Nya gave hers back.
"Thank youuuuuuuuu!!!!" She stretched out, before holding out a marker pen. We took the hint and wrote a heartfelt message each on her cast, before waving her off and heading to the next person.
It was an hour later when they got out, going back to the van.
"Gee that was tiring, are we going home now? Smoothies? More hoodies for me?" I asked excitedly.
"Not yet, we still have many more to go to." Jay cheered on, and I suddenly felt exhausted.
"Howeverr...... we will get some smoothies on the way there." He added on. And I smiled.
I can't wait for the rest.
