"Pst, Kai.... Kai wake up." Lloyd whispered.

"Lloyd, buddy." Kai began after a few moments. "It's like two AM. What could possibly-"

"I found a kitten outside. You've gotta help me hide her to Uncle Wu doesn't make me take her to a shelter." Lloyd interrupted, holding up a small grey kitten. "I named her Spoons and I am already very attached."

"Lloyd, do you even know how to care for a kitten?"

"I can figure it out." Lloyd replied. "Please Kai? Help me with Spoons?"

Kai grumbled a bit before sitting up. "First, you've gotta lemme see how cute Spoons is." He smiled, doing grabby hands towards the cat in Lloyd's hands.

Lloyd's eyes lit up, "So you'll help me?" Lloyd grinned quietly and he handed the cat to Kai.

Kai sat Spoons in his lap and pet her for a moment. "I guess I could help you. She is pretty cute."

Spoons yawned and curled up in Kai's lap. "She likes you."

"Probably because I'm warm."

"I know, but still, she loves you."

"I'm a lovable guy."

"Yeah, when you're not being dumb."

"Hey."

"It was a joke calm down." Lloyd laughed quietly.

A series of sneezes came from down the hall. "Okay, Cole, did you forget to wash that shirt you had on when you got that cat out of a tree?" Jay shouted from his room.

"Uh, Jay, my room is three rooms away, there is no way you're cat hair allergy is that bad." Cole replied from his room, right next to Kai's.

Kai and Lloyd exchanged a panicked looks. "We gotta hide Spoons." Lloyd whispered.

There was a knock on Kai's door. "Hide under my bed, go go go."

Cole walked in with Jay a few moments later. "Kai, did you help someone with a cat or something today?" Cole asked as Jay began to sneeze repeatedly.

"Yeah, some old lady's cat got stuck in a tree, she couldn't get it down." Kai shrugged.

"Go-" Jay began, interrupted by a sneeze. "Get the cat-" another sneeze "hair off!"

Kai rolled his eyes. "Maybe you'll stop sneezing if you get out of my room."

A meow came from under Kai's bed. "What was th-"

"I farted." Kai said quickly. "You better get out before it starts to stink in here."

"That was not a fa-"

"Yes it was."

Another meow from beneath the bed. "Kai that sounds like-"

"I get it my farts sound weird, can you get out now?"

Cole sat on the floor and looked under the bed. "Lloyd, why do you have a cat?" He asked. "And why are you under Kai's bed?"

Lloyd chuckled awkwardly as he gently hugged Spoons. "Her name is Spoons, and I am already very attached, so please don't tell my uncle?"

Cole stood up. "Well it's been decided." He began. "Jay, stop forgetting to take your allergy meds."

"But-" Jay began.

"No buts, Lloyd's emotionally attached to a cat named Spoons."
